This is Undaunted Life of Man's Podcast.
1:22
I'm your host Kyle Thompson.
1:24
Let's get into it.
1:25
For this reason, God gave them up to dishonorable passions.
1:28
For their women exchanged natural relations for those that are contrary to nature, and
1:31
then likewise gave up natural relations with women and were consumed with passion for one
1:36
another.
1:37
Men committing shameless acts with men and receiving in themselves the due penalty for
1:41
their heir.
1:42
That is Romans 1, 26 through 27 kind of an ominous star, but don't worry at all, it all
1:45
makes sense.
1:46
Guys, just one of the things I want to tell you right from the beginning is, don't forget
1:49
about the Daily Blade.
1:50
Some of you are like, "What's the Daily Blade?"
1:52
You should know about it, guys, that is the podcast that Joe B and I have put together
1:56
for you guys.
1:57
It is a Monday through Friday daily podcast.
1:59
It is five minutes and it's men's devotional, but don't think of it like devotional that
2:03
you've normally heard of that are real breathy and kind of lame.
2:06
This is like locker room style.
2:08
This is safety meeting at a worksite or something like that where we all kind of basically have
2:13
the truck bed meeting and do all that.
2:16
It's five minutes of Bible.
2:17
We get it into your ears every single morning and then send you on about your day.
2:21
If you are not subscribed to the Daily Blade, please go ahead and do that.
2:24
Guys, I just got to tell you a little peek behind the curtain.
2:26
We lost at January the 1st and within the first few months, it was already bigger than
2:31
"Undone a life of man's podcast" and it's been around forever.
2:35
It has just been such a tremendous blessing to dudes.
2:37
The number of people that reach out to Joe B's team or reach out to me here and let us
2:41
know how the Daily Blade has been a benefit to them, has given them hunger for the Bible,
2:45
has been tremendous for me personally, doing the episodes.
2:49
I have every other week or whatever.
2:51
It's keep me in the words, keep me thinking about how the word can be delivered to you
2:55
guys.
2:56
The Daily Blade, you can check out thedailyblade.com or wherever you get your podcasts.
2:59
As always, we're thankful for all of our donors on Daunton.life/donate.
3:03
We love our monthly donors and the guys are dropping to give us one-time donations.
3:06
It's a huge, huge help to us here.
3:08
Also, if you have enough left a review or shared this podcast with a friend, please go
3:12
ahead and do that.
3:13
Before we get into today's episode, I was talking, I need to make a quick correction.
3:19
The last time I did a solo episode, I don't know if it was last week or the week before
3:22
that, I was talking about the Supreme Court decision.
3:25
I was talking about several Supreme Court decisions.
3:27
I gave the wrong name for one of the six, three decisions that would allow parents to
3:31
opt their children out of the LGBTQ+ propaganda in schools or whatever.
3:36
I said for whatever reason, Carson V. Macon, which was a case for 2022, so from a few
3:41
years ago, but before I even released the episode, I realized it, but I couldn't go back and
3:46
change it.
3:47
It's just what it is.
3:48
I'm correcting it now.
3:49
The name of the case was Mahmoud V. Taylor.
3:51
Mahmoud V. Taylor.
3:52
There you go.
3:53
Sometimes I misspeak or put things wrong in my notes and whatever.
3:57
By the way, I had a couple of guys online that were really unhappy with something that
4:03
I said during the J.T. English interview.
4:05
During the J.T.
4:06
English interview, I was going off on my normal rant about how modern day churches and modern
4:10
day pastors typically don't give guys a whole lot of tools to be good disciples, to be heads
4:15
of their households, all those different things.
4:17
I said something along the lines of what I was talking about was people think that Jesus
4:23
never made anyone mad.
4:25
He never ruffled any feathers that he would just like this go along to get a long guy.
4:28
But the way I said it was kind of imprecise.
4:30
I was like, "Yeah, people act like Jesus never did anything wrong."
4:34
That type of thing.
4:35
Some people were like, "Is Kyle saying that Jesus was a sinner?"
4:40
It's like, "No."
4:41
To those of you out there that love to pick apart individual words or individual phrases,
4:47
is that people that do what I do for a living, we are content creators and we speak off the
4:51
cuff for a living.
4:53
I've got a lot of grace for content creators that literally misspeak because if you listen
4:58
to the entire context, 45 seconds before that statement and the 45 seconds after that statement,
5:03
you would obviously surmise that I was talking about how I was saying that there are people
5:07
that think that Jesus was just this wispy-haired guy that never made anyone mad and never got
5:11
anyone all ruffled up or those types of things.
5:14
Use your brains when you're listening, sometimes I misspeak, "Hey, if you listen to the last,
5:19
what are we at?"
5:20
Episode 780 something.
5:21
Like guys, I've misspoken a lot and I'll go back and I'll be like, "Oh, why did I say
5:25
that?"
5:26
But just give me the benefit of the doubt if you would.
5:27
And also, I mentioned all these Supreme Court cases and I totally forgot to mention another
5:33
very, very important court case that as soon as I released the episode, I'm like, "You
5:36
do this."
5:37
Like why didn't you mention this one?
5:38
I didn't mention the 6-3 decision in Medina, Director of South Carolina Department of Health
5:42
and Human Services versus Planned Parenthood South Atlantic.
5:46
In this case, essentially gives the state of South Carolina the right to block taxpayer
5:50
dollars from funding the number one baby murder company in the United States and that's Planned
5:54
Parenthood.
5:55
And so that is going to dovetail into a lot of different things, even on this podcast.
6:01
But essentially, this is paving the way for states like South Carolina or like Oklahoma
6:06
or like Tennessee or Texas or any of these states that don't really like this whole baby
6:10
murder thing from completely defunding Planned Parenthood.
6:13
Because again, Planned Parenthood will say, "Oh, well, abortion is just a part of our
6:16
business and it's just a part of women's healthcare and all these different things."
6:19
No, they are a baby sacrifice facility.
6:22
That's what they do.
6:24
They allow women and men that love to sire children but not father them to come in and
6:30
sacrifice their children on the altar of convenience, which is the overwhelming majority of abortion
6:34
cases don't let them affect you with the hard cases.
6:38
There are explanations for those as well.
6:41
But I do love the decision, obviously.
6:44
Thank God for the current makeup of the Supreme Court where you have five solid conservatives,
6:49
one squishy conservative and then three insane people.
6:52
But just thank goodness that we got a decision like that.
6:55
So today in the quick hitters, we're going to be covering a lot of ground.
6:58
So Chip and Joanne and Gaines selling out to the LGBTQ agenda, yep, that happened.
7:03
The tragic floods in Kerr County, Texas, former President Joe Biden's doctor pleading
7:07
the fifth when asked if he covered up Biden's bad mental and physical health, Planned Parenthood
7:12
losing funding from the federal government for one year.
7:15
The University of Pennsylvania stripping male swimmer Leah Thomas's trophies and medals
7:18
and issuing a formal, formal apology for letting him compete in women's swimming events and
7:23
a one year old baby being mauled to death by the family dog.
7:26
I bet you can't guess what breed that is.
7:28
But before I get into this, so I'm recording this on Monday.
7:32
You guys are most of the viewers seeing this on Thursday.
7:35
So in the interim, we might lose John MacArthur, okay?
7:39
So it was announced yesterday during their church service, John MacArthur, who is very,
7:45
you know, advanced in age, that he has contracted pneumonia and he is not expected to make it.
7:50
So the doctors basically have told him and his family, let's get your affairs in order,
7:56
you know, that you are going to succumb to this.
7:58
So by the time you guys hear this, he may have passed.
8:01
He may not have passed again, this is on Monday, you're hearing this on Thursday.
8:06
But I didn't want, you know, if he passed in the next couple of days and then I don't
8:09
mention it on Thursday, but when he does a pass and if he does pass, we will, we will
8:15
do a full rundown of him and how important he was.
8:19
But I just want to say that he's been very, very important to me.
8:22
His Bible studies have been very important to me.
8:24
And again, I've, I've not agreed with everything that he's ever said or everything that he's
8:27
ever preached, but he's been such a stalwart as it pertains to biblical doctrine.
8:34
And you know, just the number of people that I know and like and support and learn from
8:41
that know, like, support and have learned from John MacArthur is substantial.
8:44
So if he has passed, may he rest in peace, he is going to be resting in glory.
8:49
I think, you know, it's funny, I say the joke all the time, like no one's less assured
8:53
of their salvation than after they listen to a John MacArthur sermon about the assurance
8:57
of salvation.
8:58
So even by John MacArthur standards, I don't know that John MacArthur's fruit is sweet
9:02
enough.
9:03
But I think for the rest of us, I think it's, it's pretty assured where he is going to be
9:07
spending eternity.
9:08
And I think it's going to be a good place.
9:09
So we need to move on and talk a little bit about Baylor University.
9:13
So I was doing what I normally do.
9:16
I'm kind of scrolling social media looking for news and different things to talk about.
9:20
And I see a screenshot of an article from pink news.com.
9:25
So pink news is an LGBTQ news, you know, propaganda outlet from the UK.
9:30
And the headline, this is a couple weeks ago, was Baylor University receives $643,000 grant
9:36
to study and foster LGBTQ plus inclusion.
9:41
Now that was a surprising headline because Baylor is a private Christian university, Baptist
9:46
University in Texas.
9:48
Why is the UK reporting on this?
9:50
You know, what, why, they, they applied for a grant.
9:52
Wait, wait, they got a grant for, for what?
9:55
And so I sent it to my buddy, Adam.
9:57
So one of my foxhole guys, you've seen him on the forging table as well.
10:00
He's a big Baylor guy, him and his bride, both, I think they met here and then both went
10:04
to Baylor or they met a Baylor or something like that.
10:07
And so I sent this to him and like, cause again, it's a screenshot of an article.
10:11
So is it AI?
10:12
Does somebody make it?
10:13
Was it a meme?
10:14
And his immediate response back to me was, man, I hope that's not true.
10:19
So I go to pink news, I go to their website and I find the Baylor article and then I send
10:23
it to him.
10:24
Apparently it was legit.
10:26
And so Adam is deeply connected at BU to that whole community, right?
10:32
And basically he started getting to work like he was trying to figure out, okay, where did
10:37
this come from?
10:38
Who applied for it?
10:40
Which department?
10:41
Okay.
10:42
How, how did they get it?
10:43
How did they determine the number that was given?
10:44
All the things.
10:45
And basically he kept giving me updates every couple of days like, dude, there's a growing
10:50
groundswell here of people that are absolutely furious.
10:54
There are people that have scholarships in their names and in family names that are calling
10:58
the foundation office and saying, pull our scholarships.
11:01
We're not going to be supporting the university more.
11:04
There were a lot of big donors that were kind of flexing, you know, talking to department
11:08
heads, talking to the president, really kind of giving them, giving them the business for
11:12
doing this.
11:13
And then there was also kind of a various thing.
11:16
It was released on like a day or two before the long July 4th weekend.
11:21
And so like if you want to, if you want a new story to be buried, you release it on Friday
11:24
afternoon, right?
11:25
Because by the time the Monday morning news cycle starts, that story's, you know, long
11:29
since been buried.
11:30
So it seems like they, they wanted to celebrate it, but not like too loud.
11:35
And so Baylor may have wanted this to go under the radar, but that did not happen at all.
11:40
So for some of you, even if you live here in America, you may not be super familiar with
11:44
Baylor University.
11:45
So just basic information found that in 1845, originally it was an independent sexist and
11:50
then it moved to Waco in 1886, where it still is today, is founded by Baptist pioneers judge
11:55
R. E. B. Baylor, Reverend James Huckins and Reverend William Tyran.
12:00
And so it's actually the oldest continually operating university in Texas.
12:04
So very, very deep roots and commitment to the Baptist tradition.
12:08
It's been affiliated, I think since the beginning with the Baptist Journal Convention of Texas
12:12
and is still affiliated with that till this day, again, private university, it's a major
12:17
research university.
12:18
Yes, they do have PhDs, depending on the year, we're talking 18,000 to 20,000 students.
12:23
So as a private Baptist Christian university, you would expect them as a university to
12:29
be pretty clear on biblical doctrine, you know, orthodoxy or the proxy.
12:33
But let's just say it's been kind of checkered over the past decade or so.
12:37
There's many of you have heard some of these stories, but back in 2015 through 2017, there
12:42
was this huge sexual misconduct scandal concerning their football players.
12:46
It was a really big deal.
12:48
It led to the resignation of president, the president of the university, Ken Starr, head
12:51
football coach at the time, Art Briles, who was basically the best football coach that
12:55
university has ever had in the athletic director, Ian McCall.
13:00
And then in 2015, they actually removed language from the sexual conduct policy in their student
13:05
handbook that said homosexual behavior is not in keeping with the university's values.
13:10
Okay, that is the quote that they removed.
13:12
Homosexual behavior is not in keeping with the university's values.
13:16
And they removed homosexual acts, okay, as listed misconduct, okay, who knows why they
13:23
did that, but that's something that in their infinite wisdom they decided to do about a
13:26
decade ago.
13:27
But then there were a couple of controversies, which I believe led to the big story that
13:32
we're going to talk about today.
13:33
So one of them, we have this LGBTQ plus students at Baylor were seeking out official recognition
13:40
for one of their student groups.
13:42
It was called gamma alpha epsilon that's spells gay in that alphabet, which advocates for inclusion
13:48
and support.
13:49
Okay.
13:50
So Baylor repeatedly denied recognition of the student organization citing its Christian
13:54
sexual ethics, which affirm marriage as between one man and one woman.
13:58
Other than in 2021, Baylor's board of Regents acknowledged the need to care for LGBTQ plus
14:04
students, but still did not officially recognize such groups as, you know, chartered student
14:09
organizations.
14:10
So, you know, LGBTQ plus advocates from, you know, all over the place and some alumni
14:14
criticize university for not affirming or supporting sexual diversity on campus.
14:18
But on the other hand, many conservative alumni and donors, they praise the administration
14:22
for basically holding the biblical line.
14:25
But then in 2022, Baylor officially recognized its first LGBTQ plus student organization.
14:31
It's called prism.
14:32
So the name prism signifies refracting light and colors and so symbolic of the diversity
14:37
and inclusion of Baylor's, you know, Christian mission, you know, within Baylor's Christian
14:40
mission, I guess you could say, and reportedly the university as a whole affirms biblical
14:46
sexuality, but their counselors that are on campus are actually prohibited from telling
14:51
students that, you know, think they're LGBTQ, that they're sin, they're sinning, right?
14:57
That they need to repent that they need to change.
15:00
Okay.
15:01
So that's, that's kind of the baseline in the background there.
15:03
Sorry, quick sip of jocko go by the way, nitropop, jocko go dude, like, I know I've
15:11
talked about the pink lemonade and the icy lemonade for forever.
15:13
That might be the gold flavor.
15:15
So that's our newest flavor.
15:16
Check that out promo code on Don it so you can get a discount, but now that gets to
15:20
July the 2nd, okay?
15:22
So I'm going to have to read from the pink news article because Baylor actually deleted
15:26
their original press release about them getting the grant.
15:28
I was just going to read that.
15:29
So this is according to pink news.
15:31
I think that's the first shout out for pink news on this podcast.
15:34
So according to pink news on July the 2nd, the private Baptist research university with
15:38
a mission quote to educate men and women for worldwide leadership and service by integrating
15:42
academic excellence and Christian commitment within a caring community.
15:45
End quote has been given a grant to foster LGBTQ plus inclusion on the 30th of June.
15:50
The university shared that the center for church and community impact C three one has
15:55
been awarded a grant from the Yula May and john baugh foundation quote to foster inclusion
16:00
and belonging in the church unquote with an emphasis on understanding quote the disenfranchisement
16:05
and exclusion of LGBT QIA plus individuals and women within congregations to nurture
16:12
institutional courage and foster change unquote.
16:15
As reported by good faith media, the center for church and community impact is a research
16:19
center house in Baylor's Diana, our Garland school of social work.
16:23
C three I or C three one director, Dr Gaynor Gancy said, the grant will focus on the lived
16:29
experiences of emerging adults and will assist us in filling out the bigger picture of congregations
16:33
practices that result in an environment of belonging.
16:37
The grant will enable the formation of focus groups and surveys of students in the bid
16:41
to develop trauma sensitive training materials for churches for churches.
16:45
So essentially, they got a large grant to do a study so that they could conclude that,
16:53
yeah, you know, performing homosexual acts and going against God's creation of man and
16:57
woman is actually not sent.
16:59
Okay.
17:00
So that that's what all that is.
17:01
This is a lot of money to create these groups where we already know what the conclusion is
17:05
going to be.
17:06
Yeah.
17:07
Yeah.
17:08
Yeah.
17:09
And I believe the words that are in there and think it's the word of God.
17:12
You don't know.
17:13
We know.
17:14
Why?
17:15
Because we have a degree in social work or something like that.
17:18
And so the excitement from the LGBTQ plus people, you know, around the globe from this
17:23
story, like you should see some of the comments, like just gushing.
17:27
They're so excited about this and for a lot of, a lot of reasons, right?
17:30
Because they're kind of infiltrating a Christian organization or Christian university.
17:35
And then obviously predictably, there was outrage from actual Christians, actual Christians
17:40
who are BU students and alumni, you know, interested observers like me from around the
17:44
globe.
17:45
I mean, here's the thing.
17:46
Folks on the family might be the most milk toast like vanilla Christian organization on
17:49
the planet.
17:50
Like let's just be right down the center.
17:52
Even they came out and was, was given, you know, Baylor crap publicly.
17:58
And I mean, if folks on the family is, you know, railing you publicly, you kind of know
18:02
you don't messed up, but there was a big time behind the scenes, groundswell of negativity
18:09
from the BU community, which I've already talked about people making phone calls, people
18:12
threatening to pull funding, people actually pulling funding.
18:15
And so this was, you know, something that Baylor thought would just kind of hit the headlines
18:19
and go away.
18:20
It just wasn't going away.
18:21
So then on July the ninth, we got this press release from the BU president, Dr. Linda
18:25
Livingstone.
18:26
So I'm actually going to read this in its entirety.
18:28
So this is the entire letter.
18:29
I think I put it in the show notes as well.
18:30
So here we go, dear Baylor family, I want to provide an important update regarding a
18:34
recent matter involving a grant awarded to the center for church and community impact
18:38
within the Diana R. Garland school of social work.
18:41
This grant reported the center's academic research aimed at exploring inclusion and belonging
18:46
in the church with a particular focus on LGBTQIA plus individuals in congregational settings.
18:52
Dean John Singletary and principal investigator, John or Dr. Gaynor Yancy have voluntarily
18:57
offered to rescind their acceptance of this grant on behalf of the school of social work
19:02
and return all associated funds to the granting foundation.
19:05
Provost Nancy Brickhouse and I support this decision and agree this is an appropriate
19:08
course of action and in the best interest of Baylor University.
19:12
We remain committed to providing a loving and caring community for all, including our LGBTQIA
19:16
plus students because it is part and parcel of our university's mission that calls us
19:20
to educate our students with a caring Christian community.
19:24
Baylor also continues to strongly uphold the principle of academic freedom.
19:27
As we review the details and process surrounding this grant, our concerns did not center on
19:31
the research itself, but rather on the activities that followed as part of the grant, specifically
19:37
the work extended into advocacy for perspectives on human sexuality that are inconsistent with
19:42
Baylor's institutional policies, including our statement on human sexuality.
19:46
Please be assured that Baylor's institutional beliefs and policies remain unchanged.
19:50
Our commitment to our Christian mission and our historic Baptist identity continues to
19:53
guide our approach to academic, student life and spiritual formation.
19:57
We affirm the biblical understanding of human sexuality as a gift from God, expressed through
20:01
purity and singleness and fidelity and marriage between a man and a woman.
20:05
We recognize that this situation has caused concern and confusion for many within the
20:09
Baylor family and among our broader community of churches, partner organizations and supporters.
20:13
This has been a learning opportunity for many of all, I love when people say that, it's
20:16
just so stupid to me.
20:17
Anyway, this has been a learning opportunity for many involved in this situation as if
20:21
they didn't know what was going to happen.
20:22
We aim to work alongside our college and school leaders, faculty and research community, particularly
20:27
during these challenging times for higher education.
20:29
Baylor, there's a shot of Trump, by the way, Baylor remains deeply committed in its unique
20:34
role as a Christian research university, one that encourages rigorous inquiry and thoughtful
20:38
exploration of complex issues.
20:40
We will continue to support our faculty and researchers in pursuit of meaningful scholarship
20:44
while ensuring that such work aligns with our institutional processes.
20:47
I hope this communication provides clarity into what had been a difficult week for many
20:51
within the Baylor family.
20:52
Thank you for your prayers and continued support for Baylor University sincerely.
20:56
Linda A. Livingston, PhD, president.
20:58
Here's what I can surmise in this response to this statement, it's very well written,
21:05
well written.
21:06
Apparently not well spoken.
21:07
Here we go, Kyle.
21:08
Very well written, so they had a nice PR firm right there for them, but not good enough.
21:16
This is obviously not good enough to make people feel confident in the long term commitment
21:20
of Baylor to biblical values.
21:24
It's here's the thing, well, it will actually move on from that.
21:29
Their words and actions don't match up, okay?
21:33
Because you can't truly be committed to a biblical stance on marriage and sexuality.
21:38
Why simultaneously accepting a grant, essentially aiming to say that sin is in fact not sin,
21:47
because that's the entire thing.
21:48
Do you honestly think the people at Baylor, the people that applied for this had no idea
21:53
what was going on within the church has it pertains to LGBTQ plus people, or as I say,
21:57
LGBTQ, IA plus, plus, plus, plus, plus people, you think they had no clue?
22:02
I mean, rescinding the acceptance of this grant, it's too little, too late because here's
22:08
the thing, you already applied for the grant in the first place, which is terrible and
22:14
telling.
22:16
You already accepted the grant, which is terrible and telling.
22:20
But you know what's funny about this, and I was telling this to Adam, at this point,
22:25
they should have just put on their helmets, batten down the hatchets, and let all this
22:29
kind of like blow over and then just kept the money, right?
22:33
Now, they probably would have lost more in funding from private donors and different
22:37
things like that than they would have got from the 634,000 or whatever that they got
22:41
in the grant.
22:42
But why give back the money now?
22:44
It's kind of like when people delete that social media post, right, so they post something
22:48
on Twitter or they post something on Instagram and then they delete it, deleting it actually
22:52
brings more attention to it because it's kind of like the original press release that Baylor
22:57
deleted right now.
22:59
So you go there and the URL doesn't work anymore.
23:02
That's worse because I can still go find it, right?
23:05
I can find the original text.
23:06
I know what it says, but now it's like, okay, you're trying to hide it, but it's like an
23:10
elephant trying to hide behind a light pole, right?
23:13
It's just like, okay, you're right there, like I can see you.
23:16
And President Livingstone, here's the thing.
23:19
Was there any repentance in that letter?
23:24
Was there?
23:25
No, there was no repentance.
23:28
There was no acknowledgement that they had done anything wrong.
23:31
That's very important.
23:32
There was no acknowledgement that we didn't live up to our standards that we had set.
23:37
She just felt too much heat because as a president of university, if the money stops
23:41
coming in, you're out, right?
23:43
I mean, they already lost the president of the university because of the cover up they
23:47
were trying to do to make sure their football team could stay active and do well in the
23:52
big 12.
23:53
So you lose your president for something like that.
23:55
If you lose millions of dollars from donors, it's not the foundation director that's going
23:59
to get fired.
24:00
It's you.
24:01
President Livingstone's head was on the chopping block.
24:04
So she felt the heat.
24:05
She thought, okay, we're going to lose more money than we're going to gain from this
24:09
grant.
24:10
We're taking the PR hit, but let's just kind of mitigate the circumstances, as you know,
24:15
deal with the losses that we have.
24:17
And then let's just, you know, let's just back out here, but she didn't repent, right?
24:21
She didn't say we should have never done this because here's the thing.
24:26
She probably didn't know about this.
24:27
She may have, but this was probably just something the people in the school social work were
24:31
doing.
24:32
The president isn't looking at every single grant that's being applied for probably.
24:37
They apply for grants all the time.
24:39
But she only did this because she felt the heat.
24:42
So at this point, there's been a lot of think pieces and podcasts and social posts about
24:45
the situation and trying to look at it from all kinds of perspectives.
24:48
So you have to think, like, is this a story that's an example of institutional rot?
24:53
Yes, it certainly is.
24:56
Is this another argument that just shows that higher education for most kids is a farce
25:01
and a complete waste of time and money?
25:04
Because you're just essentially sending your kids to a place that's just going to help
25:08
them become, you know, good gay communist.
25:10
But yeah, I think this is another story.
25:12
That's an example of that.
25:13
Is this an example of a university having, you know, a bad checks and balances system,
25:18
right?
25:19
I kind of just talked about that and then operating in a way that violates even basic
25:23
crisis PR.
25:24
Yes, I think it's an example of that.
25:26
But above all those things, above all those things, this situation is about two things,
25:31
okay?
25:32
Number one, the leftist progressivism, trying to infiltrate and change Christianity from
25:38
the inside out.
25:40
And secondly, intellectual and moral superiority, essentially Baylor University thinking that
25:46
they know how to love people better than God does.
25:48
Okay.
25:49
So let's look at each one of those individually.
25:51
Number one, leftist progressivism, trying to infiltrate and change Christianity from
25:54
the inside out.
25:55
So Megan Basham has done a ton of work on this.
25:58
She's been at the tip of the spear, especially with the writing of Shepherds for sale.
26:01
We had her own last year to talk about that and she's just kind of kept up her work there.
26:05
She has a great thread on Twitter that I'll summarize and I'll put in the show notes for
26:08
you.
26:09
But according to Megan Basham, you know, this is a quote that she put out there.
26:13
When she lived in DC, Baylor president Linda Livingstone, herself attended a church password
26:17
by Julie Pennington Russell, who has been full LGBTQ affirming since 2014.
26:23
Further, in Waco, Livingston has said she attends Calvary Baptist Church in 2022 in a sermon
26:28
in response to the overturning of Roe v Wade, Reverend Hannah Ko, the senior pastor at that
26:33
church, of course, claimed that the targeting of LGBTQ teenagers is an example of life threatening
26:39
consequences of political and religious action.
26:42
Ko is now an associate pastor at an openly LGBTQ affirming church.
26:46
So bad luck for the president there.
26:48
And as the Christian Post reported today, Professor Greg Garrett, chair of literature and culture
26:52
has transparently announced that he is not in alignment with the school's statement on
26:57
marriage and sexuality, but is LGBTQ affirming?
27:02
Last year, he accused author JK Rowling of having a hatred of trans people.
27:06
Two faculty members also told me that John Singletary, Dean of the School of Social Work,
27:10
which accepted the LGBTQ grant, is also quietly confirming.
27:14
Singletary is also a member of Livingston's church, has brought in gay speakers just like
27:19
Justin Lee, whose work is dedicated to changing church doctrine to no longer view homosexuality
27:25
as a sin.
27:26
In 2019, Livingston, especially singled out LGBTQ students as an eating the school's
27:30
support.
27:31
In 2022, Livingston allowed the campus LGBTQ club to march in full pride gear in the school's
27:37
homecoming parade.
27:38
In 2024, a faculty member reported to me that during the school's Beal Poetry Festival,
27:44
gay poet Ruben Cassata, almost said quesadilla, sorry, Ruben Cassata gave a reading that included
27:51
a description of oral sex between two men.
27:54
So that's all they're reporting from Megan Basham there, so that should give you a little
27:58
bit more insight into what's going on on that campus.
28:01
But another thing that she reported that was very, very problematic is that Baylor does
28:07
not require a statement of faith to be signed by its faculty and staff.
28:13
So they don't require their faculty and staff to even write on a piece of paper that they
28:18
actually are believers in Christianity that they believe in the gospel, that they believe
28:25
in the Bible, that they believe in biblical doctrine, that they believe the Bible has
28:29
authority, right?
28:31
They don't require that, which should be very, very concerning to you.
28:35
And then the great Ally Best Stucky, she's done quite a bit of work in this space as well.
28:39
So she actually had a thread on her Instagram.
28:40
I'll read a couple of posts from her Instagram here.
28:43
First, the recent grant, Baylor's Diana R. Garland School of Social Work applied for
28:47
and accepted the $643,000 grant from the BAW Foundation, which funds projects to organizations
28:54
that seek to liberalize Christian institutions.
28:56
A little bit later in the thread, this isn't the first time Baylor's taken far left BAW
29:01
money.
29:02
In 2018, for example, BU accepted a grant for a guide to navigate decisions to be more inclusive
29:07
in their practices and policies specific to LGBTQ+ persons.
29:12
In 2024, the BAW Foundation funded the Building Resilient Congregations Research Pilot Project,
29:18
where Yancey and her team worked with selected congregations in three distinct areas, accompaniment,
29:24
trauma care, and LGBTQ+ discernment.
29:27
Okay?
29:28
So that's number one.
29:29
Number two is intellectual and moral superiority.
29:32
This is essentially Baylor thinking that they're in a position where they know how to
29:36
love people better than God does.
29:38
So they're making a habit of ignoring what the Bible says about culturally controversial
29:45
topics.
29:46
Okay?
29:47
That's what Baylor's in a habit of.
29:48
And they're not the only university and organization that does this, does this, but they're certainly
29:52
in a habit of just kind of ignoring what the Bible has to say about homosexuality.
29:56
So let's just go ahead and talk about it.
29:58
So in Genesis 19.5, this is Sodom and Gomorrah, and they called a lot, "Where are the men
30:04
who came to you by, came to you tonight, bring them out to us that we may know them."
30:09
Right?
30:10
So that we may sodomize them.
30:12
And then I think there was a fairly loud destruction of Sodom and Gomorrah, like maybe someone should
30:16
tell J.D. Greer.
30:17
I don't think the Bible just whispers about things like this.
30:20
I think it's pretty loud about it.
30:21
Then we have in Leviticus 1822, "You shall not lie with a man as with a woman.
30:26
It is an abomination."
30:27
Leviticus 2013, "If a man lies with a male as with a woman, both of them have committed
30:32
an abomination.
30:34
They shall surely be put to death.
30:36
Their blood is upon them."
30:37
And so that's the angry Old Testament, God, right?
30:39
So now let's actually get to the New Testament.
30:41
So Romans 1, 26, and 27, "For this reason God gave them up to dishonorable passions, for
30:46
their women exchange natural relations for those that are contrary to nature.
30:49
And the men likewise gave up natural relations with women, and were consumed with passion
30:53
for one another.
30:54
Men committing shameless acts with men and receiving in themselves a due penalty for their
30:57
heir."
30:58
That's the same scripture I read from the beginning.
31:01
Then we have 1 Corinthians 6, 9-10, this is the Apostle Paul, "Or do you not know that
31:05
the unrighteous will not inherit the kingdom of God?
31:08
Do not be deceived, neither the sexually immoral, nor idolatrous, nor adulterers, nor men who
31:13
practice homosexuality, nor thieves, nor the greedy, nor drunkards, nor revilers, nor swindlers,
31:18
will inherit the kingdom of God."
31:21
1 Timothy 1, 9-10, "Understanding this, that the law is not laid down for those just for
31:26
the lawless and disobedient, for the ungodly and sinners, for the unholy and profane, for
31:31
those who strike their fathers and mothers, for murderers, the sexually immoral, men
31:35
who practice homosexuality, enslavers, liars, purgers, and whatever else is contrary to
31:40
sound doctrine."
31:41
1 June 1, 7, "Just as Sodom and Gomorrah and the surrounding cities, which likewise indulged
31:46
in sexual immorality and pursued unnatural desire, serve as an example by undergoing a
31:51
punishment of eternal life."
31:53
And then there's a scripture I need to share with you.
31:55
It's kind of the ultimate example for all you red-letter Christians that are like, "Okay,
31:58
if it's not in the red letters, it's not by God, even though if you believe in the Trinity,
32:02
then every single one of the letters is read."
32:05
So Jesus is recorded as saying this in Matthew 15, 19 through 20, "For out of the hard come
32:10
evil thoughts, murder, adultery, sexual immorality, theft, false witness, slander.
32:17
These are what defile a person, but to eat with unwashed hands does not defile anyone."
32:21
So sexual immorality there, that's the word pornea, right, that's where we get the word
32:25
for porn, and everyone would have known when this was written down, right, so in the Hebrew
32:31
or the Greek or the Aramaic, they would have known what Jesus was talking about.
32:35
He didn't need to explicitly make a list because he said it's sexual immorality.
32:39
That would have been sex, any sex, whatsoever, outside of one man and one woman inside the
32:45
covenant of marriage for life.
32:47
So that includes adultery, which is already in the list, but that would have included
32:50
homosexuality, would have included bestiality, it would have included polyamory, it would
32:55
have included all of that.
32:58
So what are we to make of a story like this as we summarize the situation that's happening
33:03
at Baylor?
33:04
Number one, Baylor, including the president and the faculty, honest to goodness, thought
33:11
that this was a good idea and that it wasn't going to be a big deal.
33:14
And that's telling because these people live in such an intellectual bubble, it's an intellectually
33:21
dishonest bubble where they're never challenged on their positions.
33:26
They all believe the same way.
33:27
Some are very fervent and vocal about it.
33:29
Others are fairly quiet about it, but they literally thought that this was a good idea.
33:35
Like think about it for all of you out there with little kids, which is most of you.
33:39
When you're talking to your kid that's just broken something or just done something bad
33:43
and you're getting them to explain to you why they did it and you may even ask this out
33:47
loud.
33:48
It's like, wait, wait, wait.
33:49
You thought that was a good idea?
33:51
Like at what point did you realize that wasn't a good idea?
33:55
And for them, they were just in complete shock that all these bigoted, terrible, conservative
34:00
Christians would be so meanie-mean pants to them after they accepted this grant.
34:05
Number two, even if you fired the president, right, which they're not going to do, but
34:09
even if you fired the current president of BU and put in, you know, a true conservative
34:13
Bible-based Christian, I still think Baylor's screwed, right?
34:18
A story like this proves that the rot goes way too deep.
34:23
I think the process of changing them, considering where they were based on where they were
34:30
to now, I don't know that it's possible that they can write the ship.
34:35
Now, is it feasible to think that if they got in a true conservative Bible-based Christian
34:41
to be the president and to lead that university that it could change?
34:44
Yes.
34:45
But even look at what Donald Trump's going through right now, a resounding victory in
34:48
the Electoral College and the popular vote, a tremendous mandate from the American people.
34:54
But even inside of the administration, there are still so many people that want him to
34:59
fail, right?
35:00
And so you have all these people that are finally starting to fire these people, these
35:04
federal government workers, which by the way, side note, they're telling all of us that
35:08
we need to be really, really sad for these people.
35:10
Oh, look, they're outside their offices that they can't get into anymore and they're crying
35:13
because a thousand people were let go.
35:16
I don't remember the same news outlets doing stories about the tens of thousands of people
35:21
that lost their jobs in businesses because of COVID.
35:25
What about the business owners that had, you know, generational businesses, their third-generation
35:29
business owner or a restaurateur or something like that, and they lost that because COVID
35:33
because they weren't considered to be an essential business?
35:35
Where were the tears for those people?
35:38
What about on day one when Joe Biden said no, uh, Keystone pipeline?
35:42
I think it was like 10,000 people that, that weren't going to have jobs, right?
35:46
Where were all the tears for that?
35:47
So you can save it.
35:48
But inside of Baylor, inside of that university right now, how would one person, even if they
35:54
were a tremendously, you know, good, conservative Bible based Christian, how are they going
35:59
to get all the bad people out, how's that going to happen?
36:03
Because again, these are, these are, you know, employees that are hard to fire, right?
36:08
If they're tenured professors, they're going to be hard to get out of there.
36:10
And then number three, I think I got a couple more.
36:14
Baylor will almost assuredly not change course, right?
36:18
There's really no indication that they're going to change course here.
36:21
What I think is going to happen is they're going to do what most organizations like this
36:24
do in the circumstances, they're going to go dormant on their kind of pro LGBTQ push.
36:29
They're going to go quiet for a bit.
36:31
But then they're going to come back with a vengeance.
36:33
So it'll be likely after the Democrats take the house in 2026 midterms, which is likely
36:39
to happen.
36:40
It's odds on favorite that the Democrats are going to take over the house, which will
36:43
basically be the end of the Trump presidency for two years.
36:48
But I think if they get the house, it'll embolden people like that.
36:52
And then especially if Democrats eventually take over the house and an white house again,
36:56
which will certainly happen.
36:57
I mean, think about what would be happening right now.
37:00
If Democrats still had the Senate and if they had the white house, if Kamala Harris was
37:04
in fourth, and this is very, very important parents.
37:10
Don't be asleep at the wheel when it comes to sending your kids to a quote unquote Christian
37:14
university or college or even K through 12 school for that matter.
37:18
Again, as I've said before, I think your only options now are vetted private Christian school
37:22
and homeschool and you can add some charter school.
37:24
So that, but just because a school has a cross in the lobby or a big cross on the campus,
37:29
does not mean they hold to Christian biblical values, right?
37:32
Look at Baylor.
37:34
Look at any number of examples that I've talked about on the show of K through 12 or even
37:38
universities.
37:39
Okay.
37:40
I mean, there are questions that you as a parent have to have answered before you send
37:45
your kid to a Christian college university or K through 12 school, okay?
37:50
Does the school require faculty and staff to sign a statement of faith and a code of
37:55
conduct?
37:56
Do they?
37:58
Because if all of a sudden one of the teachers is like, ah, I'm actually a lesbian, right?
38:03
Does the school have any recourse?
38:04
Again, this is a private Christian school.
38:06
So if they had these people sign a code of conduct and a statement of faith and someone
38:09
came out as a lesbian atheist, it's like, okay, well, you're fired.
38:12
See you.
38:13
It's kind of like when Tommy Lahren, I remember her, she was fired from the blaze because
38:17
she went on the view and she said that she was basically pro-abortion, right?
38:22
So the not very conservative position, as you can imagine, England backs like, yeah,
38:26
kick rocks.
38:27
Get out of here.
38:28
And people are like, that's so crazy.
38:29
What about free speech?
38:30
I don't know.
38:31
You have freedom of speech, but you don't have freedom from consequences, right?
38:35
So if you hold to this position, it's like, well, we get to decide the type of people
38:38
that work here.
38:39
It's right to work state.
38:40
Get out of here.
38:41
Also a question that you have to have answered as a parent.
38:44
Do they fire people if they violate the statement of faith or the code of conduct?
38:48
Because let's say they do have a code of conduct and a statement of faith that you have to
38:51
sign.
38:52
If you violated, are they actually going to fire you or is it, you know, slap on the
38:55
wrist?
38:56
Hey, I know you say you like having sex with men and you're a man, but you shame on you.
39:04
Don't you do that anymore or at least don't talk about it or bring your boyfriend to class
39:08
with you, right?
39:09
Or do they just fire them, right?
39:11
That'd be a good thing to know.
39:13
So does the university have any pro LGBTQ plus student organizations?
39:18
Do they have any anti Israel student groups?
39:21
They have any pro abortion student groups, pro BLM student groups?
39:24
Again, this is a witch's brew of people, right?
39:27
How many people do you know that are pro LGBTQ, but anti, uh, or, you know, they're pro LGBTQ,
39:34
but then they're also pro Israel.
39:36
They're, uh, you know, anti abortion and they're anti BLM, like that person doesn't exist,
39:42
right?
39:43
This is like a menu of, of what these people are.
39:46
It's like running down the back of their baseball card.
39:49
And then the last thing, this is kind of the thing hovering over this entire story is does
39:53
your kid actually need to go to college in the first place?
39:57
Because I grew up in an era where if you didn't go to college, you were a moron.
40:00
If you went to trade schools, cause you probably got in trouble, right?
40:04
But you have so many parents that are just like, well, you've graduated from high school.
40:08
So let's just go on to college.
40:09
Why?
40:10
Although I don't know and they just get a student loan that's guaranteed and backed
40:15
by the government and then they just go.
40:18
But treat your kid starting at the age of 16, like they need to give you a presentation
40:23
as to why they should go to college.
40:25
Okay.
40:26
So if they're going to go STEM science, technology, engineering or math, right?
40:29
Makes sense to go get credentialed out of college.
40:31
If they eventually want to be a lawyer or a doctor, yeah, totally makes sense.
40:35
But like me, I got a degree in communication, right?
40:38
And then I got an MBA, but I got an MBA in my program.
40:41
I never even had to do a business plan, right?
40:45
So it didn't set me up to run this business.
40:46
I'm not using quantitative modeling class or whatever I did during my MBA to run a podcast
40:52
and to run a men's ministry.
40:53
Like I'm not using any of that.
40:55
So for your kid, does your kid show any blue collar acumen?
41:00
Because as Mike Rose pointed out with Mike Rowe works, you know, the guy from Dirty Jobs,
41:03
for every five guys that are retiring from the trades, there are only two that are going
41:08
to be replacing them.
41:09
So plumbers, electricians, carpenters, welders, these guys are going to be gone.
41:19
And then with only two replacing for every five that retire, can you imagine the amount
41:24
of money that these people are going to be able to make, like they're going to be able
41:27
to write their own check, essentially, because in your community, you're going to have so
41:31
few people.
41:32
And again, if you show up on time and do good work, you're just going to clean house.
41:37
So why do you want to send your kid to get a sociology degree or a philosophy degree or
41:41
something like that at a college, only for them to graduate from college and the best
41:46
job that they can get is a barista, okay?
41:49
So again, even with our kids, we're not anti-university, but you know, James and Eli, they're not going
41:55
to get to go to a university and we're not going to be, you know, signing up to pay for
41:58
it if they don't know what they want to do.
42:00
Now that doesn't mean they can't change their mind.
42:02
Again, they're 18, their brains are seven years away from being fully developed.
42:06
That same time, if you don't have any clue of what you want to do for a living college,
42:11
university spending, you know, $25,000 to $100,000 per year is not the place to figure
42:16
that out, right?
42:18
Maybe take your gap year, maybe go be an intern, maybe follow a guy around that does a job
42:23
that seems somewhat interesting to you.
42:25
And then you're like, oh, actually, yeah, I do like this guy.
42:27
This guy's a CPA.
42:28
Like, you know, actually understand these spreadsheets.
42:30
This is exciting.
42:31
It gets to help business owners and families, you know, with their finances and all that.
42:34
Great.
42:35
If you're 18, you go to school, you're going to get to your degree in accounting and you're
42:38
going to get your hour.
42:39
So you can sit for the CPA exam, okay?
42:42
As opposed to getting there and just like, oh, no, I guess I'll just take some basics
42:45
for a couple of years while I just get drunk and go to football games.
42:48
I don't think that's the best use of your time.
42:51
So parents, you got to have all those questions answered.
42:53
And if you don't, you might be setting yourself up.
42:56
Hey, guys, real quick, according to a recent Gallup poll, only 31% of Americans express
43:01
confidence in the mass media to report the news fully, accurately, and fairly.
43:05
And that is the lowest mark in 50 years.
43:08
And then on the entertainment side of things, you simply can't sit your children down in
43:11
front of the TV screen anymore without worrying about them being propagandized by left-wing
43:15
weirdos.
43:16
I mean, you remember when that Disney employee came out?
43:18
They were caught saying on camera that they have a not-so-secret gay agenda with their
43:21
kids' content?
43:22
Yeah, no bueno.
43:23
So it is time for you to stop giving your attention and money to media and entertainment
43:28
companies that hate your values and the truth.
43:30
And that's why I want you to become an all-access member of Daily Wire Plus.
43:33
And, guys, they have an exclusive offer to Undaunted Lifers, so I'll get to that here
43:37
in just a second.
43:38
But I've been consuming Daily Wire content for at least a decade at this point.
43:42
I first became an all-access member of Daily Wire Plus just to support them, but they've
43:46
given me so much value in return.
43:47
So I've benefited greatly from their podcasts and their articles and their documentaries
43:52
and docuseries.
43:53
It's just been really helpful for me to solidify my conservative philosophies and thoughts.
43:57
So guys, what do you get with an all-access membership to Daily Wire Plus?
44:01
So you get live Q&As with Ben Shapiro, Matt Walsh, Michael Knowles, Jordan Peterson, and
44:05
more.
44:06
You also get groundbreaking documentaries like What is a Woman and Amiracist.
44:10
You get the entire Jordan Peterson library, so that includes Exodus and Gospels series,
44:14
which were just spectacular.
44:16
And also you get full uncensored access to all of the Daily Wire podcasts.
44:20
You get complete access to every article on DailyWire.com, full access to Ben Key.
44:25
So that is their children's TV show in movies app that has all the content you want, and
44:29
you're not going to have to worry about them trying to turn your kids gay.
44:31
You get two, count it two, leftist, tears tumblers, and you get a whole lot more guys.
44:36
It's time to get your content and news from a conservative, patriotic company.

45:09
All right, let's stay in Waco, Texas, and let's talk about Chip and Joanna Gaines selling
45:14
out to the LGBTQ+ agenda.
45:17
So Chip and Joanna, they have become household names because of their mega hit show called
45:23
Fixer Upper on HGTV.
45:25
So it's kind of funny because early in our marriage, my wife just loved HGTV, house hunters
45:29
and all these different shows.
45:30
And God, most of them were just absolutely painful to watch.
45:34
But I actually liked that show because I thought Chip and Joanna, they were a nice, cute couple.
45:39
They seemed to genuinely love one another.
45:41
Chip was kind of a goofball.
45:42
They seemed to actually really be helping people.
45:46
And so they just kept growing and growing and growing.
45:49
And then they just kind of went into orbit, right?
45:52
They have their own studio.
45:55
They had the Magnolia silos there in Waco, the Magnolia market.
45:59
I mean, they've really built a mega media and home design and furniture.
46:05
Like I was buying chairs for the forging table, a new forging table set up.
46:08
And I was at like Mathis Brothers here in Oklahoma City and there's like a big Joanna
46:12
Gaines display and all these different things.
46:14
This displays at different stores and all that.
46:16
I mean, these two, I mean, they're worth tens of millions, if not hundreds of millions
46:20
of dollars at this point.
46:22
And kind of the best part of all that is that they claim to be Christians, right?
46:26
I mean, on multiple occasions, they both have publicly stated that Jesus Christ is our Lord
46:31
and Savior.
46:32
You know, they participated in the I Am Second campaign.
46:34
They've got tremendous videos on YouTube in different places where they gave their testimonies.
46:39
They both regularly attend church.
46:40
They reportedly go to Antioch Community Church down there in Waco.
46:44
It's a non-denominational church.
46:46
And then back in 2016, they actually got caught up in a little bit of drama because it was
46:49
discovered.
46:50
Ooh, discovered sound scary, right?
46:53
That their church that they attend maintains that marriages between one man and one woman
46:57
for life and that homosexual acts are actually simple.
47:00
I know, incredibly controversial, right?
47:01
If you don't know anything and for all intents and purposes, they bolstered on business and
47:05
they just kind of let the drama eventually fade away.
47:07
So it looked like we had this legit, beautiful, successful, charming, good old American Christian
47:15
couple that we can try and emulate, right?
47:18
Right?
47:19
Well, the things that are guaranteed in life are death, taxes, and really famous Christians
47:25
capitulating to the culture.
47:26
So this is where I heard about a new show, right?
47:30
So last week, I heard that they have a new show.
47:32
So this is according to El Decor, a great website, apparently, El Decor on July 2nd.
47:37
Chip and Joanna Gaines are trading their fixer uppers for something even rougher, reality
47:43
without modern plumbing.
47:45
Their latest Magnolia network show back to the frontier is a major change for the design
47:49
duo who once made fixer upper a household name.
47:53
Preparing on July 10th on HBO Max and Magnolia network back to the frontier is a social experiment
47:58
that drops three modern American families into the wild, literally on 10,000 acres of untamed
48:04
nature stripped of every 21st century comfort.
48:06
The premise is to survive as 1880s pioneers for eight weeks, which means no running water,
48:11
no electricity, and not a single smartphone in sight.
48:14
The families are tasked with learning skills and that kept homesteaders alive through brutal
48:19
winters, farming, foraging, raising livestock, rationing supplies, and perhaps most crucially,
48:24
figuring out how to coexist without the buffer of modern distractions.
48:28
Chip and Joanna are executive producers this time, letting the wild do the heavy lifting
48:33
while they watch from a safe distance, no demo day, just pure unfiltered frontier grit.
48:38
The show's timing is spot on in a world obsessed with digital detox and authentic experiences.
48:45
This is the ultimate unplugged challenge.
48:47
So when I heard about the show, I was like, well, that actually sounds kind of awesome.
48:51
Like I don't get to watch a lot of television.
48:53
That may be something that my wife and I would actually enjoy.
48:56
Oh, except for one little small sticking point.
49:01
One of the families featured in back to the frontier is a gay couple that is quote unquote
49:07
married and has two adopted sons.
49:11
The two gay men are named Jason, Hannah, and Joe Riggs.
49:14
The boys are twins, age 10, named Ethan and Lucas.
49:18
And you know, these two men acquired these twin boys after they commandeered them from
49:22
their birth mother after paying her a convenience fee for carrying them for nine months, otherwise
49:26
known as surrogacy, right?
49:28
Which again, I know it's sticky to even mention this side note, isn't it interesting that
49:35
these gay male couples always seem to want to adopt or create to adopt boys?
49:41
Isn't that so interesting?
49:43
Why don't they want little girls?
49:45
Why don't these gay men want little girls that they have direct access to in their house?
49:51
Hmm.
49:52
Something to think about.
49:54
So it seems like the Gaineses are done defending a biblical stance on marriage.
50:00
They're done with saying that homosexuality is sin.
50:04
They're done with saying that there is a particular way that you should rear a child and raise
50:08
them up in the nurture and admonition of the Lord.
50:10
And we know this because they literally chose this couple.
50:16
It's one of only three featured couples on the show, right?
50:19
And before any of you, because you like them and you like their furniture, run to their
50:23
defense and say that this was some sort of decision made by some higher up at the network
50:27
or whatever, it's their network.
50:31
They own it.
50:32
They run it.
50:33
They sign the front of the checks at Magnolia network.
50:37
Okay.
50:38
And we can rest assured that this is not some sort of oversight, okay?
50:42
They're executive producers on the show.
50:44
Sometimes you could be listed as a producer because you like, you know, helped fund the
50:47
trailer or something like that.
50:48
No, no, no, they are executive producers.
50:50
So they're in control of creative.
50:53
So there is not, there's essentially not a single scenario where this happened without
50:58
their foreknowledge and subsequently without their consent.
51:00
There's no chance at all.
51:02
This is a purposeful attempt by the Gainses to parade this family in front of their loyal
51:09
American audience and to display to them, display them as, you know, a positive and
51:15
loving family and really, you know, displaying them in the most positive and loving light
51:21
possible, right?
51:22
They want everyone to think that this kind of family arrangement is not only normal,
51:27
but beautiful, like not just normal, but moral.
51:31
And there's another story that actually drives this point home.
51:34
This is from Megan Basham again over the weekend.
51:36
So she reported this after hearing from multiple sources that chip and Joanna Gains have close
51:41
professional and personal ties to a strange polyamory arrangement in which a husband and
51:46
father brought another man into the home and they are now together while the wife remains
51:51
to raise the five children.
51:52
I looked into it.
51:54
It is true.
51:55
The man in question is Billy Jack Bronner, Magnolia photographer.
51:59
I'm told that the Gainses did not rebuke this situation, but instead have affirmed Billy
52:04
Jack in his choices.
52:05
The rot in Waco goes a lot deeper than I suspected.
52:09
So again, just so you're keeping track at home.
52:12
This is a guy that's married to a woman and they have five kids together.
52:15
But this guy apparently wants to have sex with the men.
52:18
And so he has a male kind of paramour boyfriend.
52:22
So those two, while they're having butt sex, the wife is at home taking care of the five
52:26
kids.
52:27
And I don't know if she's okay with this arrangement or if she's just going along to get along
52:30
to protect the kids, but you can find a bunch of pictures online of this guy, his gay boyfriend
52:35
and them hanging out with the kids.
52:37
That can't be confusing at all.
52:39
And apparently the Gainses are big on it.
52:41
They're fine with it.
52:42
One of my big takeaway on this story is what in the hell is in the water in Waco, Texas?
52:49
Waco, Texas?
52:51
Like is everybody drinking six stripes of rainbows down there?
52:55
I mean, good Lord, like you have the situation with Baylor and then you basically have the
53:00
king and queen of Waco, Texas, right?
53:04
They're bigger than Baylor and look at this.
53:08
And when we get into a situation like this, when we see these Christian couples that are
53:14
held up as this virtuous couple that we should emulate, there are some things we need to
53:19
ask.
53:20
Like how should a Christian conservative public respond?
53:23
And the answer is boycott and then it makes some of you feel icky on the inside.
53:28
It seems really mean and really judgmental, but yes, boycott.
53:32
Now I'm not actually a believer in forever boycotts, right?
53:36
Unless it's something like Planned Parenthood, where they're expressed perfect for existence
53:40
as murdering children.
53:41
You know, I may have said some things, you know, on the show in the past, I would lead
53:44
you to believe that I'm for like forever boycotts, but I'm actually fully okay with
53:48
brands or companies or public figures falling on their swords and repenting, like I'm okay
53:53
with that.
53:54
Oh, okay.
53:55
You know, I made a mistake.
53:56
Like if Bud Light had came out and said, yeah, I know he sent the cans to that, you
53:59
know, trans influencer weirdo, man, we shouldn't have done that.
54:03
This was a lower level staffer that made this call and it kind of didn't make it all the
54:07
way up the chain.
54:08
Had it made it all the way up the chain, I would like to say we wouldn't have done it.
54:10
That was a terrible mistake.
54:12
We violated the trust of, you know, the people that support us in our brand.
54:15
Yeah, we're not going to do that again.
54:16
We regret it.
54:17
We're sorry.
54:19
But the gains is haven't felt the sting of their sinful decision yet.
54:25
As of right now, it has not hurt their bottom line of their business yet.
54:29
Like it hasn't caused them to be asked prickly questions that they have to answer publicly.
54:34
I mean, hell, this story hasn't even gained much steam as a recording of this episode,
54:39
right?
54:40
Most of the conservative commentators that I look at and look to and Christian commentators,
54:44
most of them haven't said a word about this.
54:47
Now the Babylon bees on there, they had a great post about Jim and Joanna Gaines released
54:51
a new line of rainbow ship lap, which, you know, it's kind of an insider joke.
54:54
If you know anything about their show, but if you Google, so I googled their names over
54:58
the weekend, so I could like prepare this episode, it's just a bunch of random articles.
55:02
If you, if you Google, it may have changed by now, but if you just Google chip and Joanna
55:06
Gaines, it was a story about how they took a ballroom dancing, you know, hey, how do
55:11
they keep their marriage exciting after multiple decades?
55:14
Oh, what's the next business venture?
55:16
Nothing about this story, okay?
55:18
Nothing about this show and that abominable gay couple.
55:22
So Christians and conservatives, which, you know, are not always the same thing, but they
55:26
need to continue putting pressure on brands that openly hate them and their values, okay?
55:31
Put pressure on these brands and these people, which the, the Gaines are a brand at this
55:34
point.
55:35
I mean, that's why it's completely inappropriate for any of you to give Disney your money or
55:41
access to your children until they show you prove to you that they're not trying to show
55:44
the LGBTQ plus propaganda down your throats and down your kid's throats.
55:49
Don't go see their movies, don't go to their parks, don't go on their cruises, right?
55:54
That's why it's completely acceptable to continue not watching the NBA until they can prove
55:59
to you the consumer that they're not going to put the name of a communist Marxist grifter
56:03
organization right there on the court, right?
56:05
Like they did with BLM during COVID.
56:08
That's also why it's completely fine to refuse to subscribe to Netflix as long as they had
56:13
the cuties movie in their rotation, which was the movie I talked about on the show where
56:17
they had very, very young girls like prepubescent girls dancing in a sexual manner for the sexual
56:23
pleasure of adults, which apparently was on Netflix for four years.
56:26
It was just taken off their site in September of 2024.
56:30
Like I deleted my Netflix subscription and I never took it back, right?
56:34
Because no, I'm not going to give a portion of my money to support that filth.
56:39
I mean, the gains is need to feel the sting of this, right?
56:44
They need to publicly repent of doing this that they need to publicly apologize for peddling
56:51
sinful filth in the show for supporting people inside their organization that are doing things
56:56
that are demonic and ugly and sinful.
56:59
And if they don't, then they deserve to go out of business completely.
57:04
I'm rooting for them to repent.
57:06
I don't want them to go out of business.
57:07
I want them to come full circle and say, you know what?
57:11
We kind of got higher in our own farts.
57:13
We were making a lot of money.
57:14
We're making a lot of decisions.
57:16
We kind of became our own gods there for a second.
57:18
We thought we knew how to love just like Baylor.
57:21
They thought that they knew how to love people better than God does.
57:24
And we realized, you know what?
57:25
Actually, we don't.
57:26
We're sorry.
57:27
We repent.
57:28
We'll be better.
57:29
If they do that, I'm all fine with coming back and supporting them.
57:32
If they don't, screw them.
57:33
All right.
57:34
Next story here, the tragic floods in Kirk County, Texas.
57:37
I mean, this, goodness gracious, this story is so hard to talk about.
57:41
So I'll try to be brief.
57:42
So at this point, every single person that's listening to this podcast is likely aware
57:48
that on July the 4th, there was a day lose of rain in the middle of the night in Kirk
57:52
County, Texas, the Guailoupe River rose over 20 feet in less than an hour, absolutely stunning
57:59
amounts of rainwater and flooding.
58:02
The flooding was immediate and violent.
58:04
As of July the 13th, that was the last time I checked, 129 people are confirmed dead, but
58:09
there's still like 160, 170 people or so that are still missing.
58:14
Basically all of them are presumed dead at this point, but they just not have, they have
58:17
not found the bodies.
58:18
They've not been able to find closure.
58:21
You know, many of the victims were children.
58:24
Many of them came from one summer camp, Camp Mystic.
58:26
That was in all girls, Catholic camp, 27 of the girls and counselors are confirmed dead
58:31
as of July the 11th.
58:33
Five girls and one counselor still remain unaccounted for as of July the 11th, but they
58:36
are presumed dead.
58:38
The stories are just absolutely heartbreaking.
58:40
I mean, two sisters holding hands and holding a rosary together when they were found.
58:45
I mean, just brutal, just absolutely brutal.
58:47
I just can't imagine for those parents, like, you know, just, just so unbelievably tragic.
58:53
The director of Camp Mystic, Dick Eastlin, he died while trying to save those girls, right?
58:59
They got most of the girls out, but he died trying to save the last of the girls.
59:03
So just crazy.
59:04
The debris zone is still so messed up as of right now and there's still been rain.
59:09
So the search and rescue operations have been just incredibly difficult.
59:13
There's been a lot of stories of heroism, but one amazing one, US Coast Guard rescue swimmer
59:16
of Scott Ruskin, 26 years old, first ever mission, right?
59:20
First ever mission.
59:21
He goes out there and saves 165 people by himself, but not completely by himself.
59:26
You know, he was with the rest of the Coast Guard, but he got 165 people to safety and
59:30
I heard a great story.
59:31
It's very poignant.
59:32
I think Glenn Beck talked about it, but, you know, he's saving these little girls and
59:37
a little girls like, can I bring my stuff to animal?
59:40
Can I bring my bear?
59:41
And you got to think like this is Coast Guard guy, you know, he's, no, you know, mission
59:45
first.
59:46
We got to get you to safety.
59:47
Like leave that behind.
59:48
That's what we're going to drag us.
59:49
He's like, yeah, of course you can.
59:52
So the heroism, the courage, but also the tenderness, man, man, just incredible in this.
1:00:01
So this story, you know, you kind of see it bringing out the best in humanity.
1:00:04
You see people getting their own personal helicopters and flying up and down the zone
1:00:10
down there to try to find people, you know, people coming out.
1:00:13
I talked about this.
1:00:15
You'll hear about it on a on a future day, a 4G table episode, but H.E.B a big grocery
1:00:20
store chain down there.
1:00:22
They have like response teams for this.
1:00:24
I forget what it's called.
1:00:25
But it's like their disaster relief, H.E.B. and there was a video someone shot from one
1:00:29
of the parking lots.
1:00:30
It's just 18 wheeler after 18 wheeler after trailer after whatever of H.E.B. loading up
1:00:35
their own materials, right?
1:00:37
And shipping it out to the people down there that were affected by this.
1:00:42
But a story like this has also brought out some of the worst in people because Donald
1:00:46
Trump has broken people's brains.
1:00:48
So there was a former Houston mayoral appointee named Say to Perkins.
1:00:53
She actually had this to say, I'm probably going to get canceled for this, but camp mystic
1:00:58
is a whites only girls Christian camp.
1:01:04
They don't even have a token Asian, they don't have a token black person.
1:01:08
It is a all white, white only conservative Christian camp.
1:01:14
If you ain't white, you ain't right, you ain't getting in, you ain't going period.
1:01:19
And I think that context needs to be said in this matter.
1:01:25
It's not to say that we don't want the girls to be found with whatever girls that are missing
1:01:30
or whatever right now, but you best believe, especially in today's political climate.
1:01:36
If this were a group of Hispanic girls, especially with them being in East Texas, it should be
1:01:42
most likely Hispanic.
1:01:43
If this were a group of Hispanic girls out there, this would not be getting this type
1:01:48
of coverage that they're getting.
1:01:49
No one would give a ****.
1:01:51
And all these white people, the parents of these little girls would be saying things
1:01:54
like they need to be deported.
1:01:56
They shouldn't have been here in the first place in yada yada yasa.
1:01:58
Before y'all come at me, before y'all start leaving hate comments on my page about, oh,
1:02:03
these are just kids and they don't know no better, the parents of these children who
1:02:08
are choosing and it is a choice in 2025.
1:02:11
It is definitely a freaking choice to go into East **** damn Texas and to make an all white
1:02:19
enclave exclusionary just for white people with all the black people in East Texas with
1:02:25
all the Hispanic people in East Texas somehow, some way you have carved out an all white
1:02:32
whites only enclave in East Texas for your white children.
1:02:37
Yeah, I have a problem with that.
1:02:39
I have a big problem with that.
1:02:41
I mean, just think about the brain rot that you have to have experienced to think that
1:02:47
your first thought is, well, I went to their website and I don't see any black girls.
1:02:52
I don't see any token Asian girls or Latinx girls.
1:02:56
Think about that.
1:02:58
So and again, by the way, just if any of you aren't aware, that was not a whites only
1:03:02
camp, right?
1:03:04
There's nothing in the application to apply to bring your girls to the camp that said
1:03:07
if they ain't white, they ain't right.
1:03:09
There was none of that in there.
1:03:10
I mean, just an astonishing level of idiocy and evil, but not to be all done.
1:03:16
Dr. Kristina B. Probst, she's a pediatrician.
1:03:19
She posted this on her Facebook while there were, there were still people literally like
1:03:23
dying and trying to be found.
1:03:25
May all visitors, children, non-Maga voters and pets be safe and dry, praying hands.
1:03:31
Kirk County, MAGA voted to gut FEMA.
1:03:34
They deny climate change.
1:03:36
May they get what they voted for, bless their hearts.
1:03:41
I've got some descriptive words for this woman that I'll leave in my brain, but I'm sure
1:03:45
you can fill in the blanks.
1:03:46
So luckily she was promptly fired for this, and to that I say good.
1:03:50
You know why?
1:03:51
Because someone that's this evil, as this woman clearly is, when someone believes such
1:03:57
evil things, as this woman clearly does, we cannot rest assured that she would dispense
1:04:03
her medical expertise equally for all patients, right?
1:04:08
I mean, she basically gave us the proof we needed to make that claim.
1:04:11
I mean, let's just say a parent brings in their child, right, and the parent is wearing
1:04:16
you know, an American flag shirt or God forbid a MAGA hat.
1:04:20
Can you guarantee that this evil witch would simply ignore that and try to just give the
1:04:27
best care for the child?
1:04:29
No, you couldn't.
1:04:31
I'm glad she was fired and I hope her professional life is completely ruined forever for this.
1:04:37
Unless she repents and then okay, I guess she can come back into the good graces, but someone
1:04:41
like that doesn't need to be anywhere near children.
1:04:45
Now, a lot of people from the left have just loved the story because, you know, it's going
1:04:50
after Trump and you know, they can look at something and they can say, hey, lack of funding
1:04:55
affected this.
1:04:56
There should have been more warning had there been more people had Trump not cut funding
1:05:00
than, you know, everything would have been fine.
1:05:03
But let's just say that these crazy people are actually right though.
1:05:06
They're not, but let's just say they were.
1:05:09
Are they saying that if Trump had, you know, sorry, not Trump, but if they are, are they
1:05:12
saying that if Texas had voted for Kamala Harris, had gone for Kamala Harris, if that
1:05:17
county had gone for Kamala Harris and if Kamala Harris was president, that the rainstorm would
1:05:23
not have happened.
1:05:25
Is that what they're arguing that the Guadalupe river would not have flooded because there
1:05:31
were literally, this has been well reported at this point, the same exact number of people
1:05:36
employed to watch this situation with the, the weather centers and the emergency response
1:05:42
in the federal government and local government.
1:05:44
The same number of people were employed during that situation on July 4th of this year as
1:05:48
their word during the Biden administration.
1:05:51
What precisely is your argument?
1:05:54
I mean, the reality is is that they don't have one.
1:05:57
They just hate Trump so much that they're willing to twist themselves into pretzels to try and
1:06:02
make the administration look bad.
1:06:04
It's ridiculous and terrible.
1:06:06
So my big takeaway on this one, there are a lot of organizations that are taking donations
1:06:09
right now.
1:06:10
There a lot of them are great.
1:06:12
The one that I would donate to, if I were you, is Convoy of Hope.
1:06:15
So Convoy of Hope.org, that's in the show notes there, they've got boots on the ground.
1:06:21
They're helping people down there.
1:06:22
They're helping with cleanup, all kinds of different things.
1:06:24
So donate to Convoy of Hope.
1:06:27
All right.
1:06:28
Next quick hitter here, former president Joe Biden's doctor pleading the fifth when asked
1:06:31
if he covered up Biden's bad mental and physical health.
1:06:34
This is according to the New York Post on July the 9th, Joe Biden's former doctor refused
1:06:38
to answer a single question Wednesday about the ex-president's health and cognitive decline,
1:06:42
stunningly invoking his right against self-incrimination before slinking out of the congressional deposition.
1:06:48
Dr. Kevin O'Connor is facing claims that he shielded the public from Biden's decline
1:06:52
while the 46th president was in office and even covered up his powerful patient's advanced
1:06:56
stage prostate cancer.
1:06:58
So here's actually what that sounded like, Dr. O'Connor, did you ever believe the president
1:07:04
was unfit to execute his duties as president?
1:07:08
On the advice of counsel, I must respectfully decline to answer based on the physician's
1:07:13
patient privilege and it reliance on my right under the fifth amendment of the Constitution.
1:07:18
I'm not a lawyer and I must follow my lawyer's advice in this matter.
1:07:22
Let the record reflect that Dr. O'Connor is in the vote.
1:07:25
So to save you from having to watch a much longer clip, that's how he answered all the
1:07:28
questions.
1:07:29
He literally just looked down and read that statement over and over and over again.
1:07:34
That's all I did.
1:07:35
So my big takeaway on this one is this is the people have been saying one of, but I think
1:07:41
at this point, it's clear, this is the biggest cover up in US presidential history.
1:07:47
Joe Biden was literally not our president for four years.
1:07:52
Who in the hell was the president?
1:07:55
People have guessed maybe it was the most evil woman in public life, Joe Biden, his son
1:07:59
Hunter, right, when he was, you know, not snorting Coke, office strippers, buttholes.
1:08:04
Maybe it was his chief of staff.
1:08:06
It was members of his cabinet, but remember he didn't have a cabinet meeting for like
1:08:09
the last two years of his presidency, not a single cabinet meeting.
1:08:14
And one of the cabinet meetings he had, you know, who ran the meeting, Joe Biden, right?
1:08:20
So Joe Biden wasn't the president.
1:08:21
A lot's been made of the auto pin.
1:08:22
They're trying to, you know, get rid of some of the things that he signed with that auto
1:08:26
pin because it literally was not his signature.
1:08:28
He had to be woken up every day and be reminded that he was the president of the United States
1:08:31
and he was just sent out there to kind of shuffle along and to be, you know, be in front of
1:08:36
the camera for pictures and whatnot.
1:08:38
But this is just an astonishing story that in the greatest country that has ever been
1:08:44
produced by humanity that for four years, there was a man that wasn't alive.
1:08:49
And again, a lot of people are making, they're making a lot out of the fact that, oh, he really
1:08:54
declined towards the end of his presidency.
1:08:56
Guys, if he was forced to campaign back in 2020, if he was not allowed to just sit in
1:09:02
his basement and shoot highly edited videos, he would have, you would have seen this.
1:09:08
He did definitely get worse over those four years, but he was terrible when he was running
1:09:11
for president in 2020, right?
1:09:14
Had there not been COVID, had there not been the BLM riots, had there not been all this
1:09:19
unrest in the country, then Trump would have went to a sweeping victory and been right
1:09:25
in for his second term and it would have been consecutive, right?
1:09:29
But to have a doctor go out there and to claim like privilege and say, oh, well, I can't
1:09:35
discuss things.
1:09:36
Well, of course you can.
1:09:38
That same doctor had discussed Joe Biden's health publicly for years.
1:09:43
Everyone knew he was the president's doctor.
1:09:45
And so whenever you're lying to the public, that's okay, right?
1:09:48
To say, oh, yeah, it's perfectly fine.
1:09:50
Healthy as an ox.
1:09:51
Like I've never seen someone healthier.
1:09:53
But now at this point, it's like, oh, I got to, I got to plead the fifth.
1:09:56
So I don't incriminate myself.
1:09:58
Just astonishing biggest cover up in the history of the United States presidency.
1:10:03
All right.
1:10:04
Next quick hitter here, Planned Parenthood losing funding for one year.
1:10:07
This is according to live action on July the 1st, the US Senate voted 51 49 on Tuesday
1:10:12
to pass the so-called big, beautiful bill, a budget reconciliation bill, which included
1:10:17
the defunding of abortion providers like Planned Parenthood for one year.
1:10:20
Vice president.
1:10:21
The vote would have been 50, 50 because vice president JD Vance cast the tie-breaking
1:10:25
vote.
1:10:26
So Planned Parenthood themselves, they admitted this was something they sent out to their
1:10:29
donors and sent out to other people to, you know, make them donate and also to make them
1:10:32
feel bad.
1:10:33
They said that they may have to close down as many as 200 facilities.
1:10:39
So big takeaways on this one.
1:10:42
Okay.
1:10:43
Great.
1:10:44
Now let's make the defunding permanent, okay?
1:10:48
So they're defunded for one year.
1:10:50
That is spectacular.
1:10:51
That is absolutely spectacular, but taxpayer dollars in America should not be going to
1:10:58
murdering children.
1:11:00
Like is this, is this a controversial thing to say, right?
1:11:04
Because the majority of Americans, if they knew what was actually happening during abortion,
1:11:10
and if they actually knew, oh yeah, this is an actual human.
1:11:13
This isn't just a clump of cells.
1:11:15
This doesn't just amoeba and like, you know, form into a baby right before it comes out
1:11:19
of the woman.
1:11:20
If they knew that they would be against this procedure and against the things that Planned
1:11:23
Parenthood does.
1:11:24
And also Planned Parenthood is now the number one provider of transgender drugs on the planet,
1:11:29
the number one provider.
1:11:31
No, they do not need our tax money, but also on this story.
1:11:35
Okay.
1:11:36
Great.
1:11:37
We've defunded them for a year, but defunding can't be the only measure to stop baby murder
1:11:41
and baby sacrifice.
1:11:43
So you're something that is sobering and should be sobering to all of you pro lifers
1:11:47
out there.
1:11:48
The number of abortions that Planned Parenthood has done overall has gone up since the repeal
1:11:55
of Roe v. Wade and Planned Parenthood v. Casey.
1:11:59
It's gone up.
1:12:00
Well, how's that possible?
1:12:03
Right?
1:12:04
Well, it's because blue states that love baby sacrifice, they've made it easier for Planned
1:12:13
Parenthood to kill babies and other abortion providers to kill babies.
1:12:16
And red states have either shut the doors entirely or hemmed and hot on it a little bit.
1:12:23
But another big factor is the ubiquity of abortion pill use.
1:12:27
Okay.
1:12:28
Again, when most people think about abortions, they're thinking about D and C's, D and E's,
1:12:32
D and X's, and they're thinking about babies being sucked out with vacuum tubes or partial
1:12:36
birth abortions where they're pulled out by their feet, but their head is left in the
1:12:39
vaginal canal and they take pieces of scissors and snip the back of the baby's neck, stick
1:12:44
a suction tube into the baby's skull, suck the brains out so that the skull collapses
1:12:48
and then pull out the dead baby.
1:12:50
That's what people think about, which still happens.
1:12:51
All those things still happen here in the United States, but now it's just an abortion
1:12:54
pill, right?
1:12:57
You find out that you're pregnant.
1:13:00
You take kind of this two step course of abortion pills and boom, not pregnant anymore.
1:13:05
You just expel the baby into the toilet and flush it, right?
1:13:10
The ubiquity of these pills and organizations that are sending these pills to your house,
1:13:14
this is basically like a vending machine, right?
1:13:17
For most of these people.
1:13:19
So pro-lifers have to get real and on the legislative side, yes, these facilities need
1:13:24
to be shut down, but also you need to shut down the ability of people being able to send
1:13:29
you death by mail.
1:13:31
All right.
1:13:32
Next, quick at her here.
1:13:33
The University of Pennsylvania stripping mail, swimmer Leah Thomas, trophies and metals
1:13:36
and issuing a formal apology for letting him compete in women's swimming events.
1:13:40
So this is according to Daily Wire on July the 1st.
1:13:42
The White House has struck a deal with the University of Pennsylvania that requires the
1:13:45
school to strip trans identifying mail swimmer Leah Thomas of the titles he won on the women's
1:13:49
team.
1:13:50
The Daily Wire has learned the University of Pennsylvania will restore all titles to female
1:13:54
athletes that were misappropriated by male athletes according to a landmark agreement
1:13:58
between the Trump administration and the University of Pennsylvania, a White House official shared
1:14:02
with the Daily Wire.
1:14:03
Under the new agreement, the school is promising to comply with Title IX.
1:14:07
The federal civil rights law that prohibits sex discrimination in schools that receive
1:14:10
federal funding.
1:14:11
The University of Pennsylvania will not allow males to compete in female sports or use female
1:14:15
intimate facilities and will adopt a biology based definitions for male and female that
1:14:20
comply with the Trump administration's executive orders on the issue.
1:14:24
The school will also send a personalized letter of apology to each impacted female swimmer
1:14:28
according to the agreement.
1:14:29
I've seen a lot of people posting about the story, a lot of conservatives claiming victory
1:14:34
on all this.
1:14:35
I think one thing that we can say is the trans agenda is in complete retreat at this point.
1:14:41
To think of where we've come in the last four or five years on this issue, conservatives
1:14:45
are just no longer willing to go along to get along on this issue and I think that's great.
1:14:51
But the thing is, is just kind of like with the story earlier with Baylor, I think that
1:14:57
Democrats and pro-trans pro-LGBTQ people, they're just going to go quiet for a while until they
1:15:03
get the White House in a house back, which is definitely going to happen.
1:15:07
I'm not saying it's going to happen in 2028, but 100% we can guarantee unless, you know,
1:15:12
Christ comes back, the White House, the Senate, and the House will be taken over by Democrats
1:15:16
certainly in our lifetime, okay?
1:15:19
So my big takeaway on this one is I'm sorry, but this just isn't good enough.
1:15:26
And unfortunately it never will be because it's in the past, right?
1:15:33
Leah Thomas was allowed to compete.
1:15:37
Leah Thomas beat the girls that he competed against.
1:15:42
He stole their opportunities from even competing and in some cases stole their medals and trophies.
1:15:50
These races can't be redone.
1:15:53
They can't be redone.
1:15:55
They already washed the races.
1:15:57
So these apologies and these letters, they're not worth the paper they're printed on.
1:16:02
Like I remember this.
1:16:03
I remember what was it?
1:16:04
When it was discovered that Reggie Bush, you know, him and his family took a whole
1:16:07
bunch of money when he was at, you know, USC, and they had to vacate.
1:16:13
I think I got this straight.
1:16:15
So he had to give his Heisman back, which I think he's gotten back since or whatever.
1:16:19
But he had to give his Heisman back.
1:16:21
Did they give the Heisman trophy to the person that got second place, whoever that was?
1:16:24
No, they didn't, right?
1:16:27
Because Reggie Bush already on national television went up and accepted the Heisman.
1:16:31
He did a speech.
1:16:32
It already happened.
1:16:34
So when USC had to like vacate all the wins or whatever, so those games didn't happen.
1:16:40
I think that was the year that they played OU in the national final and they beat them
1:16:43
like 55, 19 in the naddy, right?
1:16:46
Like it was just an absolute drubbing.
1:16:48
I think that was Matt liner, Reggie Bush.
1:16:49
If I've got my facts straight, that game just didn't happen, right?
1:16:54
The Reggie Bush didn't push push Matt liner into the end zone at Notre Dame, like to win
1:16:59
the game on the in the last second.
1:17:01
None of that happened.
1:17:03
It's ridiculous.
1:17:04
Like when people are, oh, we're just going to vacate the wins.
1:17:06
I'm sorry.
1:17:07
Those races happened.
1:17:08
I think there's 10 women that race all at the same time.
1:17:12
There was one woman in every race that Leah Thomas was in, Will Thomas was in that didn't
1:17:18
get a chance to race for a championship, didn't get a chance to race for an all American spot,
1:17:22
didn't get a chance to race for a medal or a trophy.
1:17:26
You can't undo that with an apology letter.
1:17:29
Like I'm glad that the University of Pennsylvania is acknowledging this, but you have to remember
1:17:33
they're acknowledging this because they were being pushed by the administration that their
1:17:38
funding was going to be taken away.
1:17:39
This is all about dollars and cents.
1:17:41
They don't actually believe this.
1:17:43
They believe that Leah Thomas is a woman.
1:17:48
They believe that six foot four man should be able to change in a locker room with his
1:17:56
twig and berries flopping around.
1:17:59
They're completely okay with that, but the administration's like, okay, we're going to
1:18:03
take away all your federal funding.
1:18:04
Oh, just kidding.
1:18:06
We apologize.
1:18:07
We're going to remove Leah Thomas's name from, from, you know, all the books and, you know,
1:18:11
even though they've already made all their money and gotten all their LGBTQ donations to
1:18:13
university and all that, they're not going to give any of that money back.
1:18:16
But yeah, we're, we're just going to pretend like that never happened.
1:18:19
No, no, you screwed those girls over.
1:18:23
You screwed them over and they have missed out on those opportunities and will have missed
1:18:27
out on those opportunities for life, singing them a letter and a trophy in the mail ain't
1:18:31
going to fix nothing.
1:18:33
Our last quick hitter here, a one year old baby being mauled to death by the family dog.
1:18:38
So we're going to play a game.
1:18:40
Okay.
1:18:41
I'm about to read this story, but instead of saying the breed of the dog, I'm just going
1:18:45
to say blank.
1:18:46
Okay.
1:18:47
And let's see if you guys by the end of the story can guess the dog breed.
1:18:50
Okay.
1:18:51
So this is according to KWTX on July the eighth authorities in Ohio say a blank fatally attacked
1:18:57
a one year old girl last week.
1:18:59
According to Tascara was County sheriff, Orvis Campbell deputies were called to a home on
1:19:04
Lake Road regarding a dog attack just before 6 p.m. on July the second Campbell said in
1:19:09
an initial 911 call dispatchers couldn't hear anyone, but they eventually connected
1:19:13
with the mother during the second call, who said the family dog had killed her baby deputies
1:19:18
arrived at the home to find a one year old girl with bites to the face and throat.
1:19:23
Family members identified the girl as Blakely blosser.
1:19:26
Her joyful essence shown brightest when she was playing with her brother.
1:19:29
Their bond was pure and filled with laughter, offering moments of joy that will forever reverberate
1:19:33
in the hearts of our family.
1:19:35
Love one shared during her obituary authorities say she was pronounced dead at the scene.
1:19:40
It was about as terrible of an ordeal we've come across in a long time, Campbell said.
1:19:45
The mother told deputies she was walking inside the home with the child when the dog
1:19:49
attack happened.
1:19:51
Deputies said they observed defensive wounds on the mother who said she tried to stop the
1:19:54
attack.
1:19:55
According to Campbell, the mother told them that the dog did not have a history of attacking
1:19:59
anyone, but it's shown signs of aggression to other dogs.
1:20:03
Campbell said the father who was not home during the attack later euthanized the animal.
1:20:08
We will hold on to every memory, every picture in every video forever in our hearts.
1:20:13
The family shared Blakely was deeply loved.
1:20:16
The case will be reviewed by prosecutors, but charges are not expected to be filed.
1:20:20
So I actually want to put a picture up on the screen right now.
1:20:22
So Landon shout out to my editor, Landon, let's go and put the picture up on the screen.
1:20:28
That's a little girl.
1:20:31
Give you all some time with that.
1:20:32
Look at that little girl.
1:20:37
That girl is dead because her mommy and daddy wanted to own a cool looking dog.
1:20:45
Big takeaway on this one.
1:20:47
How many more little babies have to be mauled to death by pit bulls before we realize that
1:20:52
the breed is too dangerous for private ownership?
1:20:59
Every single year, it's this.
1:21:03
Every few weeks, it's a story like this.
1:21:07
Pit bulls are mauling to death infants and toddlers and elderly people.
1:21:14
Why are we okay with this?
1:21:17
I actually do a full breakdown of this on episode 377 of this podcast, but to summarize
1:21:22
it, pit bulls were bred to kill bulls.
1:21:26
It was called bull baiting, okay?
1:21:29
So they would grab on to the snout of a bull and hang on to it until the bull died.
1:21:36
A pit bull that weighs less than 100 pounds is going up against a huge bull killing it.
1:21:43
They were also bred to fight other animals and not just fight them until they stopped
1:21:47
moving, fight them until they died, okay?
1:21:50
Now, much of what I'm about to give you was compiled a research by a guy named Merrick
1:21:55
Clifton.
1:21:56
He's the editor of animals 24/7, so that's an animal news organization that focuses on
1:22:00
humane work and animal cruelty prevention.
1:22:03
animals make up less than 6% of the dog population, but they're responsible for 68% of dog attacks
1:22:09
and 52% of dog-related deaths since 1982.
1:22:13
So Clifton says that for 32 years he's been recording this and it's been more until now.
1:22:19
There's never been a single year when pit bulls have accounted for less than half of all
1:22:24
the attacks against 6% of the dog population in this country.
1:22:27
There's never been a year where they have accounted for less than half of the dog attacks
1:22:31
in this country.
1:22:33
One person in the United States is killed by a pit bull every 14 days.
1:22:38
Two people are injured by pit bulls every day in the United States and in the 10 years
1:22:43
from 2009 to 2018, pit bulls killed or maimed 3,569 people in the US and Canada.
1:22:51
So guys, are pit bulls cool looking dogs?
1:22:55
They sure are.
1:22:56
They're beefy.
1:22:57
They got that big head, right?
1:23:00
Personally, I've only ever been around cool pit bulls.
1:23:04
I grew up in a town where I had friends that fought pit bulls for money, right?
1:23:07
They would have their pit bulls fight other pit bulls for money, right?
1:23:11
And then they would just have them in the houses with their kids.
1:23:15
But pit bulls are wild animals.
1:23:18
They're not domesticated.
1:23:20
They should not be allowed to be pets, right?
1:23:23
And again, go back to that episode.
1:23:25
I dispensed with all this nonsense.
1:23:28
Believe me, the well, you've never met my pit bull.
1:23:31
He or she is a total sweetheart.
1:23:32
Gosh darn it.
1:23:33
They would never hurt a fly.
1:23:36
Well the family pit bull of Blakely Blosser apparently had never hurt a fly, right?
1:23:41
That was until it ripped the throat out of a one year old girl.
1:23:46
So there is that, I mean, imagine saying something stupid like this.
1:23:51
We've had a pet rattlesnake in our house for years.
1:23:54
You know, he just kind of keeps himself and he's never bitten anybody.
1:23:59
Imagine saying something like that and thinking it's a good argument.
1:24:01
I mean, it's just astonishing.
1:24:03
The fact that you have a pet rattlesnake in your house that hasn't bitten and killed somebody
1:24:07
yet does not mean that the thing is safe.
1:24:11
And then you got people that are like, well, you know, any type of dog can attack and kill
1:24:15
somebody.
1:24:16
Okay.
1:24:17
When's the last time you heard of a golden retriever killing someone?
1:24:20
A giant Schnauzer, a Maltese, a golden doodle, a poodle.
1:24:26
Because guess what?
1:24:27
If we euthanized every pit bull, rot weiler in Doberman in this country, we would essentially
1:24:31
have no deaths via dog, none.
1:24:35
We'd have none every now and then someone's got kind of a weird, wolfy mixed dog that
1:24:39
gets out, but, and then there are kind of wild dogs that become feral and then, you know,
1:24:43
they'll, a big group of them will like attack a hunter or something like that.
1:24:47
But again, if you got rid of pit bulls and then Doberman's and then Rottweilers, basically
1:24:52
no children are being mauled to death by animals.
1:24:56
What is the argument against it?
1:24:57
You like them?
1:24:59
You like the, okay.
1:25:00
Guess what?
1:25:01
Well, grandfather in your dog, no breeding, no breeding whatsoever of those dogs.
1:25:07
If a pit bull is seen on the street, they're shot on sight, euthanized immediately, right?
1:25:13
There's not a good argument against it.
1:25:14
And again, I've had people before that are just, you know, good friend of mine.
1:25:18
He's like, well, oh, Kyle, what are you going to ban next?
1:25:20
Are you going to ban pools?
1:25:22
Kids drown in pools all the time.
1:25:23
What are you going to ban ladders?
1:25:25
People fall off ladders and die and get hurt.
1:25:27
Well, guess what, idiot, pools can't grab you and hold you under.
1:25:35
A kid can fall into a pool.
1:25:37
A kid can get tired and drown, but the pool's not going to chase you down the street and
1:25:41
grab you by your throat.
1:25:43
A ladder does not have a mind of its own.
1:25:46
A ladder is not going to chase you down and hold you by the throat until you die because
1:25:52
duh, you morons.
1:25:54
This is a sentient animal.
1:25:58
It can make its own decisions and it doesn't matter how well you've trained it.
1:26:02
And I've talked about several stories on the show.
1:26:03
There was one where the family pit bull that they raised from a puppy in a house where
1:26:08
the dog was not abused.
1:26:10
It was given food and water, it was taken out for exercise and taken on walks, mauled
1:26:15
both of the children, both of the children to death, almost killed the wife.
1:26:22
Again, give me the argument as to why these animals should be allowed to live because
1:26:29
here's the thing and I am unapologetic in this stance, I will never prioritize the life
1:26:35
of any animal of any breed over any human, any innocent human being, especially a child.
1:26:42
I will never do that.
1:26:44
So you pro pit bull, apologist people need to reckon with that because y'all know how
1:26:50
much I loved Roman the giant, my giant Schnauzer.
1:26:53
If he had shown aggression towards my boys, like at any point that he was going to attack
1:26:58
them, I would have taken him out into the backyard and shot him in the fricking head.
1:27:03
Because I love that animal.
1:27:05
I love that animal more than I love some people, but that's an animal, right?
1:27:11
So I remember Matt Chandler saying this before, a child with Down syndrome has infinitely
1:27:16
more value than secretariat does.
1:27:19
The most famous race horse of all time, I think basically every race horse that races
1:27:22
now has some sort of thing in its genes from secretariat and all that.
1:27:27
So a kid with spina bifida has way more value than that horse.
1:27:32
Why the horse wasn't made in the image of God.
1:27:36
And we have these animals that are mauling and killing image bears of God, little kids
1:27:43
and elderly people.
1:27:44
Again, it's not 38 year old dudes that do jiu jitsu that are getting mauled to death by
1:27:47
pit bulls, right?
1:27:49
They may get attacked.
1:27:50
They might get hurt, but they're pulling elderly people out of wheelchairs and they're taking
1:27:55
advantage of children.
1:27:56
Again, this woman walked into her home with her one year old baby and the people just
1:28:00
decided to freak out and kill it.
1:28:02
Okay.
1:28:03
So for all you pro pit bull people, I'd love to hear your arguments as to why we should
1:28:08
still allow these wild animals to be privately owned.
1:28:11
All right, guys, I'll do it for today.
1:28:13
But before we go, we are going to do a quick resilience boost and don't allow for missions
1:28:16
equipping men to push back darkness with content that for just spiritual and mental forgiveness
