0:57 This is Undaunted Life. A Man's Podcast. I'm your host Kyle Thompson. Let's get into it.
1:12 Mark Wayne Mone. I do not take kindly to race his comments right before I started recording
1:16 because you knew when I was going to hit the button. I said I needed to tan and you also said
1:20 you couldn't see my muscles, which is just impossible. They're right there. They're right up in your face.
1:25 No, do it again and sit there and hold it and let me see if your audience doesn't agree,
1:28 you need to get a tan. Go on. Ready? Okay. Breathe in. There you go.
1:32 Other arm. Go slow. You're going to go slow. See how white that is, guys?
1:38 That's it doesn't hurt to get a little tan. No, you know what? This is a canvas. This is a canvas,
1:46 you see. And so like if an artist were to paint, they wouldn't want to paint on like tan paper.
1:51 They'd want to paint on, you know, where you could like look through people's arms and see their
1:54 lungs. But you have to wear short sleeve shirts to show it washes. I don't have to show it and
1:58 you can see it. Man, you know what? That's actually true. But you know what? You know what? Enough
2:03 of this, this nonsense. Okay, because I got three things that I want to start off with. Number one,
2:07 Merry Christmas. Number two, you look fantastic in that jacket. But number three, we got drones
2:12 flying all over the United States of America, Mark Wayne Mone. Last night, a buddy of mine
2:16 text me said, Hey, my wife was just on I 35. And there was a rectangular drone literally hovering
2:21 over the highway. And I've heard everything from it's the Iranians. It's the North Koreans. It's
2:26 the Russians. It's the Chinese. I've heard it's our own people from our own country trying to get
2:31 it Trump before he gets into office. I've also heard that we've lost some nuclear materials and
2:34 some toxic materials. And the United States government is desperately trying to find it all.
2:38 So you just go ahead and tell us what in the hell is happening so we can get past this, please.
2:42 Well, one, Merry Christmas. Two. Yes, I look good. I wanted to show the coordination here. This is
2:48 a good one. A brown tie. That's a nice problem. I know. Yeah. And so that's why I have the jacket
2:55 because it's it's unusual for me to actually coordinate like that. The drones. Here's here's
3:01 the deal with the drones. They first of all, no one's going to be flying a drone over 35 and
3:06 thinking they're going to see anything. If they're going to fly a drone over something and want to
3:09 try to get information, it's going to be over tinker. Yeah, or it's going to be over for sale.
3:14 Yeah, it's going to be over Altis or it's going to be over Enid Air Force Base. You have a lot
3:20 of copycats right now. That's that's what's happening. You have a tremendous amount of
3:24 copycats that's taking place, especially in the inner side, inner the inner states, not the
3:32 true states, but the interstate. So Oklahoma, Missouri, Arkansas, you know, Kansas, Nebraska,
3:39 Dakota, Dakota, Colorado, you can even say New Mexico on this one because the coastal is where
3:46 some of this stuff would be coming from. Now, the first reports that start happening in Jersey,
3:50 we haven't got to read out on it yet. I it may be some of it was was just trying to
3:56 I mean, and this is just regulation zero, zero, and tell on this the Biden administration is not
4:04 willing to give us a briefing on it. The Intel community community is not as not briefed us on it.
4:10 This is just my speculation. What might be happening if this were adversaries? These are not UFOs.
4:15 Well, I guess they are on an unidentified flying objects, but not UFOs with an alien driving it.
4:22 These are the these could be could be on the coast. They could be checking our defense systems.
4:27 What are warning systems are? They could be checking our radar systems, how low they had to fly,
4:32 how big of a drone they can come in to get away from it, what it looks like from from all types of
4:37 areas. They could be trying to find out what's standing up how fast we can scramble jets on them.
4:42 They could be doing all that that stuff that we may or may not do to.
4:47 The what you're seeing now, though, is a bunch of copycats out there. This got really cool toys,
4:54 and they're wanting to play with it. It's like having an RC car back when you and I were younger,
4:58 and we would run it down the halls of our schools. I don't know if you ever did that,
5:02 but I might have just for goofing off purposes. So what's happening now is just people are goofing
5:10 off and planned. Okay, so first of all, you lumped us into the same age category, but you're
5:14 way older than me, like way older, like I don't even know how you're able to like operate normally.
5:19 But you look, you look old. I work pretty young for my age. I'm aging like fine wine,
5:25 whereas a lot of men age like milk, and I'm just saying like things are still okay here on this
5:29 side of things. All right, but I just got to say, don't laugh. Don't laugh at that. That's not funny,
5:34 but I do have a serious question because a lot of people are sorry. You made me lose my breath on
5:38 that one and get out of here. No comment. You can take a lot of ways. And then we're saying
5:44 things are still okay down here. I'm just I'm really trying to keep it clean down here in Oklahoma,
5:50 Mark when I was down here in Oklahoma. That was close. That's what I was saying. No, it wasn't
5:54 even close. It was close. Get your mind out of the gutter, but I do got to ask you because some people
5:58 anytime like with the balloon that flew all the way across America that Joe Biden apparently
6:03 didn't feel the need to shoot down until it had gotten past the East Coast of our country,
6:06 everyone's like, well, why can't you just shoot all these things down? That's a fair question,
6:11 although it's like, are you really going to scramble a jet and shoot a million dollar rocket at you
6:16 know, a drone that's like just some kid that is flying a fancy drone that he got for Christmas.
6:20 But at the same time, if they are, if it is a foreign adversary kind of looking at our systems,
6:24 why in the world wouldn't we want that to be shot out of the sky? Well, first of all, what about the
6:29 collateral damage, right? So say you do scramble a jet, say you do shoot a single sky. That was
6:33 one of the issues that they were discussing with the with the with the balloon, but it was over
6:37 Canada. It was over Alaska than Canada and then over the Dakotas. It's very, you know, highly
6:43 unlikely that you're going to have any type of collateral damage, you're not right. But when
6:46 you're on the East Coast, you're going to have a very hard time to shooting that down that debris
6:51 isn't going to hit other structures and cause other problems. So you have to take that into
6:58 consideration. If it's not an actual true threat, if it's not a true threat to the United States,
7:04 you have to take that into consideration of what type of force you're willing to use.
7:08 Second of all, for these people that are shooting at it with a, because you've seen reports people
7:14 shooting at with rifles and stuff, right? Great. Go shoot skeet with the rifle and see how well you
7:21 do. In fact, you just go shoot skeet. I mean, I suck at shooting skeet. You targets, moving targets,
7:27 a little bit different. You put a pistol in my hand, you put a longer in my hand. I'm pretty good.
7:31 It's shooting skeet, man. That's rough. So all these people that are trying to shoot at this,
7:35 you don't even know the distance, you don't know where it's at, and you have no idea how fast it's
7:39 moving. You go ahead and try to do that. It's not easy at all. That's why when you see, you know,
7:46 air defense back in these movies with these 50 cals or plus that are shooting off the ships,
7:53 trying to kill the kamikaze, they were just spraying and praying. It's very, very, very
8:01 difficult to do that. So there's a lot more that goes into it than just saying, shoot them down.
8:07 Now, I will say, I've taken out a drone over my place. I have a drone in my garage as we speak
8:14 that has little BBs all over it. The reason why I shot it is because it was hovering directly
8:19 over my house and it didn't move fast enough. So when I stepped out the porch, it did have a camera
8:23 on it, I shot it, it fell, and I still have it to this day. Hey guys, real quick, as you've heard me
8:29 describe before, I am incredibly conservative about the supplements that I take. I spent years
8:34 being terrified of putting different products in my body because I didn't know what they were made
8:38 with or if it was going to be kind of fly by night companies using all kinds of crazy ingredients.
8:43 So I've always wanted to partner with an American company that only uses the highest quality
8:49 ingredients. And that's why I want to remind you that we are partnered with Jocko Fuel.
8:53 Jocko Fuel is Jocko willing supplement company that is based here in the United States. So
8:57 what are some of my favorite products that they make? So they make whey protein powder and guys,
9:01 they just released a cookies and cream flavor not that long ago and it is ridiculously good.
9:05 Make sure you use it with milk, it makes it even better. They also make clean energy drinks. I
9:09 finally decided what my favorite was and that's pink lemonade. That is my favorite of all their
9:13 flavors. But they also have the best tasting greens powder on the market. I prefer the peach flavor
9:18 myself. They also make pre-workout and ready to drink protein. So I actually mix the ready to
9:23 drink protein in my boy's milk and they love it. They're constantly like dad dab banana milk,
9:27 banana milk. So we got to hook that up in the Thompson household. But I also use their krill oil,
9:32 fish oil, creatine, vitamin D and their sleep aids. And guys, they've got new stuff coming out all
9:37 the time and a bunch of stuff I didn't even have time to mention. Guys, if you take your health and
9:40 wellness seriously, then you simply can't afford to put cheap and inconsistent supplements inside
9:46 of your body. Try origin out today by going to www.jockofield.com. That's jockofield.com. Use
9:53 the promo code undaunted to get 10% off your order. Again, that's jockofield.com promo code undaunted
9:59 to get 10% off your order. So you shot it with like a surface to air missile, right? Like that's
10:04 what you got a little different room in eight 70. Yeah, yeah, love it. Okay, well, all right,
10:10 that's on the, all right, that's on the drone side. So we'll take that. But then the other thing,
10:15 obviously, with your job and with everything you got going on right now, we got Trump's cabinet
10:19 picks. I know you're having a lot of meetings with some of the people that are in there.
10:22 You've been one of the people that have stuck your neck out for Pete Hegsef.
10:26 And you've taken a lot of, you know, shrapnel and you've taken a lot of shots for that.
10:30 Now he seems to be gaining momentum. And then there's obviously, you know, you met recently with
10:35 RFK. Obviously, everyone knows your connection with Tulsi and her family and all those different
10:38 things. Those are the three names that are the most popular ones that are bandied about about
10:43 people like, okay, we're not so sure that these people are going to get through. Can you maybe
10:47 give us an update just on those three and then maybe his picks overall?
10:50 You're going to be hearing Lori's name too. The young lady that's brought up for salutary of labor.
10:56 There's some controversy about her just because of her position with labor. You know, she's great.
11:01 She's going to be fine. All these nominees are going to get through. The only thing that would
11:06 keep them from not is this some if you want to use a political term and October surprise that
11:11 comes out. I don't think you're going to see anything unusual with the background checks.
11:15 I think they're going to be fine. Pete is done a phenomenal job of just taking the fight straight
11:22 to the Senate offices. You know, instead of the media controlling the fight, he has literally went
11:28 into all these senators offices and set there and asked the tough questions. But what do you expect
11:32 from the guy? I mean, the guy's a 20 year veteran, a combat veteran, two bronze stars. He knows how
11:38 to fight. He knows how to dig in. He knows how to hold composure under fire. The guy, the guy has
11:43 done the right things and you sell the momentum switch in one week. We're going to have a hearing
11:51 on him January night. You're going to see the Democrats coming out swinging against him.
11:58 They're going to throw everything in the kitchen sink. What I've explained to him
12:04 is take a deep breath. One of the most important lessons I've learned up here, and obviously I
12:09 haven't always stuck by it because I've had some viral videos. But one of the biggest lessons I've
12:14 learned is to breathe, right? Just if you hear, if your palms start getting sweaty and your ears
12:19 start getting hot, take a deep breath and just keep walking. One of my favorite songs is if you're
12:26 going through hell, keep on walking. You might get out for the devil. You even know you're there
12:29 because that's life in general. And I believe if he comes out of that committee with composure,
12:38 now he's going to take fire. He may get hit with a bullet or two, but it's not going to be lethal.
12:44 If he can come out of there, still walking, he will have his vote to confirm him in the committee
12:51 on the 15th, and then we'll have his vote on the floor or the Senate probably somewhere around the
12:58 21st or 22nd, depending on how long they want to debate him before we can bring it up. I believe
13:04 Pete will be there. Talsy, she's got to go through, ask some questions. She'll be fine.
13:09 Cash Patel is going to be fine. Bobby will be fine. All these individuals American people are going
13:14 to get to know a lot better. Of course, a lot of people know Talsy, right? You already like Talsy.
13:18 A lot of people will know Bobby, but they don't know Bobby like I've had the privilege to get
13:23 to know him. And he's one of the, by the way, you would love talking to him because he's got the
13:27 best Irish jokes with the best accent you can ever man. Hey, let's go. We have spent, we have spent a
13:32 lot of time in the motorcade. I mean, down the motorcade moves, it's about a 45 minute ordeal
13:37 minimum. And we have, we have spent a lot of time in the SUV and those motorcays together. And he
13:41 can just roll him off. And some of them are very funny and appropriate. Some of them are very funny
13:49 and not appropriate. And those are the ones that I care about. Those are the ones that are the most
13:54 fun. So those would be the ones how so you just send him a little note, have him come on the show,
13:58 he could tell one or two jokes and I can ask him one or two questions. It'll, it'll all be good.
14:02 But we're going to shift gears just a little bit. This could be tangentially related to the drone
14:06 stuff. But but not really, I saw reports recently that it was hard to really truly verify because
14:12 who the heck actually really knows. But that the Biden administration had released $10 billion in
14:17 frozen funds to the Iranians. And obviously, we saw similar stuff with the Obama administration,
14:24 except that they I guess their preferred method of transfer was pallets of cash. But we're seeing
14:29 that right now, we're seeing the Biden administration apparently trying to sabotage things at the
14:33 southern border by selling off wall materials is is kind of what we're hearing just to get it out
14:39 there to make the building of the wall and even slower process really to slow the whole thing down.
14:43 Are you seeing some things right now from the Biden administration that can be confirmed? Like,
14:48 yeah, they're they're trying to jack with Trump and, you know, throw a few more punches on their
14:51 way out the door. So there's a 60 day look back for any outgoing administration, incoming administration
14:58 it's law. It's the same thing the Biden administration did when they came into they came into office,
15:03 and they undid everything. President Biden or President Trump did the last 60 days,
15:09 plus overturned the executive orders. And and so anything they do is subject to review
15:16 and can be overturned in a certain amount of days. I think they got like two weeks or something to
15:20 do. I don't know the exact day that they have, but it's a 60 day look back. And so any of this
15:27 stuff can be overturned really easy. Let's talk about the let's talk about the money to Iran.
15:33 That is it's it's not that they are just now releasing it. Some of that has already been released
15:39 over a period of time. Unfortunately, they already had an agreement with them. And I disagree with
15:45 agreement a thousand percent. Trump had them boxed in. Their economy was absolutely in shambles.
15:52 Their their their society was starting to collapse because they're mad at the the terrorist regime
15:58 that runs Iran. And and they were there was a lot of of of of writing and all kinds of stuff that
16:06 was taking place inside Iran. The the the Biden administration is literally made on wealthy. I mean,
16:13 they have money and reserves now with they unfrows a lot of the assets that they had access to the
16:19 10 billion dollars. They unfrows that quite some time ago. They're just finalizing the payments,
16:23 which I think is ridiculous. The question is, is can they get them they can they get them released
16:28 in the right in the in the time that it takes to release that kind of money. I would say that
16:33 they're probably going to be very close about to get that done. I don't think they can. And the
16:37 president can stop it. President Trump can stop it soon. He gets sworn as a 47th president of the
16:42 United States talking about the border. So Congress had already put a stop to this for them selling
16:48 this material for pennies on a dollar. What had happened was is the Trump administration had already
16:53 had a contract with these builders. They made the material and and they already had the contract
17:00 and what wasn't made, they already bought the material to be made. And so the United States was
17:05 still on the hook, even though the even though Biden came in and canceled it, he couldn't cancel
17:09 what they're already obligated for. So a lot of this stuff is so ridiculous. A lot of this stuff
17:15 was was already was already delivered and sold. But as they delivered it, they were turned back
17:21 around and literally given the company the opportunity to buy it back at scrap prices. So what was
17:28 happening is a lot of this, a lot of these companies were delivering the product, putting it on the
17:34 ground, turning around and buying it for scrap and was taking it back off. And the federal government
17:39 had contracts for storage. So a lot of this stuff had where it was being stored on very lucrative
17:46 prices, by the way, for just a lot to store this stuff in. Because the contracts were for so much
17:52 time, the contractor really didn't have to move the product. What's happening now, you're seeing
17:58 the product being moved because they've already purchased off scrap prices. And my assumption
18:05 is I haven't been briefed on this. So this is my assumption. My assumption is they're trying to
18:10 move the product so they can resell it to the incoming administration for full price rather than
18:17 knowing President Trump, who's phenomenal at negotiating deals and negotiating a deal for them
18:22 to sell it at a heavy discounted price. They know either way that the presidents want to buy this
18:27 material back. So that's my assumption. My assumption is they're just getting in a hurry to do it. But
18:31 the sale is taking place taking place two years ago. Okay, good to know. Well, we don't have enough
18:38 time to really get into any of these other subjects because they would take a while. So we're going
18:41 to make that the last question the day. But before you leave, all I need is one compliment. That's
18:46 all I want for Christmas. Like, you were supposed to get me, you know, a mole in ranch hat and bell
18:51 buckle and all the kind of things. And I got nothing to say to anything. I don't got a mug. I don't,
18:56 at this point, you better send me a cowboy hat and a belt buckle and a mole in ranch mug. But
19:01 I'll take a compliment for course. Do this for me. What size are you? I mean, I'm assuming small,
19:07 but what size are you for a vest? Typically, schmedium. No, I'm a large. I'm, you know, I'm a
19:12 normal size guy 510 190. You're not large. That's yeah. All right. So you've seen me in person, son,
19:19 shoot me, shoot me your shoot me your text or shoot me a text and give me address. I will get you a vest
19:26 and a hat shipped to you. So here's my compliment for you. Okay, here's my compliment for you. Now,
19:32 what color do you got? I got a black and navy vest. Okay, black. That's go black. Yeah, let's go.
19:38 And you want a black hat too, right? Yeah, sure. Why not? It goes great.
19:42 Well, I put a great one. If I got a great one, I said you a great one. I'll take it. Yeah, that'll
19:46 work very much. And so here's my compliment for you. Okay. As much as I hate it, your beer does
19:54 look good. Man, see, you know, I don't Hey, there's beer shampoo, beard oil. And that's all you got
20:01 to do. It's not like this whole long process. I don't don't do that. I just I refuse to do this.
20:05 I put in cream rinse my hair. You probably put cream rinse in your hair, don't you?
20:07 I put what in my hair? Like conditioner. No, don't do that. Sorry. I just got this natural flow.
20:15 Anyway, this is just how it goes. It's just how we got product in it. I just saw it. You have
20:19 product in that hair. But it's not conditioner. It's just like a little stuff like you see that
20:23 that you put on the putty. Get it. What is going on? How are thy brother or whatever that is?
20:29 Oh, uh, oh, uh, yo, something where are there? Oh, brother, we're out there brother. Yeah,
20:36 something like that. So you got that you got your kid. You got a canful of that stuff. Yeah,
20:40 so it's not the it's not the pomade, right? That gives you the slick look. It's kind of like more
20:44 of a mat pomade. So I'll send you some. So you send me the best. Anyway, the whole conditioning
20:50 beard thing, I know guys are into that. I'm just not, you know, I just cut it off. I mean,
20:54 then I'll let it grow back and then recut it. Well, it's a pillow for my face tonight, actually.
20:58 Okay. Well, hey, you know what, before the inauguration, I think you should go like
21:02 mutton chops. So just like cut it off and just like, I think that'd be a good look, you know,
21:07 for you. It'd probably make some headlines all about it. Okay. All right, man, we'll talk again soon.
