I mean, I met Undaunted Life fans that were from I mean, here we are in Florida and that we were in they were from Maine and from Michigan and from Alaska and from Washington. Trump spearheading the end of the war in Gaza in the return of all Israeli hostages. Candace Owens directly accuses and accusing the Trump administration of assaulting Charlie Kirk. A convicted child murderer being freed after serving less than 10 years in prison. Chip and Joanna Gains continuing to prove that they should not be admired by Christians anymore. And then we've had an entire segment now. Uh it's going to be called Islam is not compatible with the West. All right. So we're going to talk about Iraq lowering the age of consent for girls to marry to 9 years old. Somalia voting to allow child marriage and the United States somehow allowing for an American city to be controlled almost exclusively by Muslims. Pope Leo saying you cannot simultaneously be pro-life and pro-death penalty, allowing for a Muslim prayer room in the Vatican. And then praying for a block of ice. Yep. And then transgender identification plummeting among American college students. Christianity today taking more than a million dollars from proabortion foundations. The who planned to kill Brett Kalana being sentenced to only 8 years in prison. Show Otani delivering the greatest single game performance in the history of Major League Baseball. It's going to be a long one, but before we get to any of that, I've got some exciting breaking news. Okay, so I've had some really, really cool opportunities in my career. Y'all are the best. But let's go ahead and get into the main subject for today. So, I want to go all the way back in the wayback machine to early September when Charlie Kirk was assassinated by a gay man with a furry lover. And do you remember how Christians and political conservatives responded? I mean, they went to church, they held prayer vigils, they read their Bibles, they bought their Bibles for the first time. That that's how Christians and conservatives responded. And do you remember how many liberals and leftists responded? They openly celebrated the murder of someone they disagreed with politically like cackling demons, right? But I just want you to remember because obviously it was really, really long time ago. I want you to remember the sense of unity that Christians felt after Charlie was killed. Okay? Because there was this time period which we since have realized was very fleeting where Christians and conservatives, capital C Christians and capital C conservatives of all stripes seemingly were united in several things. One, saying that Charlie's assassination was an act of grave evil. That's easy to say. Two, that evil has to be pushed back. It doesn't push itself back. And then three, Christians must unite. There are theological differences. There are differences in how the worship service should be constructed. There are differences in, you know, preferred sizes of churches, preferred styles of music, styles of preaching, all those things. But Christians, capital C, Christians should and must unite. Well, apparently that wasn't the case at David Platt's church, at least not for very long. So, most people know who David Platt is because a lot of you here listening to this are Christians. If you're not a Christian, we're so glad that you're here listening to this. But let me give you some background on who David Platt is. So he is a very very famous pastor. He was actually once the youngest megaurch pastor in the United States. He's the former president of the International Mission Board and he's also the author of a big-time bestselling book called Radical that was released back in 2010. I'm sure a lot of you have read that. And he is the former lead pastor of MLAN Bible Church. So I say former lead pastor and teaching pastor because the lead teaching pastor at MLAN Bible Church now is someone named Mike Kelsey. Okay. He was apparently David Platt's handpicked successor to be the main teaching pastor at MLAN Bible Church or M N M N M N M N M N M N M N M N M N M N MC. Okay. Now, I don't have time today to get into all the allegations and and the details, but there was certainly a scandal that occurred with Kelsey's hiring rights. So, members of the church alleged that the church changed the voting rules so that Kelsey could be made the lead teaching pastor without incident or questioning. There were accusations of tokenism by Platt in his handpicking of Kelsey. These same members said that David Platt and subsequently Mike Kelsey were taking the church in a much more left liberal woke direction. So y'all can actually do your own research and come to your own conclusions on all of that because that's not the main point of what I want to get to today even though it will come up a little bit later. We have so many quick hitters to hit. But since taking over though, Mike Kelsey has seemed to go along with what many would consider to be woke ideologies. Okay? So, he did a sermon called What Justice Requires, where he made his case for reparations to black Americans, somehow using Nehemiah 5 to justify that. He said in a podcast interview that black people in America have been struggling since George Floyd died. And he made this really insane statement. He said that it was difficult. This is him. Quote, "Now, difficult for me sometimes not to just torch all white people and particularly white evangelicals and Christians." I mean, even in context, that was a pretty yikes quote. And also he joined kind of the do better crowd by claiming in a recent sermon, I think it was actually this this month or last month, that Christians need to be more uh protective or they need to do more to quote unquote protect trans people as if Christians are the ones going out and hunting these people down. I I don't exactly know what he means by that, but I want to focus in on a clip from a sermon that he did after Charlie Kirk was assassinated. Okay, so this is from his September the 28th sermon called God's Good Design for Humanity, part two, where he's going over Genesis 126. And so we're going to be coming in and out of a lot of different clips from this particular sermon clip. The entire sermon is in the show notes. So if you want to accuse me of taking things out of context or selectively editing, it's right there for you. I got none to nothing to hide. So let's go to the first clip here. And so I had to sit with my high school daughter to help her process the ungodly and inhumane reactions of other students around her. Nobody should have seen that video and laughed. Okay, so far so good. So he seems like a good, beautiful dad. Like he's kind of seeing that there might be some issues here and so he's like, you know, sensitive to that. He seems to castigate people that would laugh at the murder of a person that they disagree with politically, right? So, so far so good. Let's get back into the clip here. >> But I also had to sit with my high school daughter and help her process some of the things Charlie Kirk said. >> Amen. >> Yes. >> Okay. So you can tell there that this is a big tone change because he gets real breathy and real labored in his delivery, right? So he's kind of signaling and then he said that he had to help his daughter process quote some of the things that Charlie Kirk said. And so then there was a a loud amen from at least one guy and then the applause of the congregation. Right? So, if you're an astute viewer of the sermon content or listener of the sermon content, you know that Kelsey is doing something that any good presenter would do, and that's signposting. Okay? So, you're indicating what is coming next, right? You're kind of foreshadowing in your speech. And in this case, it would follow that Mike Kelsey would be describing the things that Charlie Kirk said that made him so concerned that he needed to discuss them with his daughter to help her process. So, back to the clip here. >> There's some rhetoric from Charlie Kirk that followers of Jesus should firmly denounce. >> Amen. >> He listen. >> He says some things clearly and unapologetically true from a biblical perspective. >> Amen. >> And I know there were some clips that were taken out of context. I understand what it's like to have that happen to you. >> It's probably going to happen today after this message. >> We love you. love you too. But y'all, I was getting bombarded by so many questions over the last couple of weeks and quite frankly bombarded by so many unsolicited opinions. And so I spent hours hours just watching long form debates, interviews speeches and just to be frank, in a lot of cases the context didn't help at all. Okay, so he said that Charlie Kirk used rhetoric that Christians should denounce. And I mean, that sounds pretty serious, right? Denunciation is a serious thing that that we're called to do. And he said that he spent hours researching Charlie Kirk clips. I mean, hours. Like, he didn't just see one thing on TikTok and watch it for 60 seconds and then move on. spent hours, his words, looking at these clips, right? So, I mean, [clears throat] this is sounding pretty severe. He basically debunks the claim by Charlie Kirk supporters that we've heard a lot over the last, you know, several weeks that some of Charlie's bad sounding clips were actually taken out of context. So, Kelsey's basically dispensing with that from from the get-go. And Kelsey said that the context didn't help, which is a direct implication that the context actually made Charlie's rhetoric worse. Right? So, let's keep going. In fact, in some cases, I was shocked that so many professing Christians were rationalizing things that were so demeaning and uncristlike. And not just rationalizing things he said, but idolizing him as the prototype for a new generation of Christians. And here's my point in all of that. This is not just Charlie Kirk. This is all of us. Every single one of us is tempted to talk to or about people in ways that not only dishonor them, but the God who created them in his image. >> Amen. >> Yeah. Clap and incriminate yourself. Yeah. It's true of all of us >> and it's true as we think about other issues too. >> So, man, now he's going after other Christians for rationalizing the horrible rhetoric that Charlie Kirk spewed and, you know, for his words, idolizing Charlie Kirk as an example to the next generation, right? And then Kelsey says that we're dishonoring ourselves and creator God by saying the things that we say specifically about Charlie Kirk. I mean I mean he's cooking now, right? I mean he's really getting us revved up. Like he's got to be going somewhere with this obviously. And man, like I'm getting excited. Like I'm I'm curious. What have I missed? like I'm ready as a Christian as he says to denounce what Charlie Kirk has said. So, let's keep going. >> In fact, a couple of weeks ago when we briefly mentioned Charlie Kirk's assassination and we prayed I had to process with so many people. One woman that I know well in our congregation, a Latina woman who when we mentioned Charlie Kirk, she wept. and not because she's thought we shouldn't, but because what it raised for her as a Latino woman who works in social work here in the DMV area, what it raised for her is, man, I've been sitting in this church through all of these immigration issues that directly affect me, directly affect my family, directly affect so many of the people that I serve in my career, and I haven't heard it meaningfully addressed. rest in my own search for him. >> Okay, so no examples of the rhetoric yet, but I'm sure he's going to get there. But here's an anecdote about a Latina woman in the church. I'm actually kind of shocked he didn't say Latinx and how she individually felt about the mention of Charlie Kirk's name. You know, it kind of smacks of standpoint epistemology for sure. like, okay, she understands knowledge and truth because of her standpoint as a Latina woman. So, it kind of seems like a weird detour in kind of what he was building towards, but you know, we just kind of need to keep going because we've got to get to the horrible rhetoric that Charlie used, right? I mean, all this is just set up for the payoff. So, let's get back into it here. And so, let me say this. It's one thing to disagree on immigration policy. It's another thing to talk about and treat immigrants in ignorant and derogatory ways. [applause] >> Okay. The obvious implication here is that Charlie Kirk has expressed horrible rhetoric in general and specifically has talked about immigrants in derogatory ways. So derogatory just means that you know you talk about someone in a belittling way, in a disparaging way, in a denigrating way. It's it's really really bad and Christians shouldn't do that, right? and he implied that Charlie Kirk is ignorant in how he talks about immigration and immigrants as well. So, let's have some of the receipts, Pastor Mike. Oh, wait. Was that the end of the clip? Because it actually was. That's the end of the clip. Now, that's not the end of the sermon. Again, I put the entire thing in the show notes for you. There's about 15 or 20 more minutes left in the sermon. Now, I'm saving you, you can thank me later, from having to watch the rest of it, but I do want you to watch it for yourself. And if you watch the rest of the sermon, you'll notice that Pastor Mike Kelsey provides zero examples of the supposedly horrible things that Charlie Kirk said that made him have to help his daughter process. Pastor Mike Kelsey provides zero examples of the supposedly dangerous rhetoric of Charlie Kirk that Christians should denounce. Pastor Mike Kelsey provides zero examples of the ignorant and derogatory rhetoric that Charlie Kirk supposedly expressed towards immigrants. None. Not a single example. all this setup of the rhetoric and all the things. Oh gosh, he just had to like hold his daughter's hand and help process nothing. Nothing. In fact, if you watch through the end of the sermon, it's kind of hard to surmise that Pastor Mike Kelsey had a grand point to make whatsoever. So, he just goes from random point to random point, from anecdote to anecdote, but he never satisfies the signpost, his own signpost. He never ever even comes close to backing up his own claims about the supposedly problematic Charlie Kirk. So, is Mike Kelsey just a crappy writer and ortor? I mean, in my opinion, no. I don't think he is. He seems to be a good speaker and a smart guy. Good cadence, right? Seems to be experienced. So, that's not it. So, did Mike Kelsey just take a shot and just so happened to miss? Like I don't think so either in my opinion. Did Mike Kelsey just forget his points in the middle of talking? I mean I've definitely done that before. I've done so on stage, right? I'm in the middle of a point and I forget the point. I'm like, "Oh shoot, what am I going to do?" But in my opinion, no. That's not what happened here with Pastor Mike Kelsey. I think that Mike Kelsey actually accomplished what he set out to accomplish, which is to get a nice little pat on the head from our atheistic demonic culture. He got the applause of the sheep, right? Just a reminder, sheep are some of the dumbest animals in existence for what it's worth. But I digress. He got the applause of our left-leaning atheistic demonic culture by castigating and disparaging a great Christian conservative thought leader. And he got the applause of progressive Christians for his nuanced view of the complicated figure known as Charlie Kirk. He got all of that. And he accomplished all of that without having to show a single receipt. Incredible. But need I remind you this is exactly how the left operates. They make a grandiose claim. They are asked politely to back up that claim with evidence. They ignore the request for evidence and then they just respond by calling the questioner a name. Typically racist, sexist bigot islamophobe homophobe fascist Nazi hater etc. etc. etc. Now, Mike Kelsey didn't call anyone names publicly to my knowledge, but Mike Kelsey is a pastor of a mega church. He was handpicked to have that position. He's a presenter of the gospel of Jesus. And he's also supposedly a defender of capital T truth. And yet he made a horrific public accusation directly of a man that is not alive to defend himself and he provided zero evidence to back up his truth claims. It's intellectual cowardice at best. Now to be clear, I don't think that this behavior from Mike Kelsey is disqualifying for him as a pastor. I mean I think it's egregious. I think it's wildly inappropriate. And considering our current political and cultural climate, I think it's incredibly dangerous. But he's not disqualified as a pastor. But it does beg the question, what kind of mindset and worldview would lead someone to communicate in this way as a lead pastor of a huge church? So my contention is that the woke mind virus infected David Platt. It infected his judgment. It caused him to handpick his successor. And it caused him to handpick a successor that seems to be more concerned about cultural justice and equality and not nearly as concerned about capital T truth. I'm not claiming that he's not a man of the gospel. I'm not claiming that he doesn't take the gospel seriously, but my goodness, he keeps stepping it on the cultural justice and equality side. So David Platt and Mike Kelsey didn't cause the woke shift in many churches today to be sure, but they are a symptom of the rot that comes from this ideology. And let me remind you, the devil prowls around like a roaring lion seeking someone to devour. 1 Peter 5'8. And comes only to steal and kill and destroy. John 10:10. So wokeness and critical theory and critical race theory and feminism and progressivism and you know there are elements of it that seem good. They seem really really nice, really appropriate. That's why they're so enticing, right? Go back to the scripture that I read at the top of the show, though in 2 Corinthians 11. For even Satan disguises himself as an angel of light. But don't be fooled. All of these ideologies and worldviews come from the pits of hell, even if they seem righteous, even if they seem nice and appropriate. So the more that we allow for famous pastors with large platforms to sneak these ideologies into our churches, the wider we open the door for the lion that seeks to demolish us. Hey guys, real quick. All right, we got a lot of work to do on the quick hitters today, so let's get into it. Former pastor Robert Morris confesses to being a pedophile but escaping justice. Now, I actually covered this case extensively on episode 735. at episode 735 of this podcast. So if you want my deeper commentary, I direct you there cuz we got to be quick today. This is according to the Christian Post on October the 2nd. Robert Morris, the founder of Gateway Church in South Lake, Texas, was punished with a six-month prison term and a 10-year suspended sentence after pleading guilty Thursday to sexually abusing the now 55-year-old Cindy Clemenire beginning when she was 12 years old in the 1980s. In addition to his six-month jail term and a 10-year suspended sentence, Morris will also have to pay $270,000 in restitution and register as a sex offender. He simply accepted responsibility for his crime from the mid1 1980s and plead guilty. He plead guilty because he wanted to accept responsibility for his conduct. While he believes that he long since accepted responsibility in the eyes of God and that Gateway Church was a manifestation of that acceptance, he readily accepted responsibility in the eyes of the law by virtue of his guilty plea. Morris's lawyer, Bill Matea, said in a statement after the hearing in Osage County Court, Oklahoma. He also plead guilty for the sake of finality. Not only did he want to bring this legal matter to a quick end and for his own sake and that of his family, he brought it to a quick end for the sake of Miss Clemenshshire and her family. And he sincerely hopes that this plea and jail sentence coupled with probation brings Miss Clemenshshire and her family the finality that they might need. Well, gosh, isn't that so nice of Robert Morris? Oh, he just wanted this to be a nice and and quick process so Miss Clemenshshire could maybe have some healing in her mid-50s from when he raped her in the 1980s when she was 12 years old. Thank you so much, Robert Morris. We really, really appreciate how much you're thinking of not yourself seemingly for once. So my big takeaway on this one, if we lived in a just society, Robert Morris would be hanging from a tree right now. But we don't. So I guess the going rate for the punishment of raping a child is just six months in prison. Six months in prison, few hundred,000 bucks. Let's make this go over a little bit more smoothly, right? he can get back to, you know, doing some things. He'll spend his six months in prison. He'll probably take a year or two off to kind of let everything blow over. And then he'll probably release a book about what he learned while he was in prison. And a major Christian publisher will pick it up. And then he'll learn about, you know, we'll get to learn about what he felt about himself. And oh, and how he actually kind of did some some service in prison. And he learns some even more about himself. And oh, and now he's going to be uh like a lot of major pastors now, he's going to be a leadership guru. and he's going to teach other people about how you can learn from doing horrible, awful things. But make no mistake, Robert Morris escaped justice in terms of this planet. Now, I pray that Robert Morris is actually a Christian because even for our worst enemies, we should pray that they receive the grace of Christ. And I don't know him personally, so I can't really judge his fruit, right? I hope he's a Christian. And the blood of Christ certainly covers this sin as it covers any sin. But in this particular situation as it pertains on this earth, this does not feel good, right? 6 months in prison. And for any of you that are like trying to default to maybe defending Robert Morris, what if it was your 12-year-old? What if it was your 12-year-old daughter that Robert Morris, the predator, was sneaking into her room at night after you welcomed him into your home? Sneaking into your daughter's room so that he could rape her. Does that change your perspective? Probably should. All right, next quick hitter here. The fatal stabbing of Ukrainian refugee Arena Zerutska by a man with 14 prior arrest. So this story seemed like it happened a year ago, but that's just the nature of the news cycle because I was, you know, getting ready to really talk about this and then Charlie Kirk was assassinated. So it kind of had to be on the shelf for a little bit. But this is according to the Daily Wire on September the 8th. The brutal murder of a 23-year-old Ukrainian refugee on a North Carolina bus has become a flash point in national discussions about urban safety with President Donald Trump weighing in on the tragedy. I give my love and hope to the family of the young woman who was stabbed in Charlotte by a mad man, a lunatic, Trump said in a speech at the Museum of the Bible on Monday. Just viciously stabbed, she's just sitting there. There are evil people. There are evil people, the president added. We have to be able to handle that. If we don't handle that, we don't have a country. The victim, Arena Zerutska, came to the United States in 2022. She was returning from her job at a local pizzeria when D. Carlos Brown stabbed her repeatedly in the neck. Brown had a lengthy criminal history, including at least 14 prior arrests for offenses such as armed robbery and assault with a deadly weapon. Despite serving 5 years for the robbery, most of his other cases resulted in time served probation or community service. So, everyone has seen the video pretty much at this point. You see Arena Zeruska basically getting on the bus. She sits unfortunately for her right in front of this man. She's paying attention to her phone. He pulls out a knife, stands up, and stabs her three times in the throat. Uh she looks up at him like completely shocked. That that image is just burned into my brain. And then she slowly starts to bleed out. We don't see a single person on the train try to help her or confront him. They all just froze, including supposed men that were on that train. And so he was able to walk away from that. But before he did, this was heard by the witnesses that were doing nothing and also heard on the security camera, the severely under reportported comment that he made after he murdered this woman. I got that white girl. I got that white girl. Now, it's almost uh exercise in futility to even mention this, but let's obviously just switch the races. There's a white man on the train, right? And then a young black girl, beautiful young black girl, just gets on the train after her shift at the pizzeria. She's still got her uniform on. She's just trying to like update social media, see what's going on. And a white man stands up with a knife, stabs this black girl in the throat three times. Nobody confronts him. He walks around with blood dripping from his from his hands after he just murdered somebody and goes, "I got that black girl. I got that black girl." That would be the only story the mainstream media and the leftist media would be covering. The only one. But for some of you, that's breaking news to you that you knew this girl was murdered. I think everybody has seen that news report. But did you know that he said, "I got that white girl. I got that white girl. Did you know that?" So, big takeaway on this one. I have a new law proposal for the entire country. So, hear me out. If you're arrested and convicted of misdemeanor crimes five times, you automatically get life in prison. And if you're arrested and convicted of felony crimes three times, you automatically get life in prison. Deal? Like as a minimum, right? Because obviously if your felony crime is like murder, child molestation, like those types of things, you should just be, you know, killed. But life in prison at a minimum, what's the argument against it? Because look, if you do so many crimes, because again, this guy, he was arrested 14 times and convicted, right? He he was convicted of all these crimes. He literally did all these crimes and yet he was continued to be let out on the street by these left-wing Democrat district attorneys and judges and people like that. So what? Five times. Is that fair? six, seven times. How many crimes does someone have to commit before we say, "Yeah, you just don't get to be a part of society anymore." Okay? Because people have this really jacked up view of what prison's supposed to be, right? Some people think it's it's to rehabilitate people, and to a degree, it's that, but it's a punishment place. That's what it is. But even more than that, it is a place we can put animals like this guy to keep them away from the rest of society. It's where we put the wolves because there aren't enough sheep dogs out there to protect all of the sheep. So, we got to have a place where we can take the wolves and lock them up with the other wolves, right? That's what prison's supposed to be. And that's exactly where this person was supposed to be. And yet they weren't. They were allowed to roam the streets. And you can talk to me about mental illness and all these different things, and I'm sure that comes into play here, but at the same time, if you're so mentally ill that you can't stop committing crimes, why would that be an argument for you being free? Okay, get your mental illness training or treatment or whatever in prison or when you're in prison, again, this is a not a rehabilitation facility. It is a protection facility for the rest of humanity, right? So, there's got to be something that changes. But, you know, here I feel like I'm just screaming into the void because we obviously know nothing really is going to change. We're going to continue to see these wolves preying on sheep all over the place, which is another good example and another good reason for you guys to be trained yourself. Pretend as if help is never on the way. You are your first line of defense. Do not outsource your violence to the government because they may not be coming and if they are coming, they're probably going to be late. All right, next quicker here. Trump spearheading the end of the war in Gaza in the return of all the Israeli hostages. So this is according to CBS News on October the 13th. Israel and Hamas moved ahead with crucial steps of the Gaza peace plan on Monday as Hamas released all the 20 of the remaining hostages and Israel released Palestinian prisoners and detainees. President Trump delivered remarks in the Israeli Knesset, the country's parliament. After arriving in the country on Monday at the summit later on Monday in Egypt, he ha he and other world leaders signed a document to inaugurate the US brokered plan to end the war in Gaza. Israel released nearly 2,000 Palestinian prisoners and detainees on Monday as part of the ceasefire agreement in exchange for the return of the Israeli hostages. They included 250 people who were serving life sentences and about 1,700 others who have been detained and held without charges since the October 7th, 2023 terrorist attack. The remains of four deceased Israeli hostages were returned to Israel on Monday. However, 24 others still have yet to be returned. President Trump said not all of their bodies have been found and recovered. Aid began flowing back into Gaza following the ceasefire between Israel and Hamas that went into effect on Friday. Israel has compelled or has completed a pullback of its troops to a pre-approved line in the Palestinian territory. The peace remains fragile and major questions over what comes next are unanswered. So, I just want to kind of double down on that last point. Yes, the peace remains fragile because Hamas has to disarm. And as Trump has already signaled, if Hamas refuses to disarm, they will be disarmed. So he stopped short of saying American boots will be on the ground, but he is going to leverage other partners in the Middle East to go in there and basically do the bidding of the United States and of Israel to disarm Hamas if they don't do it willingly. So I think a lot's been made of this. Maybe not enough has been made of this, but the absolute inequity of what Israel gave up in order to get back their hostages and in some cases just to get back the remains of their hostages. Because I mean, it's 2,000 people that are terrorists andor terrorist sympathizers that are going right back onto the battlefield, right? Because even if the war is over, the battle's certainly not over. More on that in a second. And I think there's an actual difference here because I've seen videos of the joy felt from Jewish families getting their hostage loved ones back and I've seen videos of Gazin families getting their terrorist loved ones back. And man, there's a tremendous difference in that joy, right? Because the Jewish families are just so glad to have these people back after two years. Whereas the Gazin families typically are so glad to have their little terrorists back so that they can clean them up, feed them, and send them right back out to the battlefield where hopefully they can die via jihad for Allah. These are not the same kinds of people, right? They all need Christ, but these are not the same people on a moral field. And also I I just think this is very interesting. People have been screaming at the heavens about the genocide, the supposed genocide going on in Gaza, and they needed an end to this genocide. But where are those people now? I can't find them. I don't hear their voices anywhere. Where are all the in the genocide people? Because if the war is over and if Israel has to leave the area, doesn't the genocide end, right? Because again, this never was a genocide, right? Not even close. You have Israel doing these pin prick attacks and going doortodoor like losing soldiers every single day to to injury or wounds or death, right? When they could just carpet bomb the entire area and be done with it. That would be a genocide. Okay? But all these in the genocide people, they don't really seem to be talking very much right now. And that's so interesting. So, let's go to my big takeaways here on this one. First one, peace through strength actually works. How about that? Right? It at least works temporarily. Okay? Temporarily. Because no one actually believes that there's going to be a long-standing peace between these two parties. But at least for right now, Trump's basically like I saw a meme where it was like, you know, Hamas was on the phone with Joe Biden and they were on the phone with, you know, uh, Barack Obama and they're basically like, "Hey, if you do anything, we're going to get mad. Like, we're going to we're going to get really really mad at you." And then Biden and and Obama are like, "Okay, what do you want?" And Trump's basically like, "Hey, if you don't do what I do, I'm going to kill all of you." And it's like, "Okay, what can we do for you?" Right? So, it actually does work diplomatically. Another big takeaway here is that Trump is the most positively consequential United States president since Reagan. It's not even close. Like I I I don't even want to hear Well, I'll listen to your argument, but what is the argument for anybody else since Reagan? Because obviously Reagan during the Cold War, you know, tear down this wall, like all all these different things that Reagan did incredibly consequential for the entire planet. Trump is at now. Like this is just another in a long string of peace talks and wars that Trump has basically ended without having to fire a single shot himself or from his military that he is the commander-in-chief of. You know, a lot's been made about, hey, he needs to be, you know, win the Nobel Peace Prize. The prize doesn't mean anything, right? We saw that when Barack Obama got the prize essentially for existing. And so it doesn't mean anything. It's just like symbolic. But if it's just simply symbolic, how about the guy that is single-handedly just this summer ended a bunch of wars or prevented a bunch of wars from happening? And the last big takeaway here is we do have to be real about this entire situation. There simply cannot be a lasting peace in the Middle East because Islam, the religion of Islam will not allow for it. Okay. So, Melissa Dhy, who has a fantastic book, uh, Happy Lies, she made this comment. In America, we treat Islam like it's Christianity and Christianity like it's Islam. Okay? Because not every Muslim is violent, but Islam in and of itself is a violent religion. We're going to get more into that here in just a second in our Islam is not compatible with the West segment, but there's never going to be peace between these two sides. So, let's just look at let's not look at any of the other Arab states. Let's just look at Hamas in their charter. And Hamas isn't going to go away, by the way. Right? They're down, but not out for sure. In their charter is the explicit call for the destruction of Israel. So, when they say from the river to the sea, they mean it. They mean it. They cannot have peace with Israel. And Israel knows that. They're not stupid, but I feel like a lot of other people are because they think, "Oh, you know, these are some maggot people." They're like, "Oh, Trump did it. He's going to have lasting peace in the Middle East." It's like, bro, no. The best we can hope for is temporary peace until Jesus comes back. All right, next quicker here. Candace Owens directly accusing the Trump administration of assassinating Charlie Kirk. Now, I'm taking a little bit of a risk here because apparently every time I talk about Candace Owens, there is a segment of my audience that either just unfollows me, is done with me, or gets really, really, really offended that I would dare say anything critical of their precious Candace Owens. And I don't quite understand that cuz as I've explained during her rise to fame with the Blexit stuff, I was very, very impressed with her. I found her to be incredibly charming, incredibly smart, and I thought she she had some good things going on. Then when she joined the Daily Wire, I was super excited about that. But then whenever she was, you know, fired from the Daily Wire, I was like, "Well, wait a minute. Is Candace Owens right or is Jeremy Boring and Ben Shapiro right?" Like, what exactly is going on? But to even a neutral observer, because I've been neutral on Candace Owens, right? Because I I didn't consume her her content. I didn't watch her videos and all that. She was just person some, you know, this person kind of out in the periphery of the conservative movement. But there was a video that she posted recently and I basically talked about some of the insane things that she has said, especially since Charlie Kirk has been assassinated saying that Charlie Kirk was coming to her in her dreams. I mean, aside from that being a non-falsifiable claim, why would Charlie Kirk from heaven communicate with someone that wasn't his wife? And and I just feel very uncomfortable with any woman alive today other than Erica Kirk speaking for their dead husband, right? speaking for their deceased husband. I I I don't know that anyone should be speaking for a deceased person, especially Candace Owens. She seems to be unraveling mentally, right? And so I want to play this clip here right now because this is according to Candace Owens herself. This is a video that she posted. Let's actually go to the clip here. I just really needed to just take a breather and um really process everything that happened with Charlie and what it kind of means in in terms of where we are. And I think it is a circumstance where we all we just know we just know that he was truly betrayed in one of the most egregious ways that I think I've ever seen. It has made me lose faith in politics. It has made me fully lose faith in Trump. Um, and I just like I just my heart aches for the fact that he gave so much of his life to Trump and to politics and they just were like, "Nope, that is it. It serves us or it doesn't serve us and we want to move on." And so here's a holiday, bro. If they try to give me a holiday, what is with them giving people a holiday after they kill them? Why is that a thing? You know what I mean? They're like, "Oh, Martin Luther King, what about this holiday? What about this boulevard?" Anyways, let me knock off. They're going to give Charlie Boulevard. They already did. They did in Israel. They gave him freaking B. It's like as soon as they give you a boulevard and a holiday holiday, they definitely killed you. Okay, there's no question. They killed you. There's no way. That's like their signature thing. It's like that's what they do. It's the It's the Fed signature. They sign off after they murder you. They're like holiday in a boulevard. And it's never on the nice side of town either. Like Charlie Kirk Boulevard is not going to be a nice side of town. Anyways, I will be back on the 27th, you guys. Okay, Candace, what's your evidence? We just know. Okay. All right. So, this is just another, and this is just recently, this is another extreme claim that Candace Owens is making. And just like Pastor Kelsey from earlier in the episode provides no receipts, no evidence. It's essentially trust me, bro. That's what Candace Owens is doing right now. And people are eating it up because they trust Candace. Now, they're ignoring every bit of evidence that tells them they shouldn't do that. They're just basically taking it hook, line, and sinker. But here's a question for Candace Owens and the people that listen to her. Why would the Trump administration kill the non-politician that is most responsible for Trump getting reelected? Like just pause, you know, aside from the fact that Candace has provided no evidence for this whatsoever. Why would they do that? Because as I've said before, there are people that are responsible for Trump being reelected, right? The greatest comeback in American political history. Okay? The number one human being responsible for that is Donald Trump. The number two human being responsible for that is we'll say Joe Biden. Number three person is Kla Harris. The number four person is probably Charlie Kirk. And the number five number five person is the kid that tried to shoot and assassinate him in Butler Pennsylvania. And his influence only grew after Trump was reelected. His audience only grew wider and broader. His supporters only increased. and he stands poised to help JD Vance or whoever the Republican nominee is at the end of this Trump term to get elected to keep the White House in control of the Republicans. And yet Donald Trump, the Donald Trump administration led by Donald Trump decided to assassinate him. Why? Make the affirmative case. Make something that resembles a coherent thought. And also, this is just an observation. In order for people to continue to follow and believe Candace Owens, they're having to suspend their ability to think critically and to require an evidentiary basis for truth claims. Okay? Because I'm just like everybody else listening to this right now. When I hear something from somebody that I default trust, I just assume that it's true. Okay? But when someone makes a grandiose claim and provides no receipts and then when you go behind their payw wall, they still have no receipts. What are we to make of that? Because I actually posted that clip that I just put here on social media and I had people in the comments and the DM saying, "Oh, well yeah, bro, you just got to watch the entire episode. That's not what she said." I played what she said. So your claim now is that what she said is not what she said. Now, I understand with context, meaning can change, but she said what she said. What possible context could there be in the larger clip that would change what she said in the clip that I showed you? And when I push back on you in that way, you have nothing. Just like Candace Owens, you provide no receipts for your claim. So, let's go to my big takeaways here. At this moment, the odds of Candace Owens being right are way lower than the odds of her being a psychopath, of her being psychopathic, because let's be honest, Candace Owens might be right. And if she is found to be right, if she provides some semblance of a receipt later to back up her claims, I will come right in front of this microphone and tell you I was wrong. I am so sorry, Candace Owens. But to make sure that you don't think I'm just taking a shot at her, calling her a psycho cuz every everything's psycho. Oh man, that that you know that guy's psycho or man, you you wouldn't believe my chick, she's psycho. Roughly 1 to 2% of the general population meet the criteria for psychopathy. Okay, 1 to 2%. There are roughly 350 million people just in the United States. So there are roughly 350,000 to 700,000 Americans that are psychotic. They have psychopathy. They meet the standards. Okay. Now, if I were a better, I'd say that Candace Owens is one of them, right? Just like Candace Owens. I can't prove it. I don't have a receipt. But just from my nonclinical observation, I think that's more likely than her being correct. And here's the thing. If I'm wrong, if she's not psychotic, then she's just an opportunistic grifter. She's literally grifting. She's convincing you to come along on the crazy train and give her money along the way, and then at some point in the nondescribed future, she's going to give you the payoff that you want. This This feels like the Russian collusion hoax, right? What was the the House member from uh from Oh, from California? And I can't remember the guy's name, but he kept going on CNN basically saying, "If you see what I've seen, right, if you had the knowledge that I had, you would believe me that Donald Trump is a Russian cat's ppaw. He is just a member of of Putin's inner circle. But don't you worry, within the next week, we're going to give you the information that blows the lid off this whole thing. Don't you worry. Next week, we're going to give you the information that proves that we're right. Don't you worry. Next week, it just keeps going and keeps going and keeps going." Adam Schiff, it was his name. just keeps going and keeps going and keeps going and then there's never a payoff and then the person just pretends like they never made any of those grandiose claims. Okay, so here's the thing. If you're a Candace Owens fan, if you like Candace Owens, okay, that's fine. But my goodness, be a fan with your brain turned on. Okay. If someone's going to make a claim like the Donald Trump administration or that the Jews killed Charlie Kirk, one of their big biggest public supporters, they've got to provide evidence for that because these conspiracy theory people, again, as I've explained and as Ben Shapiro kind of elucidated, they always just kind of expand the size of the conspiracy. Like when when the conspiracy is this big and all of it's kind of proven wrong, like no, it's not a conspiracy. They just widen the gap and widen it some more and then widen it some more and widen it some more and then eventually everyone in humanity is a part of the conspiracy, right? It's kind of like the flat earth people. Every single person that's ever taken a picture of the earth or everything like they're all in on it somehow, right? So it's very convenient and you can make a lot of money that way as Candace Owens is proving. But guys, if we are to be people of truth, we have to demand evidence. It's all I'm saying. All right, next quicker here. A convicted child murderer being freed after serving less than 10 years of his prison sentence. So, the Daily Wire has done an incredible job of covering this case. So, I'll just be brief in my commentary and direct you to their links, but this is according to the Daily Wire on October the 8th. The Kentucky man who killed six-year-old Logan Tipton was freed 13 years early after state law labeled his assault convictions nonviolent despite the brutal nature of his crime. So, I I'll pause real quick and and describe this to you. So, he broke into this family's house. He got a butcher knife and he stabbed the six-year-old child so hard and so violently that he bent the butcher knife. So, go to your kitchen, grab your butcher knife, and bang it on your countertops. just to feel how solid that is. And then imagine how hard you would have to stab something, much less a child's skull, to bend the knife. Okay, so back to the DW reporting here. According to investigators, Ronald Exantis, 42 years old, broke into the Tempton family home in Woodford County, Kentucky on the night of December the 7th, 2015, stabbing stabbing Tempton, who later died of his injuries and assaulting the boy's father and sibling. The story has drawn national outrage as many Americans are questioning how a man who brutally killed a child could walk free after serving less than half of his 20-year term. All because his convictions were classified as nonviolent under Kentucky law. Exantis was tried in 2018, but the jury deemed him mentally insane and did not convict him of murder. Instead, he was convicted of a lesser charge of secondderee assault for the attack on Tempton's father and sibling and sentenced to 20 years in prison. The Kentucky Pearl Board said in a statement that the state law forced the board to sign off on Exantis' release. Okay, so there are a lot of jacked up things about this story. Okay, the first thing is that you get out of a murder charge by just pretending to be or actually being insane. So, you're only convicted of seconddegree assault for attacking the father and sibling who lived, but not for stabbing a child, a six-year-old, in the head so many times and so violently that you bent the knife that you used to do the killing. Okay. Also, how could any justice system allow for the intentional murder, especially that of a child, to be in any way determined nonviolent? So, what law, what possible construction of laws? And I know we have a really really jacked up system where laws are on top of laws that connect to other things and it's really really difficult to surmise. Right? AI can't even figure it out. [sighs] But how could a justice system allow intentional murder to ever in any circumstance be able to fall into the non-violent category? That's incredibly jacked up. Also, how could any parole system allow for an intentional murder, especially that of a child, to in any way result in an early release from prison? Okay. Again, if we followed biblical dictates, we'll get to more of that here in a second when we talk about Pope Leo. But when you intentionally murder somebody, you don't get to live anymore after convicted. Yes, let's go ahead and get you uh you know, your retrial or you know, let's get you your you know uh let's get you another chance or whatever to to basically prove your point that you're innocent. But if you're found guilty or if your guilty verdict is upheld, then that's it. You die. But somehow this man intentionally murdered somebody and the parole system allows for his early release from his sentence that was already way too lenient. And I guess here's a third thing that I thought of as I was going through the story. How did no one in prison kill this man? I mean, we're told all the time and we see stories all the time of people who do crimes against children, people that murder children, people that rape children, all those people, they don't make it in prison. They just don't last for long. There was a guy recently, he was a lead singer of a rock band and he was found out to be a incredible sexual deviant like a horrible horrible person. Participated in it and and spread the porn u you know out out to all these different entities and he was killed in prison by two guys, right? How did this man survive in prison? So, it's just something I thought of. But let me go my big takeaway on this one. I have a second new law proposal on the podcast. If you plead insanity in order to get out of a conviction followed by a prison sentence, then you have to spend the rest of your life in a mental institution. Deal? I mean, I feel like I'm being incredibly generous on this episode today, right? So, you're trying to get out of a capital murder conviction by claiming that you're insane, which might be true in this case, but you're claiming that you're insane. That's what your defense is going with. And so great, you're allowed to do that. You can plead insanity, but if you plead insanity, you have to spend the rest of your life in a mental inst mental institution. But in our justice system, so-called, you can plead insanity and then just not have to suffer the consequences of the crime that you so clearly committed. Because if you are actually insane, that's all the more reason to make sure you never see the outside of a jail cell. Again, go back to what I said earlier. The main reason for prison is to keep you away from the rest of the population because you are too dangerous to social order and to the people therein. So, I feel like my proposals are fair here, but as I see uh recently, Exantis was actually arrested, rearrest, rearrested in Florida because somehow he was able to take residence within walking distance of an elementary school, right? And so he could still end up facing justice under the Trump administration is getting involved as well. So hopefully justice is actually served and this man never sees the outside of a prison cell ever again. All right, next one here. Chip and Joanna Gaines continuing to approve that they should not be admired by Christians anymore. So you can add this segment to the episodes where I called out the Gaines in detail in episode 787 and 790. So 787 and 790. So this is according to Protestia. Another reality TV show from Christian couple Chip and Joanna Gaines has drawn attention for prominently featuring an LGBTQ activist as host, a flamboyant cross-dressing judge, and an all LGBTQ roller skating team, highlighting the couple's continued transition to gay affirming content. When she's not posting half- naked pictures of herself on Instagram, she's performing at LGBTQ plus pride events, joining campaigns like Glad's Spirit Day to support LGBTQ plus youth, and working with the Gay Men's Chorus of South Florida. One of the three judges on the show is Johnny Weir, a former Olympic figure figure skater and current flamboyant queer LGBTQ activist and crossdresser. Wears attire for the show is striking as are his affeminite mannerisms and he wears women's dresses and clothing throughout much of the competition. Group member Lauron Gigger told Gay magazine that hos of skate is not just about skating. It's about breaking barriers, living authentically, and representing the LGBTQ plus community in a way that hasn't been seen before. Despite all this, Joanna Gaines was thrilled to produce it, calling it a dream come true for me and promoting it as a show the whole family can watch together. So, right to the big takeaway on this one. If you still in any way support Joanna Gaines, Chip Gaines, Magnolia, or any of the the many brands that are controlled by the Gaines, I don't want to hear your [inaudible] about the culture anymore. I just can't really believe that as they plan their next Disney cruise or trip to Disney World. Oh gosh, can you believe Netflix is putting all these kids shows, you know, shows targeted at kids with all these trans ideologies and demonic ideologies and all that? As they scroll Netflix to figure out what show they're going to binge watch next, at some point y'all are going to have to put your money where your mouth is. Cuz you don't need to prove it to me. You need to prove it to yourself that you're not completely full of crap. Okay? Cuz you love to complain. You love to point. You love to castate and denounce. I can't believe that you're going to share this stuff on Twitter and on your Instagram and you're going to get a bunch of other moms excited about all this stuff that oh, I can't believe this is all going on. Before we get into the three stories that we're going to be covering today, you'll notice if you've been a listener of the show for for very long, especially this year, I've made mention of a bunch of stories of Christian beheadings all across Africa, right? Nigeria, Sudan, Mosambique, and I've mentioned it several times on the show and I've made the comment, oh, if if this seems like I'm repeating a story that I've already done weeks or months ago, nope. This is a new story because Islamists, right, followers of the prophet Muhammad all over Africa are seeking out Christians for destruction. They're chopping their heads off. They're raping their women. They're stealing their children. They're setting their churches on fire. Okay? And it's just been happening all over the place and people are just now figuring it out. So, so Bill Maher had to mention it on his show when he was sitting there talking to somebody that nobody's talking about it. Bill Maher, not a friend to Christians, talking about why is no one talking about an actual genocide going on in a country like Nigeria because we spent all this time talking about the non- genocide in Gaza, but we don't want to talk about African Christians getting beheaded. So, let's go into the first story in this segment. Iraq lowering the age of consent for girls to marry to 9 years old. So, this is according to the UK Telegraph on November the 7th. Iraq is poised to slash the legal age of consent from 18 to 9, allowing men to marry young children. The proposed legal change also deprivives women of rights to divorce, child custody, and inheritance. Right into the next story. Somalia voting to allow child marriage. This is according to KABTV. Somalia's federal parliament has come under fire for human rights advoc from human rights advocates after approving the African charter on the rights and welfare of the child with major reservations that exclude key protections against child marriage and sexual exploitation. Local youth activists have condemned the move saying it effectively leaves Somali children particularly girls vulnerable to forced marriages and sexual abuse. So big takeaway on those two stories. They're doing exactly what their false pro prophet Muhammad would want them to do. That's typically my commentary when I talk about these stories. People are like, "How could anyone allow something like this? Why would there be a government body, a parliament of some kind that would advocate for something like this, for things like this?" Because Muhammad would do it. So there's doing what he would do. So, need I remind you, some of you maybe don't know this. Muhammad married a six-year-old girl named Aisha, a six-year-old. And then he consummated the marriage when she was nine, meaning that he held her down and forcibly raped her when she was 9 years old. Some of you have a nine-year-old girl right now or have had one or are about to have one. A grown man, a warlord, married her and then raped her. What a romantic, right? So why in the world would you expect Somalia or Iraq to act any differently? Right? They're Islamist nations, so they have to basically do what the founder of Islam would say, right? And then we'll get to the next story here. The United States somehow allowing for an American city to be controlled almost exclusively by Muslims. So let's talk about Dearbornne, Michigan. So more than half of the residents, there's about 110,000 residents of Dearbornne, Michigan. More than half of the population is Muslim. So they have a Muslim mayor named Abdullah Hussein Hammud. So he actually had an interaction recently at a uh at a board meeting with a Christian resident of Dearbornne. His name is Ted Barnum or Barham. Uh I think he's a pastor there in Dearbornne, Michigan. So the city suggested renaming a city street in their town to Osama Sablani. I think it was like Osama Sablani Drive or something like that. But this guy's a terror supporter. Okay. So concerned citizen goes before the mayor and he says this is Ted Barum. He basically objects to the changing of a street name. And let's go to the clip here to where we can see this interaction. >> I mean um you know bombed the embassy in in Beirut and including many Americans. So I just feel it's quite inappropriate. >> You're an Islamophobe and although you live here, I want you to know as mayor, you are not welcome here. and the day you move out of the city will be the day that I launch a parade celebrating the fact that you moved out of the city because you are now somebody who believes in coexistence. >> So obviously the interaction goes on from there, but he's just basically dressing down this Christian man. But the richest thing from that clip that comes from the mouth of Abdullah Hammud is where he accuses this Christian minister of not believing in coexistence. Like it's almost too on the nose. You're accusing a Christian of not believing in coexistence. Christians [snorts] are called to coexist with people of all stripes and to share the gospel with them and call them to repentance. Right? But according to the Quran, the only way Muslims are allowed to coexist with non-Muslims, there's only three options actually. The first is the non-Muslims have to convert to Islam and then they can live alongside them. Then non-Muslims have to pay a jiza or giza. That's J I Z Y A. That's a tax. And then they can, you know, live alongside the Muslims or they're killed. Convert to Islam, pay this tax, or what's behind door number three? We chop your head off. So for a Muslim to claim that a Christian doesn't know anything about coexistence is so absurd. like it's so absurd that I'm almost feeling like I'm saying nothing because it's so on then nose absurd. But here's my big takeaway here. Islam has been a net negative for the West, hasn't it? Islam as a worldview and as a world religion has been a net negative really, let's just expand it out for all of humanity, for all of human flourishing. Okay, so Matt Walsh actually posed this question on his show and and also on Twitter. Eventually, I'll probably get around to calling it X, but it just still doesn't feel right. But he basically said, "What would be worse about America if Islam never existed?" Like, what would be worse? This is kind of a derivative of what Matt Matt Walsh said, but what would be worse about America if Muslims were never allowed to come to this country? Now, surely there will be uh some inventions that maybe didn't happen or or some something like that. But again, we have to go back to what Islam is. Not all Muslims are violent, but Islam, if you follow it, is actually violent. Now, Christians in America, as I've talked about a lot on the show, we don't read our Bibles. We we don't believe in kind of basic doctrinal things. There are a bunch of Christians walking around. I think there are multi ways multiple ways outside of Jesus to get to God, right? So, uh you it's just it's it's obnoxious, right? But if those people were to become devout, if they were to become studyers of the word, if they were to become disciples, real disciples, followers of Jesus, think about what would be happening. They would be caring for more people. They would be more moral. Communities would be better and safer. But if all Muslims followed to a tea, each surah of the Quran and all of the hadith right? Basically, every infidel would be dead or there would be a constant war between Muslims and non-Muslims all over the planet at all times, right? That's what would be happening. So, I will continue to talk about it because apparently our politicians aren't really worried about it either, right? I heard recently where there was a poll of American women of like what was their one of their biggest concerns and one of them was the rise of Islam because Islam is a political movement yes but it's a world domination movement right so when people talk about oh Islam is exploding in growth because they're forcing people to convert because people don't want to lose their heads you you don't get to just you know opt in normally now some people do but that's not the normal run of things. So if y'all don't think that Islam is an enemy to you, you're foolish. Now, that is not license for you to mistreat Muslim people, individual Muslims. These are people that need the gospel of Jesus Christ. It's up to you to share with them, right? And if you don't, I mean, the Holy Spirit is probably going to visit them in their dreams and Jesus is going to talk to them and they'll convert, right? So there you go. Sovereignty of God, right? We are to treat Muslims well, but we are to push back the darkness of Islam as aggressively as possible. All right, next quick hitter here. A 2-year-old girl dying in the family car while her dad was distracted watching porn. This is according to the New York Post on October the 15th. The Arizona father accused of leaving his toddler to cook to death in a sweltering car was allegedly watching pornography as a 2-year-old was left sleeping in the cruiser for more than three hours. Prosecutors revealed during a court hearing Tuesday. Christopher uh Skultis, I'm sorry, I don't know how to pronounce his last name. Scultus, 37 years old, was distracted watching the X-rated videos when he left his youngest daughter, Parker, inside the car parked in the driveway of his Morirana home during a scorching 109°ree day last summer, the Daily Mail reported. Prosecutors said the careless dad was also playing video games and drinking beers as his daughter perished from heat exposure inside the searing 2003 Acura on July the 9th of 2024. An absolutely horrific tragedy. It's It's almost impossible to put into words what this little girl experienced being literally cooked to death in the car while her dad was watching porn, playing video games, and drinking beer. And now his youngest, I think of three children is dead. He allowed his baby to be stolen from that entire family. Absolute tragedy. So, big takeaway here. It may seem like it, but this story isn't just about porn, about video games, about beer, or even just about getting distracted. It's about men not standing firm and acting like men, right? You know, Joby's new book, Stand Firm and Act Like Men, has been on the tips of everyone's tongue. People have been reading it. It's on the New York Times bestseller list. All the things, right? Did this man do anything vaguely to align with what scripture says a man should do and should be because porn in every circumstance is wrong. Video games if they become an idol are wrong. Beer if taken to the point of drunkenness or idolatry is wrong. And we all get distracted. But a little girl died because of this man's sickness, right? his porn addiction, his video game addiction, his beer addiction, his self soothing addiction. That's why he does all those things. That's why he jerks off watching porn. That's why he escapes playing video games. That's why he tries to numb the pain drinking beer, right? It's not about just having fun. It's about escapism. It's about leaning into the distraction. It's about seeking out comfort. But men, we're not called to be comfortable. If we are to be the watchmen on the wall as described in Isaiah, we had to be equipped to do that job. If you go back to these ancient times, you know, if they had if they had their way, if it wasn't kind of like a crazy last minute type of a situation, the men that were the watchmen on the wall were trained and equipped to do that job. Go back to Nehemiah 3 and 4. These men worked with a working tool in one hand and they had their spear and their sword ready in the other hand, right? Think these men were just sent up the wall with their tools and their weapons. Or do you think they were trained and equipped to wield both of them? They were equipped. And yet so many men are just like this guy who for the rest of his life is going to think about that time he was jerking off, that time he was playing some video game on his phone or on his Xbox, that time that he was crushing beers while his baby was boiled to death inside of the car where he left her cuz he was too lazy to bring her inside. He needed a break. He thought the battery on his car was going to last long enough. and the AC was going to be running. No big deal. I'll go get her later. And she's dead now. So, this is maybe the most extreme example I've heard of a man allowing his hobbies or his lesser loves, his interests leading to someone dying. But allow this to be a cautionary tale, men. Your children are your progyny. That is your legacy. I've said before, part of the reason why I do this show and I do it so fervently with so much passion is this is a love letter to my boys. That if I drop dead today for any number of reasons, these boys have 800 plus episodes to see how dad felt about the world and how dad felt about them. And hopefully that could help them in their sanctification journeys and their disciplehip and perhaps even in their salvation, right? But most men aren't living with any level of purpose. They're living for the next video that they're going to swipe through as they try to figure out the video that they're going to ejaculate to. It's for the next release of that next video game that's their favorite. They're going to put on their doofy headset and talk to their non-buddies across the world and they're going to spend hour after hour after hour being courageous in a notreal place in some fantasy land. They're going to drown their sorrows in beer and they're going to h, you know, they're going to crush some more beers and they're going to whatever. Oh, it's the weekend. I earn this. And for what? For what? We need men to stand firm and start acting like men. All right, next quick hitter here. A University of Kentucky cheerleader giving birth and then disposing of her baby in a trash bag. This is according to the New York Post on October the 3rd. Kentucky cheerleader Leaken Snelling snaps selfies as she secretly delivered her baby before allegedly leaving it in a closet as she popped out to grab McDonald's. According to police, the recovered photos of her in labor were later deleted in an attempt to hide the birth, the affidavit said. And investigators believe other images may have been successfully destroyed before her arrest. After giving birth, Snelling allegedly stuffed the baby boy in a trash bag and went to McDonald's for a bite, according to an affidavit affidavit. It was unclear exactly when or how the baby died. when she was out selling's roommate, who had heard disturbing noises from her room the night before, snuck into her bathroom and found a blood soaked towel on the floor in a plastic bag containing evidence of childbirth. They later found the baby cold to the touch in the closet and called 911 according to the affidavit. So, several big takeaways on this horrible, horrific, terrible story. I don't want to hear any excuses for Snelling's behavior because there have been some. Okay. Oh, she's she's young. She doesn't really know better. Like, you know, we got to give her the benefit of the doubt somehow. But at a minimum, guys, she should spend the rest of her life in prison because legally she is an adult and she purposefully killed another human being. Like her she's not mentally right? She is a functioning individual at a university. She knew that was a living human being and she knew that putting it in a trash bag would kill the baby boy. She knew that. So, she killed this boy on purpose. And guys, even if you're proabortion, most of you aren't really listening to this right now, but almost all proabortion people say that we have to say it's murder using their logic, okay? Because proabortion people love to say it's not a baby until it's born, right? Which doesn't make any sense whatsoever, but it's not a baby worth protection until it's born. This baby was born and then placed into a trash bag where it suffocated to death where it was deprived of nutrition while this girl went out and got a Big Mac. Okay, so using proabortion people's own logic about the baby not being human until it's born, you have to say that this is murder. Okay, so she certainly deserves blame here and I hope that she gets a serious sentence. But my second takeaway on this is feminism is to blame as well. Certainly, definitely the demonic worldview of feminism is to blame because we have to think about what led to this. Okay, if you look at some of the posts, like in the New York uh Post article, she's posting these very provocative selfies and videos and she's got different men with their are young boys uh that are technically men wrapping their arms around her and all that. So we can just assume that she was very sexually active and probably not monogously so. Okay. So she was spreading her legs for every available John that could possibly be there essentially cuz she was essentially whoring herself out. And when a girl is making decisions like that, I'm assuming that it wasn't always protected sex. And whoop, didn't you know it? This is what normally happens when you know you allow someone to ejaculate inside of you. A baby could be made because of that, right? because that's how God designed it. Okay? And this girl somehow was able to keep the fact that she was pregnant under wraps. She didn't immediately do an abortion, which is what a lot of college girls do. They just go to Planned Parenthood, pay three, 400 bucks, they don't tell anybody, and then they get rid of their problem so they can go back to partying and sleeping with random dudes. She just waited until the baby was born and decide, ah, I don't really want to do this. But also, the culture of the selfie, right? The culture of look at me, the culture of the selfie. She's taking selfies while she's giving birth to a baby that she intends to kill. And if you're one of those people that's like, "Well, she didn't know she was doing wrong. Like, she didn't know what all that. Why did she delete the pictures?" Cuz when she got back, she's like, "Oh, shoot." Like, I may actually be in trouble for this. She goes and tries to delete all the evidence of her taking selfies while giving birth. So, she knew exactly what she was doing. She knew exactly precisely what she was doing. Okay. But feminism helped entice this girl into being sexually active, to being sexually free, to exploring her body and allowing men and young boys to do the exact same for her. Right? And then feminism tells us you deserve to be unpreg. Okay? Now, she stayed pregnant, but also feminism tells you, you deserve to not be burdened with a child. You deserve to live your life, to live your best life now, and to build up your career without having to deal with those kids. Those kids are just going to pull you down, yank you down, right? So, an absolutely tragic story. Um, I think we can assume, you know, I'm I'm going to echo something that Joby taught me that or essentially John Piper taught him is their read of Romans 1 leads them to believe that babies that die in uterero, babies that die in the womb, baby babies that die before they can start making decisions for themselves are saved by God. And that's the best we can hope for for this young boy. All right, next quicker here, Pope Leo. Okay, Publio's still a person that we all have to contend with and reckon with, but he said a bunch of things in quick succession that are absolutely astonishing. He said that you cannot simultaneously be pro-life and pro death penalty. He allowed for a Muslim prayer room in the Vatican and then he prayed over a block of ice. Okay, so let's actually go to this first clip here. Just wanted to ask one thing that has become a bit of a divi divisive subject in in the US right now with Cardinal Sup um giving an award to um Senator Durban. Some people of faith are having a hard time with understanding this because he is pro um or rather he's for legalized um abortion. How would you help people of faith right now decipher that, feel about that? And how do you feel about that? I'm not terribly familiar with the particular case. Um, I think that it's very important to look at the overall work that a senator has done during, if I'm not mistaken, 40 years of service in the United States Senate. I understand the difficulty and the tensions but I think um as I myself have spoken in the past it's important to look at many issues that are related to what is the teaching of the church. Someone who says I'm against abortion but says I'm in favor of the death penalty is not really pro-life. So uh someone who says that uh I'm against abortion but I'm in agreement with the inhuman treatment of immigrants who are in the United States. I don't know if that's pro-life. So, they're very complex issues. I don't know if anyone has all the truth on them, but I would ask first and foremost that there be greater respect for one another and that we search together both as human beings in that case as American citizens or citizens of the state of Illinois as well as as Catholics to say we need to, you know, really look closely at all of these ethical issues and and to find the way forward as church. Church teaching on each one of those issues is very clear. >> Thank you. Thank you very >> All right. So, Catholics are great on the abortion issue. They have been for a very, very, very long time. But why would the Vatican need to weigh the difficulty and tension on whether or not to celebrate a senator that has spent like four decades defending the so-called right to murder babies in the womb? Like, what exactly do we need to be weighing back and forth? What tension are you talking about? And then he makes the absurd claim that you can't be pro-life and be pro capital punishment, pro death penalty. But let me actually quote some scripture because I assume that the Pope doesn't actually read his Bible much. Genesis 9:6, "Whoever sheds the blood of man, by man shall his blood be shed, for God made man in his own image." So there you go. Happy to help Pope Leo. And then he talks about the treatment of immigrants in the United States. So I'm sure it was just a slight oversight here, but he left out a very important word. Illegal immigrants, sir. illegal immigrants is is what is being discussed here. So, I guess the Pope isn't a huge fan of national sovereignty and immigration laws, which is actually a super convenient position to hold when you live in a country completely surrounded on all sides by walls and behind those walls are people that will kill you if you illegally enter them. So, there is that. So, you see this is the main problem that I see for Catholics, okay? When the Pope and the Bible contradict one another or don't agree or don't jive, which viewpoint wins, which one wins out? Okay? And don't say, "Well, what does the catechism say?" Cuz that's not a real thing. Okay? So, when the Pope says something that doesn't jive with scripture, whose authority wins out? Okay? Now, the next part here, according to Catholic News Agency on October the 21st, claim the Vatican Library has opened a prayer room for Muslims. CNA finds the library does allow Muslim scholars a room in which to pray while they are on site doing research in the Vatican's extensive archives. So, here's a quick question for Pope Leo and everyone else that works at the Vatican. Okay, I have a suggestion for you actually. How about you go to Mecca, walk into the main mosque there, which is colloquially called the sacred mosque, and ask them for a room where Christians can pray. see how it goes. Let's see how welcoming they are of you right while you're in Mecca. Think that'll go well. Pope Leo apparently is enough of a doofus where he might actually try that. But let's actually go to the next video clip here. Wow. Lord of life, bless this water. Because I remember there were Catholics that were holding out hope like, "All right, Francis is out. Francis is out now. He's pretty left-leaning. Said a lot of stuff that the Vatican had to walk back. Stuff that didn't jive with scripture at all. Maybe Pope Leo won't be so stupid." And I don't think he's a stupid person, but he's saying really stupid things and doing really stupid things because as Christians are being beheaded all over Africa, he takes time out of his calendar to pray over a block of ice. Golly, imagine having to pretend like he's the vicor of Christ. My goodness. All right, next quicker here. Transgender identification plummeting among American college students. So, this is according to Desireette News on October the 16th. A new report by Eric Kaufman shows a sharp drop in young people identifying as transgender or queer since 2023 across several universities. There was also evidence of improving mental health among students. Imagine that. Kaufman suggests shifting cultural trends may mark a broader post-progressive shift, but more research is needed to confirm the causes. So, I'm stealing a big takeaway here from the great Albert Mohler and what he said about this study. And by the way, at the link I posted, you can actually go and check out the study for yourself. I guess transgenderism has finally fallen out of fashion. Okay? Because what a lot of young impressionable kids, some of which are mentally ill, they put on trans transgenderism like it was a coat. Okay? Now, there are coats like if you were going to high school in the early 2000s or whatever, you may look back on some of those pictures and your puka shell necklace and your frosted tips and all that and think, "Oh gosh, why did I do that?" Well, that stuff's not in fashion now. So, you wouldn't do that here in 2025. And that's what a lot of kids are realizing with transgenderism. Some of them are being snapped out of the the, you know, malaise of this entire thing, the trance that they were in, right? Like my issue inside of me is that I have a girl's body, but I'm actually a boy. I have a male body, but I'm actually female. And so when the culture is telling you, "Yeah, you're right. Here's a month to celebrate. Here's automatic cultural clout for you for coming out as this. Oh, you saw your friend come out and and say that she was transgender and now you want the same accolades from all of your public school teachers and from all the affirmers in culture, right? You want to be celebrated at the parade. You want to be celebrated on TikTok. Okay? Well, now seems to be falling out of fashion. And it can't be falling out of fashion soon enough. Okay? Because there are children that have horribly demonically possessed parents that are forcing andor allowing for these drugs that are going to destroy the bodies of these young kids. There are children that are having their healthy breast tissue cut off. There are little girls that are having parts of their arm shaved off so it can be sewed into this phallic-l like thing and sewed on top of their vagina which is sewed shut which will never actually close because it's not a wound. There are little boys that are having their testicles removed there. There are these horrible, awful things that are happening because of progress because we don't want to be too judgmental, right? And thank God more Christians are standing up and talking about these evils. They're not they're not down with the third way, right? They're not going along to get along. They're not posting the black square on Twitter. They're not wearing their masks still. These are people that are like, "No, we're not doing this anymore." this charade, this nonsense, it's over. And luckily, a lot of kids are opting out of it already, which is great. All right, next quicker here. Christianity Today taking more than a million dollars from a proabortion foundation. This is according to Megan Basham at the Daily Wire on September the 30th. Christianity today has always claimed it maintains a pro-life ethic. But financial records unearthed after Christian publisher Canon Press offered to buy the magazine call that commitment into question, showing that it is being heavily funded by a massive left-wing organization that spends millions to support the nation's leading abortion advocate, Planned Parenthood. Since 2022, the William and Flora Hewlet Foundation has become a major patron of Christianity Today, donating well over $1 million to the outlet Record Show. Included in the contributions is $400,000 for general operating support, $75,000 to develop a mobile app, and $600,000 to cover US elections. This makes Hulet one of the magazine's top disclosed donors, even though the NGO's extensive abortion backing makes it a strange bedfellow for a Christian publication. As dark money watchd dogs watchdog groups like influence watch have noted since its founding in 1967 Hulet has continuously supported Planned Parenthood eventually becoming its second largest private funer in the United States. Between the year 2000 and 2023 Hulet granted Planned Parenthood over $100 million. After the 2022 DOPS decision ended the constitutional right to abortion. Hulet announced it was redoubling its efforts to ensure access to states that were moving to restrict the procedure, revealing that its board had approved a 30% increase in its annual budget, earmarked for reproductive equity work. In particular, this funding would strengthen support for state and local organizations focused primarily on abortion care. Since Hulet's backing began, Christianity Today has published several articles challenging the traditional definition of pro-life as a commitment to protect the lives of babies in the womb. instead suggesting it should be expanded to include racial injustice and new federal entitlements like paid family leave. Christianity Today editor and chief Russell Moore and news editor Marvin Olasi did not respond to inquiries into whether the magazine sees any moral inconsistency in partnering with a well-known abortion supporter. Okay, so big takeaway on this one and I really appreciate Megan Basham and all the work that she does especially in these areas. This is how you get Christian organizations to die essentially. This is how you get Christian organizations and companies to die. You give them money. You pat them on the head and [snorts] you convince them to kill themselves because you eventually get so much money that you start weighing whether or not the gravy train keeps going because the left-wing demonic forces that are giving the money, they don't just give the money and go away. They give the money and then they start making suggestions. And after a while of making some suggestions, seeing that you're acquiescing to the suggestions, they start making demands. Well, we demand that you do this or we're going to pull our funding. And then when you do those things and they keep the funding going, then you start telling them precisely what you want them to do and how to do it. You leave no ambiguity. And so previously Christian organizations like Christianity today, they just want to keep suckling from the teat, right? They don't want the money to turn off. And you have people that are incredibly compromised like Russell Moore basically saying, "Yeah, no big deal here." Because this isn't like one of those weird things where you don't exactly know what the person's doing over here, right? It is a well-known public fact that that organization that that foundation is actively funding the murder of babies in the womb, image bearsers of God, right? Did someone let Russell Moore know? They know exactly that they are giving that money and yet they are accepting that money in the same exact way. And then you notice how the coverage changes for Christianity today. Isn't that so interesting? The coverage starts to smack way more pro-abortion or at least pro-choice, right, as it's so-called. And then you expand the definition of what it means to be pro-life. Oh, you can't actually be pro-life unless you want universal health care and universal paid leave and universal child care and universal paid uh education and K through 12 and then on into college, free education for all. That's what it actually means to be pro-life. When at the end of the day, pro-life essentially means we don't want these kids to be killed in the womb and then we care for them afterwards as well. And the solution for that is to not turn your economy into basically a gaping wound that is never patched up, right? Destroying your entire economy to pay for things, taking them from taxpayers, right? That's not actually pro-life. Okay? So, keep your eyes on organizations like this. And obviously, if you're still paying attention and listening to the news coming from Christianity today, you probably need to stop that. All right. Next quicker here. The who planned to kill Brett Kavanaaugh being sentenced to only eight years in prison. This according to DW on October the 3rd. The man who planned to kill Supreme Court Justice Brett Kavanaaugh in 2022 in an attempt to change the court's balance of power was sentenced by a Joe Biden appointed judge on Friday to 97 months in prison, granting the defendant's request for an 8-year sentence. Judge Deborah Borman, a Joe Biden appointee to Maryland's federal court, acknowledged there was a whopping 22-year difference between that and the minimum of 30 years called for by the federal sentencing guidelines. Prosecutors had asked for sentencing guidelines to be followed. Nicholas Rosski traveled from California to Kavanaaugh's Maryland home armed with a cache of weapons after a leaked document showed that the court planned to rule against liberals on abortion. Although he had meticulously planned the assassination for months, he had a change of heart outside the conservative justice's home and called the police to turn himself in. In a more than hour-long speech justifying the light sentence, Boardman said Mrs. Rosski came out of came out to herself as transgender in 2020, but kept it secret. Mrs. Rosski, Rossky's sister, came out as gay two years prior, but Mrs. Rosski saw that their parents struggled to reconcile her sexuality with their religious beliefs. "I am heartened that this terrible infraction has helped the Roski family accept their daughter for who she is," Judge Boardman said. Boardman said any prison time is punishment for her. "The length doesn't need to be particularly long. Unduly harsh conditions make a difference, too." The judge continued, "She will be imprisoned in a male facility even though she is a transgender prisoner pursuant to an executive order from the president before the executive order. That wasn't the case." Okay. So, this is a male that was given a lighter sentence by this activist judge because he is mentally ill and thinks he's a woman or he knows how this thing works. He knew what kind of judge he was before. So, he's pretending to be transgender, pretending to believe that he's the opposite sex so he could get a lenient sentence. And boom, there it goes. There it happens. It's a big takeaway on this one. Elections have consequences, guys. Judge Borman was appointed by Joe Biden. As said in the article, elections have consequences. So, the next time you don't like the political candidate that's running for the Republican party, I want you to think about a situation like this. This is someone that traveled cross country to murder somebody that they thought was going to cast a vote to make it harder to kill babies in America. If Joe Biden explicitly had his way, every judge in America would be like Judge Boardman. So, elections have consequences. We may not like the culture, but we do have to participate in it. All right. Show Otani delivering the greatest single game performance in the history of Major League Baseball. I'm really excited to talk about this one. October the 17th. Okay, let's set the scene. National League Championship Series game four. The Los Angeles Dodgers have a home game with the chance to sweep the series and go on to the World Series. So, the Dodgers, we don't have to talk about the fact that they have a half a billion dollar payroll and three MVPs on their lineup. It's insane. But their star player is Show Otani from Japan. He had been slumping hard at this point. Okay, he played like crap in the division series. He played like crap in the first three games of the NLCS. But in game four, in this game, an elimination game for the Brewers, who had been the best team all season basically for Major League Baseball, Show Otani turned in the single greatest single game performance in the history of Major League Baseball. Okay, I'm serious. But I needed to try to put that in perspective because you might think, well, how many Major League Baseball games have there been? But that's the wrong question because obviously there have been a whole bunch of games. But it's not how many games have been played, it's how many player games have been played cuz in a single game there are a bunch of players, a couple of dozen players that play in the game. So one game will take place against the Brewers and Dodgers, but it has a bunch of participants. So, I had chat GBT help me with this and some other AIS and whatever because I wanted to know the total number of player games played because yes, there have been hundreds of thousands of MLB games played in the history of the league, but there are individual players in those games. And so, we've got to really get down to, okay, how many of those games have been played? So, I'm just going to read this straight from Chat GBT here. Okay. Mob has hosted roughly 200,000 232,554 major league games across the recognized major leagues AL, NL, AA, PL, UA, and FL. So that total comes from summing league team games and dividing by two. Okay. So in a modern season, the average number of players who appear in a game, you know, both teams combined is about 25.2. So, for example, in 2021, there were 61,316 player appearances. Okay? So, that's games across all players over 2430 games. That's 30 teams, 162 game schedule. Okay? So, that's around 25.25 players per game. And so, that total is derived from baseball reference season tables and some of the, you know, figures that can be summarized. But multiplying those together, 232,554 games times 25.25 25 player games. That's around 5.872 million player games. I don't know if that math is right. I I looked in chat GBT. There's like, you know, mathematical equations and stuff going on, but they're surmising that there have been 5.872 million player games in the history of Major League Baseball, and Show Otani had the number one best game out of all of them. Let's go back to game four. Show Otani is the starting pitcher and the leadoff hitter for the Dodgers in that game, which is already insane to say in 2025 that someone is so good that they can start a playoff game as a pitcher and hit leadoff. Okay, he strikes out the side in the top of the first and then he leads off the bottom of the first with a home run. So that's already legendary to do that in in, you know, the playoffs. But Otani recorded three. He recorded those first three strikeouts, but he had six scoreless innings that he pitched. He struck out 10 batters in six scoreless innings. That's incredible, right? And then he hit another home run in the fourth inning, which left the stadium and went over the roof in right center field. And then another home run in the seventh. So a playoff game with a chance to punch a ticket to the World Series in modern baseball. His stat line is six innings pitched. I think it was three hits, 10ks, three home runs. It's without a doubt the best performance of all time. So, I'm going to go out on a limb here and just stay with me. Show Otani is the greatest baseball player of all time. Okay. Now, generally speaking, most people accept that Babe Ruth is the greatest baseball player ever. Okay. So over 700 home runs, crazy total bases amounts and all that, but he was also a Sai Young level pitcher. [snorts] Now you can quibble with his competition and what if Babe Ruf had to hit today with, you know, starters that are only going, you know, two times through the rotation and then all these relievers coming out specifically to get out left-handed hitters, all the things. Yeah. Yeah, I get it. But he played in that era. And I'm also aware that some of you automatically thought about when I talk about the MMA goat thing, and I say, "No, no, no. You can't take a segment of time, right? not not a single performance, right? So, some people talk about, you know, the night that BJ Pin beat this one guy like, "Oh, he was the greatest fighter maybe ever." You know, people will talk about the the championship stretches of Fedor Millionenko over in Pride or Anderson Silva in the UFC and they're like, "Well, that's probably goat level performance." And I'm like, "No, no, no, no. You can't do that. You have to take their entire career from soup to nuts, from beginning to end, whether they tested positive for steroids, all those different things. Like, you have to take it all into account." And I know that show Otani doesn't have the counting stats yet. He doesn't have that 500 home runs, that 600 home runs, that 700 home runs, right? He doesn't have, you know, five MVPs and three science. He doesn't have all the hardware. He doesn't have the All-Star game appearances. He doesn't have the Silver Sluggers. He's had two Tommy John surgery. So, how much longer is he going to be pitching? I get it. There has never been a better baseball player in the history of the game of baseball. Never. Because people talk about five tool players. That's the ability to hit for power, hit for average, to run, to field, and to throw. Show can do all of that. And he does it on both sides of the plate. It's still astonishing to think about. And here's the other thing. The Dodgers, who are very easily the most hatable franchise in all baseball right now, signed him to a $700 million contract. Okay? But there was a report that came out recently that said the Dodgers have already made back the $700 million in the first year of that contract through marketing deals, through uh merchandise purchases, through ticket sales, and through licensing deals with American and Japanese companies. They've already made back the 700 million that they owe Shohei Otani. And I guess you can put Yamamoto, uh, who is the most expensive pitching contract of all time. That's a billion dollars, over a billion dollars worth of payroll to two players. They basically made all that money back already. So, as we sit here right now, I'm recording this on Monday. We've got three straight World Series games. The World Series could be over by the time you guys are listening to this. I have no one to root for because I can't stand the Dodgers. I can't stand the 500 thou $500 million payroll. And I just simply can't root for a team from Canada. Okay? I just can't do it. There's just something in me. I guess I'm just watching these games to look for something awesome to happen. But show Otani for my money, the greatest baseball player of all time. All right, now another baseball story. People getting the villain wrong in the now infamous Phillies Karen video. Now this happened a long time ago. It was like three or four months ago, but again, haven't been able to talk about it. Too much going on. Watch the clip here. Well, you took it from me. >> Bye. >> I'm glad you heard that. >> So, we brought you a cool little bag. [cheering] >> Whatever. You don't have to for >> You okay? >> All right. Happy birthday. your birthday. >> Couple days. >> Okay. >> Couple days. >> All right. So, there's a home run to left field. You see there's several people converging on the ball and then you see this woman with the haircut that you would expect to see from what I'm about to describe and a man. They're both going for the ball, but the man grabs the ball before she does. Okay, that's the name of the game, right? Quickest one to the ball, first one to take possession of the ball. It's their ball. Then the dad walks down a little ways. He has a son, looks to be 11, 12 years old. Puts the the ball in his glove and he's Man, the kids excited, the dad's excited. Man, I got a home run ball. Like, you can go to thousands of games and never even give get close to catching a home run ball. Okay. So, and then at the end, you can kind of see in the video there, the uh well, I'll describe the woman. The woman comes over and just gets in this man's face and she's giving him a piece of mind saying, "You stole the ball from me. You this and that," and all these different things. But at the end of the video, the Phillies organization uh you know, they made it right for the kid because the dad gave the ball to this woman. It was egregious. But the Phillies organization gave him like a grab bag. Uh good on former Cardinal Harrison Bader who hit the home run for hooking the kid up. I think it looked like with a signed bad and meeting him back um back in the you know locker room afterwards or whatever. But everyone is talking about how horrible that woman is getting in that dad's face and demanding the ball and then getting the ball and storming off with a ridiculous haircut. And to be sure, yeah, she's awful, right? What a terrible, terrible person, right? I I mean, I I don't know this person is what they do for a living. Maybe they're a nice lady. They just had a bad moment. Yikes. This seems like a terrible person to be around. But she's not the real version, real villain of this story. She's not. Cuz my big takeaway on this one is the dad is really the villain in this story. Some of you may have seen this video for the first time watching it here on YouTube or Rumble, but let's talk about the dad. He got the ball fair and square, which is good, right? He got there first. He took possession of the ball. Great. Good job. Then he walked over and immediately gave the ball to his son. Because you got to think, this may have been this dad's first time getting a home run balls in entire life. And that's every little kid's dream is to catch a ball or get a ball at a game or something like that. But as opposed to hanging on to the ball for himself because of his childhood dreams or whatever, he makes a core memory for his son and gives his son the ball. son's elated, right? A dad providing for a son in that way. But then the woman comes up to him and I don't think the guy didn't know she was coming. I think he was faking it. But he like pretended to be like a scared child when this woman got in his face. You know that terrible harpy, which was bad. That was just bad to be scared by a woman and to shake your fist like yikes, yikes. Like it was just not a good look. Okay. And then he sits there and essentially just allows her to tongue lash him, which is not great, but if you've ever been dressed down, sometimes you just got to take it, right? Maybe it's from a boss or from someone in your family, who the heck knows. But then he takes the ball out of his child's glove and gives it [clears throat] to that awful woman so that he can just be done with the situation. He literally hands the ball to her and then throws his hands up like this, which was egregious, egregious behavior to reward a woman for being so awful and literally stealing the ball from your own child that just became elated at getting the ball and giving it to that woman. Now, you might say, "But Kyle, it worked out. It worked out. Philly's organization gave him a nice little bag of merch and then he got to meet Harrison Bader and he got some signed stuff. Oh, it all worked out. No. Uh-uh. Because this story shows a lot about and says a lot about that man, the type of man that he is, the cowardly man that he is. That this shrill woman, right? I think this woman is described in Proverbs, and I don't think it's Proverbs 31. He basically bowed down to her. She got all flustered. She got all up in his face with her little haircut and he just folded. He folded like cheap laundry, right? Just folded right in front of her. And so he showed his son like, think about the lessons that that boy learned about his father that night. Think about the lessons that that man's family, the people that live in his house learned about that man. That it doesn't really take much for him to fold, for him to cave. doesn't really make me feel real comfortable that that guy is going to be a protector. I mean, maybe he's a good provider, but it doesn't give me a lot of hope that he's going to be a good provider for the long term. Like, you've heard me say the quote before, lion for them, lamb with them, right? So, you need to be a lamb with your children, but the children need to know that the lion is available. Because in that moment, you don't steal the ball from your son and give it to this horrible woman. Perhaps you take your tongue lashing and then you very calmly say, "I disagree with your opinion. please get out of my face. Right? And if she escalates it, right, if she wants to get violent, you protect yourself and you protect your children. And then you allow the authorities that were already in and around that area to deal with her, right? But I don't think we can rest assured thinking that that guy would ever respond in that way when he's shaking like that at just a woman getting in his face and screaming at him, right? So, if I'm that man's little boy, like, yeah, you ended up having a good night, but he learned some lessons there about his dad. And maybe it didn't sink in immediately. Maybe he has to kind of marinate it in a little bit, but I don't think that kid is is set up for success as it pertains to his father. So, hopefully that was just the worst possible day of that man's life or something like that. And if he could go back, he would change it, but I'm not so sure. All right, last one here. A long episode today, but hopefully y'all have enjoyed it. my picks for the top 10 movie acting performances of the 21st century. So on August the 25th, a website named The Ringer released their list of the 101 best movie performances of the 21st century. So I included it here in the show notes, but again, this is like movie critic stuff. So there's a bunch of performances from actors and actresses that aren't any good, from movies that nobody watched or whatever. But I immediately thought cuz I love lists, right? Making my top 10 list. Oh, best albums ever, best songs ever, favorite this, favorite that. So, I'm coming up. I'm not saying this is the definitive list, but this is my list of the best 10 acting performances from the 21st century. And as I was kind of thinking through this, I apparent there's a lot of movies that came out in the late '9s that can't be included because that's the 20th 20th century. But there were a lot of performances that I couldn't include on this list. But the list is in no particular order, okay, until we get to the very 10th one. Right. So, first performance, Heath Ledger in the Joker or he played the Joker in The Dark Knight in 2008. He stole every single scene, but one of the greatest performances I've ever seen. So, there's that one. The second one, Walken Phoenix also playing the Joker in the Joker movie in 2019. It's kind of crazy because these two guys played the same character in two different movies and simultaneously I can't imagine a different actor playing either one of those guys in those movies. So, just great performances. Third one, Jake Gyllenhaal playing Billy Hope in Southpaw from 2015. Now, this was in an unbelievable run for Jake Gyllenhaal. So Southpaw Nightcrawler, End of Watch, Prisoners, those are like four movies that are in my like top 25. So, if you haven't seen all of those, I highly suggest that you go watch those. I think those were four movies in a row for Jake Gyllenhaal. All right, fourth one here. Javier Bardm who played Anton Shagur for no uh from No Country for Old Men in 2007. One of the best villain performances I've ever seen. Absolutely haunting uh his performance. I'm actually going to be watching that again this week. I'm like literally getting excited because I'm having a little surgery this week. And so later on this week, I'm going to be just, you know, sitting up in a in a bed or something like that. So I'm going to be watching No Country for Old Men. Fifth one here, Denzel Washington. Uh Denzel Washington playing Alonzo from Training Day in 2001. Fantastic performance. Love Denzel. Number six, or again not in any particular order, the sixth one is Kristoff Waltz, who played Colonel Hans Landa from uh In Glorious [inaudible] from 2009. Like just an incredible actor that basically no one had ever seen before that movie. So fantastic performance. The seventh one, Leonardo DiCaprio playing Calvin J. Candy from Django Unchained from 2012. Now he's an awful character, right? Like he's so bad, right? Slave owner, evil, deeply evil man. But Leonardo DiCaprio is a spectacular actor and that is a very very sticky performance. So I love that one. An eighth one here, Brad Pitt playing Billy Bean from Moneyball in 2011. I thought that was a spectacular performance. And here's one that's going to be kind of deep cutish here because a lot of people haven't seen this movie movie, but Rudy Young Bloodood who played Jaguar Paw in Apocalyptto. Okay, so this is a Mel Gibson film from 2006. This is like an Amazonian tribe or or you know and it's you know it's not in English or subtitles. There's not a whole lot of dialogue but Rudy Young Bloodood is incredible in that movie. If you haven't seen Apocalyptto, you have to go see it. And then the 10th one here, this is the one I'm going to put number one, but it's Russell Crowe as Maximus Desimus Meridius, commander of the armies of the north, general of the Felix Legions, loyal servant to the true emperor Marcus Aurelius, father to a murdered son, husband to a murdered wife, and I will have my vengeance in this life or the next. One of the most bone chilling, incredible scenes in the history of cinema cinema. That's from Gladiator. That barely made the list because it came out in the year 2000. That is my favorite movie of all time. Favorite acting performance of all time was Russell Crowe as Maximus. So, if you haven't watched that, go back and watch it. And to all you haters on Gladiator 2, it's not as good as Gladiator 1, but it's actually pretty darn good. So, don't listen to Ryan Horn. Don't listen to any of those other people on the forging table that don't like it. You should give it a go. And guys, we made it all the way to the end and that'll do it for today.
