1:16
This is Undaunted Life, a man's podcast.
1:20
I'm your host Kyle Thompson.
1:21
Let's get into it.
1:22
Our guys today have got a special return guest to the show.
1:24
His name is Mark Wayne Mullen.
1:26
So he is running to represent the state of Oklahoma as one of its two United States senators.
1:30
He defeated his runoff opponent, T.W. Shannon, back in August by about 30 points.
1:34
He got about 65% of the vote.
1:36
And we had the opportunity to have both T.W. and Mark Wayne on the show before that runoff
1:40
to kind of give you guys a sense of what these guys are like
1:43
and what they're going to be like if they get into the office and those types of things.
1:45
So if you want to listen to the episode that I did with Mark Wayne,
1:48
he was on episode 340 of this podcast, so episode 340.
1:51
He is currently a member of the United States House of Representatives,
1:54
representing Oklahoma's 2nd Congressional District, but he's also a businessman.
1:58
So he doesn't just do the political stuff.
1:59
He runs a business.
2:00
He runs Mullen Ranch, which is a working cow-calf operation out in eastern Oklahoma,
2:05
which probably makes this a really good time.
2:06
I'll do a little early on this one to remind you guys about who one of our favorite sponsors are.
2:11
So if you're not getting your cows and calves and you're not getting your beef from Mullen Ranch,
2:15
you need to get it from KC cattle company.
2:17
So guys, we love this organization.
2:19
They are a meat delivery subscription service, but the unique thing about them
2:23
is they're the only one in the United States that is United States military veteran owned,
2:27
United States military veteran operated in all, I mean, all of their beef chicken and pork products
2:32
are produced here in the United States.
2:34
That's KC cattle company guys.
2:35
They specialize in wagyu beef.
2:37
You heard me talk about it on this show before, but it is a special type of beef
2:40
that they do a different type of breeding process, which leads to a lot more mutations
2:44
that allow for a whole lot of intramuscular fat.
2:46
That's the marbling.
2:47
That's the good stuff that you're going to get from KC cattle company guys.
2:50
I've made so much of their stuff here recently, but I did just do some, some beef steaks.
2:55
I did some different types of steaks that they sent to me.
2:57
Oh, man, I'm just telling you that the wagyu is absolutely ridiculous, but guys, they sell
3:02
everything.
3:03
They sell the wagyu steaks, wagyu roasts, passer-aged chicken, passer-aged Berkshire pork, wagyu,
3:08
bacon, cheeseburger, bratwurst, and they're world famous gourmet wagyu hot dogs guys.
3:13
These hot dogs don't make sense.
3:14
They literally taste like steaks.
3:16
They're called to steaks for a reason, but guys, you've got to try their products.
3:19
You'll go to kcattlecompany.com.
3:21
That's kcattlecompany.com.
3:23
Use the promo code kyle to get 15% off of your order.
3:26
Again, that promo code is just my first name, Kyle.
3:28
That's k-y-l-e for 15% off your order at kcattlecompany.com.
3:32
All that will be in the show notes, but in terms of this interview that we did today,
3:36
we talked about a lot of interesting things with Mark Wayne because we're going to have
3:39
them on this month and we're also going to have them on next month so you can get a sense
3:42
of what things are going to look like because, dude, in the next two days, things could change
3:45
much less in the next two, three, four weeks.
3:47
But we talk a little bit about the runoff election, what that was like and how he's
3:51
able to get that all squared away and how they far exceeded even their best expectations
3:55
going into that race, again, winning by more than 30 points.
3:58
But now how the things are going to change with their team because now they're going
4:01
up against a former Democratic House of Representatives member named Kendra Horn and they're doing
4:05
some pretty interesting things trying to, you know, make this a close race because right
4:09
now we're seeing polls that are 10 plus points on Mark Wayne's side, but there's, there's
4:13
some mudsling and going on in this race.
4:15
So we talked about that in this podcast, but then we look at Biden's speech that he delivered
4:18
back in Philadelphia of some weeks back where he's talking about these MAGA Republicans
4:22
and how these are horrible people and they're trying to take over the country and what his
4:25
view was like of that because he was serving in the US House whenever he hears the president
4:29
of the United States that, you know, the chief executive basically talking about these things
4:33
and it was just kind of a weird deal.
4:35
But then we got into discussing Italy's new prime minister, Georgia Maloney, because this
4:39
gal, most of us didn't even know she existed a week ago and now she's gone viral and this
4:43
is a person that's, you know, all about the family and all about the country and all
4:46
these different things and how that kind of has some ties to what's happening here in
4:50
the United States where we seem people kind of trending more towards the right.
4:53
So we break that down.
4:54
But then at the end of our interview, again, it was just a short one today, but it's very
4:57
interesting because we got to spend some time talking about the Republicans' chances of
5:00
taking over the House and the Senate.
5:02
So pretty much it's a foregone conclusion at this point that the GOP is going to take
5:05
over the House, but the Senate seems like a coin flip or worse at this point.
5:09
But he gave a really interesting explanation, looking at the data of these different races
5:14
around the country.
5:15
And he's very confident that the House is not only going to go the GOP's way, but also
5:19
the Senate.
5:20
And so I'll leave that explanation for him to break it down, but we're not going to keep
5:22
him from you any longer.
5:23
So without further ado, let's get into it.
5:26
Mark Wayne Mullen.
5:27
Welcome back to Indaunted Life of Man's podcast.
5:30
Thanks brother.
5:31
Thanks for having me on.
5:32
Sorry about the background.
5:33
I look like I'm kind of in a prison cell, but I'm really not.
5:36
Well, you kind of are in a prison cell, it's called the United States House representatives,
5:39
but you know what?
5:40
You're trying to go to a much better, nicer, and more comfortable prison cell called the
5:44
U.S. Senate.
5:45
And so you actually pulled that off because you did win your runoff election.
5:48
So we had you and your runoff mate, T.W. Shannon on the show back in August.
5:52
But you exceeded even the most conservative polling that I saw that was in your direction.
5:59
You got around 65% of the vote.
6:01
You won by over 30 points.
6:02
It was it was a shellacking anyway that you slice it.
6:05
I guess to reacquain our audience with you and so that we can get into the real stuff.
6:09
Tell us about what that process was like.
6:10
You know, what was it like on Election Day, whenever everything started rolling in, when
6:14
they called your name, whenever you found out that you were going to be the Republican
6:17
nominee here in the general election.
6:19
And then you can give us a little bit of your stump speech and tell us why you're even running
6:22
for the U.S. Senate to begin with.
6:24
Right.
6:25
Well, listen, the real reason why we won the election is because the wrestling community
6:29
came out and supported me.
6:31
That's right.
6:32
But, you know, when you go into any match, you got to walk out there and believe you're
6:36
going to win.
6:37
I don't care if you're an unranked wrestler that's stepping on the mat with the number
6:43
one kid in the nation.
6:44
You got to believe you can win.
6:45
I mean, as I tell my kids, every time that your match isn't your opponent, your match
6:51
is in your heart, it starts right here.
6:53
You got to go out there.
6:54
You got to give your best.
6:55
And when you walk out that mat, you got to know you gave your best.
6:59
And for us, we give our best every day, we get up, we expect to win, and we're going
7:03
to make sure we do everything to make that happen.
7:06
And so we wasn't surprised when we won.
7:09
We was surprised at the margin, though.
7:12
We went into August 28th, being very confident on where we're at.
7:17
We assembled a great team, kind of like training camp, and I used to fight professionally.
7:21
We assembled a great group of individuals work in training camp with us, and we surrounded
7:28
ourselves with people better than us.
7:30
And so we had a good team out there working, and we pulled it off and it showed.
7:39
For us, moving forward, we still feel very confident.
7:42
We switched the team up just a small bit, because it's a new focus.
7:45
You got a new opponent, so you got to make adjustments, and then we're going to go into
7:51
November 9th, fully expecting to win.
7:54
Of course, I don't know what our margins are going to be.
7:57
We know I coached kids, I was coaching kids, actually this weekend at Atlanta at the Elite
8:06
Eight duels, and I wasn't meant to coach them like I want to, because I had their own coaches,
8:10
but I was still there and talking with the kids and encouraging the kids, because a lot
8:16
of them had wrestled for me in the past.
8:20
We went into every match there.
8:23
We expected to win, but we still got to change, and so it's the same thing here.
8:26
We got to go in expecting to win just by not maybe the same margins, but we were always
8:31
looking to score.
8:32
We walked to pressure, you don't walk away pressure, you walk towards pressure every
8:36
single time, and if you win by one, that's great, but you're always looking for an opportunity
8:42
to score to win by three, win by five, or win by ten, but you never let your opponent get
8:46
back in the match, and that's what we're going to do here.
8:49
Tires matter.
8:50
They're the only part of your vehicle that touches the road, tread confidently with new
8:54
tires from Tire Rack.
8:56
Whether you're looking for expert recommendations or know exactly what you want, Tire Rack makes
9:01

9:13
sure to check out all the special offers, Tire Rack.com, the way tire buying should
9:18
be.
9:19
Well, I mean, I think in the last podcast we mentioned Randy Couture using pressure as
9:22
a weapon, and no media matters who's listening to this, probably I don't mean an actual physical
9:27
weapon.
9:28
I mean, you know, just generally, but I mean, you do have a different opponent, so you're
9:32
going up against a former Democratic House of Representatives member named Kendra Horn,
9:36
and so the general elections on November 8th, so hopefully on November the 9th, you wake
9:39
up with a victory, but she was elected to the House in 2018, but then she immediately
9:44
lost her next reelection bid in 2020 to Stephanie Bice.
9:47
Now I'm seeing polls right now in terms of, you know, the match up between you and her.
9:52
What I'm seeing is 10 plus up that you are right now.
9:55
I obviously know you a little bit.
9:56
I know a little bit about your approach, so you're not just going to coast.
10:00
You're not going to be like, well, this kid's unranked, you know, you're treating it like
10:03
a wrestling thing.
10:04
You're not just going to go out there and assume the pin's going to come.
10:06
You're going to go out there and try to dominate and just let the chips fall where they may.
10:09
But talk to me a little bit about that race because in a lot of ways, a lot of political
10:12
pundits, myself included, if I could call myself a pundit, you know, it was it's either
10:16
you or TW and then whoever wins that is going to have, you know, an easier ride going into
10:21
November.
10:22
So how do you feel about it?
10:23
How did your team feel about it?
10:24
How are you approaching the general?
10:26
We're approaching like we're behind.
10:28
I don't I don't ever like to look at the numbers and think we're I think we're ahead and we
10:32
start coasting.
10:34
So we're approaching the same way we take her very serious at this level, just the same
10:39
thing in any competition at any level of wrestling when you go out there or you're fighting
10:43
or you're playing against the professional ball team, it doesn't make any difference
10:46
what it's analogy you want to use.
10:48
If you may be the best person walking on that mat, but if you're not focused, the other
10:53
person is also really good or they wouldn't be there with you and they can capitalize
10:56
on any mistake you make.
10:58
And so that's the way we're approaching this with a with our Democrat opponent and we
11:04
just don't ever want her in it.
11:06
We don't want her in the fight with us that we want her to know that she's always that
11:11
she's always trying to play catch up and the margin is so far away that she can't and not
11:17
to use it over analogy here, but this is basically the same thing.
11:23
I used to tell people all the time, if you let me stay around in the first period and
11:26
you didn't beat me, the second period, we're going to be the same by the third period.
11:30
I'm going to run you into the ground and we're at the end of this race and there's no way
11:35
I'm letting off here.
11:37
So our approach to this is one state of course, don't get into the phrase.
11:42
She's trying to paint us as this extremist, as this individual that is going to steal
11:48
the rights and use fear as a motivation.
11:53
She's trying to paint us as a person that is almost anti-American and I'm just not going
12:00
to go down that.
12:01
We're going to let people make those decisions themselves, but to try to paint me as an extremist
12:06
or an anti-American is just absurd.
12:09
Yeah, I'm fighting for American values, I'm a patriot, but sure of the heck you can't
12:15
say anti-American.
12:16
And we're probably going to also ignore her too because she wants to create an opportunity
12:22
for what we would consider unearned media and it puts her at the same level as us.
12:32
So we're just not going to respond to a lot of the stuff she has.
12:35
We're not going to get into the tit for tap with her.
12:38
There's a clear difference between us and the Republican primaries, everybody's basically
12:44
saying the same thing but you're saying it in a different way, right?
12:48
That's not what we're going to do here.
12:49
There's a clear difference between us when you start talking about pro-life or pro-choice.
12:54
When you start talking about energy independence or taking us completely away and making us
13:02
dependent on renewable energy and on minerals that come from China, we start talking about
13:10
a strong economy with the government pulling back all their agencies and their regulatory
13:17
environment that just kills the economy to an overbearing Democrat party.
13:22
We start talking about border security.
13:24
There's a huge difference between us and the border in the border.
13:27
When we start talking about border security, I mean border security, not Kamala Harris
13:31
who says the border is secure, but actual border security.
13:35
We start talking about drug trafficking.
13:37
It starts at the border.
13:38
When you start talking about labor shortages, honestly, it does start at the border because
13:43
if you can fix the immigration system, we can also help get the individuals that want
13:47
to come here and work in the United States here legally.
13:50
So you can help with the labor shortage.
13:53
There's a huge difference in the way we approach that stuff.
13:55
You start talking about a strong national defense.
13:59
You do that by not trying to indoctrinate the kids with critical race theory and how
14:07
to avoid pronouns.
14:09
You teach them how to be strong soldiers, individuals that's going to fight regardless
14:14
of a man or a woman because there is a clear difference between the two.
14:20
What is your best ability?
14:22
How can you best serve this country that you're willing to defend to your death and give you
14:26
all the tools to succeed rather than try to re-educate you?
14:32
There's a huge difference in the way we approach things.
14:34
That's obvious.
14:35
So we're going to stay the course on what we believe is right for this country and she
14:40
can do her thing.
14:41
The new LinkedIn hiring pro can't undo your last hire, the lone wolf.

14:49
But once you hired them, it was all hoarding info, declining meetings and howling at the
14:53

14:56
But LinkedIn hiring pro can go deeper than just the resume to find you a perfect fit.
15:00
By using insights from the LinkedIn network to give you a short list of best fit candidates.
15:05
Hire right the first time with LinkedIn hiring pro.
15:08
Post a free job today at linkedin.com/quality.
15:11
Yeah I mean there's definitely not a whole lot of crossover between the left and the right
15:15
right now and you know blue or red.
15:17
And just to kind of maybe put a bow on all the wrestling analogies we're using.
15:20
So bow nickel, the great former Penn State wrestler multiple time national champion and
15:25
all that.
15:26
He just had his second MMA fight on Dana White's contender series which was his third overall.
15:30
What's that?
15:31
He ended his fight in 52 seconds.
15:33
Come on.
15:34
And he did he did that in his last fight on Dana White's contender series and I bring him
15:38
up as an example.
15:39
This is a guy that is obviously a world class wrestler.
15:43
But he basically the beginning of the end of the fight was an overhand left because the
15:46
guy was so worried the guy was fighting was so worried about that single leg.
15:50
And he kept fainting, kept fainting, kept fainting and then it was the overhand left
15:53
that got him.
15:54
It kind of reminded me of you know Habib Nergamagan Medov and Conor McGregor back in the day like
15:58
that's kind of how that fight when Connor was so worried about the take down the overhand
16:02
the overhand punch game.
16:03
And so it's kind of one of those things as well like you have to be ready for wherever
16:07
the fight goes.
16:08
And again I'm using that term and you know as a metaphor everybody relaxed but you know
16:12
when you're going into a political fight like what we're going to be seeing between
16:16
you and Kendra Horn you have to be ready for whatever is going to come your way.
16:19
But at the end of the day you have to enforce your game plan.
16:22
And so a guy like Bo Nickel he's going to beat you however he feels he needs to beat you
16:26
but he's not going to come in just assuming oh I don't need to train for this one this
16:29
guy's not on my level.
16:30
He's like no I'm going to double train so that they know for the rest of their life
16:33
they're nowhere near my level.
16:34
So there's the wrestling analogy we can put a bow on that but I want to go back to something
16:38
that you said Mark.
16:39
You got to you got to hold a second because both of course I'll watch Bo and every one
16:45
of his national final matches and then he at your Penn State unfortunately I'm Oklahoma
16:52
State guy.
16:53
But your Penn State won the national tournament we had him up at the White House when Trump
16:59
was there and him and Bo and I were having a long conversation he was kind of asking
17:03
how I got into fighting and stuff and he says I want to fight I want to fight and I said
17:08
Bo can I just give you and I feel stupid about saying this I say can I give you a little
17:12
bit of advice I said get your career started and start training fighting at the same time
17:17
so you always have something to fall back on to because most fighters don't make a lot
17:21
of money and they're very few to succeed if anybody's going to succeed you can succeed
17:25
but get a career moving first before you go right to find it and you look at me he says
17:29
I'm fighting.
17:30
I said okay then to make sure you go to good camp and now I'm looking and I'm going yep
17:34
he's fighting.
17:35
Yeah he is fighting and I mean the dude's got some some brass rolling around in his underpants
17:41
because he immediately called up Hansat Chamayev right after he won his fight and it's like
17:46
nobody wants to fight that guy nobody like and then that's the first guy he's calling
17:50
out and he says right to the top so we'll see we'll see how it goes with a guy like that
17:53
it'll be interesting to see but one thing that you mentioned Mark Wayne is you were talking
17:57
about how Kendra Horn and her team is trying to brand you as these these extremists right
18:02
winning extremists and all that but all that really goes back to the White House Joe Biden's
18:07
White House technically and it really goes back to his speech in Philadelphia some weeks
18:11
back where he got up there with his you know Marines you know silhouettes behind them in
18:15
the red the red lights on on the building and all those different things and then he branded
18:20
MAGA Republicans.
18:22
Now the interesting thing about that is as you go through a speech and I think I pulled
18:26
out 21 different identifiers that he did in that speech of what a MAGA Republican is
18:31
and so you're thinking you know people with American flags running into the Capitol trying
18:36
to you know hang Mike Pence and Nancy Pelosi and all those types of things that's the image
18:39
they try to give you but when you look at the speech it's anyone that doesn't agree
18:43
with you on immigration policy anyone that doesn't believe that you should be able to
18:46
slaughter unborn babies in the womb anyone that doesn't you know agree with your tax policy
18:50
or or something like that or doesn't believe in all your green initiatives that they'll
18:53
do anything but it really goes back to that so talk to me a little bit about what your
18:57
reaction was to that speech because I was absolutely flabbergasted because I of course
19:02
I disagree with the guy but I never left an Obama speech feeling like he was specifically
19:07
calling me this horrible evil bigoted you know demon essentially but that's exactly
19:12
how I would feel coming away from a speech like that so what did it look like from your
19:15
point of view?
19:16
I tell you how I felt I felt like my wife gave me a compliment and then backhanded me because
19:22
at one time he's saying the country needs to be united and as a country we're stronger
19:25
if we stand together all this stuff and then he backhands everybody and says you're not
19:30
a patriot you're not an American you're the biggest threat to our country because you don't
19:34
agree with us because you're a MAGA Republican labeling in that such a fashion it immediately
19:45
pushed everybody off and when you see what the Democrats are doing the Democrats are
19:50
using a true production company now that's something the White House hasn't ever done
19:55
now they do set stages obviously they got what we call a communication team I have a
20:00
communication team that set stages that set things up that want things to look as professional
20:04
as possible but to go through a whole production where you're putting on a show where you're
20:09
doing rehearsals truly they did a rehearsal for that where they're setting the stage and
20:14
they're setting the mood and they're talking about the moonlighting and what would look
20:18
good and then use two Marines as props right and I do mean that they're using young Marines
20:26
they didn't ask to be there it wasn't volunteered they were ordered by the commander in chief
20:33
to stand there and be part of a prop so you use two Marines that are defending our nation
20:41
that you're using as a messaging piece and they use a moonlight behind it and it talks
20:46
about that everybody that doesn't agree with me is bad and the last time we saw that we
20:51
moved towards a dictator but yet they're wanting to claim that President Trump was actually
20:55
the dictator that President Trump was the threat to the country and yet you see this
21:00
being caught being this speech taken place right after they ordered the raid on on Mar
21:08
Largo and he's trying to calm people's nerves by showing us as a unified fight he's rolled
21:14
out the director ray of the FBI and then they roll out they roll out Garland trying to say
21:20
trust us you can trust us you can trust us and then they're doing the January 6th committee
21:24
and they're have postponing hearings on January 6th because they're wanting to push it as
21:29
close as they can possibly because the election right all about a show for them and not about
21:34
the country I can okay I can be okay with you disagree with me I have zero issue with
21:39
that but disagree with me because you believe it in your heart and you're willing to die
21:45
on that stake for it but don't do it because it's all about a show and it's a game for
21:52
you because you're wanting to stay in power don't do it because it's a political motivation
21:57
for you do it because it's what's best for this country it's what's best for that flag
22:01
that's over my shoulder here it's because you believe in this country in the future that
22:05
holds and we can disagree on that if your heart's on the right spot in this administration their
22:11
heart isn't in the right spot and it showed by his absolute miscalculation and missing
22:17
the mark on this when he addressed the nation so I would tend to agree with you that it was
22:23
a miscalculation or missing the mark but maybe the more pessimistic side of me mark Wayne
22:28
is I feel like they did that on purpose the red the marines the banging on the podium I
22:35
feel like all that was on purpose because they need to find the seem like he's alive and it's
22:41
just like you know normally like just recently I saw he was speaking somewhere where he was
22:45
looking around like where's this person it was someone in Congress that died a month ago
22:49
and he's looking around the room asking where this person is it's like he's clearly not
22:52
with us but whenever you can kind of put him out as this kind of dark star lord or something
22:57
like that it gives people confidence that at least he's you might be a little bit evil
23:01
but at least he's alive like that's what it what it kind of feels like no they were trying
23:04
to force him to be passion you can't force somebody to be somebody they're not and it
23:09
comes across the dish and genuine be who you are it's like I tell people all the time when
23:12
they come to visit my district don't buy a pair of boots for the first time you come
23:17
out here you know if who you are skinny jeans and loafers with no socks I can respect that
23:23
more than I can respect you trying to relate with me you know too many times politicians
23:28
try to relate just be who you are own it and let's move forward and they're trying to make
23:33
him into this person why are they trying to make him into this person because they know
23:37
what Donald Trump did resonated with the people but Donald Trump it wasn't a show it was for
23:42
real it's who he is if you meet with him in person he you're going to see the same thing
23:47
now you're see a softer side I'm gonna decide that a individual that really cares but you're
23:50
going to still see the passion and the love for this country and when you've been in politics
23:55
for 42 years and that's all you've ever done all you're doing is going through the check
24:00
in the boxes you don't really even know who you are I had a I had a politician and I don't
24:05
mean this I mean I'm in office too so I take that title for me too but when I say a politician
24:10
I'm going to say someone that's all they've ever done is work for a government all they've
24:14
ever done is seek an office I had a politician tell me just recently they said you know I'm
24:19
working on one of the most and I'm not bragging about myself so don't think any of that I'm
24:23
just telling you what the conversation was to show you how people get out of touch like
24:27
the president and I'm working on one of the most impressive things about you is that you
24:32
know who you are and I looked at him this guy's been in office longer than me and I looked
24:37
at him and I was like what he says you know who you are you when you speak you speak with
24:44
passion when you show up you just own who you are and I have a problem with that I can
24:51
honestly tell you I don't know who I am and this is a guy that I looked up to and I thought
24:57
oh my goodness but that's what happens because this where I'm at in DC this isn't reality
25:05
this is what they call the bubble for a reason you get caught up in this bubble and you start
25:09
thinking this is what life is really is but life is when you get back home life is that
25:14
that's life and they have why they it was done on purpose it wasn't done on purpose to resonate
25:21
with someone it was done on purpose to speak to people because they thought that's what
25:25
the American people wanted what they want is someone to just be genuine just be who you
25:32
are full stop well and the problem is is when you've worked for in government for 40 plus
25:38
years or something like that it's so clear that Joe Biden is the thermometer of the Democratic
25:43
Party and not the thermostat like he's not setting the temperature he's looking he's looking
25:48
around for what the temperature is and then he's just going to react that way and when
25:51
you have that confidence in yourself like that that makes that makes a big deal that that
25:55
leads to something else I wanted to talk to you about because this gal to be honest was
25:59
not on my radar even 72 hours ago but it's Italy's new Prime Minister Georgia Marani she
26:05
kind of went viral over the weekend because and not viral because she's the first Prime
26:09
Minister in the history of that country that Italy hasn't been around as a country as long
26:13
as we think it is but it's still been around for a while and you don't think that would
26:17
be the narrative Mark Wayne that oh my gosh look out this is such a progressive move this
26:21
is such a big deal you know shattering the glass ceiling all those things you didn't
26:24
hear any of that because the first like 10 things that I saw about Georgia Maloney her
26:29
name was right next to Mussolini's name and they were branding her as the farthest right
26:34
leader in Italian history since Mussolini obviously like if they had done that with Angela
26:40
Merkel and saying like oh she's the most conservative person since Hitler obviously people are
26:44
going to start like paying attention to being like what in the world is going on but this
26:47
is a woman who is big on family is big on not murdering the unborn is big on the nation
26:53
of Italy and protecting the borders of Italy and so a lot of people are like oh she's she's
26:57
basically an Italian Donald Trump and they don't mean that as a compliment but Italians
27:02
mean that as a tremendous compliment because I think the last election Mark Wayne her party
27:06
got like 4% of the vote right and they they did like 10 fold better than that even more
27:11
than that this time around it seems like a lot of things are shifting and changing and
27:16
not just in America but when you're seeing a right wing movement and not an extreme racist
27:20
right wing movement but just a right wing populist movement even in Europe it seems like
27:25
the tides are shifting like what's your read of it well what God when you see this you see
27:31
that people are waking up you know the internet and social media platforms when they first
27:37
came on people really didn't know how to handle it they took the information as information
27:43
they took it as real but you're starting to see people that that now they're done with
27:48
the fake they're they're done with the with the the photoshopped images they're done with
27:54
the filters they just want someone to be real because we think this when we stare at it
28:00
becomes reality and you're seeing this shift in the American people that people just want
28:04
you to as I said just be who you are own it she is for financial responsibility she's for
28:12
faith and she's for family and she's for freedom and and that's what she stands for I mean border
28:18
security is freedom you know financially being being sound that's also freedom being for
28:25
family and faith by the way also brings freedom because it there's no bondage there this holding
28:34
you back you're able to be who you are and guess what you can live a happy and production
28:38
of life when you have those things in order and and and they're branding her because they
28:44
can't believe that the that the that the that the people of Italy would elect somebody like
28:49
this and by the way they call her the far right right and and who should who they're branding
28:55
her with keep in mind they did compare Trump to Hitler sure he's a biggest threat to the
29:02
American people but he never stood on a platform that looked very similar to when Hitler had
29:07
the books burning down in front of him and the flags behind him and he was given his raging
29:13
speech and he was banging on the podium I don't remember ever seeing Trump bang on
29:18
a podium do you I don't I don't remember seeing that and but yet but this is what the media
29:25
this is what the left wants you to believe because they're going to try to make those
29:30
comparison but just because they're not you they're not going to to conform to what you
29:36
think is right they're not going to conform to what they are trying to dry a draw that
29:41
our society is to people want somebody legit they want somebody that cares that they know
29:48
that cares that can relate with them without trying to relate with them because they've
29:52
been through those same struggles and by the way there's nothing wrong with loving people
29:56
there's nothing wrong with love in your family there's nothing wrong with love in the Lord
29:59
that that that sometimes when the world is in such turmoil people want something consistent
30:05
and those things that she believe in and that I would believe that the MAGA Republicans
30:10
for the most part believe in is just that there's some type of stability in just being
30:14
consistent starting a business can seem like a daunting task unless you have a partner like
30:20
Shopify they have the tools you need to start and grow your business from designing a website
30:25
to marketing to selling and beyond Shopify can help with everything you need there's
30:30
a reason millions of companies like Mattel, Heinz and all birds continue to trust and
30:34
use them with Shopify on your side turn your big business idea into sign up for your one
30:40
dollar per month trial at Shopify dot com slash special offer and it's again this is
30:46
a sovereign nation I think it's hilarious how people in the left in America are going
30:50
apoplectic about what people in a different country yeah it's like you spell that if you're
30:55
going to you're going to use it you guys spell it man we're to the day guys get a word of
31:01
the day calendar you'll sound really smart in front of your friends but they're losing
31:04
their minds about the outcome of an election in Italy it's like do you have nothing to
31:09
do with your time don't you have people here in America that depend on you do you have family
31:14
do you have a church home do you have any of these things you have these boxes that you
31:17
can check it because there's a community that could that could need people like you to be
31:21
focused on that community here you are freaking out about what's going on in Italy and you
31:26
know what might happen in Europe and countries that you can't even vote in but we'll make
31:30
this last question the day because I know you got to go and keep in mind the scriptures
31:34
the Lord said don't worry about the splinter in your eye when you have a or a splinter in
31:38
your neighbor's eye when you have a plank out of yours and and a lot of times we want
31:42
to distract ourselves by that you know you don't have to it's really hard to criticize
31:47
someone else when you're backyard kind of a mess don't tell your neighbor to mow your
31:52
yard unless you we need to yours right I mean and what that even goes back to Jordan Peterson
31:57
to where it's just like you know don't compare yourself to who someone else is today compare
32:01
yourself to who you were yesterday like that's that's kind of the whole idea and a lot of
32:06
people really should spend a whole lot more time focusing on that as opposed to looking
32:09
around but to wrap up for today let's talk about the overall chances the Republicans have
32:14
of taking over Congress taking over the House in the Senate it's seemingly we've seen the
32:18
last few weeks oh it's tightening a lot of these house races are tightening we're not
32:21
sure if the house is going to go red essentially all of the you know toss up elections would
32:27
have to go to the Democratic side and I mean all of them for them to keep a hold of the
32:31
United States House I think that's a foregone conclusion it's the Senate that's a lot a lot
32:35
you know tighter and a lot weirder I think your race you know obviously what we've talked
32:40
about that already but as we talked about the last time you're on the show what's going
32:43
on right now in Pennsylvania I have no idea what what Mehdaz is doing like he he's going
32:48
up against guy that can barely talk I have no idea what Herschel Walker's doing down there
32:51
in Georgia I'm very concerned about some of these tight races just not going to GOP's
32:56
way which would lead to the Senate staying in the hands and the court systems and all
33:00
those things and all those things that the Senate can do that is much more unique than
33:03
the United States House I don't see a lot of those things going that way again I'm more
33:07
pessimistic but what is your read of the chances the GOP has of taking not just the House but
33:13
also the Senate so let me break all that down for you first of all keep in mind what
33:18
the Democrat Party was saying about the Republican Party and I mean the Democrat Party so I'm
33:23
putting the media in that Democrat Party platform yeah they're saying in 2010 at the end of
33:31
the Republican Party is near the end of the Republican Party has been chastised the American
33:35
people they don't relate with American people anymore and we picked up the House by a margin
33:40
that hadn't been seen before by by 42 seats we won literally 42 seats largest margin and
33:46
the most how the most seats picked up by any party in any midterm election then you fast
33:51
forward to 2014 when you is having a little bit of issue with the with what I would say
33:57
the Tea Party and and the the bickering going on with the with the Republican Party and
34:04
the media was all saying the same thing that there's a foregone conclusion that we're going
34:08
to put Hillary Clinton into office fast forward to 2016 President Trump gets elected and they
34:15
just lose their loving mind and and and so what I mean by this is when we ran up to these
34:21
to these issues before the media always draws this picture and they start saying things that
34:26
they try to get the American people to believe that the American people always go in their
34:29
vote and they seem to put us back when that when the Democrat party goes as as rogue as
34:35
they are right now we're seeing we did see a bump talking numbers here pay attention don't
34:41
pay attention to the Republican vote and the Democrat vote really and you got to pay attention
34:45
the independent vote so Republicans the Republicans they know where they're at Democrats or Democrats
34:50
they know where they're at by the way I don't really know any Republicans voting for Democrats
34:54
but I do know some long-term Democrats are voting for Republicans and I would say all
34:58
of us can say yeah that's accurate when when they pass the the reconciliation package there
35:05
is a huge bump they saw a spike and and in their numbers and what we saw was the independents
35:11
who we haven't had the independence since Ross Pro in fact we want to average roughly
35:15
27 percent nationally speaking of independent votes since Ross Pro was on the ticket and
35:20
Ross Pro was the reason why we ended up with the Hillary's in office to begin with with
35:23
Bill Clinton beating Bush and and since then the independent has stayed with the Democrats
35:31
what we saw in this election is that the Democrat that the independents now were tracking with
35:35
Republicans by 53-54 percent margin meaning that they said they were they were going to
35:41
vote for Republican over a Democrat and over 70 percent were saying that they're more likely
35:46
to vote for Republican over a Democrat well after reconciliation we saw that number actually
35:50
tightened a little bit we saw that we saw them that they get a bump then you saw the production
35:56
that rolled out of of Biden trying to unite the country you saw the FBI handling you saw
36:03
that number start coming down a little bit now the numbers are back almost to where they
36:08
were at so we're still not by a 53 we're at 50 so we're dead even with independents just
36:14
think about that though if we're dead even with independents that's a 33 percent bump for
36:18
us right compared to where you were yeah compared to where we have ever been when this is Ross
36:23
Rose so we're going to win back the house by 20 by by 35 plus seats we will we will pick
36:29
up at least 35 seats I'm Tony right now in the house in the Senate I believe Dr. Oz holds
36:35
on federal men is starting to flutter out a little bit they're starting to expose him
36:39
even their own Democrat party is concerned what the biggest concern is is that he gets
36:43
in office if he does win and then he can't hold it and then they don't have a vote in the
36:47
in the Democrat governor ends up appointing their own uh their own his own senator to
36:53
fulfill the term which could be six years so I believe Dr. Oh Dr. Oz wins that seat so
36:59
we hold Pennsylvania um Hersher Walker's going to win we're going to win down there uh and
37:05
I don't know the margins but we're going to win I believe um Adam lack salt and and Nevada
37:11
will win that'll put us at 52 seats so even if we were to lose Federman uh lose the Federman
37:16
Dr. Oz was to lose that seat and we'll still be at 51 but then you got to start thinking
37:22
about we just I just talked about the independent bump up so what are the biggest states that
37:26
had the most independence in it Vermont New Hampshire Colorado um uh Arizona and Washington
37:35
State they have the most concentrated independence on there so we're competing in Vermont and
37:40
Arizona I think there's a good chance we could pick up one of those seats in the night of
37:44
that election what I would encourage everybody do is pay attention to those two seats there
37:48
are those two states because there'll be some of the first ones to report if we end up winning
37:52
one of those seats we're going to end up picking up 54 plus seats in this uh uh I say 54 we're
37:58
going to win by 54 seats so we're going to pick up five or six seats because if we win one of
38:03
those seats that means we're going to hold on to Wisconsin we're going to hold on to Pennsylvania
38:06
we're going to win Georgia we're going to win Arizona and we're going to win Nevada and then
38:10
we could possibly win Colorado which I think Oda is doing a great job in Colorado and so I think
38:15
there's a good opportunity to win Colorado because Colorado is just a D plus six seat with the numbers
38:21
of independence pulling the way they are they put everything that's a D 10 and what I mean by D
38:26
is it's a Democrat plus the margin like Republican is a Republican which we call an R plus 27 seat
38:33
Democrat and Colorado is a D plus six so anything below a D plus 10 with the independence moving
38:39
the way they are towards us puts it at play which is why I think we could pick up Colorado
38:44
and that means Washington I think Washington is a far stretch um and I believe Nevada or New Hampshire
38:50
and Arizona and uh in Vermont could be a far stretch but if we're close if we're competitive
38:56
in those seats then we're still going to win Wisconsin we're still going to win Pennsylvania
39:00
and we're going to flip uh Georgia and uh and Nevada and that'll put us at 52 and possibly win
39:07
Arizona so we're going to win I'm very confident we're going to win both chambers well I appreciate
39:13
that breakdown obviously it's going to be very interesting to see how things go and because you're
39:16
even seeing a Federman's team is saying yeah we'll debate but then they won't set a date so it doesn't
39:20
look like that's going to happen that may help or hurt we we don't really know but I know you got
39:24
other stuff you got to get on to today and we're going to have you back on next month before the
39:27
election to go through all this stuff we'll get some other topics aside from these but that's all
39:31
for me is there anything else you want to get off your chest no and keep in mind everything I
39:35
repeated was what today's political atmosphere looks like when we talk again before the election
39:40
all change because 24 hours in the political world is a whole lifetime four weeks it's forever
39:48
right and I mean I feel almost bad like I'm going to be releasing this in two days and I'm like
39:53
