0:02 - This is Undaunted Life, a man's podcast.
0:21 I'm your host, Kyle Thompson.
0:22 Let's get into it.
0:24 Clap your hands, all peoples.
0:25 Shout to God with loud songs of joy.
0:27 Guys, that is Psalms 417, and that is the same scripture,
0:31 same scripture rather than I used last Thursday
0:33 because I am still very, very excited
0:35 and you should be as well.
0:36 There's a lot of stuff to talk about today
0:38 about the fallout of everything that's happened
0:40 after the drop of the Roe v. Wade decision.
0:42 But guys, before we get to that,
0:43 make sure that you share this episode.
0:45 And not just this episode,
0:46 share this show around other people.
0:48 I get emails every week now from people that are like,
0:50 "Oh my gosh, I didn't know your show
0:51 "until you went on this other guy's show
0:53 "or until my buddy shared it with me."
0:54 And so this is having an impact on a lot of guys
0:56 around the country and around the world frankly.
0:58 And so be the guy that shares it with somebody else.
1:01 And also guys, as I've told you, for the most part,
1:03 the only way we're able to keep the lights on around here
1:05 is because of donations.
1:06 We get a little bit of money from advertising,
1:07 but overwhelmingly it is guys just like you
1:09 that are supporting us.
1:10 So if you like all the work we've done on abortion,
1:13 'cause that's been the DMs and the emails
1:15 that I've been getting is like,
1:15 "Man, I just love what you're doing on abortion.
1:17 "You're equipping me to be able to have these debates
1:19 "with my friends or at my church or at my office place
1:21 "or something like that.
1:22 "The only way we're able to do that is 'cause guys like you
1:24 "hopping on board helping us out."
1:25 So go to undaunted.life/donate.
1:28 That's just on our website, undaunted.life/donate.
1:30 Guys, given everything from five bucks a month
1:32 all the way up to 500 bucks a month
1:33 and everything in between and all over the place.
1:36 We love you guys, we really, really appreciate it.
1:38 And so we're not gonna be doing a quick hitter segment
1:40 this week because we've got way, way, way too much
1:42 to discuss.
1:43 And guys, we're likely gonna get into some great stuff
1:45 next week because the Supreme Court of the United States
1:47 has been on a heater lately.
1:49 And so we need to talk about a lot of those different things,
1:51 but nothing can be bigger than talking about the fallout
1:53 of owner overturning Roe v. Wade in Planned Parenthood
1:56 versus Casey.
1:57 And a little quick aside about that.
1:59 So last week whenever my buddy Brandon called me
2:02 and told me about it, you know, told me the news
2:03 and I immediately did like an Instagram live
2:05 or something like that.
2:06 And I immediately went up and recorded for whatever reason
2:09 on that Instagram live and on last Thursday's episode
2:11 I said Dovie Casey as opposed to Planned Parenthood
2:15 versus Casey.
2:17 Like I don't even know what Dovie Casey is.
2:18 I think it has to do with some like CIA case
2:20 or something like that.
2:21 Whatever reason, Dovie Casey was stuck in my head.
2:24 And so I rerecorded that one little section
2:26 and re uploaded last week's episode,
2:27 but there were probably several thousand of you
2:29 that heard me say Dovie Casey.
2:30 But yes, I do know what I'm talking about.
2:32 I just misspoke.
2:33 So I didn't want to kind of get that out there to you.
2:34 But I'm going to go ahead and read these words
2:36 from Samuel Alito's majority opinion
2:39 because they are really some of the greatest words
2:41 ever written.
2:42 And guys, I will have the entire decision in the show notes.
2:44 Like, you know, there is some legal ease in there,
2:46 but especially just as Thomas's decision.
2:48 Like man, it's just aces,
2:49 but I have to read this from Samuel Alito's
2:51 majority decision here.
2:53 We hold that row in Casey must be overruled.
2:55 The constitution makes no reference to abortion
2:57 and no such right is implicitly protected
2:59 by any constitutional provision,
3:01 including the one on which the defenders of row
3:03 in Casey now chiefly rely.
3:04 The due process clause of the 14th amendment,
3:06 that provision has been held to guarantee rights
3:09 that are not mentioned in the constitution.
3:11 But any such right must be deeply rooted
3:13 in this nation's history and tradition
3:15 and implicit in the concept of ordered liberty.
3:18 So that's basically the those are the words right there
3:21 that made row and Casey go to the trash heap of history.
3:24 Just amazing.
3:25 But it was interesting.
3:26 It's interesting to note this about the dissenting opinions.
3:29 So we had three dissenting justices in this opinion.
3:31 That's Elena Kagan, Sonia Sotomayor and Stephen Breyer
3:34 who's about to be leaving the court
3:35 for Cantonji Brown Jackson.
3:37 But basically in their dissents,
3:40 they give their dissenting opinions
3:41 and they're not using a single constitutionally based argument.
3:45 Like none at all.
3:47 Again, you could read it right there in the decisions
3:49 in the entire court opinion
3:50 because there is no constitutional right to an abortion.
3:54 Because in actuality, nobody,
3:56 including the three dissenting Supreme Court justices
3:59 are making a legal or judicially based claim
4:02 as to why Roe v. Wade should not have been struck down.
4:05 It was all, you know, feelings and precedent.
4:08 And again, precedent is only important
4:10 to these people when it's something that they like,
4:11 when it's a decision that they don't like
4:13 or something that, you know, is clearly unjust.
4:15 They're, you know, they're all about precedent then,
4:17 but right now they're, they're trying to force precedent in
4:19 and they're, they're not saying that it's a good thing.
4:21 Like it's just, it's a whole bunch of nonsense.
4:23 And right from the jump here guys in here in a second,
4:25 I'm going to give you kind of the rundown
4:26 of what today's episode's going to be.
4:28 Let me tell you what I'm not going to be doing today.
4:31 Okay, the first thing I'm not going to be doing
4:32 is a deep dive into the legal breakdown
4:36 of the Dobbs v. Jackson women's health case, okay?
4:39 So the reason is is because that's not really my forte, right?
4:43 So I'm not a lawyer.
4:44 I don't understand a lot of the legales.
4:46 I'm also not going to be doing a deep dive
4:48 of the reactions by woke lefty Christians.
4:51 I will have a little bit of that in here,
4:53 but I'm not doing a deep, deep dive into that, okay?
4:56 So I did my immediate reactions last Thursday.
4:58 So I'm not giving you immediate reactions now.
5:00 I'm going to go a little bit deeper.
5:01 But for your edification,
5:02 I'm going to refer you to a couple of different folks
5:05 for kind of the legal breakdown
5:06 and then kind of the woke lefty breakdown.
5:07 So I thought that Ben Shapiro on last week's episode,
5:10 it was episode 15, 22, goodbye Roe v. Wade.
5:13 He did a great job of breaking down kind of the legal standards
5:16 that we're using in this case.
5:17 And then in terms of the woke lefty Christian breakdown stuff,
5:19 I'm going to refer you to my buddy, John Cooper,
5:21 because of an episode 118 of Cooper stuff entitled,
5:25 "Goodbye, Roe, my emotional roller coaster."
5:27 He basically hammered a lot of these woke Christians
5:30 and kind of the stuff that they're doing.
5:31 And so I don't really just want to repeat
5:33 the things that they're saying.
5:34 So I will have a link in the show notes
5:36 to Ben Shapiro's episode and to John Cooper's episode.
5:38 But here's what I'm going to be going over today
5:40 for this podcast so you can kind of know where we're going.
5:43 So I'm going to give the immediate reactions to the news
5:45 that we got from all over the place.
5:47 The narratives that have come out
5:49 since the Dobbs decision was handed down.
5:51 The narratives that should have come out
5:53 since the Dobbs decision was handed down.
5:55 What we can expect to see and need to watch for.
5:58 And then I've got just a few random thoughts
6:00 and then at the end, that's where the rubber
6:01 really, really meets the road.
6:02 And that's the work that needs to be done now
6:05 on the pro-life side, on the Christian side of this issue.
6:08 Now also, in case you don't listen to the entire episode,
6:10 I want to make sure you know this,
6:11 that there are going to be some resources
6:12 that will equip you guys mentally and spiritually
6:14 to push back against pro-abortion rhetoric.
6:16 All these things are going to be in the show notes.
6:18 So episode 257 of this podcast,
6:20 it's called How to Engage Pro-abortion Arguments.
6:22 It's one of the most important episodes we've ever done,
6:23 perhaps the most important episode that we've ever done.
6:26 You can really dig into the different arguments.
6:28 And so today I'm not going to be doing a lot of debunking
6:30 of pro-abortion arguments because I've done that
6:32 so often before, but episode 257.
6:34 But also a couple of books that really influenced me
6:36 in this particular topic.
6:37 So it's a book, Abortion by the Great RC Sproul.
6:40 And then also the book What to Say Win
6:42 by Sean Carney and Steve Carlin.
6:43 These books are great resources to kind of equip you
6:46 to think about this issue in a spiritual way,
6:47 but also to think about it in a rhetorical way
6:49 to where you can push back against these things.
6:51 And also before we start digging into immediate reactions
6:53 and everything, there are a lot of people
6:55 that deserve our gratitude for Roe v. Wade
6:58 and for Planned Parenthood versus Casey being overturned.
7:01 So the first is not technically a person,
7:03 but the first is God, obviously.
7:05 God was able to do so many things to be able to allow us
7:09 to have this happen, that it's only by his sovereignty
7:12 that we have the ability to even be excited
7:14 about what's happening right now.
7:16 Also, all of the people that have dedicated their time,
7:18 energy and money to the pro-life cause
7:21 over the last almost 50 years.
7:23 There are a lot of people that have been a part
7:24 of this cause that are not here anymore,
7:26 that did not get to see this day,
7:28 but it's because of all those incremental things
7:30 that we've done over time.
7:31 I know some of you are like incrementalism bad,
7:33 but all those incremental things done over time
7:35 got us to where we were last Friday.
7:37 Also, the justices that voted to completely overturn
7:41 and overrule Roe and Casey.
7:43 So suck it, John Roberts,
7:44 one of the only spineless jellyfish that he is,
7:47 he was not technically a part of that.
7:48 He voted for the Dobbs decision,
7:49 but not to overturn Roe and Casey.
7:51 So the justices that voted for completely overturning
7:54 those unbelievably terrible cases were Samuel Alito,
7:57 Clarence Thomas, the goat, Neil Gorsuch,
7:59 Brett Kavanaugh and Amy Coney Barrett.
8:02 And the courage it took for them to do this,
8:05 after the leak, the courage,
8:07 especially for a guy like Kavanaugh,
8:08 there was someone tried to kill Justice Kavanaugh at his home,
8:12 right?
8:12 And they still had the courage to go through with this.
8:14 So they definitely deserve a lot of praise in our gratitude.
8:18 Also, George W. Bush,
8:20 for nominating the guy that wrote the majority opinion,
8:22 Samuel Alito, his father, George H.W. Bush,
8:25 for nominating the goat, Clarence Thomas
8:28 and putting him on the court.
8:29 And then Donald J. Trump for nominating Neil Gorsuch,
8:32 Brett Kavanaugh and Amy Coney Barrett in that order.
8:35 But also one other person that I really thought about
8:37 in terms of all this was cocaine Mitch McConnell, okay?
8:40 Senator from Kentucky,
8:42 he did some finagling towards the end
8:44 of the Obama administration that kept Merrick Garland
8:47 off of the court.
8:48 And because of what he did,
8:50 he also was able to get Amy Coney Barrett on the court.
8:54 So a lot of Republicans, for whatever reason,
8:55 don't like Mitch McConnell, you know, whatever.
8:57 But I will always remember Mitch McConnell
9:01 for doing the things that he could do in the Senate
9:03 to make sure that an extremist like Merrick Garland
9:06 did not end up on the court
9:07 and it opened the door for ACB.
9:09 But also and again, before we get into everything again,
9:11 we're going to cover a lot of ground today.
9:13 We cannot forget that over 60 million babies were murdered
9:18 because of the almost 50 year reign
9:23 of Roe v. Wade in this country.
9:24 There's a lot of chest bump
9:27 and a lot of high five been going on right now.
9:28 And I'm all for it.
9:29 I'm here for all of it.
9:31 But man, I just think about that number.
9:34 There are, if you count everyone that's here,
9:36 legally or illegally in this country,
9:37 it's about 350 million people.
9:39 60 million have been murdered over about 50 years.
9:42 We're killing on average a million babies a year
9:46 in this country, okay?
9:48 That can't be forgotten.
9:49 But let's go ahead and get into the immediate reactions
9:51 to the news.
9:52 So immediately there were trigger laws in states
9:55 that went into effect all over the country.
9:56 So let's break down where the states are right now
9:58 'cause this is very, very, very important.
10:00 So a quick note from the beginning is no state
10:02 will technically be 100% in terms of banning abortion
10:06 because every single state in the union right now
10:09 has an allowance for abortion to quote unquote,
10:11 save the life of the mother,
10:13 which as I've explained before, is not a real category.
10:16 There is not something that can happen
10:17 not in ectopic pregnancy, not septic uterus,
10:20 not, you know, into our chromium immunitis
10:25 or like there's nothing that could happen with the mother
10:27 where the only thing that you can do from a medical side
10:30 is kill the baby that's inside of her.
10:31 That is a falsehood that's been spread out all over the place,
10:34 but to save the life of the mother,
10:35 it's not technically a category anymore,
10:37 but let's go ahead and get into the breakdown of the states.
10:39 So here are the states that as of right now
10:41 have a total ban except to save the mother.
10:43 So that's Alabama, Arkansas, Kentucky, Louisiana, Texas,
10:48 Missouri, South Dakota, Wisconsin, and West Virginia.
10:51 Now here are the states that have a near total ban
10:54 except to save the mother and then also in the cases
10:57 of rape or incest.
10:58 So you have my state, Oklahoma, Mississippi, Idaho, Utah,
11:02 Tennessee, North Dakota, and Wyoming.
11:05 Then here are the states that have pre viability abortion ban.
11:08 So by viability, they technically mean about 22 weeks
11:11 'cause that's about, you know,
11:12 usually the laws are between 22 and 24 weeks
11:15 because that's when a baby can with help live outside the womb.
11:17 So think heartbeat bills.
11:19 So here are the states that have those things on the books.
11:21 That's Ohio, Arizona, Florida, Georgia, North Carolina,
11:25 South Carolina, Indiana, Nebraska, and Iowa.
11:28 So that is half the states that's 25 states
11:30 with some kind of an abortion ban, you know,
11:32 a significant abortion ban if you can call it that.
11:35 But then we have to get into the states
11:36 that have other categories.
11:37 So here are the bans up to the point of viability, okay?
11:40 Bands up to that point, not pre viability,
11:42 but up to that point.
11:43 So Montana, Pennsylvania, New Hampshire, Kansas, and Virginia.
11:48 Then we get into the very states
11:50 with very, very few restrictions even after viability.
11:53 So that's Maryland, California, Hawaii, Delaware,
11:56 Connecticut, Illinois, Maine, Massachusetts, New York,
12:00 Rhode Island, Wisconsin, Michigan, and Nevada.
12:03 And then we get into the worst of the worst states.
12:05 These are the states with no restrictions whatsoever
12:07 on abortion.
12:08 That's New Jersey, Oregon, Alaska, Colorado, Minnesota,
12:12 New Mexico, and Vermont.
12:14 So a quick note here, there will still be some movements
12:17 in a lot of these states, okay?
12:18 So some states are going to be moving to change
12:21 their state constitutions to enshrine the right to abortion
12:25 while other states are going to move to ban abortions completely.
12:28 We're going to see a lot of moving parts here
12:29 over the next several months.
12:30 We're having sessions, you know, state houses
12:32 that were out of session that are being brought
12:34 into session to talk into this.
12:35 And so technically everything in between
12:37 is going to be up in the air at this point,
12:39 but that's kind of where we sit right now.
12:40 But some other reactions here.
12:42 Co-President Biden was woken up from his third nap
12:44 of the morning to give, and he was given this news.
12:46 They wheeled him out in front of the camera
12:48 long enough for him to say how disappointed he was
12:51 in this decision.
12:52 You know, he actually said, you know, abortion
12:54 is going to be on the ballot in November.
12:55 And again, as I've said on the show before,
12:57 people really vote emotionally.
12:58 So maybe this will have an impact on the electorate,
13:02 but it seems clear that right now people are going
13:04 to be voting with gas prices and inflation in mind.
13:07 But, you know, we'll see in November.
13:09 Biden called last Friday's decision a sad day, okay?
13:13 And the fact that he called it a sad day,
13:14 that was a direct quote, should tell you everything
13:17 you need to know about this guy's supposed Catholic faith.
13:20 He's such a deeply devout Catholic.
13:22 And yet he called it a sad day
13:24 when the United States Supreme Court decided to hand
13:28 the decision back to states as to whether or not
13:29 they should be able to kill babies, sad day.
13:31 Also, his administration made the almost immediate move
13:35 to allow federal employees to have their sick days
13:38 covered if they need to leave the state for quote unquote,
13:41 healthcare, okay?
13:43 So considering the timing of this
13:44 and considering the language of that,
13:46 this is clearly about people that need to leave the state
13:49 for abortion.
13:50 This is technically a breach of the Hyde Amendment,
13:52 which is where the federal government cannot fund abortion.
13:55 But again, Joe Biden spent 40 years of his life saying,
13:57 yes, Hyde Amendment good.
13:58 And until five seconds ago, he's like,
14:00 now, you know, Hyde Amendment bad.
14:02 But, you know, we don't know if that's actually gonna come
14:03 to court or something like that.
14:04 But that is technically a breach of that amendment.
14:07 Also some reactions prominent Democrats,
14:10 like Speaker of the House Nancy Pelosi
14:11 and Senator Elizabeth Warren,
14:13 they've called for the ending of the filibuster in the Senate
14:15 and to his credit or maybe just by he said it by accident,
14:19 co-president Biden said he wasn't considering a push for that,
14:21 but that was an immediate reaction.
14:23 Another reaction is like magic.
14:25 This was, this was truly magical, okay?
14:28 That this was like watching David Blaine up close.
14:31 Every leftist in Democrat in the country
14:34 remembered what a woman is.
14:35 And we'll talk way more about that here in a second,
14:38 but that was like the immediate reaction.
14:39 It's like, all this talk of women's rights
14:41 and what are women gonna do?
14:42 And women are gonna die.
14:42 It's like, do you hear yourself?
14:45 Have you been hearing the stuff you've been saying?
14:47 The rest of Pride Month, which guys,
14:49 isn't this the best way to cap off of Pride Month,
14:51 turning it from Pride Month into life month?
14:53 I mean, I think it's great.
14:54 Some other reactions, protests all over the country.
14:56 So especially in DC outside the Supreme Court.
14:59 But up to this point,
15:01 and there are a lot of entities
15:02 that are kind of like paying attention to this,
15:05 the protests have not been as bad
15:06 as I thought they were gonna be, okay?
15:08 So, protestors essentially held politicians captive
15:11 in the Arizona State House and that was terrible and horrific.
15:14 There was a cop that was set ablaze
15:17 by this guy that was using like a flamethrower
15:18 in Los Angeles, absolutely horrific.
15:20 I think the cop did survive.
15:22 But we haven't seen what I was expecting to see,
15:24 which was basically George Floyd's summer all over.
15:26 It's still to be seen, we're not even a week out.
15:28 So we have to kind of keep paying attention to that.
15:30 But there are a lot of democratic politicians out there
15:32 that are using very insurrection-y type language.
15:35 They're just kind of throwing it out there, you know,
15:37 fight like hell, we've got to fight back
15:39 and we've got to do all these different things.
15:40 Basically the same things they got onto Trump for saying,
15:42 right before the January 6th, you know,
15:44 storming in the Capitol, right?
15:46 But hey, that's neither here nor there apparently.
15:48 Another reaction is abortion clinics
15:49 in several states immediately.
15:51 Like that morning, last Friday morning,
15:53 they paused their planned baby executions
15:56 that they had on the books for that morning.
15:58 I mean, the same morning that the Dobbs decision
16:00 was handed down, they paused all of their murders,
16:04 which I mean, I mean, super duper praise God
16:06 for that one, right?
16:07 But then we also had some reactions from many Christians,
16:10 Christian churches and, you know, Christian organizations,
16:12 they showed their full-throated excitement
16:15 over the news.
16:16 But there were a lot that didn't, okay?
16:20 And that's something that we need to be paying attention to
16:23 because something that I put out on social media is that
16:25 if your pastor did not mention anything
16:26 about the Roe v. Wade decision being overturned
16:29 this past weekend, you should maybe be wary
16:32 of that man over time.
16:34 Because that doesn't mean you have to get rid
16:36 of whatever you're gonna be talking about that Sunday,
16:38 but you should at least address it, right?
16:40 I mean, you ultimately should address it.
16:41 There was some [inaudible] on Instagram
16:43 that's kind of in the same space that I am
16:44 that is like, you shouldn't be telling pastors
16:46 what they should or shouldn't say
16:47 and all these different things.
16:48 And it's like, well, yeah, I can tell my pastor
16:51 you should say this.
16:52 I can technically do whatever I want, right?
16:55 It's whether the pastor takes it under advisement.
16:57 But if a pastor is not showing
16:59 tremendous amounts of excitement over this,
17:01 like, yes, you should be worried about that person
17:02 because ultimately, aside from the Emancipation Proclamation,
17:06 this was the biggest legislative achievement
17:10 in the history of the United States
17:11 that was mainly pushed by Christians.
17:14 Like, can you name me another one
17:16 that was this significant?
17:17 Because again, it was mainly Christians for these 50 years
17:20 that were pushing to get Roe v. Wade overturned, right?
17:23 Why, why in the world would we not celebrate that?
17:26 Again, at my church, right, there were just,
17:29 there was a mention during the prayer
17:30 and a mention at the very beginning of the sermon.
17:32 And then my pastor got back into talking about Proverbs.
17:34 Totally fine, he acknowledged it, right?
17:36 And then there were certain pastors
17:37 that just crumbled up their sermon for that Sunday
17:40 and just said, hey, we're gonna do,
17:41 we're gonna push the schedule back
17:42 and we're gonna talk about that this week.
17:44 And I thought that would be amazing.
17:45 But also one little side note is,
17:46 where are all the pro-lifers for Biden people?
17:49 They seem to be awfully quiet right now,
17:51 these people that just, you know,
17:52 they couldn't get behind Trump, right?
17:54 Even though he's one of the main reasons
17:55 why this even happened, but where are they now?
17:58 Isn't that interesting?

18:29 - Also, immediate reactions.
18:31 We had companies all over the United States, okay?
18:35 They immediately began stumbling over themselves
18:37 to announce that they would be paying for the women
18:40 that work at their companies to kill their unborn babies
18:43 if they so decided to, but didn't have access
18:47 to an assassin in the state that they currently resided, okay?
18:50 So here's a list of companies,
18:51 and these are in no particular order,
18:53 but there's maybe even more since, you know,
18:55 I started putting these notes together a few weeks ago,
18:57 but I am keeping a list of the companies
18:59 that will pay for women to murder their babies.
19:01 Disney, Tesla, Lulu Lemon, Dix,
19:04 more on them here in a second, Comcast,
19:06 that's NBC Universal, City Group, Salesforce,
19:09 Match Group, Bumble, Lyft, Microsoft, Apple,
19:13 Meta, Yelp, Uber, Netflix, Box.com, Levi Strauss,
19:17 Warner Brothers Discovery, Nike, Starbucks,
19:20 Kroger, Alaska Airlines, Zillow, Goldman Sachs, Amazon,
19:24 Reddit, DoorDash, Airbnb, MasterCard, Patagonia, PayPal,
19:28 JP Morgan Chase, Bank of America, and Match.com.
19:31 And more seemingly being announced every day, okay?
19:34 There was even an open letter that went around,
19:36 so apparently Amazon employees went a step further.
19:39 They sent an open letter to the company's management,
19:41 demanding that their employees get time off to mourn
19:45 the ending of Roe v. Wade.
19:47 Also, they demanded that the company stop operating
19:50 completely in states with pro-life laws, okay?
19:52 So that's the thing that happened.
19:53 But let's talk about Dix, which is, you know, aptly named.
19:56 There was a joint statement that was released by Ed Stack
19:59 who's the former CEO, long-time CEO of Dix Sporting Goods,
20:01 and Lauren Hobert, who is the current CEO.
20:03 So I just have to read this entire thing
20:05 because it was making the rounds,
20:07 and it's absolutely astonishing,
20:08 and then we'll kind of break it down.
20:10 Dear teammates, you are the heart of our business,
20:12 and we are committed to protecting your health and wellbeing.
20:15 Today, the Supreme Court announced the decision
20:16 to overturn Roe v. Wade, removing the federal right
20:19 to an abortion and leaving the decision up to each state.
20:22 While we do not know what that decision at each state
20:25 will make in response to this ruling,
20:26 we at Dix Sporting Goods are prepared to ensure
20:28 that all teammates have consistent and safe access
20:31 to the benefits we provide, regardless of the state
20:33 in which you live, and this is in bold here in their letter.
20:36 In response to today's ruling,
20:37 we are announcing that if the state
20:40 that you live in restricts access to abortion,
20:43 Dix Sporting Goods will provide up to $4,000
20:46 in travel expense reimbursement
20:47 to travel to the nearest location
20:49 where that care is legally available.
20:51 This benefit will be provided to any teammate, spouse,
20:54 or dependent enrolled in our medical plan,
20:56 along with one support person.
20:58 We recognize people feel passionately about this topic
21:00 and that there are teammates and athletes
21:02 who will not agree with this decision.
21:03 However, we also recognize that decisions
21:05 involving health and families are deeply personal
21:07 and made with thoughtful consideration.
21:10 We are making this decision on our,
21:12 so our teammates can access the same health care options,
21:14 regardless of where they live,
21:15 so choose and can choose what is best for them.
21:18 Okay, so that's from Dix Sporting Goods.
21:20 So the interesting thing about Dix
21:22 and all these other companies
21:24 is that they are willing to pay thousands of dollars
21:27 for women to leave the state that they're in
21:30 in order to kill their babies, okay?
21:33 They're willing to do that.
21:35 But most of these companies have terrible
21:38 or non-existent maternity policies.
21:41 Dix Sporting Goods, in particular,
21:43 they don't have a maternity policy.
21:45 You essentially don't get paid for that time
21:47 or you just have to take the time off
21:48 or you just end up not working there, okay?
21:51 So essentially, they want you to kill your kid
21:54 so that you can stay at work.
21:55 This is Dix in the rest of them.
21:56 They want you to kill your kids so you can stay at work
21:58 and allow them, the company, to profit off of your work,
22:01 and they will financially incentivize you to do so.
22:05 But if you choose to have the kid,
22:08 they don't really care to help you.
22:09 That's not really what they're there for.
22:11 They don't really care about their maternity policy.
22:12 They'd much rather show out the money
22:14 for you to kill your kid.
22:15 So these companies would rather pay a few thousand bucks
22:17 here or there to have a woman kill her baby
22:20 than to potentially lose her productivity
22:22 for a few months or potentially for life.
22:24 That's what this is, okay?
22:25 So to be clear, these companies do not care
22:27 about women at all.
22:28 Like a lot of people like, oh, this is great.
22:29 This is so wonderful.
22:31 These people care about women.
22:31 No, no, no, they don't care about these women at all.
22:33 These companies care about money, okay?
22:36 And if a woman has more children,
22:39 then the likelihood of her being more loyal to her family
22:42 than to her company goes up considerably.
22:44 I mean, obviously they know that.
22:46 And so this is just basic mathematics.
22:48 It is much cheaper to pay a woman to kill her child
22:52 than to pay for her maternity leave
22:54 and to pay for an additional person
22:55 that's gonna be added to the health insurance plan, okay?
22:58 This is the altruism,
23:00 not by any stretch of the imagination.
23:02 And these companies are being praised for it,
23:04 which just think about how crazy that is.
23:06 We want you to kill your kids.
23:08 And hey, it's no big deal, right?
23:09 That's just kind of crazy.
23:11 But one of the members of my team here at Undaunted Life,
23:13 they said something to me along these lines.
23:15 It was in reference to all these women, you know,
23:17 walking around and handmaids tail outfits
23:19 outside the Supreme Court and all these different things.
23:21 They're pretending like they're living in a United States
23:24 that that is just absolutely all over them, right?
23:27 But the thing about it is pretending like the life
23:31 they're living right now in the US
23:32 is anything at all, like what is described
23:35 in the women from the novel is absurd, okay?
23:38 But what my buddy was talking about
23:39 is how dystopian it is that modern companies
23:42 are paying women to kill their children
23:45 so they can stay at work and be more productive.
23:47 That's the handmaid's tail.
23:49 That's the dystopian novel, right?
23:52 That's more like the handmaid's tail
23:53 than anything we've seen in modern society, okay?
23:56 And a little side note before we move off this reaction.
23:59 If you live in one of these murder vacation states
24:01 because a lot of states came out immediately
24:03 and we're like, "Hey, come to our state."
24:04 No, we'll use taxpayer funding
24:05 to make sure you can come here and kill your baby
24:07 or if you're living in one of these states
24:08 that is near a state that is banning this
24:10 and you know, Dick's Sporting Goods
24:11 is sending people over into your state to kill their babies.
24:14 So states like California, Illinois, New Jersey, Connecticut
24:17 and so on, they're gonna start advertising
24:20 for these women to travel to their state
24:22 to get an abortion.
24:22 They're gonna be using your taxpayer dollars to do that.
24:25 So those of you that live there,
24:27 then you really should consider moving
24:30 because your tax dollars are going to be directly paying
24:33 for women to have a vacation in your city
24:36 with a baby in their stomach
24:38 and to leave without one in their stomach.
24:40 I mean, that's pretty rough.
24:43 And I don't know your situation
24:46 and you know, I don't know where you live
24:48 and I don't know how easy it's gonna be for you to move
24:50 and I don't know your family situation and all that.
24:52 But of all the things that can make somebody wanna move,
24:55 that's pretty high up there.
24:57 All right, so mother reactions,
24:58 there was a steady spread of disinformation that we saw.
25:00 You know, a lot of people are spreading crap
25:02 about ectopic pregnancies.
25:03 It's septic uterus and miscarriages saying
25:05 that these women will be charged criminally
25:07 if those things happen.
25:08 All those things are a lie.
25:10 All those things are completely a lie.
25:11 So let's talk about, you know, miscarriages,
25:13 you know, with the DNC.
25:14 So basically, let's say you miscarried
25:16 and my wife had two miscarriages.
25:17 So I know something about it.
25:19 I know a lot of people that have had miscarriages
25:21 that the baby died inside the woman,
25:23 they had to get a DNC.
25:24 So they basically had to have the baby scraped out
25:26 of the uterus in pieces.
25:28 The baby's already dead from miscarriage, okay?
25:31 None of the laws on the books,
25:33 almost 25 states that have decent, you know,
25:35 bandings of different abortions
25:37 would apply to that situation at all.
25:39 So it's complete, farce, it's complete disinformation.
25:42 Also, no state will have a law on a book on the books
25:45 that will criminalize a woman for trying to get an abortion,
25:48 okay?
25:49 Now I vehemently disagree with this, okay?
25:51 Because the only people that are criminalized
25:53 in any of these laws around the country are the doctors.
25:56 But think about it in any other scenario.
25:59 If I pay some dude off the street to kill my wife, right?
26:03 Whether he does so or not, I go down for that as well.
26:07 If he falls through with that murder and he gets caught,
26:10 he's gonna point at me and be like,
26:11 well, that guy gave me 10 grand to do it, right?
26:13 So he's gonna go down and I'm gonna go down for that, okay?
26:16 But somehow it's different when a woman
26:18 pays an assassin for 500 bucks to do it.
26:21 Also one more thing on the disinformation front,
26:24 there's a fundamental misunderstanding
26:25 about what an abortion is, okay?
26:27 So abortion is the intentional
26:29 and targeted destruction of an innocent human life, okay?
26:32 The intentional and targeted destruction
26:34 of an innocent human life,
26:35 treating a woman for an ectopic pregnancy,
26:38 or tubal pregnancy, like, or any of those other things,
26:41 it's not an abortion at all, not at all.
26:44 Like in all cases, the doctors should work
26:46 to preserve the baby's life and the mother's life.
26:48 And in a lot of cases, like, especially with ectopic,
26:51 I think there's a 0% chance a baby can survive that
26:53 'cause we don't currently have the technology
26:55 to flush the baby out of the fallopian tube
26:57 so it can be implanted in the uterus.
26:59 So again, people are just throwing these things out there
27:01 and they're basically speaking nonsense.
27:03 So a couple more reactions I wanna get into
27:05 is we saw a bunch of opinions rolling in
27:08 from leaders from around the globe.
27:09 So side note, I mean, who gives a crap
27:11 what these people think about our laws?
27:14 Like they don't live here, they can't vote here,
27:16 they shouldn't care what I think about their laws, why?
27:18 Because I don't live there and I can't vote there, okay?
27:20 So I'm gonna talk about a couple of these people.
27:22 The first person is from Emmanuel Macron,
27:24 so he's the president of France.
27:25 He had this to say, after the Dopp's decision came down,
27:27 quote, "Abortion is a fundamental right for all women,
27:29 "it must be protected.
27:30 "I wish to express my solidarity with the women
27:33 "whose liberties are being undermined
27:34 "by the Supreme Court of the United States," unquote.
27:36 So, fun fact, the Dopp's case, which is a case here
27:40 in question, but that the Supreme Court ruled on,
27:42 was looking at the question of whether or not
27:44 the state of Mississippi could ban abortions
27:47 after 15 weeks of pregnancy, okay?
27:50 That was the crux of this entire case.
27:52 The current law on abortion in France
27:55 concerning legal abortions,
27:58 they've criminalized abortions after 14 weeks.
28:00 Whoopsies.
28:04 So here he is complaining about the plight
28:06 of these American women, but apparently he has no idea
28:08 what was even being considered in this decision.
28:11 And then you have the dictator of Canada, Justin Trudeau.
28:13 He said that American women are welcome in his country
28:16 of Canada to protect their rights to bodily autonomy.
28:20 But at the same time, I find that very interesting
28:22 because these women can't enter the country
28:24 unless they're vaccinated.
28:26 So, if it has to do with them killing the baby
28:28 that's inside them, that is not part of their body,
28:30 bodily autonomy counts, but when it comes to, you know,
28:33 basically injecting an experimental drug into your arm,
28:36 that's super-duper counts in terms of, you know,
28:38 that doesn't count, I guess,
28:39 in terms of bodily autonomy.
28:40 So, it's kind of hard to keep all that straight,
28:41 but those are the reactions,
28:43 kind of the immediate reactions that we saw.
28:45 Now, we need to get into the narratives
28:47 that have come out since the opposite decision
28:49 was handed down because everything is about narrative,
28:51 especially when the mainstream media
28:52 has anything to do with it.
28:53 So, the first thing, this is not really,
28:54 necessarily the mainstream media,
28:56 this is mainly coming from Christians.
28:57 It's that Christians really should not be dunking
29:00 on this issue.
29:02 We shouldn't be high-five and we shouldn't be chest-bumping.
29:04 And again, John Cooper goes into great detail on that
29:07 in his episode of Cooper Stuff.
29:08 Again, it's in the show notes,
29:09 but there was a tweet from the gospel coalition
29:11 that came out in the last couple of days and it said this.
29:14 Now isn't the time for the church to beat its chest
29:16 and celebration of a victory in the culture war.
29:19 This is a moment for us to step up in love.
29:22 Again, something called the gospel coalition,
29:25 talking about love, not defining it, just implying it
29:28 because they assume all of us understand,
29:29 but why shouldn't we be excited about this?
29:32 Again, the biggest legislative thing
29:34 since the Emancipation Proclamation
29:36 that was basically pushed by Christians is this.
29:39 But that's the narrative.
29:39 As Christians, really shouldn't be dunking on this.
29:41 We should be focusing on all these other issues,
29:43 but I don't wanna take any of the sting away from John Cooper.
29:45 Make sure you check out his episode.
29:47 Another thing that we're seeing in terms of narratives
29:49 is that women will die.
29:51 Women are gonna die now.
29:52 I hope you're happy.
29:53 Women will die.
29:54 First of all, what is a woman?
29:56 Do you wanna engage with that at all?
30:00 'Cause it's gonna kinda go against a worldview.
30:02 So let's be careful in the words we use.
30:04 And to answer that is, no, they won't.
30:07 Tons more females, right?
30:08 They have the potential to grow into women
30:11 will not be slaughtered now.
30:13 That's a good thing.
30:14 And again, you do not need an abortion
30:17 in order to save your life if you're a woman.
30:19 It's not true.
30:20 It is a complete lie, okay?
30:22 Another narrative does come out.
30:24 There's been an overwhelming focus
30:26 on quote unquote women's rights, okay?
30:29 Now, this is still June after all.
30:32 I thought men could get pregnant too.
30:34 I mean, this seems deeply and oddly bigoted
30:38 to be talking so much about women's rights,
30:40 especially during Pride Month.
30:43 I personally am phlegmics and embarrassed and offended.
30:47 I'm all those things all at once.
30:49 'Cause you hear a bunch of idiots saying,
30:51 you know, it's supposed to be a decision
30:52 between a woman and her doctor.
30:54 Well, yeah, if she's banging her doctor,
30:56 because here's the other thing, again,
30:57 people don't think about this issue
30:59 for longer than 14 seconds at a time.
31:01 Women aren't typically going to their primary care physician
31:04 or their family doctor or their OBGYN
31:06 to get this murder done.
31:08 They're not.
31:09 They have to find this hired gun
31:11 and this hired gun doctor
31:13 who wears a white coat covered in blood
31:15 basically specializes in this depraved act.
31:18 Oh, it's just a decision between a woman and her doctor,
31:21 really?
31:22 And again, I keep hearing about all the rights of the mother.
31:25 But one thing that never comes up in this discussion,
31:27 I don't wanna get too far off, I'll come back.
31:30 But something that's never brought up
31:31 are the rights of the father.
31:33 Essentially, it's because the father has no legal say
31:38 as to whether or not his baby is murdered, right?
31:40 He can't say, no, you can't have this abortion.
31:42 He has no rights to stop the woman from doing that.
31:45 However, that same man can be imprisoned
31:49 if he doesn't financially care for the baby after birth.
31:53 At the very least he's gonna have his wages garnished.
31:56 But we don't wanna ever get to talk about that, right?
31:59 Because that's somehow beyond the pale.
32:01 But again, it takes two to tango in these scenarios,
32:04 but dad doesn't get a say.
32:05 That seems pretty apt up.
32:06 Also, some people are trying to dunk on this whole thing
32:10 by saying, oh yeah, well, if you're going to force women
32:13 to be pregnant, you should probably force men
32:16 that impregnate them to start paying child support immediately.
32:19 And they think they're dunking.
32:20 And I'm like, yeah, I mean, I'm super cool with that.
32:25 Let's have these men start taking care of these women
32:27 as soon as they impregnate them.
32:29 I'm all for it.
32:30 But also, we already have a process
32:32 by which this happens naturally.
32:35 It's called marriage.
32:37 I know it's kind of old fashioned to me
32:39 to even mention that word.
32:41 But if you weren't just screwing everything that walked
32:43 and risking getting pregnant
32:45 just because you love your sexual freedom or something, right?
32:48 If you do this within the confines of a marriage,
32:51 as you can imagine, the rates of abortion inside married houses
32:56 between married couples is incredibly, incredibly low
32:59 compared to just the general populace, okay?
33:02 But then we also saw this narrative shift.
33:04 There's an overwhelming focus on reproductive rights
33:08 or reproductive freedom.
33:10 But again, this shows that these people
33:11 don't think much on this issue.
33:13 And they also don't understand what reproduction means.
33:16 Because if you don't,
33:16 if you understand what reproduction means,
33:18 you know when it happens.
33:19 So the moment the sperm cell meets the egg cell
33:22 and creates a one celled zygote that has all of the DNA
33:25 and all the genetic code of that person
33:28 that will basically map out the rest of their life.
33:31 Tell us how tall they're gonna be,
33:32 what eye color they're gonna have,
33:33 you know what color hair they're gonna have
33:34 and how coarse it is and how thick it is.
33:36 It's all there in that exact one moment.
33:38 At that moment, reproduction has occurred.
33:41 So as the baby's growing in your stomach,
33:45 you don't get to decide whether or not to reproduce,
33:47 you've already done so.
33:49 So this focus on reproductive rights is nonsense, okay?
33:52 Also, a narrative being pushed
33:54 is that the Supreme Court of the United States is radical
33:56 or it's activist or it's extremist now, okay?
34:00 So the justices are being called extremists
34:04 for returning the rights of the people back to the people.
34:09 That's an extremist activist position, okay?
34:14 'Cause essentially they took something
34:15 out of the judge's hands and out of the federal government's
34:17 hands and they put it in the hands of each individual voter
34:20 in each individual state.
34:22 And this is supposed to be a bad thing?
34:25 We're supposed to look at this and be like,
34:26 oh, this is terrible.
34:27 Let's keep it in the federal government's hands.
34:30 Really?
34:30 And it is interesting that all these liberal people
34:34 that are calling for the expansion of the Supreme Court
34:36 because you would think they would want this
34:38 to be a neutral thing, right?
34:40 This is a radical conservative Supreme Court, right?
34:42 But the interesting thing is that they're doing this
34:46 because of the supposed extreme conservative majority,
34:49 but none of them want a neutral court.
34:50 They want an extreme liberal majority on the court.
34:53 Again, this is why worldview matters
34:56 because they will call you radical activists and extremists
34:59 if they don't agree with you,
35:00 but they're not gonna call themselves that.
35:02 So if they get rid of the filibuster
35:04 and add, you know, seven more people to the Supreme Court
35:06 or something like that,
35:07 like they're not gonna call that radical
35:09 or activist or extremist,
35:10 especially if those justices vote the way that they like.
35:13 So another narrative shift we've seen
35:15 is the Supreme Court of the United States,
35:16 you know, removed a fundamental constitutional right
35:20 from women in our country.
35:21 You know, our women are the only, you know,
35:23 our daughters are now waking up
35:24 and having less rights than their grandparents did
35:26 or something like that.
35:28 Well, if you're one of those people,
35:29 I would just say, oh, yeah?
35:31 Well, show me in the constitution the right to abortion
35:35 and I will change my mind.
35:36 Go ahead.
35:38 Show me.
35:40 'Cause you're saying we removed a fundamental
35:43 constitutional right.
35:44 I believe Joe Biden said that verbatim,
35:46 fundamental constitutional right.
35:48 Show me in the constitution where it says that.
35:51 And don't do any mental gymnastics, just show me.
35:54 The thing is, is that you can't.
35:56 Another narrative shift is they're coming
35:57 for gay marriage and interracial marriage
35:59 and contraception next, right?
36:02 And so this has to do with Justice Clarice Thomas,
36:04 which again, you should read his opinion in there.
36:06 It's amazing.
36:07 And his remarks in the concurring opinion
36:09 where he's talking about the substantive due process clause.
36:12 And again, I'm not going to go into a deep dive
36:13 of the substantive due process clause
36:15 and how that ties into the 14th amendment,
36:17 but he explicitly says in the decision,
36:19 and Alito did as well,
36:21 that this decision does not set up a challenge
36:24 to a Bergfeld, which is gay marriage
36:26 or interracial marriage, or married people
36:28 having contraception or any of those things.
36:30 Again, they're lying to you about that, okay?
36:33 And people are buying it, lying in the sinker, okay?
36:36 The next thing, the shifting focus
36:38 to make abortion unthinkable, okay?
36:42 Now, pro-abortion folks and, you know,
36:46 supposed, supposed pro-life folks are using unthinkable.
36:49 Now, let's make abortion unthinkable, okay?
36:52 So what they're talking about is they're talking
36:54 about the plight of the woman after she has
36:56 the baby, okay?
36:58 Because most of these women wouldn't kill their babies
37:00 if everything was taking care of them.
37:02 That's kind of what they would say.
37:04 But they're using this phraseology,
37:05 this making abortion unthinkable as a Trojan horse
37:08 to push universal healthcare and universal pre-K
37:11 and paid maternity leave and climate change laws
37:14 and living wage increases and all kinds of other things, right?
37:18 And so this kind of builds into the people
37:20 not being sufficiently pro-life, for some reason,
37:23 because they don't support all these other policy prescriptions
37:26 that don't have anything to do
37:27 with the woman deciding to kill her child
37:29 or her and the man that did it deciding to kill her child
37:32 or her and her parents that don't want to be embarrassed
37:34 at the next cookout to kill her child, right?
37:37 And that's kind of gets into the next thing
37:39 is, you know, you're not actually pro-life
37:41 unless you believe the exact things that I believe, right?
37:44 So what they mean is they want you to support
37:46 all their policy prescriptions
37:48 and they get to determine whether you're pro-life enough, okay?
37:52 And, you know, what they mean is you have to be pro
37:54 all the things I just listed, but also things
37:56 like anti-death penalty, right?
37:58 So I just did a debate, I sent it out to all you guys
38:00 with Shane Claymore and this guy is a professional,
38:02 Christian, anti-gun, anti-violence, pacifist, activist, right?
38:07 That's what this guy does for a living.
38:08 He literally goes on to around the country
38:10 convincing people to turn law-abiding citizens,
38:12 to turn in their firearms to him
38:13 so that they can destroy them, right there in front of them, right?
38:17 And he was talking about this and he brought this up
38:18 on the show, you know, how you're not sufficiently pro-life
38:21 if you're also pro-death penalty.
38:23 And he completely ignored the fact of these two groups
38:26 being very, very different because in this country,
38:30 the only people that we put to death
38:32 are people that murder other people.
38:33 And usually there's a compounding factor like, you know,
38:36 there was a kidnapping and then a murder
38:38 or a kidnapping and then a rape and then a murder
38:39 or there was multiple people that were murdered
38:41 or it was under, you know,
38:42 especially egregious circumstances or something like that.
38:44 Those are the types of people we kill.
38:46 And so you were categorically comparing those types
38:49 of low lives with innocent human beings in the womb.
38:53 That can't do any of those things.
38:54 Literally the most defenseless human on the planet
38:58 is one that resides in the womb of their mother.
39:00 But I'm not sufficiently pro-life
39:02 because I think that we should take those people
39:04 out of the gene pool.
39:05 Sorry, I don't buy it.
39:07 So another narrative shift that we've seen is woke
39:10 and kind of lefty Christians again.
39:12 I'm going to let John Cooper do a lot of talking for me
39:14 on this issue.
39:15 But these Christians were desperately trying to make friends
39:20 out of people that hate them.
39:22 So you have a lot of pro-abortion Christians out there
39:25 kind of posting things or even, you know,
39:26 supposedly pro-life Christians saying,
39:28 yeah, we shouldn't really dunk on this issue.
39:29 And there's a lot of nuance and there's a lot of this
39:31 or that that we have to worry about.
39:33 But it's all mainly nonsense.
39:35 And here's one thing I'll kind of give you like a shortcut.
39:38 If anyone starts their speech or their post on social media
39:41 with as approach was Christian dot, dot, dot,
39:45 just know that you do not have to continue listening
39:48 to them or reading what they're about to say.
39:51 That person does not have a grasp of biblical reality
39:54 or just reality in general.
39:56 You don't have to pay attention to that person.
39:58 But these people are so desperately trying to signal
40:01 to all these, you know, secular leftists in the community
40:04 of about how, you know, basically tolerant they are
40:08 in this particular subject matter.
40:09 It's gross, actually.
40:11 - This episode is brought to you by Redfin.
40:13 You're listening to a podcast,
40:15 which means you're probably multitasking.
40:18 Maybe even scrolling home listings on Redfin,
40:20 saving homes without expecting to get them.
40:23 But Redfin isn't just built for endless browsing.
40:26 It's built to help you find and own a home
40:29 with agents who close twice as many deals.
40:31 When you find the one, you've got a real shot at getting it.
40:35 Get started at redfin.com, own the dream.
40:38 - And then another shift, which is really interesting.
40:41 We'll see how this goes as we move into the future.
40:44 But Ruth Bader Ginsburg, RBG, the notorious RBG.
40:48 She's apparently not the hero that she's been portrayed as.
40:51 Because people are just now realizing
40:53 how narcissistic she was.
40:55 Because she could retire during any of the eight years
40:58 of the Obama administration when she knew she was getting
41:00 towards the end of her life, but she wanted to stick around.
41:02 She wanted to stick around so that she could retire
41:05 under a female president, the first female president
41:08 being Hillary Clinton.
41:09 And whoopsies, Donald Trump blew up that plan.
41:11 And then as opposed to just retiring at that moment,
41:14 she tried to hang on and hang on, and then she passed away.
41:16 And again, I don't think it's appropriate to be excited
41:19 about the death of someone like that
41:20 that I just disagree with in terms of her jurisprudence
41:24 or her opinions on these issues.
41:25 But now we have people in the left coming out
41:28 saying Ruth Bader Ginsburg was selfish.
41:30 And that she's the reason why this happened
41:32 because RBG was traded for ACB.
41:35 That's an interesting shift.
41:38 And the last narrative shift I'll talk about before we move on
41:40 is we all of a sudden need to focus on maternal health.
41:45 We're hearing a lot of people throwing out maternal health.
41:47 And so here's the thing.
41:49 I mean, I fundamentally agree.
41:51 I fundamentally agree that we should focus on maternal health.
41:55 So does the entire history of medicine in this country
41:58 because for almost the entirety of human history,
42:01 the largest risk to the life of the mother
42:03 was pregnancy and the birthing process
42:06 for all of human history.
42:07 But medical advancements have gotten us to the point
42:11 where that's essentially no longer a factor for women.
42:14 We have so much available to us,
42:16 even in poor communities,
42:18 to save the life of the woman and the child.
42:20 This idea that women are just dropping like flies
42:22 all over the country is just, it's a nonsense, right?
42:25 So just to kind of give you the last year
42:27 that we have maternal death statistics,
42:29 typically over the last five years or so,
42:31 it's somewhere between 650 and 850 women a year die
42:34 because of something that has to do with a complication
42:37 with pregnancy or birthing.
42:38 And that's terrible, right?
42:40 650 to 850 women that really, really stinks.
42:43 You hate that for them and their families.
42:46 But when you compare that to the somewhere
42:48 between 800,000 and 1 million children
42:51 killed per year via abortion,
42:53 so you want me to focus on maternal health
42:56 and not celebrate the potentially hundreds of thousands
43:00 of babies that are gonna be saved every year?
43:02 Sorry, I'm not buying it.
43:04 But now we need to shift our focus to the narratives
43:07 that should have come out since the Dobbs' decision
43:10 was handed down.
43:11 We just went through all the ones that have come out,
43:13 but here are the ones that I haven't heard
43:14 that we should be hearing,
43:15 and hopefully we hear at some point.
43:17 The first one, I'm especially passionate about this one,
43:19 is yes, I'm pro-life, and it's because I'm a Christian,
43:23 and if you don't like it, pound sand.
43:25 I'm so tired of these pussy Christians going out there
43:29 and being like, oh yeah, I'm a Christian,
43:30 but it's mainly 'cause of science,
43:33 and I don't really wanna be too judgmental,
43:35 and Jesus was like the Lamb of God and stuff,
43:37 and he's this really cool guy,
43:38 and if you wanna meet him, I can maybe introduce you.
43:41 And I'm just trying to love, that's what I'm just loving.
43:44 People are like, nope, I am pro-life, why are you pro-life?
43:48 I can give you a bunch of scientific reasons,
43:50 but I am mainly pro-life because I'm a Christian,
43:53 because I believe in the Imago Day,
43:55 and I believe each person has a right to life
43:58 when they're in the womb.
44:00 That is not a potential person,
44:01 that is a person with potential, as Ben Shapiro says, okay?
44:04 So that's a narrative that needs to get out there.
44:06 Another narrative that should be coming out
44:09 is you're damn right, we will adopt your baby,
44:11 because you hear these people saying,
44:13 so are you saying more babies are going to be adopted now?
44:16 Well, yeah, absolutely.
44:20 There are people standing outside of abortion clinics.
44:22 Right now, as I record this with signs that say,
44:24 we will adopt your baby, please do not kill them, right?
44:29 And here's the thing,
44:30 the reason why there aren't more adoptions,
44:31 'cause everyone likes to pay, oh, adoption's terrible,
44:33 and there are a lot of broken things inside the adoption thing.
44:36 I've had a lot of friends that have kind of gone
44:37 through that process.
44:38 There are a lot of broken things about that process.
44:40 But the reason why there aren't more people
44:42 that are adopted every year in the country
44:43 is because most of these babies are being killed
44:46 and not put up for adoption.
44:48 Most of these women are so selfish
44:50 that they would rather kill the baby
44:51 than to even fathom the thought of taking the baby
44:54 and putting it in the hands of another family, okay?
44:58 So yes, we're gonna see a tremendous uptick in adoptions.
45:02 Another narrative shift that we should see
45:03 is as a church, we haven't been doing all that we can
45:07 on that issue, on the issue of life, but that ends now.
45:11 Because something that got exposed over the weekend
45:15 is the sheer number of churches
45:17 that have never spent any time or money or effort
45:20 on this cause, okay?
45:21 Now, I mentioned my church here in Edmond, Oklahoma.
45:24 The thing about my church is even the pastor,
45:28 when he was talking about this issue,
45:29 he's like, you know, we're in the process
45:30 trying to figure out what we can do to come around
45:32 and support these pregnancy resource centers
45:34 and blah, blah, and all that's great.
45:36 So what it exposed is that the church,
45:38 Faith Bible Church in Edmond, Oklahoma
45:40 has not really been doing anything in this issue,
45:42 with this issue at all.
45:43 And I remember years ago,
45:44 I went to a church here in Oklahoma City called Frontline
45:46 and one of the first things I went
45:48 whenever we became members over there is I was like,
45:50 hey, you know, we wanna make sure
45:51 that we're doing stuff for the pro-life cause,
45:53 we wanna make sure we're doing stuff, you know,
45:54 to prevent abortions and to help these women blah, blah, blah,
45:57 what are you guys doing to do that?
45:58 And they just kind of looked at me and they're like,
46:00 I guess we don't really do anything with that.
46:03 And they're in a community where the abortion rate
46:05 is decently high when compared to the rest of the state, right?
46:08 So that got exposed this weekend.
46:10 So I hope a lot of churches now are like,
46:12 oh, crap, you know, we just basically have been, you know,
46:15 operating as if Roe v. Wade was ever gonna be overturned.
46:17 We don't really think about this issue.
46:18 We're just trying to keep the doors open
46:20 or keep the thing growing or whatever the situation is.
46:22 But that ends now, 'cause now the, you know,
46:26 you gotta put your money where your mouth is.
46:28 And we'll get more into that in the last section of the show
46:29 where we talk about what we should be doing now.
46:31 But another narrative that we should be seeing is that,
46:33 and again, I keep talking about this,
46:36 Donald J. Trump is the most pro-life
46:38 and now one of the greatest presidents
46:40 in the history of the United States.
46:42 All things considered, January 6th, the impeachment,
46:46 the, grab the girls by the, you know what,
46:47 like all that stuff, right?
46:49 And I will keep saying it.
46:50 And I'm saying it as a guy that hopes he doesn't run
46:52 for president in 2024.
46:54 Like the only thing that can save the Democrats right now
46:57 is Donald Trump running again.
46:58 That's, that's it.
47:00 They are screwed in 2022 and 2024
47:03 and less Donald Trump runs, okay?
47:05 And we'll get more into that once he announces
47:07 and we go through all that stuff.
47:08 But part of me thinks that some people are actually poo-pooing,
47:12 you know, on this ruling, especially the Christians
47:14 that are poo-pooing on this,
47:15 because if they didn't poo-poo on it,
47:17 they might have to actually acknowledge that Trump,
47:20 this guy that they hate, right,
47:21 is one of the main reasons why this guy done.
47:24 Because he is.
47:26 Because say what you want about him,
47:27 you can say, oh, well, he doesn't believe this in his heart.
47:29 Well, guess what?
47:30 He could be pro-abortion in his heart,
47:32 but he got three justices on the Supreme Court
47:35 that all voted to overturn Roe v. Wade.
47:37 So I honestly don't care what he believes in his heart
47:40 when it comes to what he legislates like.
47:42 But here you also have to look at,
47:43 and again, these are just comments,
47:44 comments from a politician.
47:45 So I don't really put a whole lot of weight in them.
47:47 But Trump was asked to comment about this right afterwards.
47:50 So he did a prepared statement,
47:51 but then he also did something with Fox.
47:53 So I'll read something from both of those.
47:55 So this is from his prepared statement, quote,
47:58 "Today's decision, which is the biggest win for life
48:00 and a generation along with other decisions
48:03 that have been announced recently were only made possible
48:05 because I delivered everything as promised."
48:07 He still can't avoid being a narcissist,
48:09 but we'll keep going,
48:10 "including nominating and getting three highly respected
48:12 and strong constitutionalists confirmed
48:14 to the United States Supreme Court," unquote.
48:16 And then he was also asked by Fox News
48:18 whether he feels that he played a role in the reversal.
48:20 And this was literally his response.
48:22 God made the decision.
48:24 That was his response to a question.
48:26 So that wasn't a prepared statement.
48:27 God made the decision.
48:28 And later on, he added this,
48:29 I'll quote him directly, quote,
48:31 "I think in the end, this is something
48:32 that will work out for everybody.
48:34 This brings everything back to the States,
48:36 which is where it has always belonged."
48:39 And so again, that's all Trump.
48:42 Like that should be the narrative.
48:44 From conservatives and just historians
48:46 is that he is the most pro-life president of all time.
48:49 And this is his main accomplishment as a president, okay?
48:53 - Starting a business can seem like a daunting task
48:56 unless you have a partner like Shopify.
48:58 They have the tools you need to start and grow your business.
49:01 From designing a website to marketing to selling and beyond,
49:05 Shopify can help with everything you need.
49:07 There's a reason millions of companies like Mattel,

49:12 With Shopify on your side,
49:14 turn your big business idea into...
49:16 Sign up for your $1 per month trial
49:18 at Shopify.com/specialoffer.
49:20 - Also an narrative that we should see
49:24 is that Donald Trump did what almost
49:25 all the other recent Republican presidents have failed to do.
49:29 And that is put brave, pro-life,
49:31 pro-constitution originalists on the Supreme Court, okay?
49:35 So Republicans need to wake up and remember their history.
49:39 They really do.
49:40 They really need to do an accounting
49:41 of the things that they're seeing.
49:42 So Mark Tissen wrote an amazing opinion piece
49:45 that ended up in the Washington Post of all places.
49:48 Albert Mueller actually talked about this
49:49 on Monday, I believe, on his show.
49:51 And there's a great quote from Tissen's article
49:53 that Albert Mueller wrote, or that he read on air,
49:56 but I'm gonna read a little bit more of the quote here.
49:58 So it's a somewhat lengthy quote,
49:59 but I think it's very, very important to kind of explain
50:02 where Republicans have messed up in the past on this.
50:04 So let me read, again, this is from,
50:05 and I'll make sure this is in the show notes
50:06 from Mark Tissen, opinion piece in the Washington Post.
50:10 "Every Republican president before Trump failed miserably
50:13 when it came to Supreme Court picks.
50:15 In 1970, Richard M. Nixon nominated Harry A. Blackman,
50:18 who would go on to be the ignominious author of Roe.
50:21 Gerald Ford picked only one justice,
50:23 John Paul Stevens, who became the leader
50:25 of the court's liberal bloc.
50:27 Ronald Reagan had three appointees,
50:29 Sandra Day O'Connor, Antonin Scalia, and Anthony M. Kennedy.
50:32 But only Scalia was a consistent conservative vote
50:34 on the court.
50:35 George H.W. Bush named one brilliant conservative,
50:38 Clarence Thomas, and one catastrophic liberal, David Souter.
50:42 Then he up George W. Bush, selected Samuel A. Alito Jr.,
50:45 a marvelous conservative intellect
50:47 who wrote the decision overturning wrote.
50:49 But Bush also gave us John G. Roberts Jr.,
50:51 who promised to be an impartial umpire,
50:53 but instead has repeatedly legislated from the bench,
50:56 siding with the court's liberal bloc on a string of cases,
50:59 including saving Obamacare,
51:00 preserving the Deferred Action for Childhood Arrivals program,
51:03 DACA, and striking down state laws
51:06 that required hospitals to extend admitting privileges
51:08 for doctors who perform abortions.
51:10 But Trump broke the mold.
51:11 His nominations of Neil M. Gorsuch,
51:13 Brett M. Kavanaugh, and Amy Coney Barrett
51:16 have made him the only Republican president
51:18 in six decades to have a perfect record
51:20 in appointing judicial conservatives.
51:23 His picks have transformed the court.
51:26 With Gorsuch, he saved its conservative majority.
51:28 With Kavanaugh, he moved the court to the right
51:30 by replacing a swing vote, Kennedy,
51:32 with a reliable conservative,
51:33 and with Barrett, he gave the conservative bloc
51:35 the five votes they need to reveal
51:37 without the facilitating or vacillating chief justice.
51:41 So that is a great breakdown.
51:42 I absolutely love how he talked through that
51:45 and went through that.
51:46 Now when you talk about another thing
51:47 that should be happening,
51:49 another thing that should have happened,
51:50 is it's the pro-abortion position
51:52 that hates women, okay?
51:55 That's what we need to be talking about.
51:57 The pro-abortion people are the people that hate women,
52:00 not the people that are pro-life, okay?
52:02 So aside from the fact that sex-selective abortions
52:05 take place all over the country and all over the globe, okay?
52:09 So let's put that aside.
52:11 And aside from the fact that millions of unborn females
52:14 are killed every year via abortion across the globe,
52:18 the pro-abortion perspective tells women
52:21 that they cannot achieve,
52:23 that they cannot overcome,
52:26 that they cannot be resilient.
52:29 That's what the pro-abortion perspective is.
52:32 They tell these women that the only way
52:34 that they can make their wildest dreams come true
52:36 is if they kill the baby that's inside them.
52:40 Whereas pro-lifers tell the woman,
52:42 you can overcome, you can achieve,
52:45 and you can be resilient, and also we will help you.
52:50 So I am absolutely tired,
52:52 especially of conservatives and Republicans and Christians
52:54 just playing into this nonsense
52:56 or at least not pushing back against this.
52:57 No, if you wanna say that you are pro-woman,
53:00 you have to be pro-life.
53:02 Because again, approximately 50%
53:04 of the people killed in abortions are women.
53:08 And again, especially in other countries,
53:09 sex-selective abortions are rampant.
53:12 In China, in India, in Pakistan,
53:14 like they're rampant because they don't value women
53:17 in those cultures, okay?
53:19 So enough of this, it's a pro-abortion people
53:21 that love women, screw that, like that's nonsense.
53:23 And the last thing in terms of things
53:25 that we should be shifting is let's not lose,
53:28 and this is kind of a minor thing,
53:29 but kind of not at the same time.
53:31 Let's not lose sight of figuring out
53:33 who leaked the draft opinion.
53:34 'Cause that's one thing that I haven't heard it all
53:37 in the last week, even from conservatives is,
53:39 do we know who leaked the opinion yet?
53:41 Are we just gonna forget that?
53:43 Are we just gonna forget that it had to have been somebody
53:46 from one of the offices of either Sotomayor,
53:48 a Kagan or a Breyer?
53:50 Are we just gonna, we're just not gonna talk about that now?
53:53 In our excitement and in the ticker tape parades
53:55 and in all the confetti,
53:57 we're just not gonna talk about that anymore?
53:58 No, we still need to keep our eye on the ball
54:00 and we need to focus on that, definitely.
54:03 Now, here I wanna talk just very briefly
54:05 about what we can expect to see
54:06 and what we need to watch for, okay?
54:08 So what we can expect to see and we need to watch for,
54:10 our blue states are going to enact
54:12 the most liberal and deadly abortion laws
54:14 in the entire world, not just in the entire country,
54:16 but in the entire world.
54:18 But they will go further than that,
54:20 they will demand that you celebrate it, okay?
54:22 So we're gonna have states like, you know,
54:24 like New York and California and Hawaii and Illinois
54:28 and all that, they're going to get it to where
54:30 all the abortions in the state are gonna be acceptable
54:34 up until the birthday to the child
54:37 for any reason whatsoever and taxpayer funded.
54:40 And if you come from another state,
54:41 we will fund that as well, okay?
54:45 Which would make those the most extreme laws
54:47 on the books in the entire world, okay?
54:50 That they'll be right up there with Canada,
54:52 which will allow basically an abortion
54:53 for any reason whatsoever.
54:55 But it's those next steps where blue states
54:57 are maybe gonna start signaling the perinatal period,
55:00 which can extend up to 28 days after the child
55:02 is out of the womb, has passed through the magical,
55:05 you know, vaginal canal and is now in the world.
55:08 So that's something that we really, really need
55:10 to be paying attention to because it's gonna get really,
55:12 really bad in those states.
55:13 Also, something that we can kind of watch for
55:16 is whether or not the red state governors
55:18 will honor all the trigger laws that are now enforced
55:21 because there are some governors that are like,
55:22 yeah, I know that that's on the books,
55:23 but we're not gonna enforce that.
55:24 And we've heard that the Pentagon's not gonna, you know,
55:27 look for enforcement on these different things.
55:28 So we need to kind of watch these red state governors
55:30 very, very closely and the attorney generals
55:32 in those states as well.
55:33 And another thing that we can expect to see
55:34 is increase violence towards pro-lifers and churches, okay?
55:38 So I put this message out on our Instagram
55:40 over the weekend, we have to keep our heads on a swivel
55:43 because we, our families, our businesses,
55:45 our churches are now targets for pro-abortion,
55:48 extremist, Marxist violence.
55:49 Like that's exactly the case.
55:51 So if you're a concealed carry person,
55:53 make sure you concealed carry in your church.
55:55 Make sure you're keeping your eyes peeled,
55:56 especially if you go to a large church
55:58 for people that don't look like they should be there.
56:01 For people that look like they're about to agitate.
56:03 Like because these things are going to happen.
56:05 I hope that they don't.
56:06 Like I would love to be proved wrong,
56:08 but we are gonna see increased violence
56:10 towards pro-lifers and churches.
56:11 It's almost a guarantee at this point.
56:14 Now let me get some random thoughts out there too
56:16 as well before we get into some things
56:17 that we should actually be doing now.
56:19 So one random thought here is a big thing
56:22 that you have to keep in mind
56:24 is what the pro-live side would do
56:26 if they had unchecked power
56:28 and what the pro-abortion side would do
56:29 if they had unchecked power.
56:31 This kind of helps you figure out
56:33 which side is more moral.
56:34 So pro-lifers would make abortion illegal
56:38 from the moment of conception, okay?
56:40 And criminalize the entire process.
56:43 And pro-abortion people would make everything up
56:45 to infanticide legal for any reason
56:47 at any point in the pregnancy
56:48 and taxpayer or business funded.
56:50 That's the two sides of this issue.
56:53 'Cause there is no real middle ground in this issue.
56:56 Like, oh yeah, it's kind of okay to kill these babies,
56:58 but not these babies.
56:59 That's not a real position.
57:00 If you spend any time really thinking through this,
57:01 you only end up in one of two places.
57:03 That abortion is a net positive for humanity.
57:05 So we should do everything we can
57:07 to have as many of them as possible, right?
57:09 Or this is horrific.
57:10 We need to criminalize the entire process
57:12 and prevent as many as we can through the legal system
57:16 and through the enforcement system, okay?
57:18 So that, again, tells you who's on the moral side
57:20 of this issue.
57:21 Another random thought is one thing that I find interesting
57:24 is when a Democrat is directly asked
57:27 if they support abortion up to the date of birth.
57:30 Because that is the stated belief
57:33 of the Democratic National Committee
57:34 or National Convention or whatever.
57:35 That is their stated belief.
57:37 Abortion up to the moment of birth, no exceptions, okay?
57:41 But when a prominent Democrat is asked that,
57:43 they usually go into a plethora of platitudes
57:46 or bumper sticker slogans about choice and decision
57:50 between her and her doctor and blah, blah, blah.
57:53 They can't just say yes.
57:55 Yes, I support abortion up to the date of birth.
57:58 Yes, I support a mom and the dad driving to the hospital
58:02 to deliver, but then veering off to a different road
58:05 to actually have them kill the baby as opposed to deliver it.
58:08 Because that's their answer, but they won't just say that, okay?
58:12 Because if they answered yes, that would be the truth.
58:14 They have to obfuscate though.
58:16 Because I think inherently they realize
58:17 how unbelievably evil and ridiculous
58:20 and crazy their position is.
58:23 Another random thought here is,
58:24 you have so many pro-abortion people right now
58:27 talking about how this law is gonna be killing women.
58:29 I talked about this a little bit earlier,
58:31 but they're ignoring the fact that there are tons of females
58:33 that are going to be saved by this ruling.
58:36 So these people, when they say that,
58:38 they're either ignorant or they're purposefully misleading you.
58:41 So to repeat something that I've said a bunch of times,
58:43 you know, a bunch of times on this podcast
58:45 is abortion is never medically necessary
58:47 to save the life of the mother, ever.
58:49 We have to remember that.
58:50 We have to keep beating that home.
58:52 Another random thought is, isn't it so interesting
58:55 that you're seeing people online complain about how
58:57 this is just going to negatively affect hookup culture?
59:01 This has been one of the most interesting things I've seen
59:03 is they're lamenting the fact that this is going to affect
59:06 how I like to hook up with people.
59:08 I normally like to just grab my phone and swipe, swipe, swipe.
59:10 Yeah, you look like I could put some seed in you.
59:12 You know, yeah, let's kind of hook up,
59:14 not even learn each other's names,
59:15 have sex and just kind of move on with our lives.
59:18 So this just goes to further prove that a lot of the people,
59:23 you know, a lot of the men and women,
59:24 they were using abortion as an extra layer of contraception,
59:28 which we've been reliably informed never happens, right?
59:32 But again, they're lamenting that.
59:34 These Gen Zers, there was an article over the weekend,
59:36 actually several articles about Gen Zers
59:39 changing their sexual habits because of this ruling.
59:42 And they're describing it as this horrible thing.
59:45 And I'm like, this is a great thing.
59:47 This is an amazing thing.
59:49 You're adjusting your personal decision-making
59:52 based on the potential ramifications of this law.
59:55 It's making you think about whether or not
59:57 just randomly hooking up with people that you met that night
59:59 is a good thing.
1:00:01 It's almost as if there was a purpose
1:00:04 behind how we were supposed to have sex.
1:00:06 That a baby being conceived from a sexual act
1:00:09 is a positive thing.
1:00:11 And we should look at it that way.
1:00:13 I actually love what Stephen Crowder says all the time.
1:00:15 He's mentioned this on the show a whole bunch.
1:00:17 And I shared it again on Instagram.
1:00:18 Women have four options for their sex lives.
1:00:20 They don't have one,
1:00:22 four pregnancy or whatever these idiots are saying.
1:00:24 They have four options for their sex life.
1:00:26 Abstinence, contraception, motherhood, adoption.
1:00:30 There is no fifth option.
1:00:33 Abortion is not a realistic option.
1:00:35 So again, abstinence, contraception, motherhood, adoption.
1:00:39 Okay?
1:00:40 And to all these people that are like,
1:00:41 oh, these poor women and they're not using it
1:00:43 as birth control, about 45% of abortions,
1:00:45 almost half of the abortions in America are repeat abortions.
1:00:49 People that knew what they were doing the first time
1:00:51 and they're just doing it again.
1:00:52 So again, I am glad that more people
1:00:54 are not looking at abortion as if it's another layer.
1:00:58 So it's like, okay, we got the condom,
1:00:59 we got the diaphragm, we got the spermicidal lube,
1:01:01 and then we've got abortion.
1:01:02 No, they are splitting those things up entirely.
1:01:05 And I think that's great.
1:01:06 Another random thought here is that elections
1:01:10 so clearly have consequences.
1:01:12 And not just on a national level,
1:01:15 but especially on a state level,
1:01:16 'cause look where we're at now.
1:01:17 We're gonna full dose of that now.
1:01:19 This just shows you how important it is to focus
1:01:22 on local politics as opposed to federal politics.
1:01:24 Now, federal politics are obviously important,
1:01:27 especially when you're electing your House of Representatives,
1:01:30 members that are gonna go to the U.S. Congress,
1:01:31 when you're getting your senators,
1:01:33 when you're voting for president,
1:01:34 all those things are very, very important.
1:01:35 But it's your state legislatures
1:01:37 that are right now making the abortion laws, okay?
1:01:40 And also, we have to remember that elections count
1:01:43 in the future because it is not crazy to think
1:01:46 that as soon as liberals get a majority on the Supreme Court,
1:01:49 which will definitely happen again at some point in our future,
1:01:52 that there is gonna be a case brought up
1:01:54 that they will try to reinstate the federal allowance
1:01:56 for the procedure of abortion into usurp state laws.
1:02:00 Kind of like what Roe v. Wade did immediately.
1:02:03 And so when you're voting for president,
1:02:05 when you're voting for your senator
1:02:07 that you're gonna send to the United States Congress,
1:02:09 you have to keep this in mind.
1:02:11 All of those things matter.
1:02:13 And the last random thought I'll get into here
1:02:15 is it is very, very interesting to me.
1:02:17 Watching people have to deal
1:02:19 with kind of the mental gymnastics
1:02:22 of a woman named Amy Coney Barrett
1:02:24 being a part of the decision to overturn Roe.
1:02:27 Because in one way,
1:02:28 it cuts against their argument and their narrative
1:02:30 that it's just a bunch of men that are deciding this, right?
1:02:32 Because one of them was a woman that helped decide this.
1:02:36 So what they're doing is just dismissing Amy Coney Barrett
1:02:39 as a handmaiden, right?
1:02:41 Oh, she's just a handmaiden, right?
1:02:43 But what they're also ignoring
1:02:45 is that there are three female justices
1:02:47 on the Supreme Court right now.
1:02:49 And only one of them has children.
1:02:51 Don't take a guess who it is, it's ACB.
1:02:55 She has seven children, seven.
1:02:57 Sodomaior and Kagan have zero.
1:03:00 So the mental gymnastics of somehow Amy Coney Barrett,
1:03:06 being this horrible, horrific extremist,
1:03:09 but not Sodomaior and Kagan.
1:03:10 Is it possible that if Sodomaior and Kagan
1:03:14 had had children that they would have thought differently
1:03:16 on this issue?
1:03:17 Perhaps not.
1:03:18 'Cause we saw a bunch of women walking around outside
1:03:20 the Supreme Court that were pregnant
1:03:21 that had written on their stomach, not yet human, right?
1:03:24 Which I would say you're not yet smart if you think that.
1:03:27 But again, we would just kind of see,
1:03:28 but the mental gymnastics are absolutely incredible
1:03:31 at this point.
1:03:32 But we're gonna bring it to a close today
1:03:34 by talking about a very, very important section.
1:03:35 I know here we are an hour in,
1:03:36 but this is very, very important.
1:03:38 It's the work that needs to be done now.
1:03:40 This is very, very important.
1:03:41 It's the next steps.
1:03:42 So you popped bottles, you had a cigar in it.
1:03:45 That's what I did.
1:03:46 Friday night last week, popped open a new bottle of whiskey,
1:03:48 had a cigar, really, really enjoyed it.
1:03:50 But by Saturday morning, hey, it's time to get to work.
1:03:52 So here's a bunch of things we need to consider.
1:03:54 First, supporting pregnancy resource centers
1:03:57 and their affiliate programs with our time and money, okay?
1:04:01 And just as a side note,
1:04:02 governors need to ensure that those facilities are secured,
1:04:05 those facilities and make sure they have private security
1:04:07 so that they can make sure things are all squared away.
1:04:09 But those organizations, they need your time,
1:04:13 they need your money, they need your donations,
1:04:15 they need all of it.
1:04:16 So for all you guys that were dunking in high five
1:04:18 and sending around the memes and doing all the things,
1:04:21 look up, some people call them emergency pregnancy centers,
1:04:24 but they're just pregnancy resource centers, okay?
1:04:27 Look them up in their area more than ever,
1:04:30 they're gonna need your help.
1:04:31 And we need to make sure as a body of Christ,
1:04:33 as churches, as whatever,
1:04:35 that we were doing everything we can to support them, okay?
1:04:37 Another thing we need to do, the body of Christ
1:04:41 must do what we can to flood adoption agencies
1:04:45 and to empty the foster care roles.
1:04:48 I heard of a couple of different communities,
1:04:50 a couple of different churches.
1:04:51 Rather, I can't remember who said this,
1:04:53 but they basically wiped out the foster care system
1:04:56 in their area around their church
1:04:58 because they basically adopted all of the kids
1:05:02 that were in foster care.
1:05:03 All the families that were looking,
1:05:07 they are looking to get rid of their children, right?
1:05:10 To give up their rights to their children.
1:05:12 These churches in these areas basically,
1:05:14 they've absorbed all of that.
1:05:16 So much so that the government municipality in their area
1:05:19 was helping fund these organizations
1:05:21 so that they could keep doing it.
1:05:23 And I know the adoption process is crazy.
1:05:26 I know the foster care system in a lot of ways is broken.
1:05:29 But as the body of Christ,
1:05:30 can you imagine in your community,
1:05:33 if there are no foster kids to go around,
1:05:35 if every time a foster kid comes to the system,
1:05:38 they're placed immediately.
1:05:40 If every time there was somebody that needed to be adopted,
1:05:42 that there was a family there,
1:05:44 that should be a major, major focus.
1:05:46 Also, we need to move our legislative focus
1:05:49 to a fight for the full criminalization of abortion
1:05:52 in all 50 states.
1:05:53 So Roe in case you're overturned
1:05:56 on the national level at Supreme Court,
1:05:58 now we need to work on all the states.
1:05:59 'Cause there are 25 states with these restrictions,
1:06:02 but there's very, very few states
1:06:03 that have full restrictions on abortion.
1:06:05 Again, saving the life of the mother is not a real category,
1:06:08 but even in my home state of Oklahoma,
1:06:09 we supposedly have this strong law,
1:06:11 but it allows abortions for the cases of rape and incest.
1:06:16 The problem with that is obviously a baby
1:06:18 should not get the death penalty for something
1:06:19 that their father did, I say that all the time.
1:06:22 So that's the next legislative focus,
1:06:24 fight for the full criminalization of abortion
1:06:26 in all 50 states.
1:06:27 Also, we need to focus on a federal abortion ban
1:06:30 for all abortions, for all reasons and circumstances.
1:06:34 'Cause that's something that could happen
1:06:35 and this kind of goes into the next thing,
1:06:36 which is maybe adding unborn children
1:06:39 to the 14th Amendment.
1:06:40 Okay, so this was the 14th Amendment,
1:06:42 this was passed by Congress in 1866 and ratified in 1868.
1:06:45 So what it did is it extended both the civil
1:06:48 and legal rights for black citizens
1:06:50 who were formerly enslaved,
1:06:51 it granted them citizenship and basically the text is this,
1:06:55 all persons born are naturalized in the United States, okay?
1:06:59 And it ensured rights to these people in states
1:07:01 where discriminatory laws were on the books, okay?
1:07:05 Now, in order to get an amendment passed,
1:07:08 so I think it's the same process
1:07:09 to get something added to an amendment,
1:07:11 but in order to just get an amendment passed,
1:07:13 basically for a federal abortion ban,
1:07:15 there are two methods of doing that.
1:07:17 So according to Article 5,
1:07:18 it prescribes that amendments may be proposed
1:07:20 either by one, the United States Congress,
1:07:22 which would need two-thirds votes in both the House
1:07:25 and the Senate, or the second way is a constitutional
1:07:27 convention of states when and if it's demanded
1:07:30 in two-thirds of the states
1:07:32 and the legislatures of those states
1:07:34 would have to vote for that.
1:07:35 So those are high bars, two-thirds of the United States
1:07:38 Congress or basically the House and the Senate
1:07:41 or two-thirds of the states, it's gonna take a lot,
1:07:44 but it's super duper worth it.
1:07:46 So either getting a federal abortion ban
1:07:48 with a new amendment to the Constitution
1:07:49 or getting unborn children added to the 14th amendment,
1:07:52 let's focus on that.
1:07:53 Also, criminalizing abortion by mail.
1:07:56 So there are a lot of pills that you can get sent in the mail
1:07:58 like you're ordering from Amazon
1:08:00 and you can kill your babies by doing that.
1:08:01 Now, aside from the fact that a lot of these abortion
1:08:04 by mail pills are very, very dangerous for young women
1:08:08 and it's very, very dangerous to anyone that takes them,
1:08:10 it's obviously incredibly lethal for the baby
1:08:12 'cause there's almost a 100% chance that the baby will die.
1:08:16 And so the shipping around some of these abortion pills
1:08:19 are gonna be meant to kind of usurp some of the law.
1:08:22 So let's say you live in one of those states
1:08:23 that has a full outright ban of abortion,
1:08:26 you're gonna be able to get these pills in the mail.
1:08:29 And so we should make it as difficult, if not impossible,
1:08:33 for this to get in the hands of women, right?
1:08:35 Because we're not gonna be able to stop it
1:08:36 in the states that love abortion, the California's,
1:08:38 the New Jersey's and Illinois's and all those types of things.
1:08:40 But in our states that are going to be banning this,
1:08:43 these red states, we have to make sure
1:08:45 that we can't have our babies killed
1:08:46 by people just basically shipping in stuff in a package
1:08:51 that doesn't have any labeling on it or something like that.
1:08:54 Also, a couple of things left here.
1:08:56 I want us to focus on actually making abortion unthinkable.
1:08:59 Okay, but not in the way that people are using it
1:09:02 as I talked about earlier, okay?
1:09:04 Where people are like, let's make it unthinkable,
1:09:05 let's pass all these lefty policy prescriptions
1:09:08 or something like that.
1:09:09 I want it to be unthinkable
1:09:11 because people accept the truth of the gospel
1:09:14 and it changes their hearts and desires.
1:09:16 Because people don't wanna talk about this issue
1:09:19 as if it's a gospel issue.
1:09:21 And I get arguing about how we should ban abortion
1:09:24 because of science and because what we know about what's going on
1:09:26 in terms of the development of the fetus and all that,
1:09:27 like I get it, I'm down with all that.
1:09:30 But at the end of the day, women would not be scared
1:09:33 and they would not be wanting to kill their baby
1:09:36 and the men in their life would not be encouraging them
1:09:39 or maybe in some cases forcing them
1:09:41 or their families wouldn't be so caught up
1:09:43 in their own narcissism that they would,
1:09:45 you know what, the baby to be killed
1:09:46 so it doesn't reflect on them.
1:09:47 None of those things would happen
1:09:48 if those people had a gospel worldview.
1:09:50 If these people were Christians,
1:09:53 that's how you make abortion unthinkable.
1:09:57 And that's what we really, really need to focus on.
1:10:00 Let's really make it unthinkable.
1:10:02 Let's share Christ with these pregnant women.
1:10:04 Let's share Christ with women before they get pregnant, okay?
1:10:08 That's how you make it unthinkable.
1:10:09 And the last point of the day is you guys,
1:10:11 so I'm talking to you.
1:10:12 So if you've been hanging with me this whole time,
1:10:14 you're in it to win it, right?
1:10:16 You guys must constantly remind yourselves
1:10:18 how to successfully push back against pro-abortion arguments.
1:10:21 You cannot get flat-footed.
1:10:24 So one of the canned speeches that I do,
1:10:27 so if you bring me out to speak to your men's group
1:10:29 or to your church or to your company or whatever,
1:10:31 I talk about how to engage pro-abortion arguments.
1:10:34 It's basically what I did in episode 257 of this podcast.
1:10:37 And that's very, very important
1:10:39 because you're gonna have a lot of people
1:10:40 throwing things out on social media,
1:10:41 which if I, again, as a sidebar,
1:10:43 don't get into social media arguments
1:10:44 with people about this issue.
1:10:45 I know you feel the need to push back,
1:10:47 but no one's changing their mind on social media.
1:10:49 They're just not.
1:10:50 Not in DMs, not on their Facebook wall, none of those things.
1:10:53 Just let those things go by.
1:10:55 If somebody said something,
1:10:56 'cause I've done this since last Friday,
1:10:57 I feel like people have said things
1:10:58 that are factually inaccurate.
1:11:00 So I contact them personally, 'cause I know them personally.
1:11:02 I send them a direct message personally,
1:11:04 and I say, "Hey, I think you're wrong with this issue.
1:11:06 "Can we talk about it?
1:11:07 "Here's my phone number?"
1:11:08 Or, "We already have each other's phone number,
1:11:09 "and I just call them type of a thing."
1:11:11 But you can't even have those discussions with people
1:11:14 if they can basically tear down your entire wall
1:11:17 by saying, "Yeah, you know, but if the woman's raped,
1:11:20 "I guess we can kill that baby."
1:11:21 Right?
1:11:22 We can't do that.
1:11:23 We can't have that.
1:11:24 Because what you guys have to remember
1:11:26 is that we have truth on our side.
1:11:27 You know, God is on the side of life.
1:11:31 God is the creator and author of life, right?

We hold that row in Casey must be overruled. The constitution makes no reference to abortion and no such right is implicitly protected by any constitutional provision.
