1:17 This is Undaunted Life of Man's Podcast.
1:20 I'm your host Kyle Thompson.
1:21 Let's get into it.
1:23 Mark Wayne Mullen, I would welcome you back to Undaunted Life of Man's Podcast, but I'm
1:26 not very happy with you, sir, because I've told you this over and over that I get to wear
1:32 the official uniform of Undaunted Life of Man's Podcast, which is a black V-neck.
1:37 You don't get to do that.
1:38 You get to wear suits and go to Capitol Hill and scream at people.
1:41 What's going on?
1:42 Why are you crowding my territory?
1:43 I just wanted to show you what a V-neck could possibly look like on a real figure.
1:52 I wanted to pull it off.
1:54 This is a footlocker, black V-neck, that's how old this is.
1:58 I've had it for a long time.
2:00 What's footlocker?
2:01 That's my point.
2:02 Is that a thing?
2:03 Did you go there after you went to Hastings and landed a couple of VHSes and then went
2:09 to Blockbuster to return your video games, is that what happened?
2:14 I went to Blockbuster first, Blockbuster to have my video, so I went to Hastings.
2:18 Okay, well, I hate to admit this out loud, and here I am admitting it to my entire audience.
2:22 You look damn good in that V-neck Mark Wayne Mullen.
2:25 Maybe you can start wearing that on the hill.
2:26 I know you all actually do have a clothing standard that has now been reinstated, but
2:31 the V-neck can be pulled off with a suit jacket.
2:34 Yeah, I'm just, you know, I'm wearing this and I'm thinking of you, Kyle.
2:41 That's what I'm doing.
2:43 I woke up this morning and I thought, "You know what?
2:46 I want to feel closer to my buddy," and I put on the V-neck, and then I combed my beard.
2:51 I almost died it to just get a little bit more red color to it, but I thought it might
2:55 be a little much.
2:56 Here's the thing.
2:57 Everyone hates you all ready because you're a Republican.
2:58 If you were a red-headed Republican, you wouldn't be able to go out in public, so that's just
3:03 something that we have to keep in mind.
3:05 But to dig in today, there's really no good way of transitioning to this story, but obviously
3:09 the dominant news story right now and really for the entire year is going to be what the
3:13 Hamas terrorists did in Israel.
3:16 As of the recording of this recording, that's on Tuesday, October the 17th.
3:19 Death count is 1,300 plus, mostly Israelis, mostly Jews, 27 Americans.
3:27 There's somewhere around a desert.
3:30 That number change is 30 Americans.
3:33 30 Americans.
3:34 Okay.
3:35 30 Americans killed.
3:36 Last I saw was 14 Americans are still in Hamas custody.
3:40 They're aware abouts are at least not known to the public, but I'm assuming Delta and Dev
3:44 Guru have a good idea where they are, but we don't know the current status of them in
3:48 terms of how they're being treated or if they're even still alive.
3:53 Before we dig into the policy implications and the things that could come from such a story
3:57 of the American response, just give us your generic thoughts on what went down here about
4:01 a week and a half ago in Israel.
4:03 Well, I think it shocked all of us right, but it's not surprising because when you would
4:09 you have and I'm going to turn this into politics, but I'm going to build to why that's the case.
4:15 When you have a weak president that is more about appeasement than peace through strength,
4:21 his policy is appeasement through policy, and it doesn't work in the Middle East.
4:30 The Middle East has been at war for biblical times, and so when we start talking about what's
4:35 going to happen there, they only respect one thing is strength.
4:39 So you see Iran who is using Hamas as basically just a ploy.
4:46 And what I mean by that is I don't mean to sound crude here, so please, no one take this
4:53 out of context.
4:54 I'm just looking at this as from the world's view with Iran and the implementations of
5:02 what's going on in the Middle East.
5:04 Iran was simply using Hamas as an opportunity to kill Jews at the same time test the American
5:10 resolve.
5:11 Exactly.
5:12 When we pulled out Afghanistan and was willing to leave Americans behind, which you know
5:18 where I stand on that, and then be able to leave our partners and allies behind and literally
5:23 turn over Afghanistan to our enemy known terrorist group to Taliban and work with them, by the
5:32 way, on our withdrawal to allow them to take over the government of Afghanistan and take
5:39 over HKIA, which is an international airport, that we basically built and give them all
5:46 of our bases on the way out, and by the way, lead them billions of dollars worth of military
5:53 goods, that people started questioning what our resolve is.
5:57 And then you take in China is just doing the Belt and Road Initiative, which is trying
6:02 to undercut the United States every step of the way.
6:06 You got to realize there's an alliance between China, North Korea, Iran, and in Russia.
6:15 And you have China that's backing it, that is doing the political influence around the
6:23 world providing the infrastructure for this alliance.
6:28 You have North Korea that's providing the weapons, allowing it to be shipped through
6:34 the black market, and you have Iran that is supporting Hamas, Hezbollah, and other terrorist
6:41 organizations around the world, plus providing weapons to Russia outside of even though they're
6:47 being sanctioned.
6:48 And you have obviously Russia going into Ukraine, which were obligated to protect, and what
6:56 I mean by that, to understand that a little bit more, according to the Budapest memorandum
7:01 that we signed in 1994, we said that if Ukraine were to give up their nuclear weapons, we
7:09 would be there in the case that they were invaded specifically by Russia.
7:15 Now that was in 1994.
7:16 I don't think any of us would think that Putin would be going into Ukraine if Ukraine was
7:20 still a nuclear power.
7:24 But since they gave it up, we agreed that we'd protect them.
7:28 We've been wavering on that resolve, and then we've been wavering on our resolve to Taiwan.
7:35 You've been hearing Blinken bowing down to China.
7:40 You've been hearing the administration not sending out strong warnings to China.
7:45 And I believe, collectively, they thought, "Okay, let's hit them where it hurts.
7:50 Unless you use Hamas as a poi, let them go be jihad and get killed and go find their 77
7:59 virgins," which my wife brought up a good point, whereas all these virgins coming from.
8:04 And then let's go see what the resolve is with Israel.
8:10 What happened, though, is Hamas took it too far.
8:16 And because if you go back to 2014, when similar, not the same scale, obviously not even close
8:23 to the same scale, but when Hamas really attacked Israel, and Israel entered into Gaza with
8:30 a ground force, it was only about three days after they entered in that the media and the
8:36 United States started telling them to back off, hold up, the collateral damage is too
8:42 much.
8:43 And I believe they thought that would happen here, and it would show that the United States
8:47 wasn't willing to stand with literally their strongest and best ally, especially in the
8:53 Middle East.
8:55 But Hamas took it too far by the murdering and raping of children and women and beheading
9:05 babies and elderly and kidnapping individuals, and really there wasn't any option but for
9:15 this administration to come out as strong as they did.
9:17 And I'm glad they did, but politically speaking, and the geopolitics behind it, that's what
9:24 really this is more about, how Hamas was used to test America's resolve at the same time
9:30 going after their sworn enemy, Israel, and those that lived there.
9:34 Yeah, and I think that's a great point that you made there at the end, like credit where
9:37 credit is due.
9:38 The Biden administration has said the right words in the wake of this attack, but you're
9:42 absolutely right as well that they're the ones that set the temperature of the area.
9:49 And you know, people can go back to what happened when Donald Trump was in office.
9:52 It's like we didn't see things like this because he's like, okay, if y'all make me mad, I'm
9:56 going to drop the mother of all bombs on you.
9:59 And just just so because I can and just because I want to show you this and our strikes against
10:03 the generals of Iran, go ahead.
10:05 It put into context of what you just talked about for your audience that may not understand
10:09 that that was actual factual thing, Moab, mother of all bombs made in McAllister Oklahoma,
10:14 by the way, what happened was there was a the 19th group was it was in Afghanistan.
10:23 They were ambushed by a Taliban that killed a captain.
10:27 And the party of that was the captain that had just got traded out for medical reasons
10:35 was actually at my house when it happened because he's he's he's closer to me than a
10:39 brother.
10:40 I spent a lot of time with him, obviously in that region.
10:44 And and and Trump's response to that was, okay, I'm going to drop the largest bomb because
10:52 this is the first time that this happens when he since he would have been in office.
10:56 I'm going to try to drop the largest bomb since World War two on your head, even though
11:03 it wasn't even designed it wasn't even designed for that type of warfare.
11:09 I'm still just going to show you and show the world that I mean business and boom, he dropped
11:14 it.
11:15 And let me tell you it shook shockwaves around the Middle East and we got a new sheriff in
11:23 town.
11:24 And then on top of that Syria crossed Obama's red line by using chemical on their own weapon.
11:32 Mind you at that time, Russia controlled the airspace over Syria.
11:36 We literally would have to tell under Obama, we would literally have to tell Syria, hey,
11:42 or not Syria, Russia, hey, we're going to fly in at this time.
11:45 Don't shoot us down.
11:46 And we're going to drop people off at this area.
11:49 This is our LZ.
11:50 So you know exactly where our guys are and when that happened, when Syria actually used
12:00 chemical weapons underneath Trump's watch, Trump said, hey, in 30 minutes, I'm coming
12:05 in.
12:06 I'm going to bomb the airfield to which that took off from.
12:10 And you can clear out, oh, and by the way, we're taking back the airspace.
12:16 Drop me if you can, and he went in there and destroyed the airfield, destroyed the infrastructure,
12:23 and we controlled the airspace the entire time Trump was in office.
12:28 And when Obama came in, or not Obama, Biden came in, we reverse those policies and now
12:33 Russia controls it.
12:34 Yeah.
12:35 And shock of all shocks, whenever you don't show strength to your enemies, they take
12:38 you for a fool and they take you as a weakling.
12:41 And so they see us as both right now.
12:43 And so again, the Biden administration, they're they're saying the right words for the most
12:47 part and parroting some of the right things.
12:49 They've moved our aircraft carriers closer to the area basically as a show of force and
12:53 support for Israel.
12:55 But now we have to get to the main question because yes, like policy wonks, they want
12:59 to talk about, okay, what type of funding can we give and are we going to be able to
13:03 have enough money to support Ukraine and send more iron dome protection and different things
13:08 to people in Israel.
13:09 And the answer essentially is yes.
13:11 But at the end of the day, I think what most Americans are concerned about is, okay, if
13:15 the dominoes start to fall, Mark Wayne.
13:18 So you have Hamas attacking from the south, if Hezbollah attacks from the north, Israel
13:24 can fight on those two fronts.
13:26 However, but if Syria attacks from the northeast, that's another front.
13:30 And now you have Russian proxy states and Iranian proxy states all in this war, which
13:37 potentially brings Iran and Russia into direct conflict here with our ally.
13:42 And then that means, that means we're at war again.
13:45 So now we're talking World War three because China and North Korea, as you talked about
13:48 earlier, they're not going to sit by and wait for the dust to settle in the Middle
13:52 East.
13:53 So I think most people were concerned about American boots on the ground in Israel to
13:58 help not just push back Hamas, but Hezbollah and the Muslim Brotherhood and who the heck
14:04 knows Nigeria and Boko Haram could get in this thing.
14:07 It could be a real big mess.
14:09 Where do you see this going?
14:11 Well, let's back into the funding on this thing first.
14:16 There's a difference between Ukraine and Israel.
14:19 First of all, Ukraine was a state that was very, was struggling to support themselves
14:24 to begin with.
14:25 It really, they technically weren't fully bonus of sports themselves.
14:29 And so they, they are a nation that their economies wrecked right now.
14:35 You have Israel, Israel, we had a memorandum of understanding that was put in place by
14:41 Bush 43, that had $9 billion of emergency funding set aside in the case.
14:49 Now, $9 billion in war doesn't go very far, but it set aside to immediately do a plus
14:54 up in the case of a situation just like this that you just described, but it also gives
15:01 Israel full access, I say full access about 95% access to our military weaponry.
15:09 There's some that's, that they're not able to access just because of the sensitivity
15:14 to it, but they also have a nation that their coffers are full and they can buy that immediately
15:20 for us and instead of us having to build it, they can literally buy it out of our inventory.
15:25 Whereas Ukraine, they're not allowed to take it out of our inventory.
15:28 We have to build it before we ship it or it has to be depleted munition that is expiring.
15:34 That's, there's a huge difference.
15:37 When you start looking at the volatility that you just described how you are 100% accurate,
15:43 this could get out of hand very fast.
15:47 The interesting thing is, is what happens in the event that Iran and Syria and then
15:56 Russia gets pulled in, China at that point would probably take an advantage when we're
16:02 literally fighting two fronts.
16:05 Russia couldn't come in and fight in the Middle East.
16:07 They would be focusing more in Ukraine using that as an opportunity for a full pledge and
16:13 full all out fight, knowing that we would have to focus a lot more into the Middle East.
16:20 What would end up happening is our partners in Europe would have to take that fight on
16:26 essentially and you could be seeing the real reminiscent of what World War II looked like.
16:32 We would be focusing more in the Middle East and the Pacific, which is where we would have
16:37 to put some of our attention to.
16:40 I would think that just because Iran is not well liked in the area, because they understand
16:47 from UAE to the Jordanians, to Saudi Arabia, to even Qatar, they all know that Iran is
16:55 the bad actor, but not one of them was willing to fight them alone.
17:00 However, if Iran were to go all out and the United States was there, I believe you would
17:07 see UAE, for sure, they're the only Muslim nation that fought with us side by side in
17:15 a war on terror.
17:16 They were in Afghanistan, they lost people in Afghanistan, they fought there the entire
17:20 time with us.
17:23 Even the President, MBZ's four sons fought over in Afghanistan.
17:28 One was wounded twice, so they weren't just sitting there observing they were in the fight.
17:33 You would see Saudi Arabia, who would have a real questionable decision to make, and
17:41 I believe their decision would be to come fight with the United States at this point,
17:46 and because if we're all in, we're in the fight, we have a reputation of winning the
17:50 fight.
17:51 China would be trying to do influence economically speaking, but they wouldn't, and I know I'm
17:56 getting deep in the woods here, but Jordan, King Abdullah, HMK, he will undoubtably be
18:03 beside us.
18:04 He would be fighting with us, not necessarily fighting with Israel, even though they do
18:08 have an alliance some degree, but he's a peace holder.
18:12 He kind of holds the pieces together in the Middle East from this happening.
18:17 But if it happened, he would be on our side without question.
18:21 Remember, we, about every piece of military weaponry that the Jordanians have come from
18:28 the United States.
18:29 Hey, guys, real quick, I've talked about this on the show before, but I've been experimenting
18:33 with the idea of getting on the carnivore diet.
18:35 And so I've got a good buddy Chad Robachow, who's been on the podcast that he's been on
18:38 the carnivore diet for a while.
18:40 He's seen a lot of great success.
18:41 But the big thing that I've been worrying about is like, where do I get high quality
18:44 beef?
18:45 Like where exactly can I get beef where I can trust that's coming from reputable source
18:49 that it doesn't have a bunch of junk that's been in it.
18:51 And I've been looking for a cattle operation partner to really partner up with.
18:56 And that's why I want to introduce you to the new official beef delivery partner of
19:01 Undaunted Life.
19:02 And that's my friends at Primal Beef.
19:04 So Primal Beef is a brand new cattle operation owned and operated by Sean Glass.
19:09 So he is a retired Navy SEAL that served with Jocko Willing and Jocko is also a partner
19:13 in Primal Beef.
19:14 So what makes Primal Beef different from the other fly by night beef delivery companies?
19:19 It's a combination of the following.
19:21 So it's all American black Angus cattle.
19:24 The beef comes from one farm and that's in Virginia, Shenandoah Valley.
19:28 Also the beef is all natural.
19:30 There are no hormones added ever, no antibiotics ever, no mRNA ever.
19:35 And here's a cool thing.
19:36 After slaughter, the beef is dry aged and then it's hand cut by artisan butchers and
19:41 then flash frozen to ensure that it maintains the tenderness and marbling and flavor that
19:45 you'll want by the time it gets to you.
19:47 And here's another cool thing.
19:48 For every box sold, guys, Primal Beef donates meat directly to a member of America's Special
19:54 Operations Forces through the C4 Foundation.
19:57 So you can take pride in knowing that your purchase will help literally put food on the
20:01 table for one of America's finest warriors.
20:03 So are you salivating yet?
20:05 Because if not, you should be guys.
20:07 Try Primal Beef out today by going to www.primalbeef.com.
20:13 That will be in the show notes.
20:14 That's primalbeef.com.
20:16 Use the promo code Kyle.
20:18 That's my first name, KYLE Kyle for 10% off of your order.
20:22 Again, that is primalbeef.com.
20:24 Use the code Kyle KYLE to get 10% off of your order.
20:28 Okay.
20:29 So I appreciate a little bit of a deeper dive on all that.
20:32 I think another thing that comes up, Mark Wayne, and again, I don't know the exact numbers.
20:36 I just know it's kind of like, yes, no, these things happen.
20:39 We send billions of dollars in foreign financial aid to countries all over the world, but also
20:45 to countries in this area, it's my understanding that the US gives money to the Palestinians,
20:50 to the Lebanese, to the Egyptians, like we give this foreign aid.
20:56 And as we've seen a lot of videos of now being posted by Hamas, mind you, the US and
21:01 other countries like it will pay for things like new pipes to send a Palestine for them
21:05 to fix their sewage problem.
21:07 And they will use those pipes to build missiles and rockets.
21:11 They will dig up their own water pipes, their own infrastructure to build more missiles and
21:16 rockets.
21:17 And to a simple minded okey like me, I'm like, well, if the spigot is turning from water
21:23 to blood, how about we just turn the spigot off and say, Hey, look, you have to stand
21:28 on your own two feet right now.
21:30 You are responsible for caring for your own people like a mosque, which is the rightful
21:34 government of this, you know, area of Palestine.
21:37 It's like, look, you're using the money to fund terrorism and to support, you know, you're
21:41 basically your Hamas oligarchs are living in Qatar and Turkey right now, high on the
21:45 hog.
21:46 But you know, the fact that your people are starving is not my fault, right here in Oklahoma.
21:50 I've got my own problems to deal with.
21:52 Well, why can't we just turn the spigot off?
21:55 Well, we, we would in the fact if we were to go out in an all-out war war to start, we
22:05 would.
22:06 And I would caution and first of all, I don't think we should be funding governments that
22:13 aren't friendly to the United States anyways.
22:14 You never can buy friends.
22:16 I mean, we all know that.
22:18 However, it's been the, it's been the, I wouldn't say tradition, it's been the history of the
22:26 United States to do this for our interest.
22:29 For instance, the reason why we send money to Pakistan is right now, that's really the
22:35 only place we can operate out of.
22:38 And so there's a, I look away, you look away, but yet we still have this place to operate
22:44 out of.
22:45 That's the next door to the country that we should still have Bagram.
22:47 If we would have Bagram, we wouldn't have needed them.
22:50 But since the Biden administration gave up Bagram Air Force base, we now have to operate
22:55 out of someplace.
22:57 And so we do it underneath humanitarian aid, USA aid is technically where it comes from.
23:05 From these other countries the same way, right now if we were to pull all that back, immediately
23:10 what happened with China would backfill us.
23:13 And then that would even cause a bigger issue.
23:16 Now if a war were to come in, they would be more bold to probably do that knowing we'd
23:22 pull back the funding because China would be back over here saying we're going to backfill
23:26 you with the end currency rather than dollar currency.
23:33 And it's not typical, it's very tricky on how we have to move forward here.
23:38 But when this, when the dust all settles and we really start finding out where the intel
23:43 reports are at, we start finding all the roads that were connected here to Hamas be able
23:49 to pull this off.
23:51 And all those actors that was involved in it, I think you're going to start seeing a reshuffle
23:56 on how we use our foreign dollars.
24:00 Okay, that would certainly be a good thing.
24:02 And I think everybody is on the same page here, Mark Wayne, that everybody wants and everybody
24:08 that's a praying person is praying for peace in the Middle East.
24:11 But as of right now, the only way that we get peace in the Middle East is if Hamas is
24:15 annihilated.
24:16 That's the only way because we are warning everybody else, but that's that has to happen.
24:21 That's not act.
24:22 That's not 100% accurate.
24:24 You can cut off the tell of a snake and it still lives.
24:28 You got to cut the head of the snake off and the head of the snake is wrong.
24:31 So you can totally annihilate Hamas.
24:34 Hamas is an actor that's a size of a single garden snake when there's a pit of vipers
24:45 over in the corner.
24:47 Hamas is just a point of convenience for Iran.
24:52 Iran is the head of the snake and if you're going to eliminate those that are sponsoring
24:59 the world on terror right now, it's not even questionable who that person is and it's Iran.
25:07 Okay.
25:08 So yeah, I'll accept that of course.
25:11 But what the hell do you do with Iran?
25:12 Because obviously we saw the people in Tehran, they're there in their government facility
25:16 as these attacks are taking place and they're chanting death to America, death to Israel
25:20 kill the Jews.
25:22 And you know, again, a lot's been made about this and rightfully so that two weeks before
25:26 this attack, the Biden administration releases $6 million in supposed aid funds that was
25:31 going to be handled by Qatar, which I don't think we can fully trust, but that's just
25:34 my opinion.
25:35 But we allow them to control this aid funding.
25:37 Everybody knows that money is fungible and so it's like, well, yeah, hey, don't use this
25:41 money to kill Jews.
25:42 It's like, okay, we won't use that money to kill Jews.
25:44 We'll just have saved this amount of money to where we can use our own funds to kill Jews.
25:49 But how in the world do you deal with the Iran problem while at the same time understanding
25:54 that they hate Saudi Arabia, Saudi Arabia was close to establishing, you know, ties with
26:00 Israel or at least, you know, normalizing relations with Israel that people don't fully
26:04 understand the Sunni Shia, you know, Muslim divide, they don't really understand all that.
26:10 Like I'm absolutely out of loss with how in the world you deal with the head of the snake.
26:16 You know, you had to go through the economic side of it.
26:20 You don't want to invade Iran.
26:22 I really will say that because then what happened?
26:24 So we topple Iran, we saw underneath the Biden and Obama, Biden and Hillary Clinton time
26:32 when they had the spring of fence and they were toppling all these world leaders in the
26:37 Middle East, how well that's worked out has been been completely, I mean, complete disaster.
26:43 So if you went into Iran, do we really want to take that responsibility on?
26:48 I'd say no.
26:49 But what you can do is you can do the same thing that Trump did is you isolate them,
26:52 you squeeze them, you make them, you destroy their economy.
26:58 When the Biden administration came in, they released a lot of the sanctions that was put
27:02 on them and wasn't allowing them to trade oil on open markets.
27:09 And they were having to trade them on black markets, which means that they were selling
27:13 it way below what crude costs was.
27:16 As of this year alone, they've already sold $800 billion worth of oil on the open market.
27:22 They're selling it for, in some cases, actually above crude prices.
27:28 And then they have the sanctions that was put on them for trade with food, with supplies
27:34 going in and out of the country, with materials, such as material being sold to Russia right
27:42 now for the war on Ukraine.
27:45 We can isolate them almost completely to where they only have goat trails and donkey
27:52 trails to build and get products in and out of their country.
27:56 And then you allow the people to decide if that's the regime they want to keep in place.
28:03 If you remember during the Trump administration, the people were getting very restless in Iran.
28:11 They were riding, they were standing up against them.
28:14 Even when Biden came in, they started standing up still yet.
28:18 And then as the country became a little more wealthy, they were able to buy people off,
28:25 and the world kind of turned a blind eye to it.
28:27 So you're going to have to squeeze them into submission.
28:31 Okay, yeah, I like that, and that gives me better ideas as to what we can potentially
28:36 do there.
28:37 Before we get you out of here, I got to ask you about this story, and we talked a little
28:40 bit about it last time.
28:41 I hate this story.
28:42 I think this story is so stupid.
28:44 But the house doesn't have a speaker right now, because Matt Gates decided to run in
28:49 there with her grenade, and he is exactly what the Joker described in the dark night.
28:54 He's a dog that finally catches the car, but then he doesn't know what to do with it once
28:58 he's actually gotten it, right?
28:59 And so they get Kevin McCarthy out of office great, but then they have no freaking plan
29:04 from there.
29:05 Then you have Steve Scalise, who kind of wins this behind closed door straw poll.
29:10 He comes up realizes that he's not going to be able to get the votes.
29:13 He takes himself out of the running.
29:15 Now you have Representative Jim Jordan, that as of right now, this morning, he's thinking
29:20 that he's going to get the votes to be able to become the Speaker of the House.
29:23 There's some people thinking that the Democrats and the Republicans are just going to come
29:27 to some agreement to keep with the pro temp or whatever, like in place right now, and basically
29:32 he has no power, but he's just going to be like, I don't know, a figurehead until they
29:37 can get this whole thing figured out so that we can work with Israel and blah, blah, blah.
29:41 This feels like the biggest unforced error for Republicans right now, because the Democrats
29:46 look so bad Biden looks so weak.
29:48 And here we are talking about Republicans that just can't get along and play nice.
29:52 These people that are rhino hunting, I don't understand these people.
29:55 These prominent conservative commentators coming out, yeah, get all these rhinos out
29:59 there.
30:00 And if you don't like the people we're for, then get out, it's like, great.
30:02 That's step one.
30:03 What about step two guys?
30:04 So what's your read of this situation?
30:06 Well, first of all, that's a lot to unpack their Kyle.
30:09 So let's hit the rhino part of it first.
30:12 These individuals, they go out and they accuse me rhinos first.
30:16 They represent districts that Matt Gates could never be able to get elected in.
30:21 They represent districts that I couldn't get elected in, right?
30:24 So I would rather have a Republican that will vote with me 80% of the time than a Democrat
30:30 that's going to vote away from me 100% of the time.
30:33 So you have to make that decision.
30:35 We, Oklahoma is unique, but a Democrat in New York faces a different challenge as the
30:41 same thing than a Republican from New York does.
30:45 And a Republican from California is going to face a different constituent base than Tom
30:50 Cole does in Oklahoma City, or Stephanie Bistas in Oklahoma City.
30:55 So you got to understand that the ones that we like to call rhinos, a lot of times they're
31:00 the majority makers.
31:01 They're the ones that keep the gavel out of Nancy Pelosi's hands or takes the gavel away
31:07 from Chuck Schumer.
31:08 So you got to figure out what you want there.
31:10 You talk about somebody like Matt Gates.
31:12 Matt Gates isn't a Republican.
31:14 Matt Gates isn't about principle.
31:16 Matt Gates isn't about policy.
31:18 Matt Gates is about self-promotion.
31:20 It's about himself.
31:21 And the same thing with Tim Burchett, the same thing with Ken Buck, the same thing with
31:25 Bob Goode, Andy Biggs, you know, I can name all eight of them.
31:30 And these are individuals, they were, they literally worked with 208 Democrats to oust
31:36 the Republican speaker with no contingency plans.
31:41 They just, they did it because they wanted to be on CNN.
31:45 That was it.
31:46 They just wanted an opportunity to have fame.
31:49 And I say it here all the time, people hurt you a lot to gain themselves a little.
31:53 But since this has taken place, what have we missed?
31:55 What's the opportunities that because of this, this rogue group of eight Republicans
32:01 working with 208 Democrats to oust the Republican speaker for the first time a speaker has ever
32:06 been ousted in history.
32:10 What happened?
32:11 Well, we had Hamas attack Israel, we've allowed ourselves, the Republicans to be irrelevant
32:18 in the conversation because Speaker McCarthy was the only Republican voice we had out there.
32:24 Completely irrelevant.
32:25 You've seen Joe Biden's number now jump by 4% because they seem to be strong on Israel
32:31 and Republican is being quiet on it.
32:35 You've seen AOC in the squad to leave Omar Bennett.
32:40 You see these individuals go out there and side with Hamas and we should have been immediately
32:50 taking a resolution to the floor to censor them and we wouldn't and we would have put
32:58 the Democrats in a very tough position.
33:01 Do they censor their own or do they do they vote with the Democrats?
33:06 That's typically they vote together and they would have had to, probably a lot of them would
33:10 have voted to not censor, but instead you allowed the White House to come out and condemn them.
33:18 Once again, lost a huge opportunity that we may not recover from and we still don't have
33:23 a speaker as we speak, although today I do believe Kyle that Jim Jordan will get the
33:31 votes.
33:32 He's the floor without the votes, right now he'll hit the first vote.
33:37 He may have to go two or three.
33:39 He may get it on the first one.
33:40 As of right now he's about 10 away from getting there.
33:44 I talked to him this morning, talked to him last night, talked to him yesterday and he
33:49 feels confident he's going to get there.
33:51 I've been talking to his whip team.
33:53 They feel very confident they're going to get there.
33:56 I would be real surprised by the end of the day if we don't have a Republican speaker
34:02 in place, but we've already missed the opportunity.
34:05 It's really hard to go back now and censor the squad.
34:13 It's really hard now to get in front of the Biden administration on this.
34:17 We've lost golden opportunities here.
34:19 Golden opportunities and momentum.
34:20 The toothpaste is out of the tube and again, guys, we're recording this on Tuesday.
34:24 The morning of Tuesday, October the 17th, so by the time you hear this, hopefully this
34:27 will be resolved.
34:28 I would be thrilled if Jim Jordan gets in.
34:29 I think he would be a fantastic speaker.
34:31 The one last question before you go, the reason why McCarthy was able to be ousted so easily
34:36 was because in order to gain the speakership, he did some sort of deal with whatever they
34:40 call themselves, the freedom caucus, the dork squad, whatever they call themselves.
34:44 But is that going to be something that is not going to be part of this?
34:47 Because I don't want us to be a few months down the road, these handful of idiots don't
34:52 like what Jim Jordan's saying or doing, and then they just oust him like they did McCarthy.
34:57 Well, so what you're referring to is the motion of vacate.
35:01 It's a rule that's been put in place for decades and decades and decades, or any member
35:07 of the majority party, actually any member of the House period, but usually it comes from
35:14 majority party, could put out a motion of vacate and enforce a vote on the speaker.
35:23 What happened when Pelosi got in place, she changed the rule to where it had to be the
35:28 majority of the majority to be able to do that.
35:32 Because remember, she just barely made the vote to begin with.
35:35 And so she changed the House rule that the majority of the majority had to put out the
35:38 motion of vacate before it was able to come to the floor as a resolution.
35:46 McCarthy was going to leave it in place.
35:48 The Freedom Caucus, specifically Matt Gaetz said no, then because this was his plan all
35:53 along, then he said, "Okay, then let's do 30% of the caucus, let's do 20% of the caucus.
36:01 Let's have five members.
36:02 It takes eight members.
36:05 Matt Gaetz was persistent on saying one.
36:07 He wants to take it back to one."
36:09 And by the way, Lauren Bobert was there too.
36:11 Lauren Bobert did not vote to vacate the chair, by the way.
36:17 But he was like, "We want one in there," because this was Matt Gaetz's way to get back to
36:22 fame, to throw a punch or to just state the facts, whichever way you want to interpret
36:27 it.
36:28 Matt Gaetz was a very popular member when he first came to Congress because he's got
36:32 a silver tongue.
36:33 The guy can speak well, and he can articulate very, obviously, a lot better than I can.
36:40 The problem was that he was about ready to sign a deal with Newsmax to be a host for
36:45 them, and he was going to leave Congress.
36:47 I know this because he's personally told me this.
36:50 But he got accused of sleeping with an underage girl and went through all the investigation
36:55 for it.
36:56 And the news media wouldn't touch him.
36:57 He became very irrelevant.
36:59 No one will touch him.
37:00 You didn't see him on Fox.
37:01 You didn't see him on News Nation.
37:02 You didn't see him on Newsmax.
37:03 You didn't see him anywhere.
37:07 And until November, when he started opposing Speaker McCarthy as the speaker.
37:13 And then he rode that horse as far as he can ride it.
37:17 And now he's now soon when Jim Jordan becomes in office, we'll see if Matt Gaetz still
37:23 stays relevant.
37:24 I don't believe he will though.
37:25 I just got to tell you, Mark, Wayne, everything seems really stupid, but I'm really appreciative
37:29 that you come on here to talk about all the stupid things.
37:31 But hey, next time we're something different.
37:34 Okay.
37:35 This is more.
37:36 We're 20.
37:37 And just remember your Danny Evito, I'm our unsportionator.
37:40 Just keep that in mind.
37:41 I never agreed to that whatsoever that I'm talking about.
37:44 Okay.
37:45 Hopefully the same size.
37:47 Okay.
37:48 I'm not going to make you show me the guns unless you wanted to right now because I'm
37:51 ready to take everyone to the gun show if you need to.
37:53 Is that a long living neck?
37:55 No, a short sleeve.
37:57 Let's see him.
37:58 Let's see him.
37:59 Mark Wayne.
38:00 Let's see.
38:01 Oh, guys, if you're not watching this on YouTube or rumble right now, you are massively missing
38:05 out.

When you have a weak president that is more about appeasement than peace through strength, his policy is appeasement through policy, and it doesn't work in the Middle East.
