- This is Undaunted Life, a man's podcast.
0:21
I'm your host Kyle Thompson.
0:23
Let's get into it.
0:24
Male and female, he created them and he blessed them
0:26
and named them man when they were created.
0:29
Guys, that is Genesis 5.2.
0:30
That will obviously be playing
0:31
to what we're gonna be talking about today.
0:32
But guys, if you have not left us a five star review
0:35
and a positive rating wherever you are,
0:36
please go and do that.
0:37
And Spotify, you can just go into the show.
0:39
You can hit five stars and Apple podcasts.
0:41
You can do it just about everywhere.
0:42
Please make sure you do that.
0:43
Also, we are always accepting donations
0:46
from new guys that want to support
0:47
what we are doing here.
0:48
Again, we do have ads.
0:49
You guys have emailed me about that before,
0:50
but the majority of our support comes from donors,
0:53
comes directly from you guys.
0:54
So if you like the content that we put out
0:56
with Undaunted Life, a man's podcast,
0:57
just go to www.undaunted.life/donate
1:01
and hop on board, be a part of the team.
1:03
And I did want to address this
1:05
before we get into the stuff
1:06
that we're gonna be talking about today.
1:07
But yes, I was in Washington, DC this week.
1:09
So some of you guys saw that on social media.
1:11
But no, I was not there
1:12
because of the potential drop of the SCOTUS decision.
1:15
So I was there as a guest of Tim Kennedy,
1:17
who was a guest on the show last week,
1:18
but he was doing a kind of a book release
1:21
gala party at the Library of Congress.
1:23
And his team over there,
1:24
that's kind of handling the publishing
1:26
and the publicist side of the book release,
1:28
Sarah Verardo, Verardo Strategies,
1:30
Sean Lee and Danica Thomas and Sarah's sister Whit
1:34
and all those people, a great amazing team over there.
1:37
They had me as a guest out there in DC to be there
1:39
for that event.
1:40
We got to watch, I was part of a little VIP watch party
1:42
for a documentary that they're gonna be having
1:44
coming out maybe later this year or something like that.
1:46
It's not even quite done yet.
1:47
But it was just kind of a cool thing to be there
1:49
with a lot of great people.
1:50
I met his co-writer in all this, Nick Palma Shano
1:54
and his wife Susie.
1:55
And I got to have dinner with Tim and his family
1:58
the night before, which was amazing,
2:00
or with Tim's family rather.
2:01
He wasn't there, so with Tim's family.
2:02
So I got to sit there with his dad,
2:03
talk about hunting, talk about a bunch of different things.
2:05
And then while I was there,
2:07
I got to hang out with the buddy from high school.
2:08
Like it was just kind of a cool trip.
2:09
But on Monday morning, right?
2:11
So that would be Monday of this week.
2:12
We were gonna be doing a ruck through Washington DC.
2:15
So get a workout in before we do the suit and tie,
2:18
black tie thing that night.
2:19
And as I was walking to where we were meeting up at,
2:22
it was the, I think it was the National Guard Museum
2:25
or something like that.
2:26
I walked by the US Capitol
2:27
'cause it's like, you know,
2:28
I'd never seen the Capitol before, I'd never been to DC.
2:30
So I walked by it.
2:31
And then as I'm walking around to get where I need to go,
2:34
I see the Supreme Court.
2:35
And then I see a bunch of media and a bunch of protesters.
2:38
So I talked to one of the media members,
2:39
I was like, hey, what's exactly going on?
2:40
And they're like, hey, the Dobbs case
2:42
is gonna be announced this morning.
2:43
That was essentially the buzz that was in the air
2:45
is that literally like 15 minutes from the time
2:47
I talked to that media guy,
2:48
they were expecting the Dobbs case
2:49
that could potentially overturn Roe v. Wade to go down.
2:52
And so I went down there,
2:53
and here's the interesting thing.
2:54
Once I went down there,
2:56
there were pro-life protesters
2:57
right next to pro-abortion protesters.
2:59
The pro-abortion protesters have their megaphone,
3:01
so do the pro-life people.
3:02
But the pro-abortion protesters were, you know,
3:04
screaming and doing all their different things and all that.
3:06
And they were doing it unimpeded.
3:08
Like I literally could have walked up to them
3:09
and went boop, right on their nose.
3:10
Like there was nothing that would have stopped me
3:12
from doing that.
3:13
And yet there was Capitol Police
3:15
that was surrounding the pro-life protesters, right?
3:19
The people that were out there peacefully protesting.
3:21
I could not have walked up to them, right?
3:24
Because they were surrounded by police.
3:25
I had their bikes kind of set up,
3:27
which doesn't that tell you a lot
3:28
about both sides of this issue?
3:30
The pro-abortion people can scream and holler
3:32
and say these horribly evil things and do it unimpeded.
3:35
But if pro-life people get out there and basically say,
3:37
"Yeah, we probably shouldn't allow people
3:38
to murder their babies,"
3:40
then they have to be protected by police
3:41
because they're not safe.
3:43
So, and as everybody knew,
3:44
like the decision didn't come down,
3:46
so it was a lot of buildup for nothing,
3:47
but that was interesting.
3:48
But yes, had a really, really good trip out there.
3:50
Tim and I will be doing some more stuff later on this summer.
3:52
Like I told you, we're gonna be doing another interview,
3:54
doing some training with him and stuff like that
3:56
down in Texas.
3:57
So, a lot of great time.
3:58
But again, just shout out to Sarah Verardo
4:00
and her team over there.
4:01
It was an amazing time.
4:03
I got to spend time with Chad Robachow,
4:04
got to meet him in person for the first time,
4:06
got to spend some time with a lot of Tim's SF buddies
4:10
and all the people that he's gone through
4:12
all this military training with.
4:14
And then some of his friends that he trains with down in Austin,
4:16
I got to spend time a little bit of time
4:18
with the Senator from North Carolina Senator
4:20
tell us who kind of helped coordinate some of the stuff
4:22
that was going on whenever we were trying to get people
4:24
out of Afghanistan.
4:25
But there, I'll go ahead and put a bow on it.
4:26
It was a really, really good time,
4:27
but I know a lot of people were wondering
4:29
kind of why I was standing next to Tim Kennedy
4:30
and why we were both in tuxedos.
4:32
So that's basically how that goes.
4:34
Now guys, I'm looking at the time this morning
4:36
and I got a bunch of stuff.
4:37
I got to get going today.
4:37
So I'm gonna announce what we're doing
4:39
for the quick hitter segment,
4:40
but I may not actually be able to do it.
4:42
So I'm gonna announce what we're gonna be doing,
4:44
but what might end up happening
4:46
is I'll have to record this as a separate episode,
4:48
maybe later.
4:49
You know, we'll see how it goes.
4:50
I might be able to, you know, get all this in,
4:51
but this is what we will be going over
4:53
in the quick hitters,
4:53
either in this episode or the next one.
4:55
We're gonna be going over the attempted assassination
4:57
of Supreme Court Justice Brett Kavanaugh
4:59
by a left wing pro abortion anti gun Democrat.
5:01
Also, the major report detailing massive sexual abuse
5:04
in the Southern Baptist convention,
5:06
the drag show at a gay bar in Texas here,
5:08
a couple of weeks back where parents subjected their children
5:10
in child abuse, major league baseball players standing up
5:13
to the LGBTQ plus revolution because of their Christian faith.
5:16
And then Fox News joining the LGBTQ plus revolution.
5:20
So we'll see if we can get to all that.
5:21
But today, we're gonna be doing a review
5:24
of the smash hit documentary from Matt Walsh
5:27
over at The Daily Wire called What Is A Woman.
5:30
This has been talked about all over the place.
5:31
If you're anywhere in the conservative media sphere
5:34
or blogosphere or Twitter sphere or whatever.
5:37
Everybody's talking about this.
5:38
If you're on TikTok or Instagram or whatever,
5:40
there's clips of this all over the place.
5:42
I'm sure by now, most of you have seen it
5:43
because The Daily Wire has gained tens of thousands,
5:45
if not hundreds of thousands of subscribers
5:48
to what they're doing so that people can go
5:49
and watch this documentary.
5:50
So this documentary was hilariously
5:53
and perfectly released on the first day of Pride Month,
5:55
you know, a couple of weeks back.
5:57
And it's been just an absolute smash for them.
6:00
So The Daily Wire actually reported that
6:01
on the day the documentary released
6:03
that they got more new subscribers in that one day
6:06
than at any other point in the company's history.
6:08
So with any of the stuff released by Candace Owens
6:11
or you know, Ben Shapiro or any of the movies they've done,
6:14
they've gotten more traffic because of that.
6:16
And the documentary is available just for Daily Wire members
6:21
which has made some people mad like,
6:22
hey, why, if it's so important,
6:23
why not put it out there for free?
6:24
But everybody makes content and that content costs money
6:28
and if it's a value, you should pay for it.
6:29
Again, I talk about it with people that are mad
6:31
about us having advertisements or, you know,
6:33
asking for donations or something like that.
6:34
It's like, dude, like we don't do this for free.
6:36
We can't operate and do this for free.
6:38
Like nobody would expect you to do your job for free.
6:41
So why do you expect that of other people?
6:43
And so guys, if there are entities out there
6:45
like Undaunted Life, like the Daily Wire,
6:47
like Blaze Media, like all these different entities,
6:49
support these people with your dollars.
6:51
For a lot of people, you know,
6:53
it's like nine bucks a month, 10 bucks a month
6:54
and you can get all this amazing great content.
6:57
And it's just funny to me how you don't even scoff
6:59
at Amazon Prime or, you know, Netflix
7:01
or any of these other places.
7:02
And these are companies that hate you in your point of view
7:04
and yet you scoff when conservative has asked for money.
7:06
But I'll get off my high horse there.
7:08
But the clips of the documentary again
7:10
are all over social media.
7:10
A lot of you guys have seen it.
7:12
If you've not seen it in its entirety,
7:13
you need to go become a member of the Daily Wire
7:15
and check that out.
7:17
So what the documentary is about
7:18
for those of you that aren't aware of it
7:19
is it all started on Twitter a few years back
7:22
'cause, you know, Matt Walsh would talk on a show
7:24
about transgenderism and kind of the history of it
7:26
and all that.
7:27
And then it occurred to him one day
7:27
to just ask this person that he was arguing
7:29
with the simple question, which is, what is a woman?
7:33
'Cause it's like, you know, you see all these circular
7:35
definitions of what a woman is.
7:36
A woman that identifies as a woman or is whatever this.
7:39
And the thing was, is he realized pretty quickly
7:41
that people couldn't answer the question cogently, right?
7:44
You know, as if they could answer the question
7:46
like, what is a cup?
7:47
What is a phone?
7:48
What is a dog?
7:49
They can answer that straightforward
7:50
but they couldn't answer what is a woman.
7:52
And so that led to him basically for over a year
7:56
preparing to make this documentary and release it.
7:58
And it couldn't be coming out at a better time
8:00
because we see all this convergence, you know,
8:02
in Pride Month, all this unbelievable social contagion
8:05
of what's happening in the LGBTQIA, whatever plus lobby,
8:09
especially when it comes to the trans side of things.
8:11
And so they made this documentary.
8:13
It's coinciding with the release of the book.
8:14
I'm not reviewing the book.
8:15
I'm just, you know, reviewing the documentary for today.
8:18
So as you would imagine, and we'll get into the specifics
8:20
of the documentary here in a second,
8:22
the critical reception was just astounding, right?
8:25
Because again, like I said, a lot of people
8:27
in the conservative side of things,
8:29
the Christian side of things, you know,
8:30
the sensible side of things, they love this.
8:32
But then when you go to Rotten Tomatoes,
8:35
what's interesting is typically what's interesting
8:37
about the Rotten Tomatoes scores is when the scores
8:40
from the critics is incredibly, incredibly low.
8:42
And the score from the audience is incredibly, incredibly high.
8:45
Typically that's when it's a, you know, a movie
8:47
that's like a just a crowd pleaser,
8:49
but the critics are like, oh, I don't wanna like this.
8:50
Or you see it in the opposite way,
8:52
where it's a super woke movie that's like 98%
8:54
from the critics and like 14% from the people.
8:57
But the interesting thing about this is that there are
8:59
basically no reviews from critics on Rotten Tomatoes.
9:03
The reviews are only from people that have actually seen
9:06
the film that are fans.
9:07
And so I think as of the last time I looked,
9:09
there was one review and it was somebody that actually works
9:11
with the Daily Wire, it's their entertainment,
9:13
one of their entertainment reporters or something like that.
9:15
And so the score is it's basically not even, you know,
9:18
registering, even though I think as of right now,
9:20
it is still the most viewed at home streaming documentary
9:24
in the country, okay?
9:25
But the reason is is 'cause a lot of critics
9:27
are refusing to review it, right?
9:30
And the reason is is because you can't review something
9:33
in all honesty if you've never seen it.
9:35
So I think there was a reviewer, an entertainment reviewer
9:37
from Rolling Stone that actually published a review of this
9:40
that didn't actually watch the film.
9:42
And they have the receipts over there at the Daily Wire
9:46
because they basically have a screenshot
9:48
of the copy of the review they sent specifically
9:51
to this reviewer.
9:52
And the screenshot is of the percent of the documentary
9:55
that this person watched, which just so happened to be 0%.
10:00
So the person writes a review of how this is the most
10:02
transphobic, awful documentary ever recorded
10:05
and yet had watched 0% of it.
10:08
And the reason why these people aren't watching it
10:10
and even if they have watched it,
10:11
why they're not reviewing it is because it's a destruction
10:14
of their worldview.
10:15
And they are absolutely unwilling to engage with something
10:18
that attacks their worldview directly.
10:20
This is something you see about a lot of people
10:22
from the left.
10:23
You know, I talk about this all the time.
10:23
I was supposed to go against on the debate show
10:26
over in the UK, unbelievable against Kristin Cobes-Dumei.
10:29
I think is how she pronounces her name
10:31
about the book called Jesus and John Wayne.
10:33
And at the last minute, she refuses to debate me
10:35
but does an interview with the host instead, right?
10:38
Because she knew the host is going to be nice and polite
10:40
and she didn't want to have her stuff challenged.
10:42
And so that's the thing is these people want to just stay
10:44
in their cocoon and never be challenged.
10:46
So I'm going to go through a bunch of thoughts on the film.
10:48
I'm going to start with some of the basic
10:49
kind of 30,000 foot view stuff.
10:51
And then we'll get into public perception
10:53
and get into a little bit more of kind of the nitty gritty.
10:55
So in terms of my basic thoughts on what is a woman,
10:57
it's absolute top notch quality, okay?
11:00
Which you can't say that about everything
11:01
that is produced by conservatives
11:03
and people that are on that side of things.
11:05
But I will say, especially here recently
11:07
with the Daily Wire, with the Blaze,
11:09
with PragerU, with TPUSA,
11:11
they're creating some very, very high quality content, right?
11:15
So this is quality that you would expect to see
11:18
in a, it's not a major motion picture
11:20
because it's a documentary, but any documentary
11:22
that you would assume would be high quality
11:23
like on Netflix or Amazon Prime or anything
11:25
that you used to rent a blockbuster back in the day.
11:27
So it's absolutely top notch.
11:29
And here's the other thing about it is
11:30
the documentary itself is when it's not like scary
11:33
and sickening and we'll get into some of those parts
11:35
here in a second, it's actually legitimately funny, okay?
11:38
Because Matt Walsh just really dead pans
11:40
throughout the entire thing and to combine it
11:42
with my next thought is Matt Walsh might be the only person
11:44
in conservative media, in conservatism
11:47
that could pull this off.
11:49
Because I'm not sure I've ever seen Matt Walsh smile.
11:52
Like I've followed his blog for a while,
11:54
I've followed his show for a while.
11:55
I'm not sure the guy has smiled like ever
11:57
in his entire life, if you have photographic evidence
12:00
of such, you should let me know
12:02
because I'm sure I've never seen the guy's teeth
12:04
for any reason.
12:05
But the thing about it is he's so sarcastic
12:07
that when he's asking question to these people
12:09
and he's going super poker face with it,
12:11
it's super hilarious.
12:13
And so he's asking these people very, very basic questions
12:15
and he's just basically letting them hang themselves
12:18
with their own rope.
12:19
He's letting them tie the sub knot for themselves.
12:21
But Matt Walsh did an absolutely incredible job with this.
12:24
Also in terms of just generic thoughts,
12:26
the documentary starts by tackling the question,
12:29
is there truth?
12:31
What is truth?
12:32
So the entire crux of the film is what is a woman?
12:35
But you can't answer that question
12:36
if you can't answer what truth is, okay?
12:39
Because we live in this postmodern era of my truth,
12:42
major air quotes on that, my truth.
12:44
Like what is your truth?
12:46
And he's talking about the truth and he gets into that
12:49
with some of the people that he interviews in the film,
12:51
but we live in this milieu of postmodernism
12:53
where we're not supposed to look at truth
12:55
as if there is capital T truth.
12:58
So I think that was a very important place
12:59
for him to start the documentary.
13:01
You know, basically, is there truth?
13:02
Can we know?
13:03
Another thought is that Matt Walsh,
13:04
he really does an amazing job at something
13:06
that I learned from my sales background
13:09
'cause I've done a lot of sales in my career,
13:11
just let people talk.
13:12
If you ask a question, don't bail the person out
13:17
by interrupting them or giving them the answer.
13:19
Let them talk.
13:20
And so if you're in a sales situation,
13:22
depending upon the questions you ask,
13:23
if it is a fit, you know, the product and the person
13:25
or the service and the person,
13:26
they will eventually sell themselves.
13:28
You just have to let them talk.
13:30
Now, it doesn't work 100% of the time, obviously,
13:32
but that's just good generalized advice.
13:34
And I thought that was fantastic
13:35
to see Matt Walsh throughout the film.
13:36
He would ask somebody, you know, a simple question,
13:38
maybe a pointed question,
13:39
maybe a little bit more difficult question,
13:40
and he wouldn't bail them out,
13:42
even whenever there was silence.
13:44
He would just let them talk.
13:45
So that's a good thing for a lot of you guys
13:47
is if you're debating someone that's across from you
13:49
or just having, you know, maybe a heated discussion
13:51
or a cordial discussion about a heated topic
13:53
or something like that,
13:54
make sure when you ask your question that you get an answer.
13:57
And then if you get part of an answer say,
13:59
tell me more about that.
14:01
Just let them keep talking because again, this worldview,
14:05
that's on the opposite side of what Matt Walsh me
14:07
and a lot of people that are on our side believe
14:09
their worldview is nonsense.
14:11
It is based and grounded in nothing.
14:14
And you have to let them,
14:16
well, they're never gonna realize
14:17
that they're not gonna change the things that they're doing.
14:19
But when you have a third party audience
14:21
listening to this interaction,
14:22
it's best to just let them do the talking.
14:25
And the last kind of generic thought is
14:27
he actually sent the people that he interviewed
14:29
the questions beforehand, okay?
14:32
And all the people still agreed to do the interview.
14:34
So he was interviewing people that do these, you know,
14:37
so-called gender reassignment surgeries.
14:39
He was, you know, sending it to people that were, you know,
14:41
non-binary counselors.
14:43
He was sending it to people that are professors
14:45
and gender theory and, you know, all this other stuff,
14:47
like people that are proponents of this worldview.
14:49
He sent them all the questions beforehand
14:51
and they still agreed to do the interview,
14:52
which is very, very interesting.
14:54
Because it was only when Walsh would ask
14:57
the simple follow-up questions
14:58
that things would go off the rails.
15:00
So when you look at the basic questions, right,
15:03
these people are thinking they're gonna hit a home run.
15:05
They're like, oh, he's asking them, you know,
15:06
what is a woman?
15:07
Like, how does a man become a woman?
15:08
Hey, this is what I'm kind of like.
15:09
Am I actually a woman?
15:10
And these people were all good with it.
15:12
And then we would ask simple follow-ups
15:14
to go a little bit deeper into a subject.
15:16
That's when people got real defensive.
15:17
That's when people got really, really mad.
15:19
That's when they really, really started charging up the rhetoric.
15:21
Okay.
15:22
Now let's talk about the public perception a little bit.
15:25
And then we'll get more into some of my detailed thoughts.
15:27
So the right obviously loves it
15:28
as I talked about from the beginning.
15:29
Conservatives have been sharing this all around.
15:31
The left, people on the left,
15:32
even though they haven't washed it,
15:33
they hate it, which is just hilarious.
15:35
Now, there was an interesting thing that happened
15:37
the night of the release of the film.
15:38
So they released it like, you know,
15:39
7 p.m. Central Time or Eastern Time or whatever.
15:42
On a particular night on, you know, June 1st,
15:44
there was an attack on the Daily Wire's website,
15:46
the night it was released.
15:48
Okay.
15:49
There was, I don't really understand the technology,
15:51
but essentially it was sending a bunch of bot signals
15:54
to basically affect people
15:55
that were wanting to stream it live.
15:57
Now it didn't affect things as it went forward,
15:59
but there was clearly a coordinated attack
16:02
on the release of this film.
16:03
And we can assume it wasn't coming from, you know,
16:05
arrival conservative outlet
16:07
because they want this content to be out there.
16:08
They've been incredibly complimentary of this content.
16:11
It just shows that people on that side of things
16:13
are willing to, you know, play dirty
16:14
in order to get people not to be able to see this,
16:17
which is something that we should pay attention to
16:18
as we move forward.
16:20
Also, Matt Walsh has actually received
16:22
credible death threats because of this.
16:24
So this is something that I talked about on the show.
16:25
This is something that he's basically expressed as like,
16:27
Hey, we knew this was coming.
16:29
We knew this was going to happen.
16:30
This wasn't really a surprise to us,
16:31
but it does kind of shed light on, you know,
16:33
the people that are, you know, constantly online
16:36
talking about how they're receiving credible death threats.
16:38
They never show the receipts.
16:40
Where Matt Walsh will take screenshots of these death threats,
16:42
put them up online and tag Twitter and be like,
16:44
Hey, are you going to do something about this?
16:46
People are threatening to kill me and my family.
16:47
Can we do something about that?
16:48
But again, it just goes back to these people
16:50
that are on these extreme leftist positions
16:52
on whatever the topic is, you know,
16:53
their willingness to be incredibly violent
16:55
to the point of potentially killing people.
16:57
You know, we saw that with the person
16:58
that was trying to kill Justice Brett Kavanaugh
17:00
a couple of weeks ago.
17:01
Also, people are trying to get Matt Walsh kicked off
17:03
a social media because of this, right?
17:05
So every day there are hundreds, if not thousands
17:07
of people that are, you know, flagging his account
17:10
and reporting it and doing those different things.
17:12
But as of now, it seems like, you know,
17:13
I'm recording this on the 15th, you know,
17:15
so it's been a couple of weeks since the release of this.
17:17
He's still on social media, but that was another thing
17:20
he talked about in the run up to the release of this film
17:22
is that he was going to release it regardless.
17:24
He was going to release it no matter what.
17:27
And he assumed that he was going to be getting kicked off
17:29
of social media.
17:29
He wasn't hoping for that,
17:31
but he assumed that that was happening.
17:32
And, you know, he was just going to call it good.
17:34
Yeah, it is what it is.
17:35
So now let's get into some detailed thoughts
17:38
about the documentary, What is a Woman?
17:40
So with his question, what is a woman?
17:43
The responses kind of ended up being
17:45
in three different categories, okay?
17:47
The first is that the people were genuinely
17:49
stumped by the question.
17:50
They didn't know how to answer it.
17:53
They didn't know how to think about it.
17:55
Well, here I'll go into each here in a second.
17:57
I'll give you the three categories here.
17:58
So I'll back up.
17:59
They're either genuinely stumped by the question.
18:01
Second, they pretend to be stumped by the question.
18:06
And third, they define woman by using the word woman, okay?
18:11
So now let's go back.
18:12
They're genuinely stumped by the question.
18:13
So these people don't know why it's being asked,
18:15
why it's being framed that way,
18:17
why all of a sudden in an interview,
18:18
that type of a question is hitting them so funny.
18:21
So that's the first group.
18:22
The second group, they pretend to be stumped by the question.
18:24
These are people that are intellectually dishonest.
18:27
They know what a woman is.
18:28
They know it's somebody that basically every chromosome
18:31
in their body is XX.
18:33
They know that it's a person with a vagina,
18:35
and fallopian tubes and ovaries and a uterus and breasts.
18:38
And like that, that is what a woman is, right?
18:40
An adult human female, but they pretend
18:44
to not know the answer to that.
18:45
And then the third category,
18:47
they define woman by using the word woman.
18:49
So you hear these people say, you know,
18:51
he would ask what is a woman?
18:52
They're like anyone that identifies as a woman.
18:55
But you can't use the word in the definition of the word
18:58
because that's what we're trying to define.
19:00
That's circular reasoning, that's circular defining.
19:03
Like you can't use the word to define the word itself.
19:05
It has to, you know, the definition has to exist outside the word.
19:10
Also, another thought is,
19:11
and just being completely neutral here.
19:14
People that support transgenderism, you know,
19:17
as a reality, and they seem,
19:19
these people just seem deeply, deeply illogical, ignorant,
19:24
smug, untrustworthy, in a lot of cases, sometimes evil.
19:28
But people on the other side, like the side that I'm on,
19:31
they seem logical, informed, humble, truthful, moral.
19:36
And again, I try to go into all these things
19:39
and understanding I do have bias towards, you know,
19:41
one side or the other, but it was shocking
19:44
how unbelievably dumb the people that support
19:47
this whole transgender revolution came off as.
19:50
And again, like I use those words specifically,
19:52
illogical, ignorant, smug, untrustworthy, and evil.
19:56
But the other people that were incredibly balanced
19:59
were the people that are just like, no, this is nonsense.
20:01
Like we're not helping people by allowing
20:04
this type of ideology to get out into a wider culture.
20:07
They were operating on logic.
20:09
Information, they were incredibly humble
20:11
with their opinions, but they were standing up for truth.
20:14
And truth comes from a moral basis.
20:15
We get a moral law with which to differentiate
20:18
between good and evil, and that moral law comes from God.
20:22
Now, another thought is, I thought this was
20:24
an interesting shift in the film.
20:25
Again, you have to go watch it.
20:27
You know, I'll put it in the show notes so you can go.
20:28
It's whatisawoman.com so you can go watch it for yourself.
20:31
But about two thirds of the way through the film,
20:34
he gets serious because the first third, you know,
20:36
first half or whatever, it's kind of funny.
20:38
There's a lot of levity and it's just, it's kind of, you know,
20:40
just whatever, right?
20:42
But then he gets serious when he starts discussing Alfred Kinsey,
20:46
who is, you know, basically the godfather
20:48
of this sexualization of children movement,
20:50
and John Money, who is the godfather of the trans movement.
20:53
And so these are both deeply, deeply evil men.
20:56
These are men that you should know more about.
20:58
Again, he talks about it in the film,
20:59
but he goes into much more detail in the book
21:01
about Alfred Kinsey and John Money.
21:03
But this, this might be, you know, as I think about it,
21:06
this might be the main reason why the left is scared
21:08
of this film.
21:10
At least it's one of the main reasons
21:12
because these two men basically used pseudoscience
21:17
to foster this sexualization of children
21:20
and this idea that a child could change their gender,
21:23
that especially John Money, there were these two twin boys
21:27
that, you know, one of them had their,
21:29
their penis was basically burned off during the,
21:32
oh gosh, during the circumcision, right?
21:34
After they were born, and so he got to hold these two kids
21:38
and he was gonna raise the one who circumcision
21:39
did not get messed up, raise him as a boy,
21:42
and then raise the other one as a girl.
21:44
And it had horrific results.
21:46
One of the kids ended up killing himself,
21:48
the other one, you know, overdose, which, you know,
21:50
it's, I guess, kind of a form of suicide.
21:51
I guess the kid knew that his, you know,
21:53
his time was coming up and, you know,
21:54
they did this as adults.
21:56
You know, John Money would put these kids
21:57
in sexual positions and, you know, actually make them,
22:00
you know, act out sexual acts with one another.
22:03
And again, one kid was raised as a girl,
22:05
even though he was a boy and he always kind of rejected that
22:07
and never really felt comfortable.
22:08
But that's where this whole transgender movement comes from.
22:11
And Alfred Kinsey is no better.
22:12
And so again, he goes into more of that detail in the film
22:14
and it's, it's really terrifying.
22:17
Because when you take all these different things
22:18
to bedrock, because again, you know, you'll get this
22:20
where people are like, oh, well, Christians are okay
22:22
with this and Christians are okay with that.
22:23
But if you take it back to the scriptures,
22:26
if you take, you know, the ideology
22:28
that they're espousing back to the gospels,
22:30
you have to say, okay, that person may report
22:31
to be a Christian, but that doesn't jive
22:33
with what Jesus teaches in the New Testament.
22:35
That doesn't jive with the moral law that is given to God
22:38
or given from God rather to humanity, right?
22:41
And so it's like, yeah, you know, you can say
22:43
you're a Christian, but categorically you're not
22:45
because when we go back to bedrock,
22:46
when we go back to the source material,
22:48
it's not the same, but when you go back to the source material
22:51
of the sexualization of children in the trans movement,
22:53
it goes back to some incredibly dark and evil places.
22:56
And the last thought here in terms of, you know,
22:58
really detailed thoughts is towards the end of the film,
23:01
Walsh gets into the social contagion part of this whole thing,
23:05
especially when it's pushed in Hollywood
23:07
and social media and by teachers.
23:09
And that's one of the biggest points here.
23:10
And that's one of the biggest concerns for you guys as kids
23:13
or sorry, as parents that have kids in, you know,
23:16
public schools or places where there may be hearing
23:18
these types of things is in Hollywood,
23:20
we see a push of more trans content, right?
23:23
Especially this Pride Month is the loudest,
23:25
most obnoxious Pride Month, maybe in history.
23:28
But then you see all this on social media.
23:29
There are, you know, social media influencers
23:32
that have millions of followers on Instagram or TikTok
23:34
or, you know, subscribers on YouTube.
23:36
And these are trans people that are encouraging other people
23:39
to become trans.
23:41
And you have teachers that are encouraging children
23:43
to become trans.
23:43
So a girl is kind of, you know, more boyish
23:46
in the things she likes.
23:47
Maybe she likes trucks and the color blue
23:48
and playing baseball and, you know,
23:50
getting her knees all scraped up and rough housing.
23:52
And a teacher is going to take her to the side and say,
23:53
you know what, you might actually be a boy.
23:55
And depending on the state that she's in,
23:57
they might start the transition, right?
23:59
Let's transition them at school,
24:00
give them a different name, you know,
24:02
maybe even get them some different clothes.
24:03
And then let's get them to a doctor who will not,
24:06
you know, basically stop, or you'd be able to stop
24:08
the parents, you know, from them giving her, you know,
24:11
drugs that are going to change her forever.
24:13
It's not going to change her into a boy,
24:14
but they're just going to change her and eradicate
24:16
her ability to maybe have, you know,
24:18
sexual pleasure in the future or have children
24:21
or basically lead a life that isn't just fully,
24:23
full of complications, right?
24:25
But the social contagion aspect is the biggest aspect
24:29
of this because the rates at which people are identifying
24:31
as transgender now are astonishingly high,
24:35
astonishingly high.
24:36
Because what we've always been told is,
24:38
oh, there's always been a ton of trans people,
24:40
but culture and society was way too mean and bigoted
24:42
so they never came out of the closet.
24:44
But it's like, it's not like that was keeping, you know,
24:48
tens of percents higher of people from identifying as trans.
24:52
Like that doesn't, that doesn't jive, that doesn't wash.
24:55
The overall idea is that a lot of kids
24:56
are pretending to be trans or desperately wanting
24:59
to be trans because if you come out as trans,
25:01
you're going to have hundreds of thousands of people
25:03
on social media tell you how brave and courageous you are.
25:07
You're going to have tons of teachers telling you
25:08
how wonderful this is and how they're going to help you.
25:11
And maybe you're kind of a wallflower kid.
25:13
You know, you're not a good athlete,
25:14
you're not a good student, you're just kind of, you know,
25:15
amoebaing your way through school.
25:17
And then all of a sudden you're a hero.
25:19
All of a sudden when they do the little pride parade
25:21
in the hallways at your school,
25:23
you're one of the people at the head of the parade.
25:26
And you've never been the popular kid,
25:27
even though it's always what you wanted,
25:29
even though you would never admit it out loud.
25:31
So without going too much farther down that,
25:33
the social contagion piece of this is very, very important.
25:37
It's something that we really need to think about,
25:39
especially as parents.
25:40
But now we need to get into some of the most memorable
25:42
figures that were in the film, What's a Woman?
25:45
What is a woman?
25:46
So the first memorable figure that we see is Dr. Marcy Bowers.
25:48
So she is the most prolific, I guess,
25:51
gender reassignment surgeon in the United States.
25:53
So I'm using these phrases entitled,
25:56
titles loosely because there's no such thing
25:58
as gender reassignment.
25:59
But she's one of the most prolific reassignment surgeons
26:01
in the United States.
26:02
And she admitted that someone,
26:04
and this was crazy in the film,
26:06
she actually admitted that someone that wanted
26:07
to have their arm cut off,
26:09
'cause Matt Walsh hit her with this,
26:10
because they identified as a disabled person
26:13
may have a psychiatric condition.
26:14
And when Matt Walsh said,
26:16
"Well, wait a minute, you know,
26:18
if there's a person that thinks
26:19
that they should chop off their genitalia
26:21
or chop off healthy breasts in order to,
26:24
you know, think that they are the opposite sex,
26:26
does that person have a psychiatric condition?"
26:28
And the person's like, "Basically like no."
26:30
And this is a person that operates on minors,
26:33
has done operations on minors to remove breast tissue,
26:36
to do fallow plasties by removing,
26:38
you know, pieces and tissue from other parts of the body
26:40
to create this phallic-like thing.
26:42
They basically sow a fake penis on top of the girls vagina
26:45
and, you know, it's a horrific thing.
26:46
So that's Dr. Marcy Bowers.
26:48
Then you have Dr. Michelle Forca.
26:49
So she's maybe the biggest villain in this entire film.
26:53
So she's a sex reassignment pediatrician
26:56
and an abortionist and she has teal hair.
26:58
So that's like the worst trifecta of a person
27:00
maybe on the absolute planet, right?
27:03
But this is the big quote that a lot of people
27:05
are making fun of like, "Oh my gosh, this person is crazy."
27:07
Is Matt Walsh asked her, does a,
27:09
or she asked Matt Walsh like, "Does a chicken cry?
27:12
Does a chicken commit suicide?"
27:13
Because he was basically talking about how
27:15
we don't assign female to female chickens.
27:18
We just observe biologically what they are
27:21
and, you know, they're obviously not a male chicken.
27:23
So they're a female chicken.
27:25
And the person literally responds to us,
27:26
"Does a cry?
27:28
Does a chicken cry?
27:29
Does a chicken commit suicide?"
27:30
It was flabbergasting to hear this woman talk.
27:34
She also said that medical affirmation begins.
27:37
This is a quote from the film.
27:38
"Medical affirmation begins when the patient says
27:41
they're ready for it."
27:43
Again, this is a doctor.
27:44
This is a pediatrician.
27:45
This is someone who works with little children
27:48
saying the medical affirmation
27:49
of what someone purports to say about their gender begins
27:52
when they say they're ready for it.
27:54
So imagine your kids got the flu, right?
27:58
He's seven years old.
27:59
You walk him into the doctor's office
28:01
and the pediatrician, you know,
28:02
does their testing and does all these different things.
28:04
And then they look down at your kid and say,
28:05
"Hey, I know you feel like you had the flu."
28:09
I would like to affirm that,
28:11
but I'm not gonna do that until you're ready for it.
28:13
So I'm gonna withhold treatment until you're ready
28:17
to deal with what you feel inside,
28:20
which is that you have the flu.
28:21
Can you imagine how ridiculous that would be?
28:26
Guys, think about that.
28:28
But that is exactly what people that work in this field,
28:30
which astonishing is even a field right now,
28:33
this is what they're doing and what they're saying.
28:35
Also, this woman, again,
28:36
biggest villain of the film for me,
28:38
she says that you can pause puberty.
28:40
That's what she claims is that,
28:42
oh, you know, if you do puberty blockers
28:44
for these little boys and little girls,
28:45
there are no issues and no negative consequences whatsoever.
28:49
It's just something you can pause.
28:51
As if at the age of 13, you can pause a little girl
28:56
who's developing breasts and developing, you know,
28:57
all these, you know, advancements in her internal,
29:00
whatever that's going on in a little girl.
29:02
And then same thing with a boy, more testosterone,
29:04
hair and weird places and, you know,
29:05
their penis is going wild and all those different things.
29:08
You can just pause that.
29:10
And then pick it up down the road, if you want to.
29:13
As if if a 13 year old says,
29:16
a 13 year old boy says, I'm a girl
29:17
and you hit the pause button, that when they're 21,
29:19
they're like, I've kind of grown out of it.
29:21
I'd like to go through puberty now.
29:23
As a fully grown adult, that you can just hit play again.
29:28
This is what she claims.
29:29
Of course, there's no basis for this,
29:30
but she does claim that.
29:31
And the last thing on her, you know,
29:32
they brought up the chemical Lupron, right?
29:35
This is something that has been given to sex offenders,
29:38
to chemically castrate them.
29:39
It is a castration drug,
29:41
but they're using that in pediatricians like her.
29:43
Again, her name is Dr. Michelle Forca.
29:46
They are giving Lupron to children
29:48
in order to transition them.
29:49
Major air quotes for that, transition them, okay?
29:52
Now, if they can give the same drug
29:54
to fully developed physical adults to castrate them, right?
29:58
You know, sex offenders, pedophiles,
30:00
what do you think this is doing to a child
30:03
who's still in the growth phase of their life, right?
30:06
- Flowing ad bunted on metrics that look great
30:09
until the CFO sees them.
30:10
That's bullspend.
30:11
And marketers are calling it out in dashboard confessions.
30:16
- I remember telling my boss,
30:18
it'll be good for the brand when leads were slow.
30:22
Yeah, it wasn't.
30:24
- Cut the bullspend.
30:25
LinkedIn lets you target by company, job title, and more.
30:28
Advertise on LinkedIn.
30:30
Spend $250 on your first campaign
30:32
and get a $250 credit, go to LinkedIn.com/campaign
30:34
terms the conditions apply.
30:35
- And then there were some other people.
30:38
There's Dr. Patrick Grandska, I believe.
30:40
She's a gender studies professor.
30:42
Or sorry, he, my bad, I misgendered the guy.
30:45
This is an actual biological male
30:46
that identifies as biological male,
30:47
which means such gender apparently.
30:49
But he is a gender studies professor
30:51
at the University of Tennessee.
30:52
And he really got agitated immediately.
30:55
As soon as Matt Walsh started bringing up
30:57
the discussion of truth and reality.
30:59
So again, this is a guy,
31:00
and he's probably the one that talked
31:01
in the most amount of circles.
31:03
He is the atypical college professor.
31:06
And I don't mean in a good way.
31:08
This is a guy who just uses a bunch of words
31:11
when strung together sound, really, really smart,
31:15
until you read them and go, oh, this is nonsense.
31:18
This is a guy that's basically a walking,
31:20
talking to SARS, just throwing words together
31:22
and just kind of, you know, mixing them up in a bowl
31:25
and then just serving them to you.
31:26
And then saying, yeah, see, see how smart I am?
31:28
Look, I wear glasses and I, you know,
31:30
cross my legs at the knee.
31:31
Isn't that neat, right?
31:33
This guy, again, as soon as Matt Walsh started talking
31:36
about truth and all those things, he threatened to get up
31:38
from the interview.
31:39
Again, this is a gender studies professor,
31:41
but he's not any, he's not even has an inkling of interest
31:44
in trying to find the truth, right?
31:46
Then you had Democrat United States representative
31:48
Mark Ticano from California.
31:50
I have no idea who is on this guy's team,
31:53
on his media team, but how they allowed him
31:55
to sit across from Matt Walsh is astonishing.
31:58
Like these people are morons that they allowed this,
32:02
but this is a guy that's a big proponent of the Equality Act,
32:04
which would add sexual orientation
32:06
to the 1960s Civil Rights Act, which is absurd.
32:10
But what was interesting about this interaction
32:12
between him and Matt Walsh, again, Matt Walsh,
32:14
is very deadpan, just asking questions.
32:16
Is you could tell at one point
32:17
that the representative Mark Ticano was like, oh no,
32:21
I don't think this is going the way that I want,
32:22
'cause he starts cutting his eyes to his staff.
32:25
That's off camera, or I'm assuming it's his staff.
32:27
And he starts kind of sort of answering questions
32:31
and keeps looking over at his staff,
32:32
but at one point he goes, okay,
32:33
the interview's over, and he immediately stands up,
32:35
starts taking off his lapel mic and all that.
32:37
And there's kind of one of the famous parts of the film
32:39
is where the guy gets up and walks off.
32:42
And Matt Walsh is like, hey, I just have one more question.
32:44
Like, I just want to know what a woman is,
32:45
and his staff are, Mark Ticano's staff are in the back,
32:47
goes, and you'll never find out, right?
32:49
So that was an abruptly ended interview.
32:51
There's also a trip to Africa,
32:53
where Matt Walsh spent some time with the Maasai tribes.
32:55
So he was just asking them through an interpreter,
32:57
basic questions.
32:58
And the thing was, he was asking them basic questions
33:00
about male and female and gender and roles
33:02
and different things like that.
33:03
He was getting very, very basic answers back, right?
33:06
Which kind of should remind all of us
33:08
that simple wisdom beats intellectual gymnastics every time.
33:13
So go back to that University of Tennessee professor,
33:14
Dr. Patrick Granska or Grazancar, whatever.
33:17
This guy is trying to weave these big webs
33:20
of these crazy theories that are supposed to kind of,
33:23
you know, end up coalescing their way
33:25
into this thing that is cogent and makes sense,
33:27
and it doesn't.
33:29
And, you know, as I was watching the scenes
33:30
with the tribe in Africa, you know,
33:32
there's a really kind of funny and good part.
33:34
I was reminded of this Malcolm Muggerage quote.
33:36
It's an absolutely incredible quote.
33:37
It's part of a much larger quote,
33:39
but it's, we have now educated ourselves
33:41
into a state of complete imbecility.
33:44
I love that quote, that quote could define, you know,
33:47
the age we're living in right now.
33:48
We have now educated ourselves
33:50
into a state of complete imbecility.
33:53
So when you listen to one of these, you know,
33:55
basically gender theologians is what they pretend like they are,
33:58
these individuals have just educated themselves
34:01
or had so many books and written so many papers
34:02
and been padded on the head for this nonsense for so long
34:05
that they become an imbecile and they have no idea.
34:08
And this may not be toothpaste
34:10
that they can ever get back into the two.
34:12
But then we also have Scott, you know, Kelly Nugent, okay?
34:16
So this is, you know, someone who was convinced
34:19
to transition into male.
34:20
This is a biological female named Kelly.
34:22
That was transitioned to convince the transition into male.
34:25
The director of the film and Matt Walsh say
34:27
that Scott Nugent is the hero of the film,
34:29
that she is actually the center point of the film.
34:32
So in this documentary, she goes into the surgeries
34:36
that were performed on her to get her to present as male.
34:39
She gets into the side effects,
34:41
which are absolutely stunning and shocking.
34:45
But she had kind of a couple of main points
34:47
that she said through this.
34:48
The first big point is that medical transition
34:52
is experimental right now.
34:54
And it will remain experimental because you literally,
34:57
unless you can, you know, add wise to every chromosome
34:59
inside of somebody.
35:00
I think there's trillions of chromosomes.
35:01
I don't think it's ever going to be possible, right?
35:04
But it's experimental right now.
35:06
The surgeons that are performing this
35:09
and the pediatricians that are giving these drugs,
35:11
they have no earthly idea what the consequences are right now,
35:15
the things that they're doing, even physically.
35:19
We're not even getting into the mental
35:20
and, you know, societal and cultural side of things.
35:23
Just physically, they have no earthly idea
35:27
what the outcomes of a lot of these things are doing.
35:30
So these children that are getting these procedures
35:32
and getting these drugs done to them right now,
35:33
they're the guinea pigs.
35:34
They are helping them figure out how to make this easier
35:39
for people in the future,
35:40
even though it's not going to actually help them in the future.
35:42
It's just going to be a little bit easier
35:44
without more complications.
35:46
But another big point that was made by Scott Nugent,
35:49
by Herb, is that people stand to make a lot of money
35:52
off transgender revolution, especially children's hospitals.
35:55
Okay, now some of this has been disputed,
35:58
but the surgeries to quote unquote,
36:00
transition these children that is done by, you know,
36:02
four or five different hospitals here in the United States,
36:04
it's about $70,000 and it's not covered by insurance.
36:07
I don't think it's covered by any insurance right now.
36:09
So 70 grand out of pocket to transition your child, right?
36:13
But the complication rate of this just as a sidebar
36:15
is around 67%, which is there any surgery on the planet
36:21
that you would get, if they told you, yeah,
36:23
there's a 67% complication rate and complication makes it sound
36:27
like, oh, you know, it's going to be a little bit hard
36:28
to recover different things like that.
36:30
It's like, no, no, no, 67% chance that it could kill you,
36:33
that you could get a crazy infection
36:34
that's going to, you know, severely shorten your life
36:36
or affect your ability to have a good life.
36:38
A lot of people that have gotten some of these surgeries,
36:40
you know, to mess with their genitalia, you know,
36:42
they basically are constantly dribbling [inaudible] on themselves
36:45
because, you know, their urinary tracts
36:46
don't really work, they're just kind of,
36:48
they're just kind of opening these people up
36:50
and taking a guess at this point.
36:51
But also, there's about 1.3 million in revenue
36:55
that is estimated that pharma gets per trans kid,
37:00
whether it's Lupron or other drugs or something like that,
37:02
1.3 million dollars of revenue per trans kid.
37:06
So guys, you should fully expect for pride months
37:09
to get louder on the trans stuff.
37:10
That big corporations are going to constantly come out there
37:13
and say more and more positive things
37:15
about transitioning children.
37:17
And, you know, we'll get into this when we talk
37:18
about the Fox News stuff because Fox News kind of did something
37:20
here recently where they were basically propagandizing
37:23
on behalf of some of this gender transition nonsense,
37:26
it's happening in kids.
37:27
And again, the most people that sponsor Fox News
37:30
are pharma companies.
37:31
So you can see a direct correlation,
37:33
but I'll get more into that maybe later today
37:34
or maybe tomorrow or something like that.
37:36
Another main character is this Canadian father
37:39
where these Canadian physicians,
37:40
and we never got the person's name
37:41
'cause we had to hide his identity,
37:43
but Canadian physicians can legally administer, you know,
37:45
so-called gender transition drugs to children
37:47
without parental consent.
37:49
Again, Canadians, what are you still doing there?
37:52
You can't stop these things anymore.
37:54
The government's too far gone.
37:55
What are you doing there still?
37:57
But this father spoke out about this nonsense
38:00
that was happening to his child
38:02
that was being transitioned by these, you know,
38:04
Frankenstein, Dr. Frankenstein's up there in Canada.
38:07
And he was arrested for that, fined $30,000
38:10
for misgendering his 13-year-old daughter.
38:13
So he's out on bail.
38:15
He has his trial, I believe, later on this year,
38:16
but he's another kind of a center point of the film.
38:18
And then I just need to throw this person out there as well.
38:20
I think the person's name is, it's not a commie, okay?
38:23
So this is clearly a white guy who is clearly a dude
38:28
that's, you know, transitioned into a woman
38:30
or pretended to transition into a woman
38:31
at some point, transgender.
38:33
But this person said he's wolf-therian, okay?
38:37
Wolf-therian.
38:39
I'm not even gonna try to spell it
38:40
because I did my best just so I wouldn't say
38:42
it's stupid in my notes.
38:43
This person identifies as a wolf.
38:46
So this is a young man who transgendered himself
38:49
into being a woman at some point.
38:51
And then being the big anime fan that he is,
38:54
decided that he was actually a wolf.
38:57
Like, again, this isn't a main character of the film,
38:59
but I bring this person up
39:00
because it just shows the logical outworking
39:03
of this whole identity nonsense
39:05
that you can identify as whatever.
39:08
And I hit people with this.
39:09
I have some interviews coming out later
39:10
and some different things like that
39:11
where I hit people, especially Christians,
39:13
that are all too polite to use someone's chosen pronouns, right?
39:17
So this biological woman that identifies as a male
39:20
and using male pronouns 'cause they're like,
39:21
"Ah, I don't wanna be incendiary
39:22
"and I don't wanna be needlessly offensive."
39:25
But there is no logical stopping of this
39:29
because there are people that are called furries
39:30
that they identify as animals.
39:32
So if I come over to your house and you say,
39:35
"Oh, this is my son.
39:37
"He's a dog.
39:39
"Would you mind getting him some food?
39:40
"I'm not gonna go get him kibble.
39:42
"I'm gonna make him a sandwich and tell him to sit there
39:43
"and stop being an idiot.
39:45
"I'm definitely not gonna take him on a walk."
39:47
There are people that identify as furniture, right?
39:49
But if you identify as a lazy boy recliner,
39:52
I'm definitely not gonna sit on you
39:54
and wait for the handle to pop up
39:56
so my feet can be up in the air.
39:57
Sorry, not doing it.
39:59
I'm not gonna go into that.
40:01
And we can't play into that.
40:03
This is just a little sidebar
40:04
for conservatives and Christians out there.
40:05
Do not play into the transgender nonsense.
40:08
Do not get woke Christians to convince you
40:10
that you're not being loving
40:12
by using their actual pronouns
40:14
that are in concert with their biological sex, okay?
40:19
If they're gonna be so offended that they can't talk to you
40:23
if you refer to them as P or her or whatever,
40:27
which assigns to their actual biological gender,
40:30
that's probably not someone that's worth talking to.
40:32
Or just use their name.
40:34
'Cause I don't care what your name is.
40:36
If you were a born Sam
40:37
and you want me to call you Sally, that's fine.
40:39
I'll call you Sally.
40:40
But again, don't play into the nonsense
40:42
that it's polite or loving to call these people
40:45
by something that is opposite to the truth.
40:48
Because then they're making you a sinner by proxy, okay?
40:51
Don't do it.
40:52
So let me kinda go in to my overall thoughts
40:55
on what is a woman because it really was a fantastic film.
40:58
But I guess some overall thoughts are like,
41:01
people are really dumb.
41:02
People are really, really stupid.
41:05
And many people do not spend any time thinking
41:08
about this issue specifically.
41:11
So I was just talking to a buddy of mine yesterday
41:15
about abortion.
41:16
And he's been doing a lot of thinking about abortion
41:18
'cause of Roe v. Wade stuff.
41:19
And he's a really cerebral guy.
41:21
And he likes to kinda break things down.
41:22
Very engineering minded guy.
41:24
He's actually my foxhole.
41:25
So if you remember me talking about Brandon Beard Rally.
41:28
So I forget what nickname I gave him,
41:30
but I was talking to him about that.
41:32
And I brought up some arguments that he never heard before.
41:34
And I was like, Brandon, the reality is that most people
41:38
don't spend any time thinking about these topics.
41:41
Most people not thought about the abortion topic
41:44
longer than five minutes.
41:45
And then when you talk to them and ask them follow-up questions,
41:49
that's when you really get to bedrock
41:50
on a lot of these different ideologies.
41:52
And that's why it's so important
41:54
to get to bedrock on all these ideologies.
41:55
But it requires people to actually do some thinking.
41:58
So the people that are really, really learned
42:02
in these different subjects,
42:03
they were still really, really dumb.
42:04
But the overwhelming majority of this kind of man
42:06
on the street stuff he did, just going up to talk to people
42:08
on the street, these are just ignorant, ignorant people.
42:11
They've done no thinking about this topic.
42:13
And yet they're willing to hold up a sign
42:15
at the women's march, right?
42:16
So that's kind of an overall thought.
42:18
Another one is Matt Walsh in the Daily Wire
42:21
have gotten quite a bit of criticism for this.
42:23
So Matt Walsh is a Catholic.
42:26
He's a Christian, but at no point in this film,
42:29
do they use any biblical references at all, okay?
42:33
And again, right from the very, very top of this,
42:36
I talked about kind of the most basic one,
42:38
which is Genesis 5.2, male and female,
42:40
he created them and he blessed them
42:42
and named them man when they were created, right?
42:45
And so I think that's very, very important to talk about
42:48
because where is our truth grounded?
42:50
And that's where our truth is grounded.
42:53
And so a lot of people, a lot of prominent people
42:55
have gotten on to Matt Walsh for not making biblical arguments,
42:58
for not bringing it back to the Bible,
42:59
not bringing it back to male and female, he created them, right?
43:04
But to a degree, I understand why D.W. didn't go that route, okay?
43:09
Because culture doesn't care about Christianity, right?
43:11
And this is where we get into sovereignty and God's sovereignty
43:15
and culture and some of those different arguments
43:16
and I'm gonna kind of leave that to the side for now.
43:19
But culture doesn't think the Bible's real.
43:21
Culture doesn't think God's real, right?
43:22
It's a very secular, humanist culture that we live in.
43:25
So you can more easily dismiss a film like this.
43:29
And if you're in the squishy middle,
43:31
you can more easily dismiss a film like this
43:33
if it's based on scripture.
43:35
So being an organization that is not a Christian company
43:38
but a conservative company, they went with the route
43:41
that is like we're gonna try to destroy this ideology.
43:44
We're gonna try to rod it from the inside
43:46
and we're gonna do it by using strictly logic based things, right?
43:51
We're gonna use it strictly in this way.
43:53
So what I've liked there have been some scripture in there.
43:56
Do I think it would have driven a lot of these points home?
43:58
Yes, I do.
43:59
I don't think they needed to avoid this in any way, shape or form.
44:02
But that is what they decided to do, okay?
44:05
So I get it.
44:07
I'm sensitive to those arguments of people
44:09
that said there should have been scripture,
44:10
there should have been, you know, a Judeo-Christian ethic
44:12
kind of put onto this and undergirding all of this,
44:14
but I understand why they didn't go that route.
44:16
I don't necessarily agree with it fully,
44:18
but I do understand it.
44:20
But let's talk a little bit about why
44:21
what is a woman is important.
44:23
We need to talk about that.
44:24
The first thing is obviously something I talked about a lot
44:26
in my show and a lot through this podcast
44:28
is that truth is incredibly important.
44:30
And I mean capital T truth.
44:32
It is incredibly, incredibly important
44:34
because we're getting to a place culturally
44:38
where truth is becoming irrelevant,
44:39
especially when someone asks you a silly question,
44:43
which is, well, what is your truth on that?
44:45
It's like, okay, if we're talking about opinions,
44:47
I always bring up who's the better basketball player,
44:48
Michael Jordan or LeBron James,
44:50
that's an opinion no one can be right.
44:51
But it's not an opinion, it's not my truth
44:54
that Michael Jordan played in the NBA in the 1990s.
44:58
That's either true or it's not.
45:00
And when you try to get people pegged down
45:02
to whether something is capital T true or not,
45:04
they get really, really uncomfortable.
45:06
And that's not a great place for our culture, okay?
45:08
I think there's a lot of concerns for us
45:10
in terms of our American Western,
45:12
greater Western culture.
45:13
Well, and the biggest things is that truth
45:16
is being denigrated.
45:17
Truth is being called bigoted.
45:19
Truth is being called transphobic.
45:20
But truth is incredibly, incredibly important.
45:22
So I'm so glad that they spent a lot of time focusing
45:25
in this documentary, you know,
45:26
when they weren't just trying to entertain us
45:28
on truth itself.
45:30
Also, the reason why what is a woman is important
45:32
is because we are required to protect women.
45:35
A lot of you guys that listen to the show,
45:37
you fancy yourselves, sheep dogs, or at least, you know,
45:40
you see yourself as a protector of the women
45:42
that are in your life.
45:44
And this is a way that we protect women.
45:46
So one way to protect women is by keeping men
45:49
out of their bathrooms.
45:50
Because sexual assault by a male in a female restroom,
45:55
the odds of it only go up if you allow biological males
45:57
in a female restroom.
45:59
Because duh, because basic common sense, right?
46:03
So we need to protect our women also.
46:05
We need to protect our women and girls
46:07
in terms of their responsibilities, right?
46:09
And the things that they want to do,
46:10
but also their ability to compete.
46:12
So when you have biological males going into their sports
46:16
and stealing medals from them,
46:18
stealing scholarship opportunities from them,
46:20
stealing opportunities from them to create memories
46:22
of glory where they, you know,
46:24
we're on the podium or something like that.
46:25
Or any of those things that we've talked about
46:27
on the show before, regardless of the sport,
46:29
that is not helpful to women.
46:31
Like there are people that are thinking
46:33
within the next five to 10 years
46:35
that women's sports will not even exist anymore.
46:38
There will be men's sports and then trans sports.
46:42
Because again, if more and more young people
46:44
start to identify as trans and more and more young boys
46:47
think that they're young girls and start playing girls sports
46:49
and they're in school districts
46:51
that allow for that nonsense,
46:53
where will the women's sports be?
46:55
There have been people that have actually suggested
46:57
and I think this is a stupid suggestion.
46:58
There should be men's sports, biological men's sports,
47:01
biological women's sports, and then a trans league.
47:04
But I think that's dumb.
47:04
We shouldn't even give them that as an option.
47:07
You should play the sport that aligns
47:09
with your biological sex.
47:11
It's just that simple.
47:13
But just like we are required to protect women,
47:15
we are also required to protect children, okay?
47:18
Again, as I talked about earlier,
47:19
these trans children, which isn't even a real thing,
47:23
they're lab rats.
47:25
So in your politeness, conservative Christian,
47:28
in your politeness, you might be tut-tutting people
47:31
or kind of clapping along and whistling past the graveyard
47:35
as they're marching children to the gallows
47:38
of one of these pharmaceutical companies
47:41
or one of these pediatricians or one of these surgeons
47:44
that think, yeah, we can fix you.
47:46
That no, you're not just a masculine little girl
47:50
or a feminine little boy.
47:51
You are actually the opposite sex.
47:53
So let's change that for you, right?
47:56
We have to stand up against that.
47:59
Again, we're here to equipment to push back darkness.
48:02
What is more dark than this revolution
48:04
that's happening with children, okay?
48:06
Because here's the other thing that I just kind of realized
48:08
as I was watching the film,
48:10
is kids just can't be weird anymore.
48:13
They have to be LGBTQIA+, right?
48:17
Remember, all of us grew up with weird kids.
48:19
Some of us were the weird kids
48:21
at different points in our life.
48:23
But again, you can't just be a weird kid.
48:25
You can't just be a wallflower.
48:26
You can't just be a non-athlete.
48:27
You can't just be a bad student.
48:29
You have to be LGBTQ.
48:31
You have to be queer questioning.
48:32
The only way that you were able to get acceptance
48:35
is if you put a rod through your nose,
48:36
dye your hair color and say,
48:37
"No, I used to be this, now I'm this, now."
48:40
Right?
48:41
That is a shocking thing that we've allowed in our culture.
48:44
And that's not protecting children either.
48:47
And so I look at these future conversations
48:49
that I plan to have with James and Squish
48:51
when it comes to stuff like this is,
48:52
how I'm gonna teach them to love these kids
48:54
that are very, very confused,
48:56
that may have evil confused parents,
48:59
these parents that just wanna carry around a trans kid
49:01
as if it's an accessory on their bracelet or something like that.
49:05
It's munchausen by proxy for a lot of these kids.
49:08
You've heard a lot of people say that.
49:10
It is very, very important that I show my sons
49:13
how they can love on those people
49:14
in a way that Christ would love on those people.
49:16
But also to tell them that what they're doing
49:19
is sinful and not true.
49:20
Someone in this whole scenario, sin is driving this.
49:24
This is a bastardization of something that God gave us
49:28
which was maleness and femaleness.
49:31
So we have to protect our women
49:32
and we have to protect our children, okay?
49:35
And the other reason I get, and the last reason here
49:37
that I'll talk about in terms of why
49:39
what is a woman is important
49:40
is because it is equipping us to push back darkness.
49:43
It's equipping all of us to push back darkness.
49:45
'Cause again, part of the reason why I talk about
49:47
the things I talk about on the show,
49:48
'cause there's a lot of people in this Christian men's space,
49:50
all they do is theological talk.
49:51
All they do is Bible talk and all that.
49:53
And those are great resources.
49:54
And I think you guys should take in that material.
49:56
Absolutely.
49:57
But then where a lot of those things fall short
49:59
is you have no idea how to apply that scripture
50:01
to everyday life in the place where you live.
50:04
So you wanna get mad and go down and scream
50:06
about critical race theory that's in your kid's classroom
50:09
and yet you have no idea how to fight against that.
50:11
I talk about it all the time.
50:12
And again, if you're trying to push back
50:13
against this transgender nonsense,
50:15
whether you're in a purple state
50:17
that's trying to figure out where should we go on this,
50:19
should we keep boys out of girls' bathrooms,
50:21
should we keep boys out of girls' sports
50:22
and all those different things,
50:23
you have to be equipped to have these arguments.
50:26
You have to be equipped with the knowledge
50:28
about where these ideologies come from,
50:30
these evil pits of hell that these arguments come from
50:33
and these ideologies come from,
50:35
or you're not gonna be able to push back effectively.
50:37
'Cause if you just go in front of the school board
50:39
and read through Genesis,
50:41
it's not gonna have the intended effect
50:42
that I think you do.
50:43
And I'm not saying that scripture isn't sufficient
50:46
for this situation.
50:47
What I am saying is that you need to apply the scripture
50:50
in a way that can affect public policy
50:53
so that darkness can be pushed back,
50:55
so that you can be equipped with the knowledge
50:58
in order to push back that darkness.
51:01
So I'm gonna wrap up here with my rating.
51:03
We are not gonna be able to get to the quick hitter,
51:05
so I'll be able to get that to you hopefully later on.
51:06
So you guys got a bonus episode.
51:08
So again, don't ever say I never did anything for you.
51:10
But if I were IMDB, Internet Movie Database,
51:14
I would give this a nine and a half out of 10.
51:16
And the reason why I'm not giving it full 10, right?
51:19
10 out of 10.
51:20
A couple of things kind of were a little odd to me
51:22
in the film.
51:23
So Scott Nugent, Kelly Nugent,
51:26
who's the hero of the film at one point starts crying.
51:30
And I'm pretty sure they were crocodile tears.
51:34
I do not think, I think that she was trying
51:37
to gin up emotion that wasn't really there.
51:40
And they kind of elevated the music
51:42
in that part of the documentary.
51:43
And you know, music is used as a manipulator,
51:45
whether it's, you know, in a documentary
51:47
or a worship set or something like that.
51:48
It's always used to kind of manipulate your emotions.
51:50
And I didn't really buy the tears.
51:52
And the thing was, Scott didn't need to produce any tears.
51:56
Like what she was talking about was astonishing, right?
52:01
And something that needs to get out to more and more people.
52:03
So the crocodile tears were just not necessary.
52:06
So I thought that was a little odd.
52:07
And also, I didn't feel like there was a big black
52:10
and white distinction made in the film
52:12
between sex and gender.
52:13
Because that's a big thing, these proponents of this ideology,
52:16
they say sex and gender are different.
52:18
But I don't think that Matt Walsh
52:19
and you know, the people that made the film
52:21
really made that distinction super duper well.
52:23
So that's the only reason why I'm dawking at a half a point
52:26
on my fully made up IMDB scale.
52:28
But if I was doing this on rotten tomatoes,
52:30
I don't really know if you do,
52:31
if you give it a fresh or a yes or a thumbs up,
52:33
but this would get thumbs up.
52:34
And so all you kids out there,
52:36
all you sissel and ebert kids from the 90s,
52:39
you're watching films in the 90s.
52:41
I would give this two thumbs up.
52:42

52:51
just like I told you, we're gonna get into that maybe later
52:54
