This is Undaunted Life, a man's podcast.
0:21
I'm your host Kyle Thompson.
0:23
Let's get into it.
0:24
All right, guys, I've got a special guest on the podcast today.
0:26
His name is Riley Meek.
0:27
So Riley is an entrepreneur, an author, and a speaker, and he runs the Kings Council.
0:31
So the Kings Council, it's a community of high achievers, right?
0:34
So you've seen some things like this before, but it's high achievers, entrepreneurs, athletes,
0:38
leaders, you know, people that are really getting after it, but they are people that are focused
0:42
on discovering and deploying their God-given talents, okay?
0:47
And so that's the thing with a lot of these different groups where it's like, oh, you know,
0:50
hey, you read this self-help book and now you're going to come be a part of this group and
0:53
we're going to hop on Zoom or something like that.
0:55
There's no real scaffolding, there's no real direction or something like that.
0:59
But this is literally so that you can deploy your God-given talents so that, you know,
1:03
while you're here on this earth, you can squeeze out literally every single little bit of who
1:08
you are to serve Christ the King, to serve God.
1:11
Like that's really what they're out here doing.
1:13
So he also has a podcast by the same name, the Kings Council as well.
1:17
He's got the upper room, which is a mastermind group, which I didn't know about until we
1:21
did the podcast interview.
1:22
So that's a kingdom entrepreneur mastermind.
1:24
So it's literally, it's a mastermind group, but it is for kingdom entrepreneurs.
1:28
But he did something actually really special in this podcast.
1:30
So again, this is a guy that is an entrepreneur.
1:33
He's done incredibly, incredibly well in business.
1:34
And, you know, we talked a little bit off, off air about some different things that he's
1:37
working on.
1:38
It's really, really awesome.
1:39
But he made an offer just to our undaunted life listeners that is incredibly, incredibly
1:44
unique.
1:45
So I don't really want to take his thunder.
1:46
It's about, I think it's about 45, 50 minutes into the podcast, but it has to do with the
1:50
upper room mastermind group.
1:52
So I don't want to, you know, basically steal any of his thunder because again, I wasn't,
1:55
I didn't know that he was going to do this.
1:57
So it was really cool.
1:58
But when we got into the interview, I thought it was great, the different things that we
2:01
talked about because I've never had anyone on here that was just strictly like an entrepreneur,
2:05
kind of building out things because a lot of those people are really squishy and they
2:08
just, I don't know, like everything is kind of a bumper sticker slogan or something like
2:13
that.
2:14
But Riley, I'm glad he was kind of the first person to come and talk about this because
2:17
he's expanded my understanding of what entrepreneurship is and how it goes kind of beyond your
2:22
wiring as a person, but specifically what it means to be a faith based entrepreneur and
2:26
not just faith of any faith, but being a Christ centered gospel centered entrepreneur.
2:31
What does that look like?
2:32
Because a lot of people think, you know, Christian shouldn't be making money from other Christians
2:35
and maybe Christian shouldn't be making money at all because money is the root of all evil
2:39
as opposed to the love of money or the worship of money being at the root of all evil.
2:43
So we talked about that dichotomy there, but we got into a lot of other subjects.
2:47
Like I asked him about the prosperity gospel.
2:49
I'm just kind of looking at my notes here, like the prosperity gospel and how a lot of
2:52
people think like whenever Christians are talking about money and then they start, you
2:56
know, they become a Christian and then they start doing well in business.
2:58
How, you know, that's really dangerous.
2:59
So we get into that, how God really doesn't need our money, but also like how our kingdom
3:04
entrepreneurs feeding themselves, like who are they around?
3:08
What are they doing?
3:09
What are they studying?
3:10
What's their focus?
3:11
And there was a lot of other stuff that we talked about.
3:12
So guys, I don't want to keep them from you any longer.
3:13
So without further ado, let's get into it.
3:17
Riley meek, welcome to a Daunton life of man's podcast.
3:20
Hey, brother, happy to be here.
3:21
Hey, now you flexed off camera before the interview.
3:24
Are you willing to do it now that we've got a record?
3:28
Boom.
3:29
Let's go.
3:30
Guys, for those of you just listening to this, he's got beautiful tan biceps.
3:33
So I had to make sure that he showed them off.
3:34
But I'm excited to have you on Riley because whenever I'm looking at different interviews
3:38
and bringing people on, you know, there is a type of guests that I really like to bring
3:43
on that I know my audience is going to love.
3:45
They love it when I talk to guys that are retired military.
3:48
They love it when I talk to these best-selling authors and things like that.
3:51
But I always tried to find people that are unique to a particular category.
3:54
Like I've had a magician on here before.
3:56
I've had, you know, a theologian and I've had all a bunch of different things.
4:00
The one thing that I never really had is somebody that part of their brand is just being an
4:05
entrepreneur in general.
4:07
Now, we'll get way more into kind of what you feel like is the scaffolding underneath
4:11
why you want to be a successful entrepreneur.
4:15
But let's just kind of talk about that in general because you're speaking to an audience
4:18
that is, I would say mostly people that are working kind of your typical nine to five,
4:23
you know, putting in the hours, maybe they're in the cubicle, maybe they're in the cubicle
4:26
right now.
4:27
Listen to this.
4:28
We appreciate you guys.
4:29
But that's kind of what they're doing and maybe what they're wired for, but you're doing
4:32
something else.
4:33
And that's kind of what entrepreneurs are like.
4:35
So let's just talk about entrepreneurship.
4:37
You go.
4:38
Dude, how much time do I have because I can, I can roll with this.
4:42
We got all the time, I'll interrupt you if you start sounding dumb.
4:46
Perfect.
4:47
I love it, man.
4:48
Well, first off, entrepreneurship, I always, people always have a preconceived idea or
4:55
what they think is their own understanding or definition of entrepreneurship.
4:58
So let's get this out the gates like foundationally entrepreneurship.
5:03
What I believe and when I speak of it, this is where I'm coming from, entrepreneurship
5:07
is simply a mindset that we have here, and what I mean by that, if you actually go to
5:12
the root word of entrepreneur, it is a French word, I'm not even going to try to say it,
5:19
but it's like, all right, I'm going to try to say it.
5:21
All right.
5:22
It's like entre prandre.
5:23
Sound good.
5:24
Yeah.
5:25
Really?
5:26
So entre prandre, all that literally means is to undertake, right?
5:33
That's the root word of entrepreneur means to undertake.
5:36
So if you're an undertaker, you can be an employee.
5:40
You can have a nine to five job, whatever it is.
5:43
You can be a stay at home mom and stay at home dad and be an undertaker, right?
5:48
So that's, that's the idea of entrepreneurship is that I'm willing to undertake the task
5:53
at hand, whatever the heck that is, right?
5:55
If it's raising your kids, if it's sparring on the mat, whatever it is, like we're going
6:00
to go at this as an entrepreneur.
6:03
And that's really how I've approached life since the age of 15.
6:07
And that's essentially what started my, my kind of journey of entrepreneurship man was
6:12
when I, when I took my first job at, so I was 15 years old, I grew up in South Dakota.
6:18
Okay.
6:19
Shout out to the 14 people in South Dakota.
6:21
No.
6:22
South Dakota, that the only, the time I grew up in was like 900 people.
6:27
The only job, the opportunity that I had to make money was, was at our gas station.
6:32
It was to make pizza.
6:33
And it was for $5.15 an hour.
6:36
And I thought, all right, this is what I got to do.
6:38
I worked in eight hour shift.
6:40
And then I was like, there's no way in hell I'm doing that again.
6:43
Right.
6:44
And it was, it was a, that point in time was that mindset shift in, in the real realization
6:49
for me was what got me was from an entrepreneurial mindset, it was that somebody put that dollar
6:56
amount on my time, right?
6:58
And not even that, that they did that, but it was that I allowed it, right?
7:02
I knew even at a young age, not in an arrogant way, but I knew that my time was worth more
7:06
than $5.15 an hour.
7:09
Right.
7:10
And that, that's what started my journey to, of really what this entrepreneurship lifestyle
7:14
has, has been like over the last, what am I, 37 now, man.
7:19
So for the last like 22 years or so, it has really just been like, all right, what, what
7:24
is the task at hand?
7:25
And I'm going to crush.
7:26
I'm going to do whatever.
7:27
I'm going to be my best version of excellence.
7:29
And it doesn't mean that I win everything or I'm, you know, quote unquote, successful
7:33
at everything, but I'm going to be excellent in everything that I put my hands to.
7:37
And in that truly is, was what I believe entrepreneurship is, willing to take risks, right?
7:41
Willing to roll the dice that others aren't.
7:44
And if we are, if we continually be the, those trailblazers in the entrepreneurship space,
7:49
we're the ones that are going to change the world, right?
7:51
It's not the, some, somebody that's just sitting around collecting a paycheck, sitting in the
7:54
cubicle, no offense if you're in a cubicle, cubicle, but I am going to challenge you
7:57
on this podcast to, to think bigger.
8:00
Like there's more to life than just sitting in your cubicle working this nine to five
8:05
right now.
8:06
There's absolutely more to life you are called to greatness because greatness is what created
8:10
you.
8:11
And, and, and that's really the mindset that we have, everything that we do, man starts
8:16
with our mindset.
8:17
And then from there, once we've conquered that, dude, we can do anything from there.
8:22

8:52
So so Riley, let's dig into that a little bit further because I've said on, on my show
8:56
before that there are people that are wired for entrepreneurism and their own thing.
9:02
And then if you put them into cubicle, it's like putting, you know, a tiger in a cage
9:06
just like they just can't stand it.
9:08
But the same is true in the adverse where you have people that are in the cubicle that
9:11
they, they read the self-help books and they watch the TED talks and they're like, I can
9:15
be that I can do that.
9:17
But they're not exactly wired for it, right?
9:20
So I would be the person that says in kind of the strict definition, the non fringe definition
9:24
of an entrepreneur, somebody that takes a business risk to create their own thing that
9:29
not everyone is built for that and perhaps the mundane nature of that cubicle job that
9:34
we'll use, I guess as our central example, maybe that's where God wants them to be and
9:39
we'll get more into the faith element here in a second, but like maybe that's where they're
9:41
supposed to be.
9:42
They're supposed to be in that cubicle, like they're, they're doing something that is
9:46
well within their wiring and they don't necessarily need to get distracted with the latest self-help
9:51
book.
9:52
That's seven ways to become a millionaire by Friday.
9:54
You know what I mean?
9:55
Yes.
9:56
100% know what you mean, man.
9:58
And dude, there's so much that I even want to unpack on what you just said because I really
10:03
do believe and maybe this would be where we disagree a little bit.
10:07
I do believe we are born entrepreneurs.
10:10
Okay.
10:11
Now, let's again go back to what entrepreneur, I'm not talking about going to scale a business
10:15
or take a risk, roll the dice to blow up your new app or whatever that is.
10:19
Yeah, which is where people think of that's where people's mind goes, right?
10:22
Exactly.
10:23
So what I'm talking about though, I believe we're born entrepreneurs.
10:26
We are born undertakers really dating back to creation.
10:32
What we were created to do was to work, right?
10:35
And it was to co-create with our creator.
10:39
That's part of our like God given mandate to go forth, to be fruitful, to multiply, to
10:44
have dominion on this earth.
10:46
And so what happens, particularly in this last century, right, and this is what, dude,
10:51
I geek out to this so much, just think about like over the last 2000 years, different segments
10:57
of society and of culture and what's taken place from really, here's a stat that you'll
11:04
like, man, in 1913, 97% of Americans were entrepreneurs, meaning they owned their own
11:11
business of some sort in 1913, 97%, that is in 3% were actually employees, right?
11:20
That's been completely reversed right now in 2022.
11:23
3% of Americans are entrepreneurs and 97% are employees.
11:29
And so what's happened is as we've seen, you know, through the Industrial Revolution, it
11:35
was like smart people, wealthy people realized, snap, I need some, I need some workers.
11:40
I need some worker bees, I need to create employees, I need people that don't think
11:45
for themselves.
11:46
Again, this isn't a shot if you're an employee, I'm talking about an employee mindset versus
11:51
an entrepreneur mindset, that just will, will do what we say.
11:55
When the bell rings, they'll take a seat.
11:57
When it rings again, they've got a 15 minute water break, right?
12:01
I'm talking about the school system today and how we completely been indoctrinated from
12:06
the time we turned five entered kindergarten on working on basically creating employees
12:16
and putting, oppressing, I'm going to even call it, this idea of thinking for ourselves,
12:22
thinking outside of the box, like, you know, and dude, a prime example of this is the Lego
12:27
company.
12:28
I don't know if you want me to go down this road, but this is where I'll take you, Kyle.
12:32
The Lego company in the 1980s was freaking going bankrupt, right?
12:37
Now they're a multi-billion dollar company, 1980s, they're going bankrupt because if you
12:41
remember Legos when you and I were little, it was like, you just got upset of them and
12:45
you had to do what, create, you had to think outside of the box, I'm going to build the
12:49
city, I'm going to build the car, whatever it was, you had to build something from scratch
12:54
entrepreneur mindset.
12:55
In the 80s, through now, what has been probably two generations, essentially of kids going
13:02
through this indoctrination process of like, don't think for yourself, do what I tell
13:07
you, follow directions and that's ultimately when the Lego company was like, all right,
13:15
what are we going to do here?
13:16
Lo and behold, you can't buy a Lego set today, you buy a Lego kit that gives you turn by
13:22
turn, step one, do this, step two, do this, step three, open the next top bag.
13:29
It's literally, so Lego company realized and props to them, man, they realized they had
13:36
to, people don't buy what they need, they buy what they want, right, from a sales standpoint.
13:42
They had to produce something that people wanted and they wanted step-by-step instructions
13:46
on what to do, how to do it, when to do it, to build this beautiful pirate ship or whatever
13:52
the crap it was that they're building and it's just a proof of the indoctrination or
13:58
just the creativity that has been taken outside of the school system that has produced employees
14:04
aka 97% of our population now versus the 3% of outside the box thinkers, creative thinkers
14:13
that are not willing to just do what others are telling to do, to not be that sheep led
14:19
to slaughter, right, but to actually undertake to take whatever it is that task at hand and
14:25
to actually go at it with excellence.
14:27
Okay, so I feel like you're pulling me towards your point of view a little bit, which I don't
14:35
like that necessarily because I want to be firmly entrenched in my position, no, a couple
14:40
of quick things.
14:41
Number one, I love how people from your area say like things like bag or tag or like I
14:47
just love, it just comes out like there's nothing you can do to stop it.
14:50
So that's the first thing.
14:51
Second thing, I'm going to go back to the school system, okay.
14:53
So that's kind of where you really first started getting me to maybe come over to your point
14:57
of view is because our school system and I know a lot of people done a lot of thinking
15:01
on this and a lot of writing on this and so I'm kind of giving a short shrift, but the
15:05
school is trying to like basically systematize employee mindsets, right, like let's get these
15:13
people to know these particular things in this particular order and we'll build upon
15:18
it.
15:19
And the best you can do like I remember this kid named Nick that it was in my third grade
15:23
class that he was advanced in math and so he was doing sixth grade math and third grade.
15:29
And so that's your best bet in school is that you're advanced in a subject and then, you
15:33
know, for an hour a day, you go to the big kids class and do something a little bit more
15:36
advanced, but there certainly isn't this encouragement of thinking for yourself, of thinking outside
15:43
the box and to a degree, if you only have a chaotic, you know, schooling system that just
15:47
lets kids run ragged and you know, it's kind of like this open, you know, open free range,
15:52
like parenting and teacher style, that's not great either.
15:55
At some point you got to sit down and learn the boring stuff so you can have that scaffolding.
16:00
But I guess talk to me about that's just kind of the way it is though, Riley, like that's
16:04
if your kids are in the government schools, right, otherwise known as the public schools,
16:09
that's what you're going to get.
16:10
Something a little bit different from a charter school or a private school, certainly home
16:14
school, you can do that, but then you don't get as much of the interaction with the outside
16:18
world.
16:19
And so you're not getting those lessons that you learn in the hallways or in the bathroom
16:22
at school versus, you know, the other stuff.
16:24
So kind of get into the school thing about it as well, because I can tell you've thought
16:27
about that a lot.
16:28
Oh, yeah, man.
16:29
Well, first off, I would even challenge you.
16:30
Do you want those lessons in the hallway in the bathroom?
16:33
Do you want your child to have those lessons, especially, right?
16:36
Oh, and like that's where we'll definitely disagree because like, dude, I went through
16:40
a pretty rough school in a decently rough area.
16:43
And so like, you know, hey, shut up, Riley, but like that's the thing is like learning
16:49
how to talk to somebody that is from a different background than you, different worldview.
16:54
Learning how to talk your way out of a fight, learning how to defend somebody that is smaller
16:58
than you.
16:59
If your classmates are your brother and your sister and your teacher, his mom or dad, you're
17:02
not going to get as much of that.
17:03
And look, I'm not hating on the home school community.
17:05
I tell everybody you have two options for schooling, vetted private Christian school.
17:10
Or home school.
17:11
But for me personally, I just think about all of the life lessons and how I interact with
17:15
people that didn't have anything to do with chemistry class.
17:18
Oh, 100%.
17:19
I do agree with you on that.
17:21
I absolutely do agree with you on that.
17:25
That being said, I growing up, man, I never in my life thought I would ever homeschool
17:31
our daughter because the homeschool kids are weirdos.
17:34
Right?
17:35
Yeah.
17:36
That's the claim.
17:37
Right? That's the claim, right? That was my thought.
17:40
Obviously, 2020 went down and radically changed a lot of things.
17:46
Right?
17:47
So I think a lot of people's perspective on schooling and homeschooling and all that had
17:52
had absolutely changed and there's so many more opportunities, I guess, now that have
17:59
been creative.
18:00
If there's anything good out of the 2020 situation that it's created opportunities.
18:05
And again, as an entrepreneur, head on a swivel, we're constantly looking for like, how can
18:09
I capitalize on whatever is at hand?
18:11
How can I undertake whatever is at hand?
18:14
So that being said, I have a 10 year old daughter.
18:17
She this last year, we, we homeschooled her.
18:22
So the year prior to that, she was in a private Christian school, which is phenomenal school,
18:26
truthfully, it was really, really great school.
18:28
And we decided to homeschool her.
18:31
And which to this, my stance on this is if you are able to homeschool your child, meaning,
18:39
you know, a lot of homes are our two person household incomes, different things like that.
18:44
If you're in a situation where you can actually school your child, raise your child up in
18:49
the way that they should go, I 100% believe that you should do that, okay? 100%.
18:54
That being said, we put our, we're putting our daughter back in this private Christian
18:58
school this year.
18:59
Like one year of homeschooling, it was great.
19:01
It served us in our lifestyle of travel and just, you know, the chaos of business and part
19:07
of being an entrepreneur.
19:09
So it was, it was incredible time.
19:12
Ellie really liked it, but she did miss because, you know, we brought, pulled her in on these
19:17
conversations to ultimately we're making the deciding the decision for her as it is our
19:22
responsibility as parents, but we pulled her in of like, what do you, what did you like?
19:26
What did you not like?
19:27
And you know, she did miss.
19:28
Like, I really just miss school lunch dad and it's like, okay, yeah, I can appreciate
19:34
that.
19:35
Now, I don't think that that's necessarily a strong enough reason to put her back into
19:39
school, but let's talk about that.
19:40
And we were able to hear her side of it.
19:42
I got to go meet with the new principle that they brought in and talk about entrepreneurship
19:49
and all the different things that, that they're providing this school.
19:52
And I, we actually made the decision to put her back into, again, it's a private Christian
19:57
community, a school that has, that teaches a lot of the principles that we believe in
20:01
foundationally what, what we believe and what would be great.
20:04
So I'm with you on that, man.
20:05
I do get it, but there are so many opportunities for homeschool parents right now to actually
20:09
put their kids in those situations to have those conversations in the hallways that you're
20:14
talking about.
20:15
And, and you know, we had Ellie and, you know, we're busier as homeschool parents than we
20:20
were freaking prior to, right?
20:22
Because we were intentionally putting her in situations, you know, socially and, and just
20:28
to make sure that all of that is, is developing.
20:30
She's not just one of those weirdos that you and I grew up with, right?
20:33
Well, no, like you're, you're making a lot of great points and to degree, I'm going to
20:37
say this and then we're going to get off this subject because Riley, like a month ago,
20:41
I mentioned young earth creation for like 45 seconds on my podcast and the problems I have
20:47
with it and the emails I've been getting just, boom, boom, boom, boom, you need to look
20:51
at this guy.
20:52
I wanted us just like, ah, so I don't need every homeschooler on the planet sending me
20:57
angry emails or you need to talk to this guy.
20:59
You need to do all that.
21:00
Like I love you guys, but I don't have time to do that.
21:02
But my thing that I would say, the thing that is interesting to me, at least on the homeschool
21:06
front, I know one dad in particular, his boys, he has two boys and I have two boys, but there,
21:11
his boys are like, you know, eight and 10 or something like that.
21:14
They were in the government run schools until 2020.
21:16
He was not happy with, with all that stuff.
21:18
So they took their kids out and did homeschool and he fell in love with the entire process.
21:22
Now he works and, you know, his wife is, you know, loves doing that kind of thing.
21:26
So obviously personalities come into play here, but the cool thing for them is one kid
21:31
is a little bit more artistic, a little bit more free thinking and creative.
21:37
And the other is very tactical and compartmentalized and he likes order in those things.
21:42
And so they're able to kind of like really make their education systems lean towards
21:49
those areas because like, does the artistic kid need to know how to do math?
21:53
Yes.
21:54
But do they need to go all the way through to calculus?
21:56
Probably not.
21:57
And like, you know, the systems kid, does he need to be spending a whole lot of time
22:00
painting?
22:01
No, he could probably paint a little bit so that he can at least have the experience.
22:05
But that's the one thing.
22:07
And also Jiu Jitsu is a part of these young kids lives and baseball and they're able to
22:11
kind of create a life around that now that they're still kind of in the early stages.
22:14
So yeah, again, like I said, I'm all for two things, vetted Christian private school
22:19
and also homeschool.
22:20
But you know, that's not always an option for a lot of people.
22:23
But right now, what our kids are being fed in class is certainly not coming from a Christian
22:28
worldview.
22:29
So maybe I can try that as my segue here, because the interesting thing you for you,
22:33
Riley, is you are an entrepreneur and you've expanded my definition of entrepreneur today.
22:39
So you can at least check that box, but you're, you're a faith based entrepreneur.
22:43
So what undergirds everything that you do is a Judeo-Christian ethic, a Christian worldview.
22:50
Guys, if you're not watching this on Rumble or on YouTube, he has a shirt that says Jesus
22:53
is king across the front and that doesn't seem to just be a marketing tactic.
22:57
But everything that you do, and I've heard you say this before in some of our personal
23:01
conversations is for building up the kingdom.
23:05
And that's Riley where a lot of people get really, really uncomfortable because the moment
23:10
you start talking about money, if you're a pastor, people are sending angry emails and
23:14
they're walking out, oh, they only want my money and all these different things.
23:18
And there is this kind of dichotomy in people's brains, like, okay, there's the entrepreneurs,
23:22
there's the Bezos and there's the Bill Gates is and there's those people.
23:25
And then there's the godly people that apparently just need to be poor in order to prove how
23:30
virtuous they are.
23:31
So talk to me a little bit about the faith based entrepreneur as opposed to just being
23:35
an entrepreneur in general.
23:36
Yeah, man, absolutely.
23:39
I love what you just said there too, because my perspective of a Christian, right, a faith
23:45
based person, first off, I grew up in South Dakota.
23:47
So it's like, you're just a Christian, like you're born Christian, right?
23:51
You were born on the Red Clay, so you're a Christian by Dintoberg, I get it.
23:55
Exactly.
23:56
So, so I didn't really understand what that meant.
23:59
It's just like, well, yeah, sure, I believe in God, right?
24:01
And I didn't really, none of it really made sense to me.
24:05
And but my perspective of Christians were broke, broken and defeated, like this woe is
24:13
me victim mentality that like, I didn't want anything to do with, right?
24:18
Why in the heck would I want that?
24:20
And now it's like, what are, what the heck were they thinking, right?
24:25
Or what I think, unfortunately, a lot of American Christians, first off, we're to have the
24:30
fruit in our life that other people should want, right?
24:33
And if I'm going to boldly say that I'm a, I'm a citizen of the kingdom of heaven, then
24:38
I better have proof of that, right?
24:41
And it's, it's not, not like the, uh, you know, I'm, I'm driving a Ferrari or rocking
24:46
a jet, but it's, it's the confidence, it's the authority, it's the, the fruit in my life
24:50
that other people should want, right?
24:52
And then that's from when the time I turned 15, as I mentioned, I realized I needed to
24:57
become, I was going to dive into this entrepreneurship world.
25:00
I had to intentionally put myself in circles that, that will maybe a little uncomfortable
25:06
for me, but I had to look for the fruit in other people's life that I wanted and I just
25:10
got around them.
25:11
I, and sometimes I literally once a month I would drive myself up here to the Twin Cities
25:16
where I'm at now, uh, in Minneapolis and I would drive five hours one way just to attend
25:22
a weekend Saturday success training seminar.
25:26
So they were called once a month that would drive up and I got exposed to things just
25:29
personal development, right?
25:31
Which I didn't, I didn't even heard of that before.
25:33
I didn't know that I could actually think about what I think about.
25:37
Like I can actually, you know, question things or I could actually be the best version of
25:42
myself.
25:43
And I started to just freaking consume everything from, you know, Zig Ziglar, from the sales
25:47
standpoint to, uh, uh, augmentino and Napoleon Hill and just like these, the OGs of personal
25:55
development, but what I realized is literally everything that they were referring to was
26:00
backed by scripture, like it was in, it was in the Bible and, and I, I got connected with
26:06
a group up here the summer of would have been actually my, the summer of my junior year
26:11
because I graduated when I was 17.
26:13
So I, I was 15.
26:14
I came up here for a couple of weeks.
26:16
I just turned 16 in August and I, that's when I had actually fully given my life to
26:21
Christ, uh, and, and understood that it's not about a religion or anything like that,
26:26
but it was about a relationship.
26:28
And that's what really unlocked me into this entrepreneurship lifestyle, this mindset.
26:33
And, and from there, you know, I went on to do multiple different things from a, you
26:38
know, money making standpoint.
26:40
Um, and we've done, you know, we've done nine figures that started eight separate companies.
26:47
Every single one of them hit seven and eight figures in the first year of each.
26:49
So we've done well financially, but here's the thing through that process Kyle is when
26:55
I started to, to do well financially, I realized that money was money only made me more of
27:04
who I already was.
27:06
And I realized that the true transformation for me hadn't actually taken place.
27:11
Was I, you know, what I believe was saved, getting into heaven, sure, like I felt like
27:17
I had that stamp, I had that, that, like radical kind of transformation.
27:22
But the moment, then from there, like once you give your life to Christ, people think
27:25
like, okay, life's going to be great bull crap, life's going to be hard.
27:30
And this isn't like a sales pitch on it obviously, um, but it's totally worth it because now
27:36
you're going through a testing and a, in a refining period in your life that God allowed
27:41
me to go through, allowed me to make such stupid mistakes, allowed me to go through a
27:44
divorce, allowed me to, you know, crush financially, have extreme highs, but also extreme lows
27:51
and allowed me to grow through that process.
27:54
And, and I realized, you know, what I, what I money made me more of who I already was.
27:59
I realized I wasn't that great of a dude.
28:01
It was a great magnifier.
28:03
And from there, it was like, okay, well, what am I going to do about this?
28:07
And it was for any of anybody listening money from an entrepreneur standpoint, most people
28:13
just kind of coincide like entrepreneur means you, you must just be like money hungry,
28:18
like you just, you're greedy, right, especially in the Christian community.
28:21
It's like, whoa, you're, you're greedy because money, member money is, is the root of all
28:25
evil.
28:26
Like that.
28:27
And that's, the enemy has done an incredible job at warping scripture, right?
28:32
Because first off, if you believe the Bible, you got to believe the entire Bible.
28:36
You don't get to pick and choose, right?
28:38
Which is what division in the church is disgusting to me with all the different denominations
28:43
and things of like, oh, they think is right.
28:45
And they think it's right.
28:46
They're interpretation of scripture and they're pulling things based upon what they want,
28:50
what their opinion is on that particular topic.
28:53
And without taking a firm foundational look of like, okay, this is what the Bible says
28:57
here, but this is also what the Bible says here, you got to, if you believe it is the
29:02
infallible word of God, you got to believe the entire freaking book and you don't get
29:06
to choose.
29:07
Okay?
29:08
Now you can, right?
29:09
And, you know, that's, that's, that's up to you.
29:11
But I'm going to take the stance and I'm going to breathe the, the entire Bible.
29:15
And it wasn't really man until about a, about three years ago in 2019, where I was at my
29:21
bottom.
29:22
Okay.
29:23
From the world's perspective, I would have been probably at the top of what, you know,
29:29
not, not the top, right?
29:30
But we done very well financially.
29:31
We live on a, you know, a beautiful home on the lake and from the outside looking and
29:36
people would think, man, you must be nice.
29:39
I heard that so many times, must be nice.
29:42
And little did they know, like my life's in shambles, like personally, relationally,
29:46
my wife and I, we had a good marriage, but it wasn't great, right?
29:51
We were, we're drinking every night, we're, you know, just living the good life, right?
29:55
The worldly life that it was just like, I don't want to do this anymore.
29:59
Is, is it, am I just supposed to start another business and just go make more money?
30:02
And while some people listening right now, they may be like, yeah, I want to do that.
30:06
Right, like it was, it was fun for a period of time in my life, but here's what I realized.
30:11
Money is not everything until you don't have enough of it, right?
30:16
And some of you listen and maybe like, yeah, I know that, right?
30:19
Because right now, when you don't have enough of it, it becomes your everything.
30:24
It's what you're all, you're always constantly looking for and striving for and thinking
30:28
about and, and, but when you have enough of it and it's like, there's more, there's got
30:33
to be more to life.
30:34
That's where, where my wife and I were at.
30:36
And it was just this, this straight up feeling of unfulfillment.
30:40
There's no toy.
30:41
There's no jet.
30:42
There was nothing that was going to satisfy me from this feeling of unfulfillment.
30:46
And that's when I realized that as whether you're a Christian or not, right, you're,
30:51
if you're a believer or not, if you believe in God or not, you can be incredibly successful.
30:56
Okay.
30:57
You can be incredibly successful at a lot of things and still feel like a failure.
31:03
And the reason for that is, is if you're not operating for the God-given intended purpose
31:08
of why you were created, you will always feel like a failure, right?
31:12
I got it.
31:13
So I have a gym here in my home basement.
31:15
I have a treadmill man.
31:16
That thing is an incredible clothes hanger, incredible clothes hanger, but it's not operating
31:22
for why the manufacturer made it.
31:24
We have all been, think of us this way, we have all been created by a manufacturer.
31:29
God had, had created us in his image.
31:32
And until we are operating for the God-given intended purpose of why you were created,
31:37
you will always have that feeling of unfulfillment in your life.
31:40
And that's exactly where I was at.
31:41
And I realized I wasn't created just to build a business.
31:45
I wasn't created just to make money.
31:46
I wasn't created just to, to, even just to be a parent, like even that mindset, we are
31:52
created in his image to be in relation with him and to glorify him and everything that
31:58
we do.
31:59
We talk about having this idea of excellence, whatever I put my hand to.
32:03
If you're a stay-at-home dad, if you're a janitor, if you're a plumber, if you are
32:08
a NASCAR driver, whatever you are, be excellent, whatever you put your hands to, be excellent
32:15
and operate in that excellence.
32:17
But until you know him and you have a relationship with him, as your creator, you will always
32:22
have that feeling of unfulfillment.
32:23
I have no doubt in my mind, I see it in a lot of my friends that have still yet to fully
32:29
surrender and just understand that they are in need of a savior until that actually has
32:39
that realization mentally, but more so emotionally and in your heart, you're just going to always
32:44
feel that way and you're going to move to the next thing, to the next thing, to the
32:46
next thing.
32:47
Right.
32:48
Prolon's five-day fasting mimicking diet is a clinically developed nutrition program designed
32:53
to promote fat loss while protecting lean body mass.
32:56
Developed at USC's Longevity Institute, it assists the body in entering a fasting-like
33:00
state that helps reset metabolism and target visceral fat.
33:04
In just five days, Prolon offers a science-backed approach to weight loss without extreme restriction
33:09
or guesswork.
33:10
It's always window dressing and so it's like, you know, it's shuffling the deck chairs
33:19
on the Titanic.
33:20
It's like, okay, you're crushing, you know, you've got the perfect body, you've got the
33:23
perfect wife, you've got the perfect house, you've got the perfect everything and I live
33:26
in a community where there is a lot of that.
33:29
There are a lot of people that are perfectly put together, but their lives are absolutely
33:32
in shambles because Christ isn't at the center of it.
33:34
And so I think that that's incredibly important.
33:36
Now, you brought a lot of things up there, Riley, that I want to kind of get back to.
33:40
There's a reason when we're looking at scripture why Jesus talks about money so much.
33:43
There's a reason why money brought up so many times in the scripture because it's important.
33:48
You don't spend a lot of time talking about things that aren't important.
33:51
So, but also if you're Jesus, you want to talk about things that are going to be potential
33:55
stumbling blocks for people because there in my career, there have been times of extreme
34:00
plenty in times where we were like, you know, when we first got married, I've told this
34:03
on the show before, like we bought one of those big pizzas from Sam's and it wouldn't
34:07
fit in our little bitty, you know, refrigerator in our 500 square foot, you know, duplex we
34:11
were living in.
34:12
But it was below freezing outside.
34:13
So we set it outside.
34:14
We're like, all right, we're going to make this in the morning.
34:16
We go out there and apparently a raccoon or something have eaten it and like, you know,
34:20
it's a funny story now.
34:21
But at the time, like we calculate that was going to be like three meals for my wife
34:24
and I and we're like 22 years old and, you know, because so I've seen the entire game
34:28
and I ran the entire game and of all this kind of stuff, but I think you're right.
34:32
And you don't have enough money to where you can, to where you can just breathe, to where
34:38
you're not stressed about the bills being paid, stressed about the creditors calling
34:42
or those different things.
34:43
You don't have peace and it's very, very hard to have peace.
34:46
So again, it's not worshiping money because money doesn't fix you and it doesn't save
34:50
you.
34:51
But having enough of it does help you to be able to focus on those other things mentally.
34:56
But what all that kind of comes down to for a lot of people, Riley, and you probably knew
34:59
I was going to go here is prosperity gospel, like, hey, man, if you just follow me and
35:05
send me some of your money, I'm going to make sure I bless that money and it's going to
35:09
come back to you 10 fold.
35:11
Why?
35:12
Because I'm wearing a nice suit and I'm on stage with a microphone.
35:15
Like that's the idea when Christians start talking about money, they start talking about
35:20
the blessings of the Lord and look at how much money I've created and look how big of my
35:23
businesses are and look how much I made when I sold it and all that kind of stuff.
35:27
People immediately go there and say, what exactly are you advocating for?
35:31
So when someone brings that up, I know that's not the first time someone said that to you.
35:35
What do you say?
35:36
What do you say to them?
35:37
Yeah.
35:38
Yeah.
35:39
It comes back again to what I had said before.
35:40
You got to believe the entire book, right?
35:43
You don't get to just cherry pick and take one scripture and run with it, right?
35:48
Because if you, if you have that mindset, cool, you're going to have poverty gospel or you're
35:52
going to have prosperity gospel.
35:54
And I want the gospel.
35:56
That's all I give a rip about.
35:57
I don't care.
35:58
And yeah, those dudes that are like, Hey, buy my prayer, my green prayer cloth, right?
36:02
Like, they're going to get what's coming to them, what I, you know, so, and, but that's
36:07
a hundred percent not what I'm talking about scripture tells us that it is God that gives
36:12
us the ability to create wealth.
36:15
Okay.
36:16
And whether a lot of people, man, I think you mentioned like Bezos and, and, and he even
36:24
Bill Gates, um, these guys that are maybe doing it for a wrong purpose and intended purpose
36:31
for wrong, a lot of them are still operating by, by God given principles within the Bible
36:37
on, on how to, how to operate, right?
36:40
And first off, I do want to just say we have a skewed approach to, to money and wealth and
36:46
on everything.
36:47
If you live in America, I think most of your listeners probably are here in the U S and
36:51
so we have sight, we're so freaking blessed to live in this country as jacked up as it
36:56
is.
36:57
We are still blessed.
36:58
And that's why we need to continue to fight for what's right in this country.
37:01
Um, but we, we have the opportunity to make an insane amount of money compared to other
37:06
areas of, of the world.
37:08
And, and this again is we, if it's God that gives us the ability to create wealth, he
37:15
also, whether I'm in, you mentioned, man, it's when you have money, you have peace.
37:21
And I'm going to, I'm going to challenge you on that and even in our listeners, because
37:24
I've gone through this and I've even recently, dude, the, the things that we're, we're declaring,
37:29
I've got a three series book coming out, the kingdom entrepreneur series, talking specifically
37:35
on entrepreneurship and then kingdom money principles.
37:38
And one of the first ones being tithing, right?
37:41
If, if, and this is where a lot of pastors are like, they, they squirm in their seat.
37:45
They just hate talking about money because they don't want to lose their, their congregation,
37:49
their membership within the church.
37:51
When that's what they got to hit it dead on, because you got to understand that if, and
37:55
this is, this starts at the top though, if your pastor is like that and squirming and
37:58
uncomfortable, then he's got to get a girl set and actually lead, right?
38:03
He needs to lead the way that the Bible tells us, because tithing isn't for God, God doesn't
38:08
need your money.
38:09
I literally just wrote down, God does not need your money.
38:13
Yeah.
38:14
Of course, dude, he's, you think he's like, man, I got rent coming up this week.
38:19
Man.
38:20
I hope these guys talk.
38:21
I had some extra money to do whatever I need to do as the creator of the cosmos.
38:26
Seriously.
38:27
And so what it is, guys, and, and who you tied to, if, first off, if you, if you tie, if
38:32
you're a Christian, tied to your local church, whoever you're getting fed by spiritually,
38:36
right?
38:37
Who is that spiritual authority in your life?
38:39
That's what, what I believe, where the tithe needs to go.
38:41
Okay.
38:42
It should hopefully be your local church, but the tithe isn't even necessarily for them.
38:47
Yes, they have, but the tide, the principles, the spiritual principles, because here's the
38:51
thing, money is a spiritual, it operates in the spiritual realm.
38:57
I want to say that it doesn't operate in the natural realm that we think.
39:00
Okay.
39:01
And this may get people a little kind of like, what the heck is this guy talking about here?
39:04
But here's what I'm saying.
39:05
I promise you that the day that I committed to tithing, I was 24 years old.
39:09
I had, I had six figure businesses mid to low six figure businesses.
39:13
I'd never done over a million dollars in my life.
39:15
The day that I committed to, to tithing, I was 24 years old, that net very next year,
39:21
actually within six months, I had done $2.1 million in revenue.
39:26
The next year, 12 million.
39:27
The next year, 12 million.
39:28
And here's the deal.
39:29
I didn't, I didn't give to get, right?
39:31
We're not, we don't, this isn't the type of like we're going to the casino and I'm going
39:34
to give to get, but there is a spiritual principle at play here and it comes down to obedience,
39:39
right?
39:40
And tithing is what I believe, I believe they're four kingdom money principles, ownership
39:45
and that God owns everything.
39:48
Okay.
39:49
You don't own it.
39:50
Right?
39:51
And here's, here's the, here's a good test for you.
39:53
If there is something in your life that you, you would struggle to give away, I would challenge
40:00
you that you don't own that, that thing owns you, whether it's your house, your car, your
40:05
favorite watch, right?
40:06
If you're, and you're like, if somebody said, give that to me, rich young ruler for those
40:10
in the, in the Bible, like, Hey, you got to give this away.
40:12
And if it's like, I don't want to do that, you don't own that.
40:15
That thing, that material possession owns you and, and as an active obedience back to
40:21
tithing, as an act of obedience, it is, it's just like, I'm going to give the 10% because
40:26
that's where it starts.
40:27
And then from there, if I, if I can give above and beyond, I want to make myself available
40:33
to, to what God needs, right?
40:35
Not, not what God needs.
40:36
Excuse me.
40:37
To what God puts on my heart to fulfill somebody else's need.
40:39
God doesn't need your money, but part of being so blessed to live in this country.
40:44
We have, we are, we have so many opportunities at hand to make money.
40:49
And ultimately, the Bible tells us you cannot serve two masters and it talks more about
40:54
money than it does about faith and salvation, like three times the amount combined.
40:59
There's over 2,400 references in the Bible to wealth, money and possessions.
41:03
So if it's important for God to put it in the Bible, I think it's important for us to,
41:07
to talk about it, right?
41:08
And for any pastors listening to this, grow a set of nuts and actually talk about this
41:12
with your congregation, because it ain't for you, it's for them.
41:16
And if you're, if you're partaking in a church or in that that has this broke, broken, defeated
41:21
mindset, step up to the plate and receive what scripture actually tells us about this, because
41:28
it comes back to, to obedience and knowing that it's not what somebody else is going
41:32
to do with it.
41:33
It's what, what God has told us to do, how to act in spiritual principles that apply from
41:38
ownership.
41:39
I'm going all over the place here, Kyle, but somehow I'm going to get back to the point
41:43
here.
41:44
No, you don't.
41:45
Right.
41:46
There's stewardship.
41:47
Okay.
41:48
So God owns everything.
41:49
There's stewardship.
41:50
Like we are managers.
41:51
We are managers of what He's given us.
41:53
And if we steward with the little, some of us have a lot right now, some of us have
41:57
a little, but no matter what steward, well, what you have, because as a steward, we're
42:03
called to manage.
42:04
And if you think of a, if any of you have a money manager right now, you don't give
42:09
your money to a money manager and be like, Hey, just don't lose that.
42:12
Right.
42:13
And you wouldn't even be happy if he just stayed the same.
42:17
You give it to him to grow, to multiply, right?
42:21
If you have a financial advisor and he comes back and he's like, yeah, we didn't make
42:23
anything this year.
42:24
You'd be like, I'm going to find another advisor, right?
42:27
Which is exactly what the master did in the parable of the talents.
42:31
Okay.
42:32
There's, if you guys haven't read this before, the parable of the talents, the master, there's,
42:37
there's three servants here.
42:38
He gives each of them according to their ability.
42:42
This is what scripture says.
42:43
And right when I read that, I've read this hundreds of times, but when I had the revelation
42:48
of this, I was like, he gave each of them according to their ability.
42:51
I was like, cause originally I'm like, well, why'd one get one?
42:54
Why'd one get two?
42:55
And why'd one get five?
42:56
Like that's not fair.
42:57
Like how many of us think that way we're right now?
43:00
Like it's not fair.
43:01
Right?
43:02
Well, first off, life ain't freaking fair.
43:03
The master gets to choose who he's given what to, but it's based upon their ability.
43:09
Okay.
43:10
And when I realized that, I was like, Oh, snap, how do I make?
43:12
I want to be the one that that's able.
43:14
I want it.
43:15
I want the guy.
43:16
I want to be the one that gets five.
43:17
And here's what we've broken this down to.
43:19
Our ability is based upon three things when we, when we read this parable of the talents.
43:23
Number one, it's our availability, right?
43:26
Are we making ourselves available to God?
43:28
Are we putting ourselves in a position in which we can make a decision or act when prompted,
43:36
right?
43:37
And this comes back to entrepreneurship, man.
43:38
What I'm saying is a lot of people are working a nine to five job and they physically, they
43:44
can't do certain things because they're tied to a job.
43:47
They are serving money in their poverty.
43:52
I'll come back to that, okay, because there's, we can't serve two masters, right?
43:57
But so if this is why I love entrepreneurship, leveraging time so we can, we can ultimately
44:02
get money to leverage money so we have time.
44:05
So we're, we're, we're given according to our ability based upon the availability, are
44:10
we making ourselves available to God?
44:11
Have we put ourselves in a position where financially I'm not stressed, right?
44:15
And it's not money that gives us peace.
44:17
I know that you said that it's not absolutely not money that gives us peace because I know
44:21
broken people that are a piece, an incredible piece, okay, and one of them, extreme highs,
44:29
I had a lot of money and I had some of the most anxiety written times in my life.
44:34
The great theologian, Biggie Smalls, Mo money, Mo problems is very true, right?
44:41
So it's not peace, it's not money that gives us peace.
44:45
Now if we, if we've steward well, if we've, if we've lived a life or if we've now chosen
44:51
to live a life that's going to steward well, we can now make ourselves available, okay?
44:56
So make, we're making ourselves available.
44:58
Now I'm going to, am I going to be responsible enough, the parable of the talents again,
45:02
he gives according to their, their ability based upon their availability, those that
45:06
are being responsible, the one that had one just buried it, the one that had two went
45:11
and put it to use, this is why as entrepreneurs, if you're, if you're a believer, we are to
45:16
saving money is yes, there's, there's some wisdom to save, right?
45:20
But there's more wisdom to put it to use.
45:22
How you make money serve you as you put it to use, the guy who had two doubled it, the
45:27
guy who had five doubled it again.
45:29
The one who had one, the master came back to basically be accountable, right?
45:34
That's the third thing.
45:35
Our ability is availability, responsibility, and then accountability.
45:39
We're going to be accountable one day or another, right?
45:42
Right now you're probably accountable to your boss, maybe your employees, maybe your spouse,
45:46
your kiddos, you're accountable, but at some day you're going to kick the bucket and you
45:49
are going to be accountable.
45:50
And my, my life at this point has, has been committed to, I only want to hear these words
45:57
and it is well done, good and faithful servant.
45:59
Like that is the, the purpose of why I am alive at this point in time in my life.
46:05
And the reason that the, the gentleman, the servant who just buried it, he had won.
46:12
It was because what I believe was his mentality of who the master was.
46:18
I believe that our, our, our thought process, our understanding of God is an indirect correlation
46:28
with our thought process of money, right?
46:30
So this servant, he was scared.
46:33
When he came back, the master came back, the servant said, I knew you to be a hard man.
46:38
I knew you to be a hard man.
46:39
So I just buried it, didn't put it to use.
46:43
So when he comes, and this is the funny thing, if you actually read it, he doesn't even say
46:47
here it is, he says, it's over there.
46:49
I buried it.
46:50
It's like over there.
46:51
Like the other two are like, I did two, here's four.
46:54
I did five, here's 10.
46:56
And the servant, the buried, it's like, it's buried in and it's over there.
46:59
It's like how wicked and lazy, he literally calls him wicked and lazy, takes the one and
47:06
gives it to the others that actually put it to use.
47:09
These are kingdom principles here that if we can actually get under these and operate
47:14
that we are to steward money, so ownership stewardship, right, the third one is going
47:20
to be worship, which is tithing.
47:22
And then the fourth one is kingship, which is how we, when we get into like true principles
47:28
and laws of sewing and reaping, we reap what we sow, not just financially, but with our
47:35
words and all other things.
47:36
But I've been talking for a long time, man, I was back to you, reel me back in here, as
47:42
you can tell, I get pretty fired up about this.
47:43
No, you're good.
47:44
And so like, I think that was easy for people to follow because it all kind of comes back
47:48
to that same central theme, which is that money in and of itself isn't an animate object.
47:53
It doesn't do anything.
47:55
It doesn't change who you are.
47:57
It elevates who you already are, and it may reveal some things about you once you get
48:00
access to it.
48:01
But a point that you made a little bit ago was about pastors that listened to this.
48:05
And I know there are pastors that listen to this, like always, you always need to remember
48:08
that your flock does need direction.
48:10
Does that mean that you need to be preaching the news cycle?
48:13
Not necessarily.
48:14
But what it does mean is that if you're not talking about money, do you assume that your,
48:20
your flock has a godly view of money, or are they perhaps taking their cues about money
48:24
from the world?
48:25
So don't be shocked when your flock doesn't know anything about money, but when they're
48:29
sitting in your pews or in your chairs on Sunday and you don't talk about it.
48:33
And then they do what the world tells them to do and then you castigate them for it.
48:36
It's like, bro, like it is on them to read the Bible, but it's also on you to lead them.
48:40
So I think that that's very important.
48:42
But where this kind of coalesces to Riley is, you know, you've done a lot of things in business,
48:46
but how you and I got connected with something called Kings Council.
48:49
So if you're watching this, this has been behind you the entire time we've been talking
48:52
is Kings Council.
48:54
So this, I don't want to mess up exactly what it is because I know what it is to me in my
48:58
experience because you didn't invite me to kind of come speak to one of your groups,
49:02
which was, was a lot of fun.
49:03
I got to do that a few weeks ago, but explain to us, you know, the outworking of your Christian
49:08
faith inside of entrepreneurism and how that led to the Kings Council.
49:12
Yeah, man.
49:13
Yeah.
49:14
Thank you, dude.
49:15
So this is truly back again, three years ago, when I just had this feeling of unfulfillment
49:19
and I'd been a part of business masterminds in groups that are like, you know, coming
49:24
together to be better businessmen, to grow, to actually make more money.
49:29
But at the end of the day, none of them were rooted in what I considered truth, right?
49:34
With actual truth, not your truth or her truth or his truth, like what is truth, the foundation
49:39
of the Bible, right?
49:41
And as I scanned the internet, essentially, in 2019, kind of going into 2020, I was like,
49:48
there's nothing out there that has this purpose that can be bold.
49:55
Like it's a lot of these Christian communities, and this isn't a shot on Christian community.
49:59
I am a Christian, but a lot of them are just like these weak, freaking timid, woe is me
50:05
mentality.
50:06
Even the ones that are in like business meetings, it's like, let's come together and have coffee.
50:10
Like, no, I want to have a freaking Red Bull and go work out and talk business, right?
50:14
Like, let's do that together.
50:16
And I didn't see anybody that was doing that.
50:19
And so right then, it's like, well, if it's not out there, maybe we should create it.
50:26
And that was just kind of the start of what's known as the King's Council now, and a lot
50:31
of it was birthed out of March of 2020.
50:35
And with the moment, like just the news, the media, everything that was going on, I was
50:40
just like sitting back going, what in that crap is happening?
50:43
This world is falling to pieces, right?
50:47
Like I don't even know what is even happening.
50:49
My daughter was eight at the time I was sitting in my office.
50:52
She came in as I was scrolling social media, of course, getting really fired up.
50:57
And I was like, I looked down on her and she came and asked me a question that I just thought,
51:01
I cannot leave.
51:02
This is call it my intuition, call it God.
51:05
I cannot believe I cannot leave this earth the way it is without doing something for her.
51:13
And I was immediately, but as quick as I've had that feeling, I felt, who am I?
51:19
What can I do about it?
51:21
And as quick as that feeling came, quicker came if not you than who.
51:27
And that comes back to I really believe this under entrepreneur mindset of the undertaker.
51:31
And I was like, all right, all right.
51:34
So we, I just started to raise my hand like, okay, this is what I'm about.
51:39
Does anybody else have these thoughts or these feelings and believe it or not, we did an
51:43
online challenge and we had multiple people that like express the same thought process
51:49
or ideas didn't have necessarily community, whether they went to church or not.
51:55
It's just like it's, we've created a community.
51:57
So the Kings Council, man, we are, we started out as a coaching company, like I was charging
52:03
people to be a part of this community and it was great, right?
52:07
Like we, we've had it over, you know, three, four hundred people that have come through
52:11
our coaching program, which has been great.
52:14
But I just felt over the last like six months, like what my heart has been really broken
52:20
for the church here in America, right?
52:23
And I think it's completely whack, not all, right?
52:26
I'm going to take that into consideration.
52:29
There's some amazing churches that have really grown through everything and in our leading
52:32
by example.
52:34
But with, again, what I read in the Bible and what, how we are to operate as the body
52:39
of Christ.
52:40
Like I don't see that happening in the majority of churches, buildings that people are going
52:44
to for a motivational seminar on Sunday and then living the life, whatever the heck they
52:49
want throughout the rest of the week.
52:51
And especially entrepreneurs, we think differently, we're a little different, right?
52:57
And again, you don't have to be having your own business at this point.
53:01
You could still be working, but you feel a little different, right?
53:04
If you were the kid in class growing up, that was always like ADD or, you know, roaming
53:08
around and like, you're, that's okay.
53:12
It's absolutely okay.
53:13
We think differently.
53:14
And here's the thing, I realize that while some church organizations and groups serve
53:19
certain organizations well, it usually is like whatever the senior pastor is most passionate
53:24
about, like that's what they're about, like we're about missions or we're about leadership
53:29
or we're about women's ministry, whatever it is, like there's, first off, they should
53:35
be about Christ, God, and then they should have resources for every single organization
53:42
out there, right?
53:43
And it should, I mean, we need to be resourceful as the body of Christ, like we need to be
53:49
resourceful in doing this together, not like, are you Lutheran or are you Presbyterian?
53:54
Okay.
53:55
No dancing in church.
53:56
Okay.
53:57
Can I raise my hand?
53:58
It's so sickening to me on all the division within the local church.
54:04
And my heart with the King's Council, we became a nonprofit ministry July 1 because I really
54:09
felt God just saying, this is how we're going to truly change the landscape in America here
54:15
to start.
54:16
I believe worldwide at some point, we're going to truly change the landscape of what people
54:20
believe Christianity actually is based upon what, what someone's preaching from the front
54:25
of the room, even though you've seen it now, like how many lead senior pastors are getting
54:31
accused of molestation, all this crap, it's just like, it's going to implode.
54:36
And the true faithful undertakers are going to be there to lock arms with people to actually
54:43
truly continue to lead this kingdom advancement.
54:47
And that's what the King's Council is is we want to come alongside the local church, local
54:52
groups, local believers and serve the entrepreneurs as an extension of their existing ministry.
54:59
Whatever that is, like as an extension of it, let us serve those that maybe think a little
55:04
different, right?
55:05
That aren't that when we see something, it's like, oh, how can I make this?
55:08
How can I grow this?
55:09
How can I scale this?
55:10
Is there, can I, you know, make this better?
55:12
We want to co-create with people.
55:14
And that's really what the King's Council is about.
55:17
Now, first off, King's Council, I ain't a king, right?
55:20
First off, I'm a king only because the Great King, Jesus is King, created me in His image,
55:28
just like you, Kyle.
55:29
So Jesus is King.
55:31
We are the King's Council.
55:33
Therefore, we sit on the Council of the King.
55:35
I want to be crystal clear.
55:36
I ain't sitting here braggadociously saying I'm a King and you're a king.
55:40
And it's like, no, no, while I believe we can operate in that authority, we should have
55:44
that spiritual authority on this earth to operate as kings and priests.
55:48
So we are called and we are told we are kings and priests, right?
55:52
So I can have authority, but I can also have a soft side like a priest, right?
55:58
Some of the most amazing people, amazing people, even throughout scripture, they were kings
56:02
and priests.
56:04
And that, and I believe that's what we are.
56:05
Now, if you feel like called in the entrepreneur space where it's like, I feel like I've been
56:10
created to make money because here's the thing.
56:14
So many Christians in the Christian community just think, well, God's going to take care
56:20
of it.
56:21
Here's their mindset.
56:23
I'm not greedy.
56:24
I just need enough for me.
56:26
Like why are you always trying to go get more?
56:28
I just need enough for me.
56:29
And I'd like to slap those people right upside the face and tell them they are the greediest
56:34
person on the planet.
56:35
Because if your mindset is that you only need enough for you, are you kidding me?
56:41
You are the greediest person that I know, versus I never set an income goal without
56:46
first setting a giving goal.
56:48
Like that's, that's priority number one.
56:51
Like I would love to tie a million dollars this year.
56:54
Well, that means I got to make a hundred million, right?
56:57
I would love to tie 10,000.
56:58
I got to make a hundred thousand, right?
56:59
And then we can give above and beyond.
57:02
And these are the principles that first off, just the community that we've created, it's
57:07
completely free.
57:08
The Kings Council community, there's no charge in this.
57:11
It's a ministry.
57:12
We do growth calls every single Monday.
57:14
We hop on live for our Monday growth calls, the one that you spoke on, man, which is epic.
57:19
We do Bible study Wednesday mornings, where we're launching the Kings Academy, which
57:24
I do.
57:25
I'm super stoked about you got me talking about the kids, you know, indoctrination within
57:30
the school system.
57:31
We got the Kings Academy starting.
57:32
But at the, at the end of it, we are a group of, of kingdom entrepreneurs.
57:38
We're here to undertake.
57:39
Yes, a lot of us have been given that, that ability to make money, to create wealth.
57:44
And if you live in America, I would challenge you that it's, it's literally every single
57:48
one of us.
57:49
There are so many people in other countries that do not have the ability.
57:53
I don't care what your race is, you're going to play the race card with me.
57:56
I don't care what if you're a man or a woman.
57:58
I don't care.
57:59
You, if you live in this country, you have every opportunity to make money, to create
58:05
wealth.
58:06
And you should, you should take that so seriously, because for you to make even an additional
58:11
20 grand, 30 grand, 40 grand a year, that's, you could change somebody else's life.
58:17
If that's your heart, right?
58:19
If you want to make it to go buy a car, whatever, I don't care, that's, that's between you.
58:22
I don't give a rip, like between your convictions, that's between you and God.
58:27
I've got mine.
58:28
I love yours.
58:29
But I want to help people essentially come alongside be that catalyst to be the best
58:34
version of themselves there.
58:36
So we can advance the kingdom, right?
58:39
Like, that's what this is all about.
58:40
I, I know that I, I'm a millionaire.
58:43
I'm fully confident I will be a billionaire for the king, the advancement of the kingdom
58:48
of God.
58:49
And that's what the king's council is founded on is we are on mission.
58:53
Our mission is to be provision for the vision of the kingdom of God, like of, of advancement,
59:00
right?
59:01
And then until he returns, scripture tells us that he ain't returning until every ear
59:05
has heard, I consider that a freaking challenge.
59:09
And, and I do know that it is going to take an incredible amount of money.
59:13
Can we pray about it and just expect God to drop radios to people in, you know, the swamp
59:20
of wherever country it is and they're now they're going to hear the gospel.
59:24
Sure, I guess, but I do know that God has called us.
59:28
He created us to use us to work through us.
59:31
And if we've been given that ability and he's not returning until that happens, I want to
59:35
be the catalyst for the second coming of Christ.
59:38
And that really is what I believe the king's council is, is standing upon in who we're
59:42
calling for to be a part of our community, lock arms with us and let's advance.
59:47
Like let's go make money, right, but let's be accountable to each other.
59:51
And let's, let's grow the kingdom of God all the while leading by example for our, our
59:57
spouse.
59:58
Okay.
59:59
Cause here's the thing too, man.
1:00:00
If, if making money is going to, is going to be a hindrance for your marriage, I will,
1:00:04
I refuse to help and coach anybody that that'll, that that would be a hindrance.
1:00:09
I believe God would rather have you broke and broken under a bridge, but in relationship
1:00:14
and a rock solid relationship with your spouse than to have money hinder it.
1:00:18
Okay.
1:00:19
And I'm a prime example of, of what happened in that situation, because marriage second
1:00:24
to God is your number, that's your number two.
1:00:26
Okay.
1:00:27
If that ain't solid and then your kids and then your business, if those, if those three
1:00:32
aren't first and then your business, everything else is for not, right?
1:00:36
And that's the foundational principles that, that we teach on within the king's council,
1:00:39
man.

1:01:10
Well, and Riley, just to kind of echo something that you said, because again, I want to make
1:01:14
sure that people aren't hearing something that you're not saying, because you're trying
1:01:16
to be clear, but then people will, will just take little things and they won't apply everything.
1:01:21
You're clearly not saying that God needs your money in order to do things because God is
1:01:25
sovereign overall.
1:01:27
But again, most of the ministries, I just want you guys to remember this.
1:01:30
Most of the ministries that you support, which may be the local church, which you've already
1:01:33
advocated that we do, it might be a local pregnancy resource center.
1:01:37
It might be undaunted life.
1:01:39
It might be any of those types of things.
1:01:42
Everything that those ministries do costs money.
1:01:45
When you walk into church on Sunday, what do you think is powering the air conditioning
1:01:50
unit?
1:01:51
Right?
1:01:52
Like it's not hopes and dreams, like it's not positive thoughts or positive vibes or prayers
1:01:56
or any of those types of things, which is not to say that any of those things are not important.
1:02:00
We're saying in the world that we create, we trade money and time for things that we
1:02:04
want.
1:02:05
Right?
1:02:06
And so that's, that's what you're saying for the things that you want to do.
1:02:08
I tell people all the time and I'm not sheepish about it guys.
1:02:10
We are mainly kept afloat by donations out of non to life do where we want to build things
1:02:14
out later to where we're going to be more sustainable to where donations are things that
1:02:18
we can obviously redirect.
1:02:19
But everything in order to keep the lights on costs money and I'm okay with people talking
1:02:24
about that.
1:02:25
So I just want to kind of reiterate that.
1:02:26
But one thing that I just heard about recently, Riley, because I was aware of the Kings Council
1:02:30
and obviously I came and spoke on it, but there's, there's something different that
1:02:33
you guys are doing, which to be honest, I'm not too terribly familiar with, but it sounds
1:02:37
like it's called the upper room.
1:02:38
I think I have the name, right?
1:02:40
But this is kind of almost like the next level, if you will, if I'm framing it improperly,
1:02:45
go ahead and, you know, because again, I don't know that much about it, but I have heard
1:02:48
of it.
1:02:49
So you got Kings Council, but then there's the upper room that is almost kind of like that
1:02:52
next step that, that deeper involvement, like, hey, this is where the rubber starts to meet
1:02:56
the road.
1:02:57
So if I've, if I've described anything incorrectly, you know, correct the record, but what is
1:03:00
the upper room?
1:03:01
Yeah, man, you, you, you hit it on the head, really, the upper room.
1:03:05
So the Kings Council, as I mentioned, is there's no charge to be in it.
1:03:08
If you want to give towards the ministry, amazing, right?
1:03:11
Just like giving towards undaunted life, people, you need funding, bro.
1:03:14
Like people need to fund your operation here, right?
1:03:17
So shout out to your listeners, if you guys like what, what Kyle is spitting here, consider
1:03:23
giving to what he's doing, because that doesn't, I mean, what he's doing is takes money, okay?
1:03:28
And it's, partly why we're coming alongside and what we, you know, I want to be the catalyst,
1:03:34
even for the, the, the vision that you have, Kyle, to continue to take this, this content
1:03:40
and, and the listeners that you have, like continue to grow, right?
1:03:44
We're not called to just sit on it.
1:03:45
Like let's continue to grow this thing to advance this message to the marketplace.
1:03:50
And the, so the Kings Council, that while that is a ministry, I, I do know that a lot
1:03:55
of people need more one-on-one strategy.
1:03:59
They need more coaching within their business, okay?
1:04:02
And so we've created the upper room as our, our really, it's a, we charge for it, okay?
1:04:10
It is a, a group that comes together.
1:04:12
It's a mastermind.
1:04:13
We've ever been part of a mastermind.
1:04:15
This is what I was a part of so much, prior to the upper room, I've involved in many
1:04:21
different masterminds, but foundationally, they weren't rooted on scripture, rooted
1:04:26
in the word of God.
1:04:28
And so this ain't a normal mastermind.
1:04:30
I do want to be crystal clear on that.
1:04:31
We do get together once a month, either virtually or in person.
1:04:35
We come together in person every other month for those that want to fly in.
1:04:40
We have a host of indifferent spots throughout the country, otherwise virtually we're hopping
1:04:43
on on as a group.
1:04:44
And it's truly an iron, sharpening iron concept where we, we each share what we're in need
1:04:51
of prior to this so that we can prepare in advance to, to deliver, to provide solutions.
1:04:56
We come together not to just mope and talk about what the hell's going wrong in our
1:04:59
lives and businesses, but we're, we're solution minded and we're coming together to sharpen
1:05:04
each other and then to, to leave, to apply actionable steps into our life.
1:05:10
So we've, we've taken back to the, our ability things.
1:05:14
We make ourselves available once a month, myself and Scott Thomas and some other business
1:05:19
coaches, all seven and eight figure earners.
1:05:22
And then everybody else within the up room comes together once a month.
1:05:25
You also have access to one on one coaching with myself once a month, a part in addition
1:05:31
to all sorts of tools and resources and templates and, and just business tools.
1:05:36
So if, whether you're going from like employed to deployed, we have, we, we have incredible
1:05:43
tools to serve you.
1:05:44
Like, I don't even know how to start a business.
1:05:45
I mean, I don't even have an idea.
1:05:47
Sweet.
1:05:48
That's, you're right in the spot that I freaking love to work with, to pull that creativity
1:05:51
out and, and then apply it into the marketplace and, and those that are like what we've really
1:05:57
realized, those that are crushing it or maybe just like are doing well, there, maybe they're
1:06:02
doing six, seven, eight figures, but it's like, I don't even know what am I doing.
1:06:06
Maybe you're just like who I was in 2019 where it's like, is this it?
1:06:10
Is this what I'm living for?
1:06:12
And, and if, if your vision, your vision guys is going to be what gives any sort of
1:06:16
pain purpose in your life.
1:06:18
I don't care if it's in, in, in accordance with your, your relationship with your spouse,
1:06:22
with your kiddos, uh, or your business.
1:06:25
If you haven't gotten crystal clear on the vision that you have for your life, any circumstance
1:06:29
that comes against you, Mike Tyson, I think said at best, everybody's got a plan and till
1:06:34
they get punched in the face, right?
1:06:36
And then it's like, what are you going to do?
1:06:39
And this is part of like why this community is so important and, and we can come together
1:06:44
to hold each other accountable month over month.
1:06:47
And, and ultimately then we're, we're available, responsible, we're accountable to be a, to,
1:06:53
to God's ability so he can give us more to be responsible for.
1:06:58
And that's truly what the upper room actually is about.
1:07:00
It's like those that want to go to the next level, but it costs money to be a part of.
1:07:03
It's an application process.
1:07:04
We don't just let anybody in this as much as we love your money than just give to the
1:07:09
king's council, but everything that goes into the upper room supports the king's council
1:07:14
ministry as well.
1:07:15
But it is an application process, man.
1:07:17
And if, is, is that all right with you, man, if I actually, if people want more information
1:07:21
on that.
1:07:22
Yeah.
1:07:23
Let us know exactly how they can get in touch with you.
1:07:27
Beautiful dude.
1:07:28
Just text the word upper room, so upper room to seven, two, seven, four, seven, two, three,
1:07:35
eight, six, zero.
1:07:37
I don't normally do these calls myself, but I want to do these one on one.
1:07:42
Anybody to your listening audience, man, if they text the word upper room to seven,
1:07:47
two, seven, four, seven, two, three, eight, six, zero, you're immediately going to get
1:07:51
in an application sent back to you to fill out and then schedule a one on one.
1:07:58
We'll hop on for 20 minutes.
1:08:00
You and I directly was listening to this and just talk about king's council, maybe upper
1:08:05
room, if you'd be a good fit or not, right?
1:08:07
So I would, again, I don't normally do that for everybody as time is, is, is valuable,
1:08:13
but I do want to do this for your listening audience, Kyle, and, and hop on individually
1:08:16
with each one.
1:08:17
Well, awesome.
1:08:18
I was not aware that you were going to do that.
1:08:20
So that is really awesome.
1:08:21
So guys, I jotted that down as he was saying it.
1:08:23
So again, and I'll put this in the show notes.
1:08:24
I'll make sure I put this in the show notes, but it's text the words upper room to seven,
1:08:29
two, seven, four, seven, two, three, eight, six, zero.
1:08:33
You'll get an application to potentially be a part of this because you have to apply.
1:08:38
And then they'll schedule a one on one with you.
1:08:39
Did I get all the details right?
1:08:41
You got it right, man.
1:08:42
Okay.
1:08:43
You got it right.
1:08:44
I appreciate that.
1:08:45
And as you were encouraging guys to, you know, if they like and I encourage guys all the time,
1:08:48
if you like content creators, start, you know, supporting them financially, because I do
1:08:52
it.
1:08:53
I was the worst about that, like the amount of value I got from a company like the Daily
1:08:57
Wire or PragerU or any of these other organizations.
1:09:01
And I didn't give them a dime of my money, right?
1:09:04
I was just doing all the free stuff.
1:09:05
It's like eventually I was like, no, you've got to start supporting these people.
1:09:08
So the same thing would be true for you.
1:09:10
Like guys, if this sounds interesting to you, it is literally worth your time to hop on a
1:09:15
one on one because like I know what you charge for a one on one and I know how hard that
1:09:20
is to do with your current schedule.
1:09:21
So I really appreciate you making that offer available to our listeners now, but rather
1:09:25
before we get you out of here, because I know you got other things that you got to take
1:09:28
care of today, I'm assuming this.
1:09:31
So you may not have anything to say and I could be shooting myself on the foot here,
1:09:34
but I'm assuming that you're not just focused only on the Kings Council and only on the businesses
1:09:39
that you have right now.
1:09:40
I get the sense that you're watching the horizon and watching for some other things and maybe
1:09:44
you got some other stuff in the can.
1:09:46
You mentioned a three book series coming out.
1:09:49
And so we'll probably have to have you back on to talk specifically about that.
1:09:52
But what are things that you're looking for in the future?
1:09:54
Is there anything that you can tell us right now in terms of what you're working on?
1:09:58
Yeah, man.
1:09:59
Thank you.
1:10:00
Yeah.
1:10:01
So for yes, the three book series is coming out, the Kingdom Entrepreneur Series.
1:10:06
It's the first book is fully done.
1:10:08
It's final editing right now.
1:10:09
We'll be releasing that the second book in about a month and a half, two months and
1:10:12
then a third book, it'll be available as a set.
1:10:16
It's going to be great, great, great content.
1:10:19
But right now, man, as you mentioned, kind of on the horizon, what's going on in back
1:10:24
to March of 2020, if you remember, before the Kings Council was even started, it was about
1:10:30
me looking down at my daughter and having that feeling, right?
1:10:34
I'm going to say calling, right?
1:10:36
The God giving calling and back to what I mentioned before, like you can be successful
1:10:41
at a lot of things, but if you're not operating for the God giving intended purpose of why
1:10:44
you were created, which is relationship with him, and then from there, what you do, your
1:10:49
career is not your calling.
1:10:51
Your career is what you choose to do.
1:10:53
Your calling is what you must do.
1:10:56
And I'm super pumped to say that I do know what I must do is to fulfill this God giving
1:11:03
calling in my life to start the Kings Academy.
1:11:07
And that is the next generation, the youth program that we're rolling out, these kingdom
1:11:11
entrepreneur mindset shifts, because I just think, man, if I even at 15, I didn't learn
1:11:18
all this stuff at 15, it was over the last 20 years, really.
1:11:22
But if I could start to feed that into my daughter, into others of the like, it is our
1:11:29
responsibility, because if we don't do it, who else will, it is our responsibility to
1:11:34
lead them in the way.
1:11:37
And then once they get old enough to make their own decisions, that's on them then,
1:11:41
right?
1:11:42
But I'm going to do everything in my God given power to lead them to help them make decisions,
1:11:47
make wise decisions, right?
1:11:49
You mentioned in the school system, there definitely needs to be structure and order.
1:11:52
We serve a God of structure and order.
1:11:55
And what I want to do is put parameters in place based upon core values that Ellie has
1:11:59
already even established in her young 10 year old life, where she knows the decisions that
1:12:04
she makes are based upon the core values that she's established, not what culture is putting
1:12:09
on them or what her classmates or society.
1:12:12
And that's why I'm even excited for her to actually go into back into school and be that
1:12:18
actual thermostat, not the thermometer, right?
1:12:22
And I believe if we want to, if we want to change anything, if we want to live a legacy,
1:12:27
if we want to leave a legacy, excuse me, we have to live our legacy right now as example
1:12:32
for our kids to see, so we can pass that baton on to the next generation that are going
1:12:39
to go into politics that are going to be the next world leaders.
1:12:42
Because if we don't do it, who else will?
1:12:45
It's going to come down to the kingdom entrepreneurs.
1:12:47
Man, that's so cool.
1:12:49
Because that's one thing that we've been asked to do as well is like, okay, Kyle, this is
1:12:52
great.
1:12:53
The man stuff, but I've got sons like, what do I do with these people, you know, in terms
1:12:57
of the man stuff?
1:12:58
And then how do I tell my daughters what a man should be?
1:13:00
So it's great with what you guys are doing to take the stuff that that you're learning
1:13:04
now because you're teaching as you're learning, you're constantly taking in content and spewing
1:13:08
out other content as well.
1:13:10
I think that's going to be very, very important for entire families to be able to go through
1:13:13
your stuff.
1:13:14
I mean, you think about these other entities, whether it's a Dave Ramsey or a Robert Kiyosaki,
1:13:18
like they've got their main thing, and then they've got the kids version and then they've
1:13:21
got the family version and there's, there's so many things that you could do.
1:13:25
Those are just the two guys that came to mind in terms of the money side that that's very,
1:13:28
very important for a lot of folks to do, but Riley, man, I'm a fan.
1:13:31
I'm a fan of what you're doing.
1:13:32
I'm a fan of the stuff that you've got going on and I'm so thankful that you're willing
1:13:36
to even share with our audience.
1:13:37
Again, guys, I'll put that in the show notes.
1:13:39
Again, I'll go back to my notes here.
1:13:41
Text upper room to 727-472-3860 to get the application and then schedule one on one with
1:13:47
you.
1:13:48
But man, we've covered a lot of ground in the last hour or so.
1:13:50
Is there anything else you want to get off your chest?
1:13:52
Bro, that I can't believe it's been an hour.
1:13:55
Yeah.
1:13:56
I just do want to honor you, man, and what you're doing.
1:13:59
I'm so grateful for the charge that you're leading.
1:14:03
And again, I do just want to encourage your listeners.
1:14:06
If you guys are liking this content, know that Kyle leads your support, right?
1:14:11
And she'll obviously continue to listen, share it, get the word out there.
1:14:15
But if you're moved and this is change your life, support him financially.
1:14:18
So, remember that kingship principle, you reap what you sow, this is what it's, if you're
1:14:24
receiving, it's only your obligation and your duty to sow back into that person that you're
1:14:29
receiving from.
1:14:30
All right.
1:14:31
Very thankful for that.
1:14:32
And thankful for you.
1:14:33
Riley Meek.
1:14:34
Thank you for coming on Daunton Life of Man's podcast.
1:14:35
See you, brother.
1:14:37
There you go, guys.
1:14:38
I hope you enjoyed my interview with Riley Meek.
1:14:39
But before I let you go, we are going to do a quick resilience boost.
1:14:42
Adam Daunton Life, our mission is equipping men to push back darkness with content that
1:14:45
for just spiritual mental and physical resilience.
1:14:47
So guys, just a reminder, like that was really cool that at the end, he's like, hey, I want
1:14:50
your guys to kind of have, you know, something with me.
1:14:53
So if like, if you guys want to meet with him to talk to him a little bit more about
1:14:56
the upper room, again, I've got my notes here, just text the words upper room.
1:15:00
So you PPER room, R O O M upper room to 727 472 3860.
1:15:08
So 727 472 3860, my understanding is he's going to send you back an application and
1:15:14
then you can schedule a one on one with him to kind of talk through this.
1:15:17
So like, again, guys, just you got to understand for a guy like Riley, and again, I record my
1:15:21
intros and outros after the interviews, like you never know what someone's going to be
1:15:24
like on the interview.
1:15:25
You never know what they're going to say.
1:15:26
And so the fact that he said this and he offered this, knowing what I know about him and his
1:15:29
inability to really get extra time, that's a really, really cool thing.
1:15:33
It's a really, really unique thing that I hope a lot of you take advantage of.
1:15:37
So the links I've got for you today, I've got a link to Riley's website, which links to
1:15:40
most of the other stuff that we talked about and he talked about.
1:15:43
And then one link specifically to King's counsel, so you can check that out as well.
1:15:46
All right, guys.
1:15:47
