This is Undaunted Life of Man's Podcast. I'm your host Kyle Thompson. Let's get into it.
0:27
Alright, Mark Wayne, I'm on to your games here. Okay. You came right on here and as soon as you
0:32
connected, you gave me a compliment. I don't know that you've ever given me a compliment before,
0:35
but the only reason you did it is because we're not actually recording. But now we are recording.
0:40
So how about you make your opinions known, all right? Yeah, so you know this thing that since I'm
0:46
elected office, it's kind of like this contagious thing that Joe Biden's put out is you get really
0:51
forgetful. And so I have no idea. In fact, I don't even know where I'm at. I have no idea what
0:58
you're talking about, man. Let me see if I can jog your memory just a little bit. You looked at my
1:03
face and you were like, man, that is quite the beard. I think you said Viking. I think you said
1:08
a handsome. I think you said, how am I going to even be able to get my opinions on these subject
1:13
matters because of how handsome you are. Does that ring? I remember. I remember now. I said,
1:18
wow, your beard's covering up so much more. Your face. Good look for you. That's exactly what I
1:24
said. This is not over all this unacceptable behavior. All right. I'll be honest for your listeners. I
1:30
did give you a compliment on your beard. I was like, I was like, it actually looks pretty good on you.
1:37
And your words was, you know, my wife doesn't feel the same about the length and I was like,
1:41
well, I think you look, it makes you look more like a Viking. So I did, I did say that. That's
1:47
your one and only compliment. We are now May 22nd of 2024. You will not get another compliment
1:54
the rest of the year. Okay, we will. I will do my best to make you a liar as it pertains to that.
2:00
But I certainly do appreciate. No, my wife does not appreciate how long the beard is,
2:04
but I can say, you know, I do all the things, right? I make sure it looks good. So I don't look
2:09
totally scruffy and crazy. So fun thing to start out was that, I guess, was the fun thing. We're
2:14
about to move on to something that's not so fun. And I'm not sure exactly how much you can talk
2:18
about this situation, but it is like topic of conversation, top of mind for most people in my
2:23
audience, especially my Oakies. So it's this Turks and Caicos situation with Ryan and Valerie Watson.
2:28
So guys, I talked about this at length on episode, well, not really at length. I talked about it on
2:33
episode 589. Long story short, husband was traveling with the same bag. He went to hunting season
2:37
with there were a few loose six, five creed more rounds in his bag. TSA didn't catch it on the way
2:42
out of the country. Turks and Caicos acted like they didn't catch it on the way into the country.
2:46
They let them spend thousands and thousands of dollars on vacation and then on their way out.
2:50
Arrested Ryan and his wife, they eventually let Valerie go because, you know, she wasn't being
2:55
held for anything other than to intimidate Ryan. But as of right now, Ryan is still in jail in
3:00
Turks and Caicos, facing potentially up to a 12 year sentence of in jail for the Turks and Caicos
3:05
situation. And you know, you are his United States representative. You are his senator. I know that
3:10
Kevin Stitt, our governor has been on top of this situation. So since we're talking about this in
3:15
real time, this is going to be released around the same time as we're talking. Where are we at
3:19
with that situation? What is the outlook? What can you actually share with us about the stuff
3:23
that's either been reported or some things that you want to make sure everyone knows about?
3:26
Well, I actually just got back from Turks and Caicos. I took a congressional delegation down
3:32
there a Sunday evening. We flew back Monday evening with the anticipation of coming up to the conclusion.
3:40
And so let me let me back up and give you some back swear. I've been working on this for actually
3:45
seven weeks now. We've been very careful to not talk about it publicly. Being very respectful that
3:51
Turks and Caicos is a sovereign territory of Great Britain and Great Britain allows them to govern
4:00
themselves. So we didn't want to back them into a corner because, you know, if you back a dog in
4:07
the corner, they either carr down or bite and most governments are not going to back down.
4:11
So we are very cautious about where we stood to kind of give people a background on this of what
4:17
has happened is about two years ago, they, Turks and Caicos started seeing an influx of Haitians
4:24
and Jamaicans coming to the island and started causing a lot of gun violence. They started seeing
4:30
guns start getting ran into the country. They started seeing drug violence. Shooting started
4:36
taking place. They passed a law, which by the way, when it becomes law, it's also part of their
4:42
constitution. So their law is their constitution. And basically it said that one, a nationalist
4:51
or a tourist because these individuals, the Jamaicans and Haitians were technically there on as a
4:57
tourist because they weren't nationalists, that all nationalists and all tourists would be charged
5:04
equally on their gun laws and their gun laws, they changed to have, if you have one, 22 bullet,
5:10
which is, you know, that's a small bullet for those listeners. I think everybody in your
5:15
audience would surely know what the 22 is, but just for the saying, it's this small, small bullet.
5:20
You got a BB, you got a pellet, then you got a 22. That's the order about what they go in.
5:24
And if you have one small bullet, or if you have an AR with four fully loaded mags and you're out
5:34
there waving and trying to sell it on the streets, all of it is treated the same with a 12 year
5:41
minimum sentence. Now, what is also in place is a thing called a Customs Act. Customs Act is in
5:49
is in place for a situation like this that that say someone was traveling from the United States
5:56
and they go into a country where ammunition is illegal because some countries have that.
6:02
During the Customs Act, if you're caught with it going through Customs, you're charged through
6:06
that which is a fine and you're sent back home, no prison time. If or if you're leaving the country
6:15
and you're bringing contraband through the security line and it's an international flight,
6:21
that then is considered Customs. So you're technically going through Customs at the beginning of the
6:27
Customs at that point. So at that time too, you can also be charged underneath the Customs Act.
6:32
If there was no criminal intent, now that's important to understand. If there was no criminal intent,
6:38
if you're a criminal because you're transporting large sums of it because you purchased this in
6:43
the country or there's evidence to say that you're trying to sell it in the country or smuggle it
6:51
in and out of the country, then that's different. That's criminal. At that point, you're charged
6:55
underneath national law. So when they changed their law two years ago, what they said is that
7:01
this new law trumps the Customs Act. Meaning that it doesn't make any difference what happens to
7:08
the Customs. If you're on soil in Turks and Caicos, you're caught with one bullet or for 500 rounds
7:15
or you're caught with an AR or a pistol, it doesn't make any difference. They charge you all the same.
7:20
And so in this case, the five individuals that are currently being charged, one has already served
7:26
six months underneath a previous law. This law just sent the this law went in effect in February
7:32
of this year, which they've apprehended one American roughly every three weeks now.
7:38
Among the five that are currently being charged, as we speak, they have they've had less than 20
7:46
bullets among them combined. No gun, 20 bullets combined. Brian Watson actually had the most of
7:54
all of them. He had four, as you said, hunting rounds. And then you have Brian, who will be
8:01
charged, he'll be the first one sentenced, which will be Friday. This would whatever day this is
8:07
released, this is going to be charged this Friday. So what day would that today's the 22nd, 3rd,
8:11
4th, 25th, right? 25th as Friday. So he'll be charged this coming 20 on the Friday on the 24th,
8:19
it'll be the 24th. This is releasing the day before that. Okay, so so he'll be charged Friday,
8:24
the 24th. Yeah, today's Wednesday, 23rd. Yeah, right. This is Wednesday, not Tuesday.
8:29
So so anyways, he, he will be the first one actually charged up to the 12 year sentence.
8:35
When we went there, we were, we were really looking for a way forward. Keep in mind,
8:39
their main, their main driver of their economy is tourism, which is equals 62% of their economy
8:47
is tourism. Out of the 62%, 90% comes from the United States. 75% of every home owned in Turks
8:56
and Caicos is owned by an American. 80% of every hotel and resort room that is, that is slept in
9:03
on a nightly basis is American. 70% of all cruise ships, passengers are American. 70% of all imported
9:10
goods to Turks and Caicos comes from the United States. And so you think it'd be in their interest
9:17
to do what is right here and what is right is this is what I said to them is if we have someone
9:22
trying with intent to sell this stuff on your, on your property or in your, on your island,
9:28
you put them in, you rest them and put them in a jail cell with someone that thinks they're cute.
9:32
I don't care. But these are individuals that were on vacation that was leaving your country
9:37
and they had no intent to do this. They was accidentally there and they started blaming it on
9:42
TSA that TSA should do a better job. They would have to deal with this if TSA did a better job.
9:47
Then they, then they started arguing the point that the United States is at fault anyways because
9:53
we've manufactured the bullets and the guns. And, and so I was like, Hey, guys, hold on
9:58
say we're trying to get to the solution here. Let's figure out how to get to where we need to go.
10:02
And, Kyle, they weren't interested in it. They didn't seem like they had a problem with it,
10:07
that it was our fault. And I said, so I even made another offer to them. I said, okay, if,
10:12
if your intent is to keep the ammunition from coming into your country,
10:17
then why don't we scan the, the, the bags that come into your country because they only scan on
10:22
the way out. They never scan on the way in. And they said, well, that's not our job. And I was
10:27
like, no, if your job, if you want to keep it from, from being, it being brought into your country,
10:31
then you should scan it before it comes into your country. And that should be a, that customs.
10:37
The problem is that they actually did that. Then the people would be required to be charged to the
10:42
customs act because technically they haven't got accepted into the country. They're still,
10:46
they haven't got their passport stamped. So they're still in the custom process. And yet they weren't
10:52
interested in that either, which brings you to the conclusion that they're detaining Americans
10:56
to harass us, I guess. I'm not saying they really are, but there's a solution to keep this from
11:02
happening. And the law that they have in place could still be used for an intended purpose
11:07
to keep the gun violence off their streets, which I totally support that. That's what they want to do.
11:12
But Ryan is one of those that's been caught up in this mess. And so, you know,
11:16
we have a couple of options that they're not willing to address this, which we'll find out.
11:20
They said that AG from that's appointed from Great Britain has said that they have put a
11:27
directive to the judges and to that, to that they don't have to sentence them to a minimum of 12
11:34
years that they can use discretion on the circumstances. So in any of those circumstances,
11:42
if they final and say time served, calm good with that. If they decide that they're going to
11:49
send us them to any length of prison, I'm not good with that. So that makes our next option
11:54
is is what can we do? Well, we do provide them with quite a bit of dollars for security purposes.
11:59
So trafficking on the water around them, we partner with Turks and Caicos with Great Britain and
12:07
ourselves on stopping a tremendous amount of drug trafficking and arm trafficking as trying to come
12:13
in and off the island. And the reason why they try to get it to the island is because the planes,
12:19
the majority of them fly straight into the United States, and they're able to get on
12:22
commercial flights. They hide them in the wings. They had it in the cargo. They pay these individuals
12:28
off. And that's how they're getting a lot of product in. So they're trying to get it in to
12:32
Turks and Caicos. So there's only one airport that people come in and off of. And they also
12:36
try to get it on to cruise ships because a lot of products when they dock get put on because they're
12:42
offloading and unloading new supplies. And so that's why they're trying to get it to Turks and Caicos
12:46
to begin with. We work very hard with trying to keep that from me. So we can go out for the
12:51
resources to say, listen, we're going to quit partner with you on this. And then the other
12:56
option is to do not travel. So you enter a do not travel, which is what we more likely will start
13:05
pushing. Then once you do that in the State Department finalizes it, then a cruise ship, for
13:11
instance, that's going to go to Turks and Caicos. They won't be able to dock because of the insurance.
13:18
The insurance to go there will be outrageous. Well, that's not going to hurt the cruise ships.
13:23
The cruise ships will just go to a different island. They'll just leave Turks and Caicos off
13:27
their itinerary. But the tourist dollars and the dock fee from the cruise ship will hurt them pretty
13:34
bad. If you're going to plan a vacation, you want to go there for a honeymoon, you want to go there
13:38
for a wedding destination, you want to go there for just to get away on a normal vacation, whatever
13:44
you want it to be, a travel agency won't be able to refer them to you. And if you choose to go
13:49
there, you won't be able to get travel insurance. So some people still choose to go there. But
13:54
majority of people won't be able to go there because they won't know about it or they won't
13:58
be able to get insurance. They want travel insurance. And there'll be a level four do not travel a
14:03
advisory that's going to put in place. And that will have an economic impact. And we don't want to
14:09
hurt Turks and Caicos. I mean, there's a lot of US investments that go there. But at the same time,
14:15
if it's not safe for Americans to travel there because of the circumstances, then that's my job.
14:20
And that's what I told them, you make decisions which best for your island and your constituents.
14:24
But we have to make decisions what's best for Americans to. And right now, if you continue to
14:30
enforce this the way that you are, then that's what's going to happen. Of course, they threw back.
14:34
And I know I'm speaking a lot of your rhyme, but I'm giving you a lot of feedback on or Kyle,
14:38
they're speaking a lot of, they're speaking a lot of back and forth. And what they're trying to say
14:44
is that we're wanting Americans to be treated different. And we're like, no, the custom act is
14:52
the international law. You can charge them underneath this, your laws to catch what's happening on
14:57
your streets. And if we have an American that's participating in that, then we're saying lock them
15:02
up to full extent of your laws, no problem. But this is a much different case. And I reiterate this
15:08
one more time. No one's had a gun. These are all among five people, less than 20 total bullets found.
15:17
Hey guys, real quick, as you've likely heard me talk about on the show before, it took me
15:20
forever before I started taking supplements of any kind. I was always nervous about taking like
15:25
whey protein and creatine or really anything beyond that, because I was just afraid of what was in
15:30
the product. And if it was gonna like give me cancer someday or something like that. And I was
15:33
always scared of these companies, these supplement companies, just cutting corners and using low
15:38
quality products and eventually putting things in their products that could cause problems for me
15:42
and my body. So I've always wanted to partner up with an American company that uses high quality
15:47
ingredients in their supplements. And that's why I want to remind you guys that we are partnered
15:51
with Jocko Fuel. So Jocko Fuel is Jocko Willing's American based supplement company. So what are
15:56
some of my favorite products that they make that I also use? They have the best tasting greens powder
16:01
on the market. I love the peach flavor myself. They also make whey protein powder. The banana
16:05
cream is my favorite. They make energy drinks. The Jocko Go energy drinks. My favorite is currently
16:10
a tie between their iced tea lemonade and their pink lemonade flavors. I also use their creole oil,
16:15
their creatine, their vitamin D, and also their sleep aids. And they make a bunch of other stuff
16:20
like ready to drink protein protein cookies, which are actually really delicious. My boys even
16:24
like them pre workout powder and much, much more guys. If you take your health and wellness seriously,
16:29
then you've got to put high quality products in your body. Try Jocko Fuel out today by going to

16:48
Yeah, it's it's a crazy situation. I've been trying to remind people like, look,
16:52
hey, they're their own territory. Other countries like ignorance of the law is not an excuse.
16:57
You do have reciprocity. You do have understanding and you should have, you know,
17:01
propriety over your own baggage and the things that you have. And just because it would be a
17:05
dumb law here doesn't mean that they don't get to have it. They probably think that we have a lot
17:09
of dumb laws. But I think we're all rooting for this family and the other families that have been,
17:13
you know, caught up in this. But it is just a warning to people. It's like, hey, when you're
17:18
traveling somewhere, that's not to a different state within your own country, but a different
17:23
country or territory entirely, you should familiarize yourself with these laws and the things they're
17:28
in. But I'm just so glad and I know you would echo all that. And I'm just glad that you instead
17:33
and others are a part of this trying to help help this family out and try to, you know,
17:38
encourage this island to do the right thing. Because I know you don't want to do these other
17:41
things to them as you've already elucidated. Go ahead. Yeah, no, well, I mean, just simple
17:46
stuff like what you say to familiar yourself with the law. So I tell you what we deal with
17:49
most of the time when we're at the Customs Act. It's not guns. It's not bullets. It's not even
17:53
drugs. It's not really prescriptions, even though prescriptions is actually quite happens quite
17:59
often because people have a prescription here in the United States or from another country.
18:04
And that same prescription isn't accepted in another country. For instance, all this stupid
18:09
medical marijuana that we have inside the United States right now, it's not accepted in most
18:14
countries, believe it or not. And so we deal with those issues quite a bit. But that's where the
18:19
Customs Act goes into play. So it's much different. But the thing we deal with more than anything,
18:27
Cal, is two-way radios. You'd be surprised at how many countries don't allow two-way radios,
18:34
which what do you mean two-way radios? I'm talking about these little walkie-talkies that
18:37
your kids play and you're taking it because you're going to go on the beach or you're going to go
18:40
on a hike or you're going to go on a bike ride or you just get them because your kids like to play
18:46
with them. And these little things you give for Christmas gifts here, your kids are traveling with
18:51
them. It's illegal in a lot of countries because they're in charge of the communications and so
18:57
they don't want someone else to be able to communicate because they reserve that just for
19:01
police or something. And that happens all the time. Once again, if you're in country using them,
19:07
that's a strong fine, like that's prison time. But since it was caught going through customs,
19:11
it falls into the Customs Act. Typically, the people who are in those cases are actually still
19:15
allowed to go into the country, but they still got to pay a hefty fine and they lose the radios.
19:19
That's how they can handle this in Turks and Caicos if they chose to do it. They're choosing
19:25
not to. So if I'm advising someone right now, Cal, to go to Turks and Caicos, I say no, don't go.
19:31
I mean, I'll give you instance on all these cases. And I'm going to leave some of the names out of
19:37
it and use first names in other places. The lady who just recently got arrested from Florida,
19:42
she was a grandmother and she is a grandmother. Her daughter and her grandkids, which has five
19:49
grandkids gave her a gift for Mother's Day to go to Turks and Caicos with her and her daughter.
19:55
So they go down there. She grabs a bag out of her closet that had, she had a gun in that she's
20:01
never shot. She literally says she has it there because when her grandkids come over and stays
20:05
with her, she wants a way to protect them because she's not married. And so she took the gun out of
20:10
it. They go through TSA. They go through their vacation. They're leaving and she gets arrested
20:16
at the checkpoint. She's not allowed to say bye to her daughter. The daughter doesn't know what's
20:22
going on. They take her cell phone away from her so she can't make phone calls. She had two
20:27
nine millimeter rounds that had fell down in a side pocket into the seams, which they couldn't
20:32
even find. They had to take the bag apart. This is their report. They had to take the bag apart
20:37
to even get to the nine, to the rounds. And the only way you could get those rounds out is you
20:42
would have to get into the lining and push them back up because you know, you ever had those were
20:47
like a pen drops down or you've had some change or a cough drop down in a bag and you cannot
20:54
get to that little spot that is in. You know, I'm talking about? Yeah. Yeah. That's what happened
21:01
here. This lady, they arrest her. She can't call her her mother or her daughter. Her daughter
21:08
goes and gets on the plane. She is now arrested handcuffed for three days to a table. And when
21:16
she slept, she was hacked, they cut the, they hand cut her didn't hand cut, but she they shackled
21:24
her to a chair. And when we found her, which was Ryan's mother, or who's Susan, Ryan Watson from
21:30
Oklahoma, Susan and her husband has moved down there. And what she's become is the mother to all
21:36
these Americans now that are being kept. She went to the jail, found her. She didn't have a blanket.
21:42
She didn't have anything to drink. She didn't have anything to eat. They went down and bought
21:45
stuff for her to go and at least have a blanket to cover up with at night. And she,
21:50
this grandmother that is from Florida now is facing 12 years in prison, essentially.
21:59
Brian Watson traveled with his wife on a vacation. We all know his story. Brian,
22:04
who will be charged, who will be actually sentenced this, like I said on the 24th,
22:10
he was down there with his wife and two kids, which they'd been down there multiple times on
22:13
vacation. He was leaving. He actually had only two rounds and nine millimeters that was lost
22:18
and his or two bullets, I guess. I keep saying rounds and not everybody understands what rounds
22:22
are. So two bullets in his luggage. And he wasn't allowed to say bye to his wife and kids. He was
22:28
actually instructed, don't look at them. Don't say anything to them. And yours here for 12 years,
22:33
and they put them straight on the plane. It was days before he was able to call them and get
22:37
hold of them and tell them what was going on. You have a Tyler who is from Virginia. He was a
22:42
paramedic who got off of the Royal Caribbean cruise for a day. And he goes back to get on
22:49
Royal Caribbean. And he had two bullets in his possession too. And no gun. And they arrested him,
22:57
locked him up. He couldn't get hold of anybody because they took his cell phone. His buddies who
23:02
was traveling with him, they had to contact his dad. His dad flew down the island, couldn't find
23:07
him because he was at a separate island. And there was being held there took his dad several days to
23:13
find him before he could actually get hold of him. Once they got hold of him, he had to borrow the
23:17
money to belly mount, which was $15,000. And now they're having to just stay down there and spend
23:24
money that they don't have. And by the way, on Ryan's case, they held him and his wife for 11 days.
23:30
When they finally decided to arrest him, he wasn't allowed to say goodbye to his wife.
23:34
They put her on a plane and sent her out. And he wasn't allowed to do anything he was. And before
23:40
they would allow him to be built out, they had to find somebody on the island that was willing to
23:44
put up collateral of $10,000 because he couldn't put up a cash bond. He had to put up collateral
23:51
of $10,000 for him to able to get through. And luckily, they found a driver who had driven them
23:57
earlier in the week to put up the title of his SUV for him to be able to get out. I mean,
24:05
just crazy stuff that these individuals are dealing with. And there's nothing being happening to
24:14
or there's no recourse. They're not trying to fix this. So once again, I go back to,
24:17
if you're driving a terse and cake, I'd say don't go.
24:20
Yeah, I mean, I would echo that. I really do appreciate you going into all that detail,
24:24
because I mean, we're getting these little snippets and it's it's out of the new cycle now because
24:28
everything moves on. But again, as I would echo to anybody else, never go to Turks and Caicos,
24:34
even if they make the right call, even if they do what y'all are encouraging them to do and they
24:39
make the right call, no, like you're you're you're dealing with corruption. You're dealing with
24:44
a lot of different haggard situations. I'm sure there are a lot of people on the take
24:48
in this entire situation when you're paying these big bales and putting up collateral and having
24:52
to put an attorney on retainer. That is a Turks and Caicos attorney. If those people are also
24:57
working with the local government there, I, you know, I'll eat my hat. And so it's a very,
25:02
very jacked up situation. I know we don't have you for very much longer. So there's a couple more
25:06
things I want to bring up, but go ahead. Well, I want to hit that on to you when you're saying
25:09
jacked up situation. So you have you have an island that has 45,000 people on it, right?
25:16
They only have 8,000 people registered to vote. Only 6,000 actually vote. And now those 6,000,
25:23
the majority of all 6,000 share of one of three last names. And so there's three families that
25:29
control the majority of that island. So you can take your conclusion or whatever you want. I'm
25:34
not willing to make those accusations, but there is there is a small group of people that control
25:42
that island. And for what our reason, they're wanting to target tourists, but it seems like
25:47
they're targeting Americans more than they're targeting anybody else because I really, I asked
25:51
them, is anybody else being held on, on these same charges from any other country? And they
25:59
wouldn't answer the question. Well, you don't have to say it, but I'll say it. The word is
26:03
corruption. I do want to ask you a couple more things before we get you out of here.
26:07
So let's talk a little presidential politics. No, I don't really care about Trump's court cases.
26:10
They all seem to be pretty vapid. But the one thing that everyone seems to be waiting on is who he's
26:15
going to pick for VP. So Vegas happens to really like Tim Scott. He's got the Vegas odds. But I've
26:21
heard Ben Carson, JD Vance. I've also heard Rubio and Doug Bergum and Tulsi Gabbard and Elise Sephonic.
26:28
Vivek Ramaswami, Mike Pompeo, Nikki Haley, Christie, the puppy killer. No, I've heard all these other
26:32
different names. And like, again, I don't know that any one of them really add. I don't know that any
26:38
one of them is going to really like put him over the top. But I know you're kind of an insider with
26:42
the Trump team and all that. I know you're not going to break any news here on this podcast. But
26:46
what should we think about his VP pick? Is he just going to maybe go safe with a safe pick that's
26:50
not going to rock the boat? You know, don't don't bring in Sarah Palin part two. Is he just going
26:55
to be some sort of milk, milk toast individual that no one's really worried about? Or is he
26:59
going to put a killer in there? Because people may actually be paying attention to the VP debate,
27:04
because obviously Joe Biden, even if he wins his election, couldn't possibly finish another
27:07
four years, which means President Kamala Harris or pray for us.
27:10
Yeah, so I'll start off by answering that question with this. No one saw Mike Pence as a VP pick.
27:17
No one. So if anybody said they saw Mike Pence, Mike Pence wasn't on a Vegas odds board, no one.
27:24
If anybody saw Mike Pence coming there, I'll say you're a liar. No one saw it. So Trump
27:29
is going to pick his own person first of all. So if you really want to talk about who's being
27:36
talked about in the circle, you know, I was with President Trump last Friday. This conversation
27:42
obviously was main topic. No, I'm not a VP pick. I'm not even in that realm of conversation. So
27:48
I'm not, I'm not that guy. But you know, most people that you name there with the exception of
27:56
two wasn't even in the conversation. I mean, the three people I hear about more than anything
28:03
would be Sarah Huckabee Sanders. And I would hear about Elise Tafonic and Tulsi Gabbard.
28:10
But but everybody else is kind of, you know, if I were to say those would be the three top
28:16
conversations, but that's conversations being talked about in, you know, in his circle and kind
28:22
of how he does it. He'll say, you know, what do you think about this guy? What do you think about
28:27
this person? Tim Scott's a great guy. I actually think he's a wonderful guy. I think he'd be a
28:33
great VP pick. I'm quite frankly, President Trump has never asked me. What do you think about him?
28:38
JD is super smart, super articulate. I have dinner with him probably once a week as there's a group
28:45
of us all that get together. I really enjoy the conversation. JD and I take a different approach
28:50
on several issues, but that doesn't mean anything. I mean, that just means we're two separate people,
28:54
which, you know, you and I are two separate people. But I think he's a very talented,
28:58
very smart man that's got a lot of potential. But President Trump's never asked me about JD.
29:04
What do you think about him? So I don't know if that's good. That's bad or not.
29:10
I'll just go back to the inner circles talking about those three. But no one was talking about
29:16
Mike Pence before the election. So this is what I do know for sure. I do know that President Trump
29:22
has told me that he's going to announce his VP pick at the National Convention.
29:28
That's as much as I know about the insider track. And he actually came out the other day and
29:34
actually said that. So I'm not even going to be insider news at that point.
29:37
We'll just pretend you didn't say that last part. You just broke news here on Undaunted Life
29:43
of Man's podcast. I appreciate you breaking the news that he will be announcing his VP pick at the
29:46
RNC. No one knew that until this exact moment. But one other quick thing I know we're up against time
29:51
here. There's one thing and I know you can't give a full-throated explanation here. But there's
29:55
been something that's been floated by the Biden administration that is very, very concerning to
29:59
a lot of Americans being included. And that's that they are considering relocating Palestinian
30:04
quote unquote refugees here to the United States. Obviously my biggest concern is that population
30:10
elected Hamas. The last election that they had was Hamas. And even if that wasn't enough,
30:16
because you might say, Oh, well, maybe the Hamas people, they just sold them a bill of goods. And
30:19
then, you know, no one could have possibly known. And now they're just, you know, under the, the
30:23
iron fist of this regime. But the majority guys, listen to me, the majority of the people currently
30:30
living in Palestine approved of what happened on October the 7th. If they could go back and do
30:35
it again, they would. No, no, let me correct you on that. They don't live in Palestine. The West Bank,
30:41
the West Bank is controlled by the Palestinian government. Okay, that's over on the Jordanian
30:46
River. The Mediterranean side, which is a very small strip is Gaza, in which and you have Israel
30:53
that runs it runs in the middle of it. So you have the Israeli government, you have the Palestinian
30:58
government, which is that which is the West Bank. And they have Gaza, which all three elected who
31:04
they want to be in control Gaza is the one that elected Hamas. So they're not they're Palestinian
31:10
by tribal birth only. They are not Palestinians because they did not elect. I mean, they're Palestinians
31:16
don't get wrong, but that's not a Palestinian government. They're not rescue. You're not you're
31:20
not relocating those individuals. If they wanted to lead Gaza at any given time, they could have left.
31:27
There wasn't a closed border. This wasn't a ghetto type style where they had a fence around it,
31:32
you're locked off and you're good luck surviving. They had commerce that went in and out of Gaza
31:37
every single day. A lot of people that lived in Gaza worked maybe in the West Bank or worked in
31:43
Israel itself. And so they could have left and relocated at any time if they didn't want to live
31:49
underneath Hamas rule and they could have and they didn't want to live underneath Israel. They
31:53
could have simply drove across the country, which is a very small country. Let's think it may take
31:59
I don't know the exact distance, but maybe 30 miles. It may be five miles. I don't know. I don't
32:05
actually have a measure. I don't have the map in front of me to measure it, but you're not talking
32:08
about a large distance. So when you say across country, it's not like driving across the United
32:12
States. It's not even like driving across Florida or Oklahoma. You're talking about a very small,
32:16
small time. And they could have went and lived in the West Bank underneath Palestinian rules.
32:23
So to relocate these individuals, you're locating 100% individuals that supported Hamas. They 100%
32:33
knew what Hamas was about and they 100% knew that Hamas was building, Hamas was building an
32:40
infrastructure underneath them and what they were doing. They supported that. And Hamas is a
32:46
national recognized or an international recognized terrorist organization. You cannot simply take
32:52
those individuals and put them inside the United States. That is way out of line. That is a huge
32:59
national security risk. Why do you think that Egypt, which is right beside them, right beside
33:06
Rafa is not allowing these Palestinians to come into their country? Why do you think Jordan,
33:11
which is right beside them and 70% of the Jordanians, they're Palestinians too. 70% of the population
33:19
and Jordan are Palestinians. So why do you think they're not wanting them to come into there too?
33:25
Keep in mind, most of these individuals are actually in Kuwait at one time. And during Desert Storm,
33:32
these individuals, I think Gaza, a big chunk of them, their family that was living in Kuwait and
33:38
expelled out of Kuwait, where exiled out of what's the word expelled? Is that what I'm looking for?
33:43
Anyways, their kick out of Kuwait was because when when Saddam Hussein attacked Kuwait,
33:49
these same individuals joined Saddam Hussein to try to overthrow Kuwait. So they kicked him out of
33:55
there too. So these are individuals that are not just okay with being brought in here. They will
34:00
cause all types of problems. They will continue the ideological ideas that they have. That terrorist
34:08
mindset, you're not going to rehabilitate that. So I will fight this tooth in Nell. It is a huge
34:16
national security risk for us to even think about doing this.
34:19
Yeah, it certainly is. I'm glad to hear that you would fight so fervently there because again,
34:25
these Gazaans say they should just go on vacation to Mexico and just walk across the border if they
34:29
really want to get over. So it's not as if that were under lock and key as a country as it pertains
34:33
to that anyway. But again, yes, whenever you see these videos of them bringing hostages
34:38
back to Gaza and the population or in the streets, it's like they just won the World Series. That's
34:43
how they're celebrating. And they have people that have been beheaded. They have women that have been
34:48
so brutally raped that they're they have like feces and blood coming out of the back sides of
34:52
their body and it's soaking their pants. And like, that's what these people were cheering for. And
34:57
again, if we go back to the Hamas charter for the government that these people voted for,
35:01
their number one thing is to eradicate all Jews. And so Israel is just part of that,
35:07
but they want to kill every single Jew on the planet. There just happens to be a high concentration
35:11
of them right next door. So we could talk way more about all of this, but we are completely out of
35:16
time actually went over a little bit. Tell your assistants I love them so that they're not mad at
35:19
me. But is there anything else you want to get off your chest before we get you out of here?
35:22
We're all good, brother. Get the beard strong.
35:24
Okay, we'll see if it's still there next month. All right, see you.
