2:19 And if you use that at checkout, you will get 10% off of your order.
2:23 So this interview today, I'm not interview, this solo episode today, this is the last
2:29 solo episode that I'm recording before my surgery.
2:31 Okay.
2:32 So if you're new to the show, I'm getting vocal cord surgery on Monday the 10th.
2:37 Okay.
2:38 So I'm recording this on Monday the third.
2:39 So you guys are going to be hearing this on Thursday if you're listening on time, but
2:42 I'm going to be getting surgery on my vocal cords.
2:44 I've had vocal cord problems basically since college.
2:47 They've exacerbated and gotten worse and worse over time earlier this year.
2:51 It got so bad that I was literally not even communicating at home.
2:54 I was basically using sign language and texting to my wife and basically whispering to my children.
2:59 And I've seen lots of doctors.
3:00 I've gone through a whole bunch of different therapies and potential remedies and a bunch
3:04 of different tax.
3:05 And now I'm going to be going under the knife.
3:06 So they will be making an incision in my neck and going in there and, you know, moving some
3:10 stuff around and adding some stuff and whatever.
3:12 And hopefully that fixes what's going to be happening.
3:15 And I just want to say thank you so much to all the guys that have sent me DMS and emails
3:19 and have called and just from people from all over the world that are praying for me
3:24 that want to see the surgery go well.
3:27 They're praying for the hands of the surgeons and the nurses because, you know, this is,
3:31 this is what I do.
3:32 You know, I talk for a living.
3:33 I think up things and then I talk them through my face hole and, you know, I do it into this
3:37 microphone or I'll do it live at other places.
3:39 It's kind of one of those things like if you're a pitcher and all of a sudden you're going
3:41 to have to have the elbow surgery, right?
3:43 Like it's like, oh man, like that's my calling card.
3:46 That's why I'm here on this planet is to throw baseballs really fast and, you know, things
3:49 don't go well.
3:50 That could be that.
3:52 So I feel a lot of weight on this particular episode today, not the least of which because
3:56 of the subject matter, because a lot of the things that we're going to talk about on the
3:59 show are really, really serious.
4:01 But in my head, I'm like, is this the last time I'm going to record?
4:04 You know, I certainly hope not.
4:06 But this, this, you know, the, the surgery, it doesn't have a high chance of having complications,
4:10 but there is a complication, it could affect my ability to talk in general, much less talk
4:15 into a microphone for you guys for 45 minutes to an hour every week or something like that.
4:19 But I did want to kind of go over a little bit of housekeeping things with you in terms
4:22 of what the show is going to look like from here because a lot of you that have watched
4:25 the show for any length of time, you've gotten used to the cadence of me doing the forging
4:29 table episode on Sunday, typically an interview on Tuesday, and then on Thursday, either a
4:34 solo episode with quick hitters or another interview.
4:37 So what we're going to do is over the last couple of months, I've, I've literally gone
4:41 wire to wire and worn myself out to get a bunch of stuff in the can ready for release.
4:45 So I've got a lot of forging table episodes.
4:47 Thank you to my team here for helping me get those all squared away.
4:51 So forging table episodes will continue to be released on Sundays.
4:54 And then Tuesdays, I've got a lot of interviews that have, that are unreleased are literally
4:58 just sitting here on my computer.
4:59 I'm going to be releasing those and then we're going to be skipping the Thursday episodes.
5:03 Okay.
5:04 That's going to be the cadence, the release schedule for the foreseeable future, maybe
5:08 at least the next couple of months.
5:10 And then assuming things go back, maybe like in June, you know, or things go well, rather,
5:15 then June, I'll come back and do my episodes and record new interviews and those types
5:19 of things.
5:20 But I've got enough content out there to basically, because I love you guys.
5:23 I want to keep getting this content over there to you.
5:25 That's again, you know, I'm so thankful for you guys, whether you're a donor or not a donor,
5:29 just a supporter, you know, our show was in the top 1% of shows shared on Spotify last
5:33 year.
5:34 So that's you guys just sending a text message with our episodes to other people.
5:37 I'm so, so thankful for that.
5:38 So kind of as a payoff, I have not missed a week of releasing podcasts since 2017, since
5:43 we launched this thing.
5:44 And so that's with, you know, the birth of two kids, that's with sickness.
5:48 That's with all kinds of other craziness, travel schedules and different things that
5:51 have been going on.
5:52 And so I'm not going to let this surgery and the potential issues with my voice stop this
5:56 from, from happening.
5:57 So you will be getting two more episodes a week and then we may go back up to three.
6:01 We may keep it at two, we'll just kind of have to see.
6:03 But again, thank you guys so, so very much for all of your kindness and all of your
6:07 concern.
6:08 I will say kind of where I'm at because I constantly get asked, I might as well answer
6:11 it here.
6:12 Are you nervous?
6:13 Are you scared?
6:14 Like, are you prepared?
6:15 The thing is, is like there's nothing I can do to prepare.
6:17 Like I literally feel and I've said this before that I'm the hoopty that somebody drives around
6:22 until they're driving on to the lot to pick up a new car and the hoopty literally bursts
6:26 into flames in the parking lot of the car dealership.
6:28 Like that's what I feel like I'm doing.
6:29 Like I'm wearing my voice all the way completely out, going into surgery and hoping that this
6:34 surgery is able to take care of this.
6:38 I am scared.
6:39 I'm not really scared of not waking up or you know, my voice being completely destroyed
6:42 even though there, there is an option that that may happen.
6:44 I'm mainly scared that it's not going to get better because it's like, I don't really
6:48 have anywhere else to go after this.
6:50 You know, we, we prayed, we've gone to doctors, we've asked for healing, we've, we've gotten
6:54 treated for healing and then here we are where I'm struggling to get through a podcast.
6:59 You can probably tell if you're watching me right now, I've got lozenges, you know, in
7:02 my cheeks.
7:03 I've got more ready to go.
7:04 I've got honey right there.
7:05 I've got tea right here.
7:06 I've got water.
7:07 I've got throat spray.
7:08 I've got everything to get me through today, but that's just not conducive to a long-term
7:12 career in speaking and podcasting.
7:14 And so that's just kind of where I'm at.
7:16 So if this is the last time I talked to you guys live, it's been a great ride, you know,
7:19 we'll keep the website up until, you know, the internet is no more, but we're just so
7:23 happy that we can produce this stuff for you guys.
7:25 So we pray that that will continue.
7:28 So today we are going to be doing normal quick hitters.
7:30 So this is what we're going to be going over in the quick hitter segment, former president
7:33 Donald Trump getting indicted, disgraced former Hillsong pastor Carl Lynn's getting a new
7:38 job in ministry in my home state of Oklahoma, the Wall Street Journal survey showing very
7:43 disturbing trends in America, a Penn State wrestler getting into hot water for calling
7:47 Muhammad a false prophet and then Florida governor Ron DeSantis winning again with parents.
7:53 But today we are obviously going to be talking about the Nashville shooting.
7:56 The name of today's episode is Nashville shooting when the victim becomes the victimizer and
8:01 there are scare quotes around the victim and we'll certainly get more into that.
8:05 Now for some of you guys, maybe you've already forgotten that this even went down.
8:09 I'm recording this and this went down a week ago.
8:12 But as you can see, the, the new cycle turns over, Donald Trump's dominating the news cycle.
8:16 By the time you hear this, because as of right now, he's just been indicted, but he will
8:20 be arraigned probably Tuesday this week.
8:22 And there may be pictures floating around him and handcuffs and who knows what that's going
8:26 to be.
8:27 But the news cycle has certainly turned over that as I've done before with other shootings
8:31 or other massacres or other big news stories is I tried to do the opposite of what most
8:36 people do.
8:37 What most people do is they run to the mic.
8:39 They run in front of the camera and they just start talking, right?
8:42 Before we have even a modicum of detail that would be required to give a full-throated
8:46 response to what we've seen.
8:48 They just run and react.
8:50 And so then over the next several weeks, they have to retract and be like, Oh, I said
8:54 this and this didn't end up being the case.
8:56 I like to wait and see when there's been a tragedy, I like to wait to see what's actually
9:03 happened.
9:04 Was the evidence that we see?
9:05 What are the videos?
9:06 What are people's opinions?
9:07 How are people trying to spin this?
9:08 What is the news media trying to do with this story?
9:10 And so that's what I've done here because I guess my thought is, is if you're immediate
9:15 thought after a tragedy of any kind, including the one in Nashville is tweet or, you know,
9:22 just react and not pray, there's something broken in you and there's certainly been something
9:28 broken in me.
9:29 I'm preaching to myself here.
9:31 That's why I've had to be very active in making sure that I wait and see and try to understand
9:35 what's happening.
9:36 And that certainly goes for both sides of this issue.
9:37 And guys, just I'm going to be taking a lot of breaks today, drink a water, doing that.
9:40 So just bear with me here.
9:43 But let's talk about the incident.
9:45 So we could go Monday, March the 27th, a 28 year old piece of human filth named Audrey
9:50 Elizabeth Hale walked into a private Christian elementary school in Nashville, Tennessee,
9:55 with two rifles and a handgun and proceeded to kill six people before she herself was
10:00 killed by quick responding police officers.
10:03 So she actually shot through glass exterior doors that were locked and proceeded to make
10:07 her way into the school where she hunted for victims and the victims were three adults
10:12 and three young children.
10:13 So Evelyn Dicouse was nine years old, Haley Scruggs, nine years old.
10:19 She's actually the daughter of the lead pastor of Covenant Presbyterian Church, which was
10:23 over that school.
10:25 And William Kinney, nine years old.
10:26 And then the adults were Cynthia Peake, 61 years old.
10:29 She was a substitute teacher at the school, Catherine Coons, 60 years old.
10:33 She was actually the head of the school.
10:34 She was killed as she was running towards the assailant.
10:37 And then Mike Hill, who was the 61 year old custodian at the school.
10:41 So the murderer was a former student of that school was autistic, was receiving treatment
10:47 for an emotional disorder, which we haven't gotten a lot of detail and most notably identified
10:52 as transgender.
10:54 So police searched the parents home where this murdering POS lived and found a detailed map
10:59 of the school where the attack took place and a manifesto, which, you know, as of the
11:03 recording of this podcast has not been released to the public.
11:06 We'll talk more about that a little bit later.
11:08 And they've already said that, well, actually, let's talk about it now.
11:11 They're already saying that they will not be releasing this murderer's manifesto.
11:16 Now they may end up releasing it eventually or releasing part of it, maybe redacting part
11:20 of it or something like that, but they have not signaled that they will do that.
11:23 I would assume that this has a lot to do with what is probably in the manifesto, which we
11:28 can assume is a bunch of complaints about how this person was othered in their life as
11:32 a quote unquote trans person, even though there's no such thing as that there are people that
11:36 think they're the opposite sex, but in reality, that doesn't actually exist.
11:40 And, you know, basically the manifesto, we'll talk about how much they blame Christians
11:43 or right wingers or something like that.
11:45 The manifesto is very likely going to make the LGBTQ lobby look complicit in what's going
11:51 on here as well.
11:53 I certainly think there is a political component to the fact that we haven't seen the manifesto
11:56 yet because if this had been a white supremacist that went and shot up a predominantly black
12:01 school and there was a manifesto, it would have been on Twitter immediately.
12:05 So there's certainly something political going on as to why we haven't seen that yet.
12:08 But as of now, the Nashville Police Department has not released an official motive for the
12:12 attack, but it all seems rather obvious at this point.
12:16 So there were the typical immediate reactions, right?
12:19 The shock and horror.
12:21 Some people are like, Oh, no, not again.
12:23 You know, everyone kind of ran to their side of the gun debate, you know, left on and right,
12:27 you know, liberals and leftists started blaming the guns and Republicans, you know, blaming
12:32 Republican policies, I guess, and then conservatives immediately key in on the mental state of
12:36 the murderer, mostly their identification as transgender.
12:39 And a lot of people on both sides said a, you know, a bunch of crap that was either ill
12:43 informed and accurate or just flat out lies.
12:46 And that's what happens when you're trying to respond and react in the in the moment.
12:49 And then the initial reaction from co-president Biden was especially egregious for its level
12:55 of ridiculousness.
12:57 And so if you're not watching this on YouTube or rumble, I'm sure you've seen this clip.
13:01 But this was co-president Biden after he found out about what happened in Nashville and he
13:06 was coming down to address an event that was, that had nothing to do with the news conference
13:11 to be fair.
13:12 But look at his, the way that he is talking here from the very, very jump right after
13:18 he found out about six Americans dying.
13:20 Let's go to the clip here.
13:24 My name is Joe Biden.
13:28 I'm Dr. Joe Biden's husband and I use ice cream chocolate chip.
13:35 I came down because they heard there was chocolate chip ice cream.
13:39 By the way, I have a whole refrigerator full upstairs.
13:42 I think I'm kidding.
13:43 I mean, he just goes on and on and on like that, you know, it'd be one thing if you're
13:48 trying to get everybody to kind of relax and, you know, hey, let's kind of ease into this
13:52 thing before we talk about something kind of heinous.
13:55 And again, it's kind of hard because he's clearly mentally handicapped at this point.
13:59 Like even if you voted for him, you have to admit that he's not all there.
14:03 But the fact that this dolt came out there and it's just basically talking about ice
14:06 cream.
14:07 Like, man, it's not the only egregious thing the White House has done, but we'll certainly
14:10 get into that.
14:11 But almost immediately you knew that there was more to this story than just some demon
14:17 murdering people, including children in cold blood.
14:21 And that's because the headlines and stories that started coming out from the media were
14:25 shocking, absolutely shocking.
14:28 And the initial reports stated accurately that it was a female that carried out this
14:34 heinous attack because it was a female.
14:37 And now that in and of itself is pretty shocking, right?
14:40 Because I think that, you know, a female, this was only the fourth female mass shooter
14:44 in US history, or it's something like that, very, very small number of female mass shooters.
14:48 But then things started to really, really get strange.
14:52 Okay.
14:53 So USA USA Today tweeted this the day of the killings.
14:58 Police on Monday afternoon said that the shooter was a transgender man.
15:02 Officials have a knit had initially misidentified the gender of the shooter.
15:06 And I mean, when I saw that, I was like, why does that matter?
15:12 So that they said that the shooter was a transgender man, but they had initially said that they
15:16 were biologically female.
15:17 Like, what does that matter?
15:18 But then it just kept going.
15:21 Newsweek tweeted this the day of the killings, drag shows and gender affirming care for minors
15:25 were banned in Tennessee this month, while assault weapons remain legal.
15:29 NBC News writer Benjamin Ryan tweeted this the day of the killings, NBC has ID the Nashville
15:35 school shooter as Audrey Hale, 28, who identifies as transgender and had no previous criminal
15:40 record.
15:41 Nashville is home to the Daily Wire, a hub of anti-trans activity by Matt Walsh, Ben Shapiro,
15:46 and Michael Knowles.
15:48 It's getting weirder and weirder.
15:51 And there were literally hundreds more headlines and tweets and articles like those.
15:56 And it seemed like people were kind of tripping all over themselves to try to be accommodating
16:01 to the preferred pronouns of someone that was killed after they murdered six people, including
16:07 three children in cold blood.
16:09 Now if we took the totality of the mainstream media's coverage in response to this, it basically
16:16 comes down to two main narratives that this happened because number one, guns and number
16:21 two, Christian bigotry, again, we're, we're absolving the murdering piece of garbage of,
16:30 of all responsibility because it's the guns fault, which are inanimate objects in Christian
16:34 bigotry, which is basically just a philosophy to these people.
16:38 And this is even evidenced by Reuters.
16:40 They had a tweet from the day after the murders where they said, former Christian school student
16:44 kills three children, three staff in Nashville shooting.
16:49 Now when you first read that headline, you might be thinking to yourself, well, there's
16:51 not a whole lot of there there.
16:52 Like that's exactly what happened.
16:53 It was a former Christian school student that did that.
16:56 But is that the main thing that we get from the story or are organizations like Reuters
17:00 trying to set up the Christian bigotry angle?
17:04 But for the mainstream media, that doesn't always cut it, right?
17:09 Where they could just easily put out some narrative and just kind of stand behind it.
17:13 They have to go deeper and they had to go farther in this case.
17:17 And the reason is because they had a predicament.
17:21 Their predicament was, in this case, the quote unquote victim in their eyes, you know, the
17:26 downtrodden, the downtrodden LGBTQIA plus member was actually the victimizer and they knew
17:33 that they knew that in order to report the story accurately.
17:36 That's how they had to describe it.
17:39 And in their worldview, victims can never be victimizers.
17:44 It's not possible.
17:46 Additionally, victims are not responsible for their own actions because of how oppressed
17:51 they are.
17:52 And yet the warm dead bodies of six people, including three children, laid at the feet
17:58 of this trans quote unquote victim.
18:02 Now a lot of people engage in hyperbole after the story.
18:06 And when you have any type of a tragedy, there's a lot of hyperbole to go around.
18:08 And I don't like to engage in hyperbole because I kind of have an extreme personality.
18:13 I like to be bold and all those different things, but I don't try to be hyperbolic for
18:16 the sake of being hyperbolic, okay?
18:19 So think of that what I just said when I'm about to say what I'm about to say then in
18:25 this whole situation, we all got to witness one of the most nefarious things, the mainstream
18:31 media and the left, but I repeat myself, have ever done in history.
18:37 They managed to turn this murdering demonic psychopath into a martyr.
18:48 They literally turned the victimizer into the victim.
18:54 Here's a tweet from the US Daily Mail, the day after the murders, exclusive Nashville
18:59 Mass School shooter was rejected by her Christian parents.
19:02 Then there was this tweet by NBC news the day after the murders, fear pervades Tennessee's
19:08 trans community amid focus on Nashville shooter's gender identity.
19:12 We were already fearing for our lives.
19:14 Now it's even worse.
19:17 And then we had a bunch of leftist trans protesters storm the Tennessee state Capitol, which,
19:23 you know, side note, is the worst thing ever since they stormed the Oklahoma state Capitol,
19:27 which is the worst thing ever since January 6, which is the worst thing ever since 9/11,
19:31 which is the worst thing ever since Pearl Harbor.
19:33 I mean, that's how we're supposed to do this, right?
19:34 You know, democracy almost died because people, you know, storm the Tennessee Capitol building.
19:39 And these protesters were videoed holding up seven figures or seven fingers rather, seven
19:45 fingers.
19:46 Why did they do that?
19:48 Well, they were trying to signify silly you that there weren't six victims in this case.
19:54 There were seven, seven victims.
19:57 They added the piece of human debris murderer to the list of victims.
20:03 Every death is a tragedy, but especially when a misunderstood trans person is killed.
20:08 Again, ignoring the fact that they had just murdered six people and were planning to
20:12 murder as many more as they could after that.
20:16 So this sentiment was actually echoed by a radical transgender group called the trans
20:20 resistant network trans resistance network TRN trans resistance network.
20:26 They said that this incident was a dual tragedy, okay?
20:30 The first tragedy being, you know, you know, the slaughter of six innocent people, including
20:34 three children.
20:36 And here's the quote from their statement that they released.
20:39 The second and more complex tragedy is that Aiden or Audrey Hale, who felt he had no other
20:46 effective way to be seen than to lash out by taking the life of others and by consequence
20:53 himself, oh, okay.
20:58 So this person who went and bought firearms with the express purpose of targeting children
21:03 for murder and a few adults got in the way, they just, they couldn't find another way to
21:09 be themselves to be seen.
21:13 So they just had to lash out.
21:15 It wasn't their fault.
21:16 They had to.
21:17 They were forced to.
21:20 The media has an objective.
21:22 They always have this objective and that is to deflect blame onto the people that they
21:27 don't like because as we know, if the shooter is an avowed white supremacist or a Trump supporter
21:32 or has ever voted Republican or something like that, it's easy.
21:35 The narrative is already baked in.
21:37 We already know those people are the worst types of people on the planet.
21:40 But if the mass killer is a person of color or identifies as LGBTQ or something, it'll
21:45 be a little more difficult, but they can still pull it off, right?
21:49 They just have to blame conservatives and Christians for being too mean and judgmental, right?
21:54 It's the classic, you know, the devil made me do it kind of thing.
21:57 You know, supporters of the second amendment will always be blamed.
22:01 Christians will always be blamed if it's a class that they can point to and say, yeah,
22:04 this is a sinful behavior and you shouldn't do that.
22:07 That's what they were going to do.
22:09 And this all kind of reminds me guys of the interview that I did with Lisa Childers last
22:13 year.
22:14 So she had me on her show.
22:15 We had a great interview.
22:16 And this was the question she asked me.
22:17 I think after she moved on to like her, her patreon side or whatever, just asking me a
22:20 few more questions.
22:22 And you know, we had talked about Jesus overturning the tables in the temple, which he actually
22:25 did twice not once.
22:26 He did it once at the beginning of his ministry and once towards the end of his ministry after
22:29 he returned back, you know, to Jerusalem, you know, after Palm Palm Sunday.
22:34 And she asked me a great question.
22:37 She asked me what tables would Jesus overturn today?
22:41 I started out with all of them, but then I landed on trans, the trans ideology because
22:48 it is completely counter to the narrative that we get from scripture about God making
22:53 us in his image, male and female, he made us.
22:57 And how more apt is that than this situation and what we've seen with this egregious conduct
23:02 by the media?
23:03 And we'll talk more about that.
23:04 But for their part, the Joe Biden White House has been just simply unforgivable during this
23:10 time, unforgivable.
23:12 So press secretary, Korean Jean Pierre said this week, our hearts go out to the, or this
23:17 would have been last week, our hearts go out to the trans community as they are under attack
23:22 right now.
23:24 Really?
23:25 We're talking about the trans community because I don't remember Korean Jean Pierre talking
23:32 about Christians being targeted for destruction, which is exactly what happened in this case.
23:38 And if that weren't enough, in addition to the chocolate chip ice cream, moronic statement
23:43 that he said when he first came down to address people, then last Thursday, co-president Biden
23:48 issued a proclamation to mark March the 31st of 2023, which would have been last Friday
23:55 as transgender day of visibility.
23:58 And he couldn't just do that.
24:00 He proclaimed in the proclamation, quote, transgender Americans shape our nation's soul.
24:09 Unquote transgender Americans shape our nation's soul.
24:14 This proclamation was issued three days after a trans person snatched the lives of six Americans,
24:20 including three children.
24:23 It's not tone deaf, like it's not like, Oh, you know, they got around the table.
24:28 Nobody mentioned.
24:29 It's probably not the week to talk about the transgender day of visibility and how those
24:33 types of people shape our nation.
24:35 So probably not the best time to do that.
24:38 And with all this and with all these stories, there's all this focus on the killer.
24:44 And frankly, I get it, you know, I'd rather know more about this murderous vile creature
24:48 than less.
24:49 Yeah.
24:50 I'd rather learn from their darkness again, a daughter lives here to equipment to push
24:53 back darkness.
24:54 You can't do that.
24:55 If your ears are plugged in your eyes recovered, right?
24:56 We need to be able to see the darkness.
24:59 But there are some very important people that are being lost in the focus of Audrey Hale,
25:01 and it's obviously the victims.
25:03 And there are some others as well, but the victims themselves, again, I'll say their
25:06 names.
25:07 Evelyn Dicouse, nine years old, Haley Scruggs, nine years old, William Kinney, nine years
25:11 old, Cynthia Peake, 61, Catherine Coons, 60, and Mike Hill, 61.
25:18 How much do we know about them?
25:21 Because we know a lot about the murderer.
25:24 But even in my research for this episode, I was just trying to find information about
25:28 these people beyond just their job and beyond, you know, people are sad and it's hard to
25:33 find anything on them.
25:35 And then another couple of people that are not going to get as much plays they need to
25:40 in this situation are their heroic officers that shot and killed the murderer.
25:44 So that's Michael Cleazzo, 31 years old.
25:47 He was nine year veteran of the police force in a marine vet and Rex Engelbert, 27 years
25:51 old, four year veteran of the police force.
25:54 And guys, just side note here, if you haven't watched the body cam video from these two
25:57 guys, you need to.
25:59 It's in the show notes.
26:00 And I mean, the entire thing from both guys, okay, I mean, it was masterful.
26:05 Now, I follow guys on social media and, you know, other different people that have heaps
26:10 of tactical experience, right?
26:12 Actual downrange tactical experience, not just kicking indoors, you know, on some dudes land
26:16 in the middle of Texas.
26:18 And many of them can be very, you know, curmudgeony with tactical mistakes, you know, they'll post
26:23 videos and point out the tactical mistakes and all that there.
26:26 They're doing it so that people will learn, but, you know, it's kind of like, you know,
26:28 just kind of nitpicking.
26:29 And I'm sure some mistakes were made that we see from these videos from these two officers.
26:34 But everyone that I saw was incredibly pleased with the performances of all the officers
26:39 and especially a kayazzo in Engelbert, especially considering the footage we saw from the officers
26:44 in Uvaldi.
26:45 I've obviously talked about that a lot on the show I talked a lot about at the time.
26:50 But cowards, in every sense of the word, they can literally hear children being systematically
26:56 murdered.
26:57 They're sitting there in the hallway, waiting on a key, waiting on permission over the radio.
27:02 One guy's getting a hand sanitizer, right, just sitting there with their thumbs up their
27:05 buds.
27:07 And isn't it so interesting that we have these two officers, kayazzo in an Engelbert,
27:13 these guys are sheepdogs, toxically masculine sheepdogs.
27:21 And they're being hailed as heroes today.
27:24 But had they not interceded to take out this murdering piece of garbage, they would have
27:28 just been toxically masculine sheepdogs, not even characterized as sheepdog in a good way.
27:34 And you know, they kind of look white, they're like kind of white officers, and so they're
27:37 probably racist and they're probably going around hunting black people, right?
27:42 Because their police officer, their pigs, right?
27:47 But in this situation, aren't we so glad that a couple of toxically masculine guys engage
27:52 this killer, along with about a dozen other toxically masculine police officers that ran
27:57 towards the sound of violence, towards the sound of danger?
28:02 Because that's the third group that's not getting any play here are all the other officers
28:07 that ran into the school and would have shot and killed the murderer or died trying.
28:12 Do we know any of their names?
28:15 Do we know anything about them?
28:17 So just let me just ask you, how much do you know about any of these people?
28:21 I mean, I'm pretty informed on current events and in this particular situation, it's kind
28:26 of my job to be.
28:27 But admittedly, I know a lot more about the murderer right off the top of my head than
28:30 I do about anybody else in this situation, any of the other people that I mentioned.
28:34 And I think that's part of the sickness of situations like these is that we focus on
28:38 the murderers.
28:39 I mean, we know by heart the names Dylan, Klebold, and Eric Harris, but can any of us
28:45 name any of their 13 victims whenever they shot up Columbine High School in 1999?
28:51 And again, they intended to have bombs go off in the cafeteria.
28:54 It was supposed to be more of a bloodbath than it ended up being 13 people killed about
28:57 another couple of dozen that were injured, right?
29:01 I can name Dylan, Klebold, and Eric Harris can't name any other victims.
29:06 That's a damnable thing about a situation like this.
29:11 So I have a lot of thoughts on this story.
29:14 And so I'm going to go through some random ones and then we're going to start breaking
29:16 some things down.
29:17 And yes, we will go into the quick hitters, but guys, this is just going to be a marathon
29:19 episode. It might be my last who Ross.
29:21 So here we go.
29:23 I'm not even going to be doing an enormous breakdown of the facts in the myths of gun
29:26 violence in America on this show.
29:28 I'm also not going to be doing a huge breakdown of a biblical defense for self defense either.
29:33 Why?
29:34 Because I've already done that.
29:35 So after the slayings in Uvaldi, Texas, I recorded episode 315 of this podcast.
29:39 And that's called standing on the bodies of murdered kids in order to take your guns.
29:44 And so if you want that type of information, go back to episode 315 in all humility, guys,
29:48 I have to admit that that episode is a masterclass on those subjects.
29:52 So please go back and listen to episode 315 of this podcast will be in the show notes.
29:56 But here are some of my thoughts.
29:57 They're not in any particular order.
29:58 This is kind of how they ended up in the notes on my phone or the text message threads
30:01 that I send to myself.
30:03 This is clearly a coordinated attack.
30:05 This was clearly a coordinated attack to kill Christians.
30:09 The forthcoming evidence, the more that we learn will only work to confirm that.
30:14 And where is all the outrage that Christians were targeted specifically for being Christians?
30:21 Because if this group were a group of Muslims that were targeted simply for being Muslim,
30:27 people would be losing their minds.
30:29 If this was a targeted attack on LGBTQ people or Democrats or leftists or communists or socialists,
30:35 people would be losing their minds.
30:37 But you know, it's just a bunch of Christians that died.
30:39 So no big deal, right?
30:40 They were probably big at it anyway.
30:42 You know, that, that book that they read that they claim comes from God.
30:45 Yeah, it's just got a bunch of bigoted stuff in there, right?
30:48 Coordinated attack to kill Christians and we're not allowed to talk about it.
30:52 Also where are all the calls for a supposed hate crime?
30:58 Because every time an unarmed black man is killed by a police officer, typically after
31:01 they were trying to kill the police officer first or someone else, we always hear about
31:04 hate crimes, right?
31:06 Now, as I've said before and probably not in as much detail as I would have liked, I
31:09 think hate crime is just a useless category anyway in and of itself because all violent
31:14 crimes have an element of hate in them.
31:17 And in hate crime, you have to prove intent, right?
31:21 That these people did these things.
31:23 They killed these Asians or these black people or these white people, and even though, you
31:26 know, they're never charged with hate crimes when you kill white people, but you get my
31:29 point, you have to prove that they did that because they have racial animus in their hearts.
31:33 It's really, really hard to do, but no one's really talking about hate crimes.
31:38 I think there was one Senator, Josh Hawley, I think he was talking about how this is a
31:41 hate crime.
31:42 Like, hey, when are we going to get to the hate crime legislation here?
31:44 It was either Hawley or somebody else, but no calls for hate crimes here.
31:49 It's very interesting.
31:51 Into those in the audience that are in the law enforcement community, the LEO community,
31:58 you have to do physical and mental reps as it pertains to running towards violence.
32:05 You have to.
32:07 So one of my best friends of my entire life, he is a police officer in Kansas.
32:12 And he's the one that actually sent me the body cam footage before most anybody had seen
32:16 it.
32:17 And so I was able to watch that.
32:18 He and I had a couple of interactions back and forth via text.
32:20 And I was like, yeah, man, completely the opposite of what those cowards and you've all
32:23 he did.
32:24 And then I kind of caught myself.
32:25 It's like, well, I'm not a police officer.
32:26 So it's easy for me to point fingers and say someone's a coward, but I didn't sign on
32:30 the dotted line or raise my hand and take an oath to say, that's what I'm going to do.
32:33 Like I'm going to be a police officer.
32:35 And he said, yeah, man, like I do mental reps all the time about, you know, if gun fires
32:41 going on or something's going crazy, that I'm going to run towards the sound of that.
32:45 And I know he will.
32:46 I know for a fact, he will.
32:49 I even go back to whenever he was applying to get into the academy or become police officer
32:55 or whatever.
32:56 And I was one of his references and they called me and the last question they asked me was
32:59 a great question.
33:00 They asked me, Hey, if you were in town and your wife and kids were in trouble, I didn't
33:05 even have kids at the time I did this phone call.
33:06 But if your family were in trouble and you weren't able to save them and this officer,
33:12 uh, you know, my buddy, if he was on his way to the house and he was going to be the first
33:17 line of offense, how would you feel about that?
33:19 And I said, I feel good, my family's going to be good because I know the man.
33:25 I know he's not going to cower in his, you know, police cruiser.
33:28 I know he's not going to wait for help to arrive.
33:31 If someone's potentially dying and being hurt now, he's going to go and I knew it.
33:35 I knew that without shadow of a doubt, but it's because of who he is, but also because
33:39 of the reps he's done.
33:41 Physical reps are great.
33:42 You have to get in those physical reps during training, but it's the mental reps.
33:45 It's, I will pull the trigger and kill somebody if I have to.
33:49 I will run towards the sound of bullets, even if they're whizzing past my head, if I have
33:53 to, to save someone else.
33:54 And if I die in the process, it was my time to go.
33:58 What I thought I have here is in the future, if you want, you know, a hint as to the races
34:04 or identities of the people involved in a mass shooting, all you have to do is this.
34:09 Read the words or listen to the words in the media.
34:11 If they talk about the gun doing a particular thing, then the perpetrator is in a victimized
34:17 or oppressed class, like a person of color or a trans person or something like that.
34:21 But if they talk about the people, the perpetrators in detail, then that means it fits their narrative.
34:27 Like, you know, when a white police officer shoots a black person, because remember way
34:30 back when, when it wasn't a black supremacist named Darryl Brooks that drove an SUV through
34:36 a Christmas parade in Waukesha, which, you know, resulted in the deaths of six people,
34:41 it was simply an SUV that drove through a Christmas parade, which resulted in the deaths
34:45 of six white people that probably deserved it.
34:48 Right.
34:49 We, we focus on the SUV.
34:50 We focus on the gun.
34:51 We focus on the inanimate objects when it's a person perpetrating that crime that we actually
34:57 like and that we think is victimized because Darryl Brooks is a victim.
35:00 I don't know if you knew that he's a victim.
35:04 For sure.
35:05 Why?
35:06 Because he's black.
35:07 He was a poor black man and we all know poor black men can't possibly be responsible for
35:12 their own actions.
35:14 So it wasn't him that did that.
35:15 It was the Ford SUV.
35:18 Another thought here is again, the, the do something people were out in full force.
35:23 Do something.
35:24 We ought to do something.
35:25 And as I've discussed many times before, they don't, they don't actually mean that.
35:30 Because when those do something, people start giving their policy prescriptions and you
35:33 dig more than one level down, you realize that none of their policy prescriptions will
35:37 work to stop things like this.
35:40 They just get to sound virtuous by screaming, do something into the ether.
35:44 Another thought here is, do you know how you can tell that Democrats are actually full
35:48 of crap when it comes to stopping gun violence?
35:50 No, no, how you can tell if they were serious about this, you know, existential crisis of
35:55 gun violence in America, they would have passed the so-called assault weapons ban in the first
36:01 two years of Joe Biden's presidency when they had control of both houses of Congress, but
36:05 they didn't.
36:06 They didn't do anything.
36:08 The same could legitimately be said for Republicans and pro life legislation on the federal level
36:12 during the first two years of the Trump administration that both houses a Congress and the White
36:16 House.
36:17 And, you know, president that was ready to sign any piece of pro life legislation that
36:19 came across his desk and Planned Parenthood funding went up and abortion access got wider.
36:25 Now, Marsha Blackburn, she is a senator from Tennessee.
36:30 She put forth the Safe School Act and, you know, this is basically where they're going
36:36 to get more funding for, you know, security and different types of interferences for this
36:43 type of violence.
36:44 And you have to ask yourself why no prominent Democrat on the national stage has ever tried
36:49 to pass a bill that would increase school security.
36:52 No one could it be the fact that they actually like school shootings.
37:00 Democrats actually like them.
37:03 Why would you say something so extreme, Kyle, because it gets them closer to their goal
37:07 of full gun confiscation, obviously, in every mass shooting, especially when children are
37:13 killed, just feel for the fire, baby, just the cost of doing business.
37:19 Another thought here is that we collectively need to stop reacting to people that mock
37:25 thoughts and prayers.
37:27 These people want to get a rise out of you.
37:29 They think it's funny.
37:31 That's why they're doing it.
37:33 They give them the satisfaction.
37:34 And the most egregious example of this from last week was a tweet from some blue checkmark
37:38 person named David Pakman.
37:40 He said this, very surprising that there would be a mass shooting at a Christian school given
37:44 that lack of prayer is often blamed for these horrible events.
37:48 Is it possible they weren't praying enough or correctly despite being a Christian school?
37:56 So the funny thing about this tweet, if there is anything funny is that if we had more prayer
38:01 in school and if Christianity were more ubiquitous in this country, we would likely have fewer,
38:07 significantly fewer instances of this kind of evil and see as evidence, we've had a precipitous
38:13 decline in church involvement, attendance, and Christian faith in this country right
38:17 at the same time that we see a tremendous increase in mass violence and despair.
38:22 But yeah, sure, keep mocking thoughts and prayers.
38:25 I'm sure he got a lot of claps from people on the left and a lot of sarcastic people,
38:30 the skeptical people that are like, yeah, this guy's awesome.
38:32 But just don't give those guys any air.
38:35 Don't clutch your pearls because it's guys like that that are being controlled by demons,
38:39 essentially.
38:41 That's why they have these types of worldview.
38:43 It's pearls before swine with someone like that.
38:46 Another thought is one of the people that was killed in Nashville was a black man named
38:50 Mike Hill died.
38:51 I think he died.
38:52 They just 61.
38:53 He was a custodian there at the school.
38:55 But the thing that's interesting here is it was an unarmed black man that was killed
39:01 by a white person with an AR 15.
39:05 But the oddest thing is happening.
39:08 Black lives matter isn't writing.
39:10 Black lives matter isn't demanding that I say his name.
39:14 Reverend Al Sharpton hasn't shown up.
39:17 You know, the the grifter attorney Benjamin Crump hasn't done a press conference with
39:21 this person's family.
39:23 LeBron James or Colin Kaepernick, they're not walking around wearing, you know, warm
39:26 up shirts or sending, you know, memes around that have some pithy slogan on it.
39:31 Why is that?
39:32 Again, to use the word I've been using all episode narrative is why it just doesn't fit
39:39 the narrative.
39:40 But again, a black person was killed by an AR 15, not a not a person shooting the AR 15.
39:46 They were killed by an AR 15.
39:48 And they can seem to find the time to talk about it, though, is that interesting?
39:53 Another thought here is people were saying that trans people are way more likely to be
39:58 victims of violent crime than to be perpetrators of violent crime, okay?
40:03 And they're citing some statistics, but the statistics are incredibly bogus and univariate
40:08 in nature.
40:09 Essentially, what these people are saying is that they will take all the people in a particular
40:14 year that identifies trans that are killed via homicide and then extrapolate that out
40:19 to the greater quote unquote trans community.
40:21 But in reality, if you look at the cases of murder of homicide, the majority of trans
40:27 people that are murdered are murdered because of domestic violence and or violence that
40:32 takes place because of things like drug dealing or prostitution.
40:36 So nothing like trans people just being targeted while walking down the street.
40:41 Nothing like that at all.
40:43 But this sentiment in and of itself just completely disregards that the person in this situation
40:50 that was supposedly trans had just murdered six people, including three kids.
40:56 The fact that they're trying to get the focus on the trans community is bogus.
41:01 It's fallacious.
41:02 It's terrible.
41:03 It's a distraction technique.
41:06 Oh, well, we, you know, we can talk about what this particular trans person did.
41:10 You know, trans people, they're just, you know, they're the ones that are the real victims.
41:13 They're the ones that really have to watch their back.
41:15 Another thought here is some of the morons in the media have said that the majority of
41:22 previous school shootings were perpetuated by white males that identified as Christian.
41:26 We've seen that.
41:27 Oh, they identified as Christian.
41:28 Well, what these simple minded morons fail to understand is that you can't just identify
41:32 as Christian.
41:33 Like Christianity isn't something made up whole cloth like the trans ideology is.
41:39 You either are a Christian or you are not a Christian.
41:42 You either have your faith in the blood of Christ for the propitiation of your sins or
41:46 you don't.
41:47 And then part of the reason why we can tell if you are a Christian or not is by the fruit
41:52 of your life.
41:54 And I think we could safely assume that if you murder people and cold blood that you're
41:57 not in fact a Christian.
42:00 And so stop with this.
42:01 Well, all the other guys, they were, they were Christian.
42:03 Oh, Hitler was a Christian.
42:05 We can tell by their fruit.
42:06 Pretty sure those people weren't Christians.
42:08 Pretty sure those people are rotten in hell right now.
42:10 Another thought here is it will be interesting to see the media try to spin their way out
42:14 of a scenario like this.
42:16 Cause I thought about this as kind of a cob.
42:18 And I don't want this to happen because I would mean there would be bloodshed and I
42:22 don't want that.
42:23 But I really want to see what the major media would do with this.
42:28 A trans white police officer killing an unarmed black man.
42:35 Can you imagine?
42:37 I'm pretty sure the universe would tear in half that stars would just begin to fall.
42:44 A trans white police officer killing an unarmed black man.
42:47 Wouldn't that be interesting?
42:49 Another thought here, just a few more and then we'll move on to some other things.
42:53 All the firearms in this case were purchased legally.
42:57 And what's interesting about that is that that actually strikes against the narrative
43:00 of red flag laws that are pushed mainly by the left because I doubt very seriously that
43:06 the left would be comfortable with someone being limited in their rights of any kind
43:10 because they identify as trans.
43:13 Because again, red flag laws are, Hey, you know, we think we know this person is going
43:17 to do something crazy.
43:18 And so we're going to go before the court and we're going to have all their, their guns
43:20 taken away.
43:21 So they can't hurt anybody and they won't be able to purchase any more guns and all those
43:23 types of things.
43:24 And typically those are people that have violent past, they have mental disorders or something
43:28 like that.
43:29 But in this case, what red flag law would have that these people would have put in place
43:35 would have triggered this trans person from being able to get these firearms.
43:39 It would have to be the fact that they would have to admit out loud that these are people
43:42 with mental illnesses.
43:45 These people need help mentally.
43:46 They don't need to be tutted and told that their, their delusion is real.
43:51 So again, they don't even mean it when they talk about red flag laws.
43:55 There was another thought here I had.
43:56 There was actually a great quote by a Tim Poole podcast where he said, the acts of criminals
43:59 do not warrant suspension of my rights, right?
44:02 So he's not a crazy right wing nut job, but that's exactly the case and criminal does
44:06 something bad.
44:07 Doesn't mean that you punish me.
44:08 You punish the criminal and people like them.
44:10 And the last thought here before we move on to some other things inside of this Nashville
44:13 story is perhaps the best take of all the takes on this particular case came from Seth
44:19 Dylan, the CEO of the Babylon B. He had this tweet that he put out last week.
44:24 We're being offered a deal except radical gender ideology, drag for kids, porn and libraries,
44:31 grooming and schools, compelled speech, the mutilation of minors, et cetera.
44:36 And trans people will stop killing themselves and murdering others.
44:39 Yeah, that's where we're at now.
44:44 That is a perfect encapsulation of where we're at.
44:47 And a Ben Shapiro framed it similarly on a show by saying essentially that the left used
44:51 to tell us that we had to accept trans people's thoughts about their identities as truth,
44:56 or they would commit suicide and we don't want that to happen, right?
44:58 But now we have to accept their thoughts about their identities or they will commit homicide.
45:05 It's just stunning how we've gotten to this point.
45:08 But all of this begs a big, big question.
45:12 Can we expect to see more targeted violent attacks on Christians and conservatives from
45:16 LGBTQ activists and members?
45:20 The answer, you bet your ass we will.
45:23 We absolutely will.
45:25 In many ways, the situation in Nashville, I think is only the beginning, I believe that
45:29 wholeheartedly.
45:31 And there are many reasons why I believe this.
45:33 Some of that is that if words and you know, wrong think are actual violence, which is
45:40 what these people believe, then you can be justified in responding with violence.
45:47 That's absolutely the case.
45:49 And that's what these people are starting to do because trans people were already signaling
45:54 that they were going to lash out violently against their perceived adversaries.
45:58 Last Saturday guys was supposed to be the trans day of vengeance.
46:03 This was all over social media.
46:04 He had these transgender people supposedly transgender people with their transgender flag
46:08 up behind him holding a bunch of weapons, basically saying things like we're going to
46:11 get even here.
46:13 They're they're holding these rifles and they're they're posting these very violent
46:16 threats on social media, TikTok, Cancer, Instagram, Twitter.
46:20 There were groups that were raising money to arm trans people and supporters for what
46:25 they would call demonstrations on that day.
46:28 Last Saturday.
46:29 Now a lot of their trans day of vengeance festivities were canceled last Saturday and they did that
46:37 for a lot of reasons, but these violent pieces of garbage just saw the writing on the law.
46:44 And remember, they are perpetually victims, right?
46:47 Because these perpetually mentally ill quote unquote victims who were planning to be violent
46:52 towards people managed to turn themselves into victims yet again by claiming that they
46:58 weren't going to follow through on their own day called the trans day of vengeance.
47:04 Why?
47:06 Because trans genocide and threats against trans people like you can't make this stuff up.
47:14 They were planning to be violent towards people that think that their ideology is terrible
47:19 and awful and bad for society.
47:21 And you know, people that pity them for their their mental state and they're not getting
47:26 any help for it.
47:27 They're just being affirmed, which is not helping them, but they have to be victims.
47:33 And they're saying because of trans genocide and threats against trans people.
47:38 And there's an important side note here.
47:40 Something that almost no one is pointing out is that there is actually a population that
47:46 is incredibly dangerous to the lives of trans people.
47:50 There there really is.
47:51 Okay.
47:52 I've done the research.
47:53 It's not conservatives.
47:54 It's not NRA members.
47:57 It's not Republicans.
47:58 It's not Christians.
48:01 It's trans people themselves, trans people themselves.
48:06 The suicide rate for trans people after they've received some sort of treatment is around
48:10 40%.
48:12 So they have all this affirmation.
48:14 They have all these plot is they get their own month to act out in the summer.
48:18 And 40% of them kill themselves.
48:22 The homicide rate against transgender people is so unbelievably small.
48:26 So as to be almost statistically insignificant and in almost all of these few homicides involved,
48:32 like I said before, prostitution and drugs again, that's where we're at now and we're
48:39 already seeing an uptick in violence from people in these groups.
48:42 Anyway, the Colorado Springs shooter identified as non binary.
48:46 The Denver charter school shooter back in 2019 identified as trans the Aberdeen, Maryland
48:51 shooter back in 2018 identified as trans.
48:55 We can expect to see more quote unquote trans murderers because these people are people
49:01 with mental illnesses and they're simultaneously being told that a that their victims be that
49:09 no one except for allies understands them and see they must demand after affirmation
49:16 and acceptance.
49:17 They must demand it now and if they don't get it, the affirmation and acceptance that
49:23 they so desperately seek, they're being taught to take it by force.
49:28 Oh, you want to accept my lifestyle?
49:30 You want to accept me as somebody that is normal?
49:34 Well, I'll make you bend the knee.
49:38 And the leftist media will continue to nuance and contextualize these attacks and murders
49:44 to deflect blame onto the victims themselves.
49:47 They've been doing it since the moment those people were killed last Monday, which leads
49:54 to an all important question here, which is why are these mass killings happening?
50:00 Why?
50:01 Now, I've talked about this a lot again, episode 315, but here's some of the most popular wrong
50:08 answers.
50:09 Because there are too many guns in this country, well, per capita, we have virtually the same
50:15 level of gun ownership in this country as we did 50 years ago.
50:19 The mass shootings and school shootings never happened then and they happen often now.
50:23 We're not in the top 10 of mass shootings in the world again, episode 315, but they do
50:29 happen often, they didn't happen 50 years ago.
50:32 It guns are to blame which, you know, every Democrat and anti gun zealot claims.
50:36 Then they need to be the ones to explain to me and to all of us why rifles like the ones
50:41 used in this attack have been around for decades and decades.
50:45 And yet the commonality of these mass shootings using these firearms and specifically school
50:49 shootings are only common today.
50:52 They haven't been common for very long in the history, the long arc of human history.
50:59 They're just coming out of the woodwork now and another popular wrong answer is because
51:03 we don't have enough gun laws.
51:05 Again, what gun law would have prevented the shooting in Nashville?
51:09 I'm all ears, but here are the right answers for why this is happening, decline in Christian
51:15 faith in America.
51:19 Those are actual legitimate Christians are not murdering people.
51:23 They're just not.
51:26 And so when you have a decline in Christian faith, you will see the uptick in these types
51:30 of attacks and the down tick and people understanding that these aren't just people walking around.
51:35 These are image bears of God and they're not to be destroyed whether living inside the
51:40 womb or outside or in any other circumstance.
51:43 Also another right answer is the decline of mental health in America because again, these
51:48 are mentally ill people that do these killings.
51:51 They're mentally ill, 100% they're sociopathic, they're psychopathic.
51:56 There may be a little bit on the spectrum or something like that.
51:59 Maybe they have some multiple personality thing going on.
52:02 Maybe they're paranoid schizophrenic.
52:04 These are people that need help and what they're getting in modernity is affirmation.
52:10 Also another right answer is the non treatment of these real mental illnesses because we
52:17 talk about mental health, but it's becoming like, yeah, you should probably, you know,
52:21 meditate and eat kale and, you know, get in an ice bath to help your mental health, but
52:28 we're not treating people that actually need full on treatment.
52:32 Another of the right answers and this is going to be uncomfortable for many of you to hear,
52:36 but we as a people as a society have allowed our, our supposed most precious assets to
52:44 become easy targets.
52:46 And no, I'm not talking about our schools, I'm specifically talking about our children
52:52 in those schools.
52:55 That school and most of the schools in this country are soft targets.
53:01 The school administrators of covenant elementary school felt that the locked doors would be
53:08 sufficient to ensure the safety of their students and staff, but as we saw, locked doors can
53:13 only do so much.
53:15 And this is further evidence evidenced by what the police chief in Nashville told us, which
53:22 is that this demonic murderer was actually wanting to attack another school, but thought
53:27 better of it.
53:28 Why?
53:30 Because that other school had a lot more security.
53:33 The risk to the shooter was going to be a lot higher.
53:36 They weren't going to be able to kill as many people before help arrived.
53:41 They avoided that school because they had deterrence in place.
53:46 The reality is is that we need armed officers at every single school in America, private
53:53 or public, all of them.
53:55 And here's the spoiler alert.
53:57 The federal government has more than enough money to pay for that more than enough.
54:03 We've sent over a hundred million dollars to help the Ukrainians fight a proxy war between
54:07 us and Russia, and as I broke down the math and episode 315 of this episode, it's not
54:13 going to take that much to retrofit the schools with physical deterrence and to get armed
54:18 guards on each campus in this country.
54:21 And if it's a big campus, multiple armed guards into the people that scoff at that idea, you
54:27 must ask them, what exactly is the argument against having more of an armed presence at
54:33 schools in this country?
54:34 What's the argument against it?
54:36 Because the only answer that I've ever seen is, well, we don't want our kids to see guns
54:41 in the schools and be scared of them.
54:44 To which I would say, have you ever taken your kid to a damn airport?
54:48 There's armed police at airports.
54:50 How about a bank?
54:51 Have you ever taken them into a bank?
54:53 We protect our money, our printed money with people with guns.
54:57 Have you ever taken your kid into a state or federal building?
55:01 Those are protected by people with guns, but not our schools?
55:06 Really?
55:07 I mean, guys, how many veterans do we have in our country that need jobs that need a
55:12 purpose since they've gotten home from the GWAT?
55:15 How many?
55:16 Hey, again, how much money have we sent over to Ukraine to fight their war to protect their
55:21 children, but not to protect our own?
55:25 And I've seen videos of veterans popping up last week on Instagram and on TikTok, they're
55:28 like, hey, just tell me which school needs me.
55:31 I'll go do it for free.
55:32 I'll volunteer, I'll do whatever background checks you need and all that.
55:35 I've got all the training in the world.
55:37 Set me up, send me to a school.
55:39 Don't even pay me.
55:41 And how about this is another thing that makes people uncomfortable.
55:44 How about teachers concealed carrying the head of the school?
55:49 She ran towards the shooter and she was killed.
55:54 She was also unarmed.
55:57 I wish she had been armed because you are your first line of defense.
56:04 You are not the police because in that situation, when seconds mattered, help was minutes away
56:12 and they got there as quickly as they could.
56:13 They cleared that building and they killed that piece of garbage.
56:16 But what if the teachers had been armed and I don't mean all of them.
56:20 I don't think we need to force our teachers to get their concealed carry.
56:23 If you don't want to carry a firearm, you should not be forced to do so.
56:26 But what about the people in that building that would have been okay with that.
56:30 That could have engaged the shooter and potentially stopped them before they killed anyone.
56:35 And yet here's the head of the school throwing her 60 something year old body towards bullets
56:41 that didn't work out for.
56:44 And we've done that because we think it's bad for firearms to be on school grounds in
56:48 any way, shape or form.
56:51 And one thing that I've noticed that is, you know, as macabre as it is interesting is
56:56 that many of these schools that suffer a school shooting, after the fact, the schools will
57:03 hire way more security and put in more security systems and deterances inside their schools.
57:10 Which begs the question for the school boards and the people running these places, why in
57:14 the world did you wait until the blood of these students was on the floor before you
57:22 decided to invest fully in their fricking safety?
57:28 Why is that what it took?
57:32 Seriously, you wait and now we're going to hear there's going to be some story that comes
57:39 out after these kids go back to school at Covenant.
57:41 They're probably going to be out for the rest of the school year, I would assume.
57:44 But when they come back, they're going to talk about the new security system and, you
57:47 know, the, the, you know, shatterproof glass on the, you know, the bulletproof glass on
57:50 the exterior doors and they're going to talk about all these different things.
57:53 Where was that beforehand?
57:54 There's a lot of money running through that school.
57:56 My boys are going to be going to a private Christian school where there's a lot of money.
58:01 And I happen to remember walking around on that campus years and years and years ago.
58:05 And I just walked right into the high school.
58:07 I was looking for somebody on that campus that I was supposed to be meeting and I kind
58:10 of went to the wrong part of the campus, I got turned around and I just walked right into
58:14 the school.
58:15 I'm walking by classrooms, walking by the gymnasium and I'm just thinking to myself, wow,
58:20 if I was a wolf, this is easy pickings right here.
58:24 This is fishing a barrel.
58:25 But again, we don't think in these terms because bad things just don't happen, right?
58:31 Yeah, until they do.
58:33 So how do we stop these mass shootings?
58:36 Again, episode 315, again, I'll tag it a ton of detail.
58:40 But I'll do the quick rundown that I did from that episode.
58:43 The best solutions possible right now are first to focus on micro problems.
58:47 So first, install full video security and barricade systems in all public K through 12
58:51 schools in America immediately.
58:53 And you know, go ahead and do that for private schools as well to where possible retrofit
58:57 every single K through 12 school in America with a single point of entry on their school
59:01 buildings.
59:02 Number three, begin the planning hiring process and training for full time security officers
59:07 to be placed at every single school in America immediately and for train the students and
59:12 faculty and staff on what to do during school shootings.
59:16 There was a lot that was actually done during the school shooting that helped preserve life
59:20 because they had actually practiced it and drilled it just like you would a fire drill
59:22 or hear an Oklahoma tornado drill.
59:25 So those are the micro problems, but then the macro problems are number one, address the
59:29 crisis of fatherlessness in homes because a lot of these mass shooters don't have fathers.
59:34 Number two, address the mental health crisis, I've talked about that at nauseum at this
59:37 point.
59:38 Number three, address the prescription drug crisis because a lot of these kids that go
59:43 on the shooting rampages are on SSRIs, you know, these supposedly harmless SSRIs.
59:49 Number four, address the end of shame.
59:52 We don't have a shame culture and it's affecting us.
59:54 It's leading to more cowardice and more people lashing out.
59:58 And that's the fifth thing is address societal cowardice.
1:00:03 But then in all of that, how should Christians respond to this story?
1:00:09 How should we as people of God respond to this story?
1:00:13 The first thing that I thought of is that we should always seek out and hold up truth
1:00:18 because there's truth in this situation and a lot of people are trying to obfuscate that
1:00:21 and hide it or diminish it or blur it, but we need to seek it out.
1:00:26 And when we find it, we must uphold it.
1:00:29 And then in this situation, it just absolutely breaks my heart, just breaks my heart when
1:00:32 I was preparing this interview, just thinking about nine year old kids and the families
1:00:37 and what they're going through right now.
1:00:38 We need to mourn with those who mourn and I don't know exactly what that looks like.
1:00:42 Not right now, but maybe it's supporting the families financially.
1:00:48 Maybe it's doing something and we'll keep our ears out with undaunted life to potentially
1:00:52 be doing something.
1:00:53 But we need to mourn with those who mourn, even if we can only do it through prayer.
1:00:57 But also as Christians, we must prepare ourselves to protect image bearers of God.
1:01:03 So in some forging table episodes we have coming up, we'll be going over to Nehemiah.
1:01:06 So spoiler alert for some of you guys or I guess I just let the cat out of the bag.
1:01:11 But especially in the first four chapters and even more specifically chapter four, we see
1:01:18 image bearers of God preparing themselves to fight off people that are going to thwart
1:01:23 them in their actions to serve God and a lot of Christians get real squeamish.
1:01:29 When you talk about physical violence and all that and then you have morons like Shane
1:01:32 Clayborn that go out there and go around the country convincing Christians and well-meaning
1:01:36 conservatives to give up their firearms as if that somehow makes them safer that an inanimate
1:01:41 object that can be used to protect them is now no longer at their disposal, thus making
1:01:46 them more susceptible to the wolf.
1:01:48 But we must prepare ourselves to protect image bearers of God.
1:01:52 We have to prepare our bodies.
1:01:53 We have to prepare our minds.
1:01:54 We have to train to do it in those situations.
1:01:57 As I've said multiple times at Nazim at this point, when someone's being violated, you
1:02:02 become a person, a woman being raped, you know, in an alleyway now is not the time to
1:02:08 text your, your prayer circle to message one of your accountability buddies, to call your
1:02:12 pastor and ask for advice to, you know, do a prayer circle to, to sing a worship song.
1:02:21 What you need to do is you need to stop the wolf from trying to devour an image bearer
1:02:26 of God.
1:02:27 You need to be ready for that.
1:02:29 And as Christians, we also must understand that not all of our enemies are of this world.
1:02:37 Go back to Ephesians 612 from the very top of this podcast for we do not wrestle against
1:02:41 flesh and blood, but against the rulers, against the authorities, against the cosmic powers
1:02:45 over this present darkness, against the spiritual forces of evil in the heavenly places.
1:02:51 There are demonic things that are happening in our culture and all over the globe.
1:02:56 There are demonic presences that are trying to keep people from God and trying to destroy
1:03:01 them in the process.
1:03:02 And in a lot of those times these forces are good at it.
1:03:08 They're able to make that happen.
1:03:11 Because ideologies like transgenderism or mental illnesses that go and check that lead
1:03:16 people to lash out violently.
1:03:18 These are things that could be handled, but they're not because we're not doing our part
1:03:23 to push back the spiritual darkness that we see.
1:03:28 And also as Christians, again, a lot of this is going to make everyone uncomfortable, but
1:03:32 here we are an hour in.
1:03:34 We must work to destroy the ideology of transgenderism while simultaneously loving people with
1:03:45 mental illnesses that cause them to think they were born in the wrong body.
1:03:50 We must hold those things in tension because the ideology of transgenderism comes from
1:03:55 the pits of hell.
1:03:58 But the people that are swept up in this ideology and this mental illness and this societal
1:04:05 contagion, they need Christ.
1:04:08 It's the only thing that can save them, not just from that ideology, but in general.
1:04:15 But many pastors and evangelical leaders are going to take the goings on in the last week
1:04:22 and they're going to, they're going to get the wrong lesson from it and they're going
1:04:25 to act according to the wrong lesson.
1:04:28 Many of them that were signaling support for trans communities or even a little bit of support
1:04:34 or something like that will now fully support it with the idea that if they do that, if
1:04:41 they acquiesce, if they affirm, if they accommodate that they won't marginalize somebody who may
1:04:46 end up being a mass murderer, they're going to think that they're going to buy the lie
1:04:53 that somehow Christian bigotry and pointing out sin and pointing out demonic presences
1:05:00 and ideologies in this world is going to lead to murder.
1:05:05 And thus, they're going to ignore it or they're going to go to the full affirmation route.
1:05:11 So here's how I'm going to wrap up my discussion here about what happened in Nashville.
1:05:17 I call on all Christian pastors in this country, many of who listen to this podcast, or we
1:05:23 have people that can easily just text it over or email this episode over to them.
1:05:27 I call on all Christian pastors in this country that have not spoken to their congregations
1:05:34 in a clear way on the issue of transgenderism to do the following.
1:05:39 I'm going to break it down for you.
1:05:41 Step one, reach down the front of your pants.
1:05:45 Step two, make sure you still have your nuts.
1:05:49 Step three, prepare a sermon that expresses a full-throated opposition to the trans-ideology.
1:05:57 Step four, batten down the hatches.
1:06:02 That's it.
1:06:05 Your flock is confused on how to comport themselves in this situation.
1:06:09 It is your job to lead them, not to tut, tut around the issue, not to, okay, we're just
1:06:16 going to move on to the next thing.
1:06:17 We're going to go on to, you know, the third week of this five week series on some random
1:06:21 topic that no one really cares about because they need God, not another TED talk.
1:06:26 It is your responsibility to lead your flock.
1:06:31 What could be more important to discuss in this moment than this than what the trans-ideology
1:06:38 is doing, and if you're a pastor and you're listening to this right now and you need a
1:06:43 little help, well, here's a jumping off point from a news anchor that might help you.
1:06:49 Let's go to the clip.
1:06:52 The trans-movement is the mirror image of Christianity and therefore its natural enemy.
1:06:58 In Christianity, the price of admission is admitting that you're not God.
1:07:03 This openly can see that they have no real power over anything and for that matter very
1:07:08 little personal virtue.
1:07:09 They will tell you to your face that they are sinful and helpless and basically absurd.
1:07:14 They're not embarrassed about any of this, they brag about it.
1:07:17 That saved a wretch like me goes the most famous Christian hymn ever written in English.
1:07:24 The trans-movement takes the opposite view.
1:07:27 Trans-ideology claims dominion over nature itself.
1:07:31 We can change the identity we were born with, they will tell you, with wild-eyed certainty.
1:07:37 Christians can never agree with this statement because these are powers they believe God alone
1:07:42 possesses.
1:07:44 That unwillingness to agree, that failure to acknowledge a trans person's dominion over
1:07:49 nature incites and enrages some in the trans community.
1:07:54 People who believe they're God can't stand to be reminded that they're not.
1:07:58 So Christianity and transgender orthodoxy are wholly incompatible theologies.
1:08:04 They can never be reconciled.
1:08:06 They are in a collision course with each other.
1:08:08 One side is likely to draw blood before the other side.
1:08:11 That's what we concluded last week.
1:08:13 And he goes, he goes on from there, but there you go, there's your jumping off point.
1:08:20 If you've read through scripture and you just have no earthly idea what to say and how to
1:08:25 push back against the darkness of the trans-ideology, Tucker Carlson's got you hooked up.
1:08:30 A conservative TV commentator, but if you're a pastor that's worth your salt, you already
1:08:36 know what you need to do.
1:08:37 You just haven't done it because, oh, you don't want to be divisive and you don't want
1:08:41 to be political and you don't want to, you know, alienate any of the trans community.
1:08:44 You have trans friends and you love trans people and you know, you're, your sermon dies
1:08:48 at death of a thousand qualifications before it even gets off the ground before you even
1:08:51 start punching it into your keyboard.
1:08:54 What's your excuse now?
1:08:57 There are people like that that are coming for people in your congregation.
1:09:00 They're coming for your children, whether in a murderous rage like that person did last
1:09:05 week in Nashville or just because they want to change their ideology, they're coming
1:09:11 for them.
1:09:12 What are you going to do about it?
1:09:13 All right, guys, let's transition to the quick hitters.
1:09:16 So here's the first one right here.
1:09:18 Former president Donald Trump getting indicted.
1:09:20 Okay.
1:09:21 According to the Daily Wire, a Manhattan grand jury has indicted former president Donald
1:09:25 Trump in connection with so-called hush money payments to Stormy Daniels in 2016, according
1:09:29 to a report.
1:09:30 The felony indictment was filed under seal or filed under seal by the Manhattan district
1:09:34 attorney's office, according to the New York Times, and will likely be announced within
1:09:38 days.
1:09:39 It's already been announced.
1:09:40 At that point, Trump will be compelled to surrender and face arraignment according to
1:09:43 the report, a lawyer for Trump confirmed an indictment to the Associated Press.
1:09:47 The former president is now the first former president in US history to ever face criminal
1:09:52 charges.
1:09:53 So this story was shocking to most people, which should make you wonder why?
1:09:58 Why is this shocking?
1:10:01 They've literally been gunning for this guy since he came down the escalator at Trump
1:10:05 tower.
1:10:06 What was that?
1:10:07 2015, maybe in 2016?
1:10:08 This was inevitable.
1:10:10 They were always going to find something.
1:10:12 And here's the other thing.
1:10:13 This isn't the only thing.
1:10:14 He's going to be indicted on other charges before the midterm or not the midterms, but
1:10:18 before the run up to the general election is even done.
1:10:23 That's definitely going to happen.
1:10:25 But I will say about this story is I'm inclined to agree with the sentiment that this pretty
1:10:33 much guarantees that Donald Trump wins the Republican nomination.
1:10:38 I think it does, which almost assuredly guarantees that Democrats will retain the White House.
1:10:44 Donald Trump is easily beatable.
1:10:48 And I know, I know you wear your MAGA hat and you think 2016's going to happen again and
1:10:53 you think he's just going to ride his wave that he did in the first three years of his
1:10:56 presidency and all those different things.
1:10:59 But I don't know if you guys, you know, have calendars on the wall.
1:11:01 I know that's something from a bygone era, but I just checked the other day.
1:11:04 It's 2023.
1:11:05 It's not 2015, 2016, 2017, 2018, 2019 is 2023.
1:11:12 The world changed in 2020.
1:11:14 And guess what?
1:11:15 We've already seen Donald Trump lose to Joe Biden.
1:11:20 He's a terrible candidate, but so are the rest of them.
1:11:23 Kamala Harris, Gavin Newsom, random people that I can't even think of because they're
1:11:27 not important.
1:11:28 Whoever they run, they, they're going to beat Donald Trump.
1:11:33 Because again, regardless of what you think about January the six that happened and it
1:11:37 was terrible.
1:11:38 And most people think it was Donald Trump's fault.
1:11:39 And after all, the video came out telling a different story about what exactly all that
1:11:43 looks like.
1:11:44 And I was Tucker Carlson again, but he already lost by millions and millions and millions
1:11:49 of legitimate votes to a dead person that didn't even campaign.
1:11:53 He just sat in his basement and ate ice cream.
1:11:55 And you think that that's just not going to happen again?
1:11:59 Now a lot of people are saying that, Oh, this is just Alvin Bragg, the DA in New York City.
1:12:04 He's got an axe to grind.
1:12:05 He promised to do this, do this before he was elected.
1:12:07 So just following through on his promise.
1:12:10 Now that can be true.
1:12:11 But what I actually think is that the Democrats are doing this on purpose because Democrats
1:12:15 have stupid ideas, but they're not dumb.
1:12:17 They think Trump is super beatable because he is.
1:12:21 And we saw this back in the midterms.
1:12:23 There were Democrats that donated money to a lot of people during the Republican primaries
1:12:27 that they thought were more Trumpy and more Maga and more easily beatable.
1:12:30 And aside from JD Vance, they were right.
1:12:34 And as Trump will say, why I endorsed, you know, all these people, dozens, dozens, dozens
1:12:37 of people and they won.
1:12:38 It's just a few races.
1:12:39 I endorse that they lost.
1:12:41 But when you endorse someone that was already going to win a race, like that doesn't mean
1:12:44 anything.
1:12:45 Like Donald Trump endorsed my buddy, Mark Wayne Mullen, Mark Wayne Mullen won by like 30 points
1:12:49 in Oklahoma.
1:12:50 That wasn't because of Trump.
1:12:51 He was going to win by that much anyway.
1:12:53 He would have won by that much had Trump said, yeah, I don't really, I don't really like
1:12:56 the guy like he still would have gotten it.
1:12:58 Okay.
1:12:59 He still would have been the senator here in the state of Oklahoma.
1:13:01 He'd be like waiting until the final three seconds of a basketball game and one team is
1:13:05 up by 30 points and being like, yeah, yeah, I think that team's going to win.
1:13:08 It's like that didn't need to be said.
1:13:10 That's one of the dumbest things you could have possibly said.
1:13:11 We're watching it right now.
1:13:14 But all of a sudden we're supposed to just pretend like the Democrats aren't trying to
1:13:17 do this to get more people behind Trump because I guess Trump has raised already like $4 million
1:13:24 in the last few days after this indictment came out.
1:13:29 His gap between him and Ron DeSantis or anybody else in the Republican poll has continued
1:13:34 to widen.
1:13:37 Why would you think that the Democrats are doing this on purpose?
1:13:40 Because again, I've signaled on this podcast quite a bit.
1:13:43 I'm a big time DeSantis guy.
1:13:45 I love DeSantis.
1:13:46 I think he is the best person to be the next president of the United States, regardless
1:13:50 of party, but it might be best at this point to wait until 2028.
1:13:56 It might be.
1:13:57 I know it sounds ridiculous to say, especially for somebody that is going to support Ron
1:14:00 DeSantis.
1:14:01 And if he runs during the primary, I very likely would vote for him in the primary.
1:14:05 But who knows?
1:14:06 Maybe that's best because if Trump is the unstoppable force and all the other people
1:14:11 that got into the race or you know, you'll have Nikki Haley or Tim Scott or any of these
1:14:15 other random people, they're just going to be taking support away from you, not from Trump.
1:14:19 Trump is a known entity in the Republican party.
1:14:22 And if they want him to be the guy again, that's just what's going to happen.
1:14:25 Now that would kind of suck for DeSantis because he's going to be out of office in 2026.
1:14:30 Because you know, his term, his second term as governor of Florida will be done.
1:14:33 Can you keep momentum for two years to run in 2028 when it will be a new Republican versus
1:14:38 a new Democrat written where our list of how he slice it may be.
1:14:42 But my big takeaway on this first quick hitter is this might be a crossing of the Rubicon
1:14:47 for the United States.
1:14:50 I just don't think there's any coming back from this.
1:14:52 I think the gloves are officially off now.
1:14:56 We're starting to try to jail our political enemies.
1:14:59 Again, Donald Trump is the first president in the 250 year history of this country that
1:15:05 is being brought up on charges.
1:15:07 Now, here's the other thing that you can say.
1:15:10 He's being brought up on charges for hush money that was paid to a porn star that he cheated
1:15:16 with cheeto on his wife with his third wife or whatever, it's not exactly a good person
1:15:22 that that's making all, you know, he's he's the source of the story and he's he's a villain
1:15:26 in this story for sure, even though there are additional villains.
1:15:30 But this is astonishing what we're seeing as a country and Republicans are starting to
1:15:34 fight back a little bit, conservatives are starting to fight back a little bit as well.
1:15:39 They're understanding that, oh, the other side hasn't been playing fair.
1:15:43 And we've been morons for decades thinking that if we're just going to be nice, that
1:15:46 they'll be nice back and they're not being nice back.
1:15:49 So how long until Joe Biden has indicted after he leaves office?
1:15:53 I mean, that's where we're at now.
1:15:55 There's no going back.
1:15:57 Our next quick hitter here disgraced former Hillsong pastor Carl Linds getting a new job
1:16:01 in ministry in my home state.
1:16:03 So this is according to the Christian Post more than two years after a sex and leadership
1:16:07 scandal led to his firing from Hillsong church in YC Carl Linds is now back in ministry as
1:16:12 a strategist at the transformation church led by pastor Michael Todd in Tulsa, Oklahoma.
1:16:17 In a statement to two news, Oklahoma, transformation church's executive pastor Tammy McCorders
1:16:23 is that interesting said she they believed that Linds has been restored and are pleased
1:16:28 to have him help others experience restoration as well.
1:16:31 After two years of Carl being in his own discovery and healing process, he has shown
1:16:35 readiness to use his God given gifts towards the local church again.
1:16:39 We believe in Carl, his marriage, his skillset and his restoration, restoration, McCorders
1:16:43 said.
1:16:44 So here's an interesting thing aside from mentioning his God given gifts, there wasn't
1:16:48 a whole lot of discussion about God in his recovery process, right?
1:16:55 You know, he's having his own discovery and healing process right now, but now it's time
1:16:59 to unleash his God given gifts, but has God restored him back to ministry?
1:17:07 Because perhaps his marriage and family have been restored and I certainly hope so anyway.
1:17:12 But Carl Linds, he's still going to be a problem no matter what he does because of what he
1:17:17 believes about God in the Bible, not necessarily what he's done.
1:17:21 Again, he will always be tinged as the guy that, you know, was part of the downfall of
1:17:26 Hillsong and horrific leadership defaults in his sexual deviancy.
1:17:32 But as concerning as all that, that is his teachings at Hillsong in NYC were really, really
1:17:39 disturbing, mostly vapid and a lot of people that think they're going to heaven are going
1:17:43 to hell because of the things that they believe that Carl Linds said.
1:17:47 And he's joining a leadership team headed up by pastor Michael Todd, who's basically
1:17:51 Stephen Furdick with dreads and no, that's not a compliment.
1:17:54 It's just her reticle self help nonsense.
1:17:59 It's whatever is convenient to me at the moment, including stuff that touch the trans ideology
1:18:04 that even came here recently for Michael Todd.
1:18:07 But Carl Linds will 100% for sure launch his own church within the next five years.
1:18:14 I think the writing's on the wall for that.
1:18:15 Maybe it'll be even sooner, but this is very typical, right?
1:18:19 We see this happen quite a bit.
1:18:21 You'll see a politician that's disgrace for some reason.
1:18:23 Maybe they go to prison or something like that.
1:18:25 They go quiet for a while, a couple of years, and then they get a job in some random office.
1:18:31 Some random political office, maybe out of think tank or something like that, and then
1:18:35 they may run for a small office and then they'll try to make themselves all the way back to
1:18:39 where they were.
1:18:41 We see this in politics and I guess we're going to see this in ministry.
1:18:43 He's going to have his own church.
1:18:45 But my big takeaway here is you can hold these two things in tension.
1:18:50 You can want Carl Linds' spiritual family and personal life to be restored, but you could
1:18:57 also want him to never serve in Christian vocational ministry ever again.
1:19:06 You can and should hold those two things in tension because I am so thrilled that Carl
1:19:14 Linds and his wife have their relationship still intact that they didn't get divorced
1:19:21 even though they could have on biblical grounds.
1:19:22 She could have divorced on biblical grounds.
1:19:25 I'm glad that his kids are still part of the family and seemingly there's good things happening
1:19:31 there and there's fruit inside that family, but I don't want him anywhere near a pulpit.
1:19:36 It has nothing to do with the fact that he cheated on his wife multiple times with multiple
1:19:40 women.
1:19:41 It's because he believes things that send people to help.
1:19:45 He's not preaching a real gospel to people.
1:19:47 He's preaching a partial gospel, a moral therapeutic deism version of the gospel.
1:19:54 As I mentioned before with Andy Stanley, who I think is a heretic and shouldn't have his
1:19:57 church anymore, I'm not wishing for his death.
1:20:01 I'm not wishing for him to have some sort of moral failing.
1:20:03 I'm wishing for him to lose his job in whatever way that that takes place because I think
1:20:08 it's better for the capital K kingdom of God in order for that to happen.
1:20:13 And the same thing I would say for Carl Lentz, my hope is that he works at this church.
1:20:19 He realizes, yeah, maybe I don't want to get back into vocational ministry.
1:20:22 And then he just he's like the next Rob Bell.
1:20:24 He just says stupid things and writes stupid books and Oprah loves him.
1:20:28 And then he just kind of fades off into oblivion.
1:20:30 But if he's trying to pretend to be a Christian pastor, I think that's terrible for Christianity
1:20:36 in America.
1:20:37 All right, next quick hitter here, the Wall Street Journal survey showing a very disturbing
1:20:40 trend in America.
1:20:42 So this is according to the New York Post, and I will also link to the actual Wall Street
1:20:46 Journal article where they show all these results as well.
1:20:49 Long held values like patriotism, religion and community involvement are in retreat across
1:20:53 America, according to a stunning poll released Monday, the Wall Street Journal in ORC survey
1:20:59 found that just 38% of Americans said patriotism is very important to them down from 70% who
1:21:06 said the same in 1998, slightly more Americans 39% place the same importance on religion down
1:21:13 from 62% who said faith was very important to them 25 years ago, the percentage of Americans
1:21:18 who said raising children was very important to them fell 30% in the new poll down from
1:21:22 59% in 1998.
1:21:24 Meanwhile, the share of Americans who valued involvement in their community as very important
1:21:29 fell 27% down from a high of 62% in 2019.
1:21:34 The last time the question was poll, one virtue long associated with liberals, a belief in
1:21:39 tolerance for others is now deemed very important by 58% of Americans down from 80% four years
1:21:45 ago.
1:21:46 By contrast, the only value that has grown and worth to Americans is money with 43% calling
1:21:51 it very important compared to 31% who said the same in 1998.
1:21:56 So right to my big takeaway on this one, none of these results should be surprising to anyone
1:22:01 that's been paying attention.
1:22:05 Patriotism, religion, raising children, community involvement, tolerance, all falling off a
1:22:10 cliff.
1:22:11 Yeah, you're seen as bigoted if you're patriotic or religious, you're a weirdo if you want
1:22:16 to raise kids and have a big family, being involved in the community will only if it's
1:22:20 the right types of people in the community.
1:22:22 And yeah, we'll tolerate you, but only if you believe the things that we believe.
1:22:26 Well, yeah, that's America right now.
1:22:28 And the focus on money going way up, well, of course, things are more expensive than
1:22:32 they've ever been.
1:22:34 There's more wealth than we've ever seen.
1:22:36 The United States government is spending more money than God's ever seen.
1:22:39 And that's just kind of the world that we live in the, the story should not have been
1:22:44 the results of the survey.
1:22:46 The story should have been where the results of the survey will continue to go if they
1:22:50 continue to conduct it.
1:22:51 Think about 25 years from now, what is that 2058?
1:22:55 Can you imagine what the answers are going to look like then?
1:22:58 I mean, you won't be here, but a lot of us will be.
1:23:01 Do we all of a sudden see the trends in patriotism, religion, raising children, community involvement,
1:23:06 tolerance and money going in different directions?
1:23:08 I mean, again, the world that we see right now is not even recognizable to somebody from
1:23:13 1998.
1:23:14 It's not recognizable from somebody from 2015.
1:23:18 And yet here we are.
1:23:19 So I'm very, very concerned about the future, but hopefully something stems the, the onslaught
1:23:24 that we're seeing with all that.
1:23:25 All right, next quick hitter here, a Penn State wrestler getting into hot water for calling
1:23:29 Muhammad a false prophet.
1:23:31 So the Penn State wrestler in question was a guy named Aaron Brooks.
1:23:35 He's a 184 pounder from Penn State and Penn State is the most dominant wrestling program
1:23:40 of the 2000s.
1:23:41 It's not even close.
1:23:42 I think they've won 10 out of the last 12 national team titles, but Aaron Brooks won
1:23:46 his third straight, 180 84 pound national title a couple of weeks ago back in Tulsa in
1:23:52 Mark Wayne, Mullen and Donald Trump were there in attendance and that in and of itself would
1:23:57 have been impressive enough because frankly, not too many people have done that.
1:24:01 But it's what he said in his interview right after the match that actually made the headlines.
1:24:06 So let's go to that clip here.
1:24:08 David, I know share a strong faith.
1:24:11 How does that help you on a night like tonight?
1:24:14 It's everything.
1:24:15 Christ's resurrection's everything, not just his life, but his death and resurrection.
1:24:20 You can only get that through him, Holy Spirit only through him.
1:24:23 No false prophets, no Muhammad, no anyone else, only Jesus Christ himself.
1:24:28 Power and finesse.
1:24:31 You're calling card, Holy Spirit, what, which acts after one verse eight, power, Holy Spirit
1:24:38 power.
1:24:39 It's everything.
1:24:40 That's where it's from.
1:24:42 Where'd the finesse come from?
1:24:43 Holy Spirit as well.
1:24:45 Mom and dad, maybe a little bit of both, but oh, God, I put in perspective one in three
1:24:50 of these in a row and dominating fashion, by the way, I'm blessed God use me.
1:24:55 He gives me this platform for this right here.
1:24:57 So that's all it's for when I'm suffering, kind of wait home from not away from my family.
1:25:03 It's all for him.
1:25:04 So it's all for his glory.
1:25:06 Enjoy it.
1:25:07 Put in the time and the sacrifices.
1:25:08 Congratulations, Darren.
1:25:09 And so if you're a reasonable human that has a functioning brain, you might be like, Oh,
1:25:14 yeah, that's a Christian guy who's obviously he's still out of breath from winning another
1:25:19 national title after a really, really tough season and a really tough tournament where
1:25:22 he took down like the number one, two, four ranked guys, like, I mean, he did work in
1:25:28 this tournament, man.
1:25:29 Third national title.
1:25:30 He's out of breath.
1:25:31 He's a Christian.
1:25:32 You quote some scripture there, but the backlash from people in the, I guess this is my big
1:25:37 takeaway here.
1:25:39 How dare a Christian actually say Christian sounding things?
1:25:43 That was like the majority of the people.
1:25:44 I remember even like Ariel, Hawaii, he's the, the guy who covers a lot of MMA and stuff
1:25:48 like that.
1:25:49 You get into all these other little persnickety areas.
1:25:51 He's like, I can't believe they allowed him to say such a thing that Muhammad was a false
1:25:56 prophet.
1:25:57 They let him say that.
1:25:58 They actually showed that on air.
1:26:00 How dare they?
1:26:01 And the reason is because the world is universalist and it's bent really like people want to just
1:26:10 hear that their worldview is equally pleasing to God is every other worldview in a belief
1:26:15 system and that, you know, basically all dogs go to heaven.
1:26:18 But people just can't stand to hear an honest Christian say honestly Christian things because
1:26:25 as a Christian has a bold Christian that hopes that if I ever have a microphone in front
1:26:30 of my face, not certainly at the NCAA's, but that I would say something very similar
1:26:34 to that because, you know, yeah, it's one thing to talk about, you know, double eggs
1:26:38 and single legs and sprawls and all that kind of stuff that would go into a tournament.
1:26:42 But he talked about a savior, he talked about how you could have it too, but everyone's
1:26:46 focusing in on the fact that he said, no false prophets, no Muhammad, those types of things.
1:26:50 But guess what guys?
1:26:52 If you're a proponent of Christianity, that's exactly what you think of Muhammad, that he
1:26:57 is indeed a false prophet.
1:26:59 Like, what if it had been a Muslim wrestler and he got on the mic and said, Allahu Akbar,
1:27:03 which means God is good.
1:27:04 And if he said, you know, all praise be to Allah and to his prophet Muhammad and if he
1:27:09 said the Shahada and all these other different things, like would you have been like, how
1:27:14 dare he say that, how dare he say that Muhammad is the prophet of Allah?
1:27:19 Well, that's what Muslims believe.
1:27:21 They can be wrong and they are, but that's what they believe.
1:27:25 There was no shock and all the shock and all came because it was a Christian.
1:27:27 It was a Christian that said a very Christian, but seemingly sounding bold thing in modernity,
1:27:34 but good on him, three time champ and a bold follower of Christ.
1:27:38 I love it.
1:27:39 All right.
1:27:40 Last quick hitter here, guys, Florida governor Ron DeSantis winning again with parents.
1:27:42 This is according to the blaze, Florida governor Ron DeSantis has signed a bill into law effectively
1:27:47 enabling all K through 12 students in the state, including those who are homeschooled to take
1:27:51 advantage of school vouchers.
1:27:53 HB one was passed in the state house on March the 17th and in the Senate on March the 23rd.
1:27:58 DeSantis signed it into law Monday at an all boys Catholic high school in Miami.
1:28:02 The law will eliminate the previous financial eligibility restrictions such that students
1:28:06 of all economic backgrounds can participate in the state's voucher system so long as they
1:28:10 are residents.
1:28:11 The law also scraps the enrollment cap on parents who can participate in the family empowerment
1:28:16 scholarship for educational options.
1:28:18 Whereas a family of five making over $129,880 was previously ineligible for the scholarship,
1:28:24 which is funded through the Florida educational finance program.
1:28:28 Now they and others of varying means will be able to apply for assistance.
1:28:32 Lower income families will, however, continue to receive priority.
1:28:35 In addition to making sure parents have a choice in the schools they support and send
1:28:39 their children to, the legislation requires the development of a government website informing
1:28:43 parents of every educational option available to their family.
1:28:47 Here's the thing.
1:28:48 Ron DeSantis just can't help but win.
1:28:51 I know what I said earlier in this podcast.
1:28:53 He might need to just hang on to his hat until 2028 or something like that, but he just can't
1:28:59 help but win.
1:29:00 He just keeps making the right decisions, pulling the right cords, and it's just going
1:29:05 well for him.
1:29:06 And my big takeaway is more of this, please.
1:29:09 Not just from Ron DeSantis, but from governors and state houses all across the United States
1:29:14 of America, Oklahoma, you're on the clock because a universal school choice bill has
1:29:19 passed the Oklahoma House.
1:29:21 And I really have no idea where it is with the Senate.
1:29:23 I got to tell you, it is frustrating as all get out to even figure out what's going on
1:29:27 in your own home, own home state.
1:29:28 I know what's going on on the federal level, but just trying to figure out where a bill
1:29:31 is, you know, here in my own state is already crazy, but the governor of my state, Governor
1:29:36 Stitt has already said that if a universal school choice bill comes across his desk,
1:29:40 he will sign it.
1:29:41 So essentially you would be able to use your tax dollars that was going to the public schools
1:29:45 and you could use it to go to a private school, a charter school, or to even a homeschool
1:29:49 your kids.
1:29:50 And there would be varying levels of that more of this, absolutely more of this.
1:29:54 The public school system has violated the trust of the people in America, 2020 exposed
1:29:59 them for the frauds that many of them are, especially the teachers unions.
1:30:03 And so, and at this point, most of the teachers, even the well-meaning Christian teachers in
1:30:07 those schools, they cannot stop the secular onslaught of the things that are happening
1:30:11 in those schools.
1:30:12 Parents should not be forced to go to them, right?
1:30:16 And the government is not forcing you in terms of like, guys with Jack Boots, you know, with
1:30:20 a bayonet and you're back forcing your kids into these schools, but a lot of parents don't
1:30:24 think they have options.
1:30:25 So I'm glad that the state of Florida and around the Santa's, they're putting something
1:30:27 out there where parents can evaluate all the options that they have.
1:30:31 And if they do choose an alternate, a form of education, private schools, charter schools,
1:30:37 you know, anything that would happen with homeschool or something like that, then they
1:30:40 can use that money for that, because I pay a lot in taxes in the community that I live
1:30:45 in to support a school system that my boys will never be a part of.
1:30:49 I should be able to use that money for my family.
1:30:51 All right, guys.
1:30:53 We made it.
