This is Undaunted Life, a man's podcast.
0:24
I'm your host Kyle Thompson, let's get into it.
0:27
So God created man in his own image.
0:29
In the image of God, he created him.
0:30
Male and female, he created them.
0:32
That's Genesis 127.
0:33
Guys, thanks so much for being here with me on the show today.
0:36
Just want to remind you, Church 11, 22 men's conference,
0:38
the tickets are going fast.
0:39
We are well past the halfway mark.
0:41
This is October the 17th and 18th in Jacksonville, Florida.
0:44
I've had a lot of fans of the show, a lot of fans of me
0:47
and Joby and the Azka pastor stuff.
0:48
Say they're coming out to Jacksonville.
0:50
The speakers will be Joby Martin, Willie Robertson,
0:53
John Tyson, Brian Loretz.
0:54
Yours truly, some other folks as well.
0:56
It's going to be a great time.
0:57
October 17th and 18th, this will so get your tickets.
1:00
They are there in the show notes.
1:01
Also, as always, we are so thankful to our donors.
1:04
And guys, if you have not left us a review
1:06
and shared the show with a friend,
1:07
you're a terrible, terrible, awful person, please do that.
1:09
And only five star reviews, please, please, please.
1:12
All right, today we are going to be doing a bunch of quick hitters.
1:14
So the quick hitters today, the bipartisan and feminism
1:17
fueled push to allow proxy voting in Congress.
1:20
The results of the most expensive statewide judicial race
1:23
in US history, former UFC heavyweight champion
1:25
came to Alaska as being sentenced to five years in prison,
1:28
domestic terrorist targeting Tesla drivers,
1:30
vehicles, and dealerships, RFK juniors
1:32
fight to keep Americans from buying junk food with food stamps
1:35
and the sports moment of the year.
1:39
But we haven't talked about my good old buddy, Andy Stanley,
1:42
on the show in a while.
1:44
And if you're new to the show and we're so thankful
1:46
for all of our new listeners, we get new listeners every week.
1:48
We're so, so thankful for you.
1:49
Just to bring you up to speed just a little bit,
1:51
I used to be a huge, Andy Stanley guy.
1:53
If I had to pick one guy that was like my favorite passer
1:56
to listen to every week and then I got the most from,
1:58
I would probably have said Andy Stanley,
1:59
would have been Andy Stanley or Matt Chandler.
2:02
And then there was quite the turn, right?
2:05
And he kind of became a focus of my ire.
2:07
And so I go into great detail, guys.
2:09
If you're new to the show, three episodes,
2:10
you need to go back and listen to episode 423.
2:13
Andy Stanley is a heretic, 499 update.
2:16
Andy Stanley is still a heretic and 512 Andy Stanley,
2:20
the circle drawing snake.
2:21
And I will bring you completely up to speed as to why I think
2:24
Andy Stanley is one of the most dangerous people,
2:26
if not the most dangerous person in all of Western or Christendom.
2:29
But Andy Stanley has been marching away from the Bible
2:32
for a very, very long time.
2:34
And the march away from the Bible and anything resembling
2:36
Christian orthodoxy or orthopraxity and orthopraxity
2:40
and towards secular leftism.
2:41
And for Andy Stanley and his entire ministry apparatus,
2:44
it's just continue to pace, right?
2:46
It's actually been very, very astonishing
2:48
at the continual direction that he is heading in.
2:51
But here recently I was made aware of an exclusive report
2:54
that was released by the website, Protestia.
2:56
And this was in late March.
2:57
And some people out there are not big fans of Protestia
2:59
because they follow all these pastors.
3:01
But the thing is, you may not like Protestia's commentary,
3:05
but they are bringing you the facts about what is happening
3:07
in some of these huge churches around the country.
3:10
So you may not like the fact that they're taking shots
3:12
of pastors, but they're basically the only news source,
3:16
if you could call them that.
3:17
That is even going after it.
3:18
But there was revealed a, there was a leaked video
3:22
that came out from Andy Stanley's church
3:23
and it was LGBTQ training.
3:27
That was this video.
3:28
Now this video is a training video that they show
3:31
to their children's workers at the church, okay?
3:35
So apparently the entire video is about 20 minutes long
3:38
and you have to be a Protestia insider to get access to it,
3:41
which I'm fine with that.
3:42
But Protestia did release a six and a half minute snippet
3:45
of the video on their Twitter account on March the 28th, okay?
3:48
The video features a guy named Britt Kitchen.
3:52
Britt Kitchen and he is a multi-campus director
3:54
of something called Transit there for Andy Stanley's church.
3:57
And part of this program includes ministry
3:59
for middle school students.
4:00
So that's sixth graders, eighth graders.
4:01
So what's that?
4:02
12, 13, 14 year olds, right?
4:04
The video that Protestia was sent by someone anonymously,
4:08
which thank God for this person, is part of there.
4:11
And this is exactly what it's called 2025 LGBTQ leader training
4:16
curriculum, okay?
4:18
It's insane that that's even a thing
4:20
that a church has an LGBTQ plus training,
4:23
like leadership training.
4:25
But the point of these training videos
4:27
is to equip these small group leaders
4:30
in Andy Stanley's church and to equip them in this program,
4:33
these again are essentially children's workers
4:35
on best practices for supposedly LGBTQ kids
4:39
between the ages of like 11 and 14.
4:42
And again, that's even insane.
4:43
That you would have a training video
4:44
that would equip your people to deal with it,
4:47
especially once you see what the training actually includes.
4:51
So I wanna go to the video.
4:53
This is the snippet that they released.
4:55
Now, I don't exactly know how the permissions
4:57
are gonna work and all that.
4:58
So I'm gonna show the whole video here
5:00
or you can listen to the whole video
5:01
that I'm gonna have it here in the show.
5:03
But for whatever reason,
5:04
I have to like delete it later or something like that.
5:06
All of it is in the show notes
5:07
so you can go and check it out for yourself.
5:09
But it's the entire six and a half minute clip
5:11
so you can get a sense of what this dude is saying.
5:13
And then I'll go ahead and break it down.
5:14
Let's go ahead and go to the clip here.
5:17
- We know that if we create a safe place,
5:19
more students will share things with us
5:20
that are difficult to navigate.
5:22
So I wanna talk through how we care for students
5:25
who are experiencing gender dysphoria.
5:28
Now, gender dysphoria, this is a weird term.
5:30
We don't hear it a lot.
5:32
Basically, this is the clinical term used for anyone
5:35
who's unsure about their own gender.
5:37
Dysphoria is the opposite of euphoria.
5:40
Euphoria is like joy, happiness,
5:42
contentment, excitement over a situation.
5:45
Gender dysphoria is like they're not comfortable.
5:48
They don't have joy over it.
5:49
They're not sure where they land.
5:52
So this is the umbrella term
5:54
for several different terms
5:55
that could be underneath gender dysphoria.
5:58
The terms transgender or non-binary
6:01
are some sample terms that an adult might use to describe
6:04
who they are if they're trying to figure out their gender.
6:07
Our goal in these situations
6:09
is to best support the student and the family.
6:11
Now, this is an extremely small part of the population.
6:15
It's more likely they won't happen
6:17
in your small group in middle school,
6:18
but we wanna make sure we're prepared
6:20
and we've thought through how to best care for these students.
6:24
Our goal is to first understand
6:25
where a student is in their journey.
6:28
Now, through the years, we've got to know several families.
6:30
There's one family in particular
6:32
that's very helpful for me.
6:34
Their journey first started
6:35
when their student was five years old.
6:38
So it was before any of the middle school hormones
6:40
of what's going on could even take place.
6:42
And these parents handled it so well
6:44
and took every step so slowly.
6:46
This family first started going to a child psychologist
6:49
and seeing a medical specialist.
6:51
There were times they started using different pronouns
6:53
at home, but only at home.
6:55
They were not using these pronouns in school.
6:57
They weren't even asking to extend a family
6:59
to use those pronouns yet.
7:00
They weren't asking friends to do it yet.
7:03
Then a big step was to pick a new name
7:05
from the other gender so they could start using that.
7:08
But once again, only the new name around the home.
7:12
And they could start wearing different clothing.
7:14
First, just one day a week, once again, only at the home.
7:18
The next big step was going to the extended family,
7:20
the grandparents, the aunts, the uncles, the cousins
7:23
to say, hey, will you start using this name
7:25
and these pronouns for our child?
7:28
Now, somewhere along the way,
7:30
medical interventions started for the student.
7:32
If we're talking about something in middle school,
7:34
more than likely medical injections
7:36
are going to be about stopping puberty
7:40
as opposed to having a surgery.
7:41
That will probably come later in life.
7:44
It would be just a matter of, hey, let's slow down
7:47
or stop puberty from even starting for this child.
7:50
Now at this point, the next big thing that's going to happen
7:52
is they're starting to ask the public
7:53
to start using a different set of pronouns
7:55
and a different name.
7:57
They finally go to the school system
7:58
and ask them to start using those different pronouns.
8:02
Now, what eventually happened was the school system,
8:04
the family, the extended family,
8:06
we're all using different name and pronouns for this child,
8:08
but their local church would not do it.
8:12
Their local church said, nah,
8:14
because we've known him since he was a little boy,
8:16
we're not going to start saying her.
8:18
So not here, not at our church.
8:21
We've known you too long to be able to do that.
8:23
And so everywhere this child went in life,
8:25
they were saying you were one thing,
8:27
but only at church, they had to pretend to be something else.
8:30
And they had to leave that church
8:32
and they finally came here,
8:33
started talking to our care ministry staff
8:35
and we realized, oh my goodness,
8:36
we cannot be the last place a student feels comfortable.
8:40
That's the opposite of our goal for church,
8:42
is to be the last place you feel comfortable
8:44
talking about anything, but we've got to understand.
8:47
It's a really, really long journey for these families.
8:51
I mean, it's years and years and years
8:54
and years and years to make this change.
8:57
In fact, it's very difficult surgery
9:00
to go through later in life.
9:02
In fact, there's upper surgeries and bottom surgeries
9:06
and many people can go through the upper surgery,
9:09
but the bottom surgeries are extremely invasive
9:11
and sometimes don't even work.
9:14
And so it may not even happen,
9:16
be possibility for every person
9:18
who wants to make this change.
9:19
So knowing how long this journey really is,
9:24
it's important that we as staff
9:26
and as small careers care for these students knowing
9:30
this is not gonna be a flip of the switch
9:32
and be taken care of next week.
9:34
This isn't gonna be something that is turned around
9:37
in just a few days.
9:38
This is gonna be a five or six year process
9:41
for the student if they stick with it.
9:45
And the best part is that's exactly
9:47
what our strategy is already made to do,
9:50
to track along for multiple years with the students.
9:53
So this is nothing new for any of you.
9:56
Here's something I remember, 75%,
10:00
which is a huge number, 75% of people
10:05
do not make a full transition.
10:09
It's very rare.
10:10
In fact, as we are caring for the student,
10:13
a lot of the ministry will be to the parents.
10:16
Many times we're helping the parents
10:18
understand the student's journey as well.
10:20
Many times the parents don't know what to do.
10:23
And if you're nervous about what it looks like
10:26
for a student who's considering this change
10:28
or somewhere on this journey of change,
10:30
if you think you're nervous,
10:32
the parents are 10 times as nervous.
10:35
They are much more nervous than you are.
10:38
It was a big deal for them to walk into a church
10:41
with their child and hope someone was going to love them,
10:44
hoping someone was going to care for them.
10:47
In fact, just the other day,
10:48
a student that we walked with from middle school,
10:51
through high school on their change
10:53
and we did the whole thing, the pronouns
10:55
and choosing a different name.
10:57
And there was a ceremony and they started
10:59
doing hormone shots and they're off to college now.
11:02
Well, they're a freshman in college
11:05
and they just reached back out to us to say,
11:08
"Hey, now that I'm a freshman in college,
11:10
"I realize that wasn't true about me,
11:13
"but I'm going to go back to my old name
11:16
"and my old pronouns."
11:18
And we're like, "Okay, well, I'm glad you have a better
11:21
"understanding of who you really are.
11:23
"And I'm so thankful that this student's sparklers
11:27
"didn't draw a hard line in the sand somewhere
11:29
"and said, "Nah, not here.
11:31
"We used to know you went,
11:33
"but we walked alongside the student and his family
11:36
"because we had no idea where their journey
11:40
"is going to go."
11:41
- Okay, so that should have been fairly shocking
11:44
for everybody, but we do need to go and break this down
11:46
because if you're just listening to this
11:48
or driving in the car or something like that,
11:49
there's going to be a whole lot that you probably miss.
11:51
I'm probably missed on this.
11:52
But from the very beginning of this video,
11:54
Kitchen talks about making a quote unquote safe place.
11:58
So obviously there are a lot of issues
12:00
with the safe language because most of the time
12:02
when people are talking about safe places
12:04
or safe spaces or making things safe,
12:06
they're saying don't challenge anyone's priors.
12:10
Don't challenge anyone's philosophies.
12:11
Don't challenge anyone's opinions or points of view.
12:14
And certainly don't say someone is doing something wrong
12:16
or sinful, okay?
12:17
They don't mean safe place in terms of like,
12:19
no, we are going to use our body to protect you
12:21
from the predations of someone that's trying
12:23
to physically hurt you.
12:24
No, they're talking about mental hurt, right?
12:27
Hurting feelings, right?
12:28
Then Kitchen starts by defining the term gender dysphoria,
12:32
okay?
12:33
So here's a quote.
12:34
Our goal in these situations is to best support the student
12:37
and the family, okay?
12:39
So he gives you this definition of a gender dysphoria
12:41
and then he says their goal in these situations
12:43
is to best support the student and the family.
12:45
So clearly, if they want to do that, if that's their goal,
12:48
their stated goal, they're going to uphold
12:50
a biblical ethic on gender, right?
12:53
I mean, clearly they're going to talk about
12:55
how they will, you know, sensitively counsel
12:58
the gender confused child and their parents
13:00
while holding to capital T truth, right?
13:03
Well, of course not because, you know,
13:05
you heard the rest of the clip or watched the rest of the clip.
13:07
So then this guy kitchen describes a specific example
13:10
of a family that had a gender dysphoric child.
13:12
So that a gender confused child, okay?
13:14
And they were supposedly gender confused
13:16
since the age of five.
13:18
And his direct quote is,
13:20
"And these parents handled it so well."
13:24
In a lot of ways, that is the key quote
13:26
of all of my commentary today and of what this guy said
13:29
is that, "And these parents handled it so well."
13:32
So he's holding up these parents as a paragon of virtue
13:36
as the best example of what he can see and surmise
13:39
in a situation like this, okay?
13:40
And this is where you can really tell
13:41
where this video is going.
13:42
I mean, if you don't already,
13:44
you should have, that should have been your signal
13:45
from the very beginning.
13:46
Again, he wants to use his family as an example
13:48
of how to do this well so well.
13:51
Kitchen says the family started using different pronouns.
13:55
So in other words, the family started lying.
13:58
So they know their kid is one gender,
14:00
but they are using different pronouns.
14:02
That's why pronoun hospitality is not a good thing
14:05
because you're lying and we're not supposed to do that.
14:07
And this is not one of those, you know,
14:09
if you were hiding Jews during the Third Reich,
14:13
would you have, you know, lied to tell the SS officer,
14:15
well, no, I'm not hiding them under the floorboards.
14:17
Like, of course, you would have lied
14:18
because human flourishing would have required that you do so.
14:22
This isn't one of those situations.
14:24
Then kitchen says the family took a big step
14:27
by selecting the gender confused kid a new name.
14:30
Now, again, as I've told you before,
14:31
if you want to change your name, that's fine.
14:33
Like if you used to be Jimmy
14:34
and now you want to be called Janet, sure,
14:36
I'll call you Janet.
14:37
Like if you change your name legally and all that,
14:38
sure, I'll call you whatever you want to be called,
14:40
but you're not going to force me to lie, okay?
14:42
Calling you by a different name,
14:43
you can change your name legally, that's no big deal.
14:46
But I'm not going to lie
14:47
and pretend that you're a different gender.
14:49
Then kitchen says that this family started
14:51
letting the kid cross-dress
14:53
but only one day a week, right?
14:55
And only at home, okay?
14:56
No big deal.
14:57
Again, kitchen couches those three things
15:01
that I just mentioned, you know,
15:02
the use of incorrect pronouns lying,
15:04
a new name and allowed cross-dressing
15:06
as no big deal because it was only happening at home, right?
15:10
And again, he says this family did so well
15:13
with their kid.
15:14
Then this family began to coerce their friends and family
15:17
to go along with this a-biblical forest
15:19
by making them use the wrong pronouns
15:21
and the new name for this kid.
15:22
'Cause the way he says it,
15:23
it's like, oh, he asks friends and family
15:25
to start using the new name and the new pronouns.
15:27
No, this is coercion.
15:29
This is you do this or you hate this kid,
15:31
you do this or you don't love us, right?
15:33
That's what this is.
15:34
Then again, remember, he said this family did so well,
15:36
so well.
15:37
He describes how this family started doing
15:40
medical interventions.
15:42
So in other words, physically destroying their child.
15:45
Because again, you can't pause puberty.
15:48
It doesn't matter what they inject into your arm
15:50
or what they do to you.
15:51
You can't pause puberty.
15:54
You can destroy the healthy development of a child,
15:56
but you can't pause anything.
15:59
Then Kitchen talks about how they put their kid
16:01
on puberty blockers to slow things down a bit
16:03
as if that could even happen.
16:04
Then this family began to coerce the greater community,
16:07
not just their friends and family,
16:09
but the kid's school, clubs, church,
16:11
to go along with this a biblical farce
16:13
by making them use the wrong pronouns,
16:15
a new name for this kid.
16:17
And then this is where the video turns really, really dark
16:20
in sinister and satanic, okay?
16:22
Kitchen describes the family's church
16:24
that they were attending at the time
16:26
and how they were the only ones
16:27
that wouldn't go along with this lie.
16:30
And he casts this church as the evil bad guy in the story.
16:35
Think about that.
16:36
Oh, this church just wouldn't go along with it.
16:38
They just wouldn't use the wrong pronouns.
16:40
They just wouldn't lie because we told them
16:41
that's what we wanted
16:42
and that's what would make our kid feel better.
16:45
I mean, think about the ramifications for that
16:47
if the church had done that,
16:49
because if they're gonna punt on this issue,
16:51
what other issues of sin will they punt on?
16:52
Obviously.
16:54
Then Kitchen describes how this poor kid
16:57
could go around everywhere in the world
17:00
and people would play along with this kid's delusion
17:02
and with this parent's delusion,
17:05
but how this evil bad, very, very bad church wouldn't do it.
17:09
Again, driving home that the church
17:11
was doing something wrong and evil somehow.
17:14
And here's a direct quote from this kitchen guy.
17:16
So everywhere this child went in life,
17:17
they were saying, you are one thing,
17:20
but only at church, you had to pretend to be something else.
17:23
This is literally the exact opposite of what is true.
17:29
Because what is true is that at this time,
17:33
everywhere this child went in life,
17:35
he was pretending to be something else,
17:39
but only in this kid's church did the people call him
17:42
to stop pretending.
17:44
Like this is, this is 1984 stuff.
17:47
This is, we're actually gonna take what's true
17:49
and we're just gonna flip it.
17:50
Like this is Animal Farm 1984.
17:52
I mean, Georgia Orwell would absolutely have been
17:54
aghast at watching a video like this.
17:56
Then Kitchen says that the family had to leave that church.
18:01
When in actuality, this family chose to leave that church.
18:03
There's no indication, and he doesn't say it,
18:06
that the church kicked this family out.
18:08
This church chose to leave.
18:09
So Kitchen's just flat out lying there.
18:12
And then they started going to Andy Stanley's church.
18:14
This family did.
18:15
And then this evil quote,
18:17
"We cannot be the last place a student feels comfortable."
18:20
That's the opposite of our goal for church.
18:24
I just need to read this quote again from this kitchen fella.
18:27
We cannot be the last place a student feels comfortable.
18:31
That's the opposite of our goal for church.
18:34
You know what that tells me about Andy Stanley's church,
18:37
about North Point and all the connected churches?
18:39
They are not serious about the gospel of Jesus Christ.
18:42
They're not serious about the gospel.
18:46
You know why?
18:46
Because if their number one goal
18:50
is that they can't be the last place a student feels
18:53
comfortable, don't you think that can be extrapolated out
18:55
to the rest of the people that go to that church?
18:57
Younger children and adults?
18:58
We don't want anyone to feel uncomfortable.
19:02
Guess what guys?
19:04
To really understand and grasp the gospel,
19:07
you have to understand your level of depravity.
19:10
Because if you don't see yourself as depraved,
19:12
you won't see yourself as a depraved sinner
19:14
in need of a payment for your sin debt
19:16
so that you can be in the presence
19:17
of a holy and just Father God.
19:20
The gospel, right?
19:23
They don't take the gospel seriously.
19:25
So we need to stop talking about Andy Stanley
19:27
as if he's running a ministry,
19:29
he's running a left-wing political operation,
19:32
is what he's doing.
19:33
Then Kitchen starts casually talking
19:36
about top and bottom surgeries.
19:38
Just casually, just chopping off healthy breast tissue
19:42
of little girls or inserting silicone tissue into boys,
19:47
cutting off the genitalia of boys
19:49
and making a vagina-like thing
19:51
or sewing flesh from a kid's arm
19:55
onto the kid's crotch in some sort of phallic sense,
19:58
just top and bottom surgery.
19:59
Just evil, just absolute evil, right?
20:04
You know, on the last ask of pastor,
20:07
it's like who from history would you wanna get in a fight with?
20:08
And I said Karl Marx without any hesitation.
20:10
I think it might be Andy Stanley actually.
20:12
Then he talks about how long of a process of transition,
20:16
it will be for a student as long as they stick with it.
20:19
Again, this is the family that he's holding up
20:21
as the example of a family doing this process so well, right?
20:26
They allowed for satanic doctors to pump their children
20:30
or their child full of drugs
20:32
that would chemically castrate them
20:34
on their way to doing mutilation surgeries, right?
20:37
Oh, but if they stick with the transition, right?
20:41
Then Kitchen says this is exactly the strategy
20:44
of their church and their workers,
20:46
to track along with these kids,
20:48
affirming them the entire way
20:50
and never trying to stop the barbarism.
20:53
Never trying to stop the parents from destroying their child.
20:56
That's the church's role according to this doof.
20:59
Then he tries to make this big point, right?
21:03
Rites it real big on his cute little notebook.
21:05
That's 75% of people don't make the full transition.
21:09
Again, which shows that they think transitioning
21:11
is even a thing.
21:12
The entire time he's talking about transitioning
21:16
as if someone could do that.
21:18
I could start presenting in a more feminine way.
21:22
I could shave my beard, grow out my hair,
21:24
wear makeup, grow out my nails and paint them,
21:26
wear a dress, chop my dick off.
21:28
I can do all these things, right?
21:30
But that's not a transition.
21:32
That's me playing dress up and me mutilating myself.
21:35
Then he says that their church's job
21:39
is to minister to the parents,
21:41
which I mean, you wanna talk about rich.
21:43
I mean, how exactly do they do that, right?
21:47
By helping them stand on the word of God,
21:49
by leading them towards capital T truth,
21:51
by giving them the tools by which
21:53
to help their confused child out of their dysphoria.
21:56
Nope, none of those things, that would be too reasonable.
21:58
That would be too godly, that would be too biblical.
22:01
Their job at Andy Stanley's church
22:03
is to make sure that the parents sit down,
22:06
shut the hell up and destroy their child
22:09
and make them feel good and happy along the way.
22:12
That's apparently Andy Stanley's church's stance
22:14
and their job.
22:15
Then Kitchen describes how Andy Stanley's church
22:17
played this exact charade with the students
22:21
so they refer to them by the lie, by the wrong pronouns.
22:24
They call the student by the new name.
22:25
They participated in a transition ceremony,
22:28
whatever that is.
22:29
They stood silent as this kid
22:31
started using chemical castration drugs.
22:33
They likely would have stood silent
22:34
if he had decided to start mutilating his body
22:37
through surgery.
22:39
And then this kid went off to college.
22:40
Only to regret all of it,
22:44
which is what the data actually show, right?
22:47
That if you just leave these kids alone, right?
22:49
They typically grow out of this
22:50
because this is a phase.
22:52
You don't lean into the delusion, it's a phase.
22:54
Both of my sons right now, four and three,
22:57
think that they are dinosaurs.
22:59
Imagine if I started treating them as such.
23:01
As opposed to feeding them food,
23:02
I just threw a live goat in their room
23:05
and said, all right, tear it to shreds, eat it, right?
23:09
If I accepted growls
23:10
as opposed to the English language in my house, right?
23:13
I mean, and then in the ultimate kind of example,
23:17
Stockholm syndrome, what someone would do,
23:19
this student who went on to regret
23:21
this quote unquote transition,
23:23
they go back to their abuser,
23:25
which in this case is Andy Stanley's church,
23:26
to express their deeper grit
23:28
over the fact that they had done this,
23:30
which the church had technically facilitated
23:32
along with the parents.
23:33
Now, Kitchen is describing this as the ultimate win,
23:36
the ultimate win.
23:38
This super confused student went off to college,
23:41
they regretted all the things that we helped them do,
23:43
and then they came back to us,
23:45
which is what a good abuser would like.
23:47
The abuser loves it when their abuse
23:49
come back to them for help, right?
23:51
It's the ultimate, I think, what was it?
23:53
Stalin or Lenin, one of them,
23:55
they're at some event or something like that,
23:57
and they wanted to prove
23:58
why they were doing the things that they were doing.
24:00
So he brought in a chicken,
24:01
and he proceeds to pluck the chicken of its feathers live,
24:04
you know, torturing the chicken, right?
24:07
Puts the chicken down,
24:08
and then gets the chicken to come back to him
24:09
because he hand-fed it, right?
24:11
So he abuses this animal to make a point,
24:14
but the animal comes back as it needs to be fed.
24:17
But anyone with a functioning brain
24:19
is aware enough to say that this begs the ultimate question.
24:22
What if the student didn't regret it?
24:25
What if this person didn't go on to regret
24:30
what they had done?
24:31
You see, because the kid's level of regret on,
24:36
or non-regret, doesn't change what capital T truth is,
24:41
nor does it change godly morality,
24:44
'cause they're, again, using this as an example of,
24:46
oh, this family did so well,
24:48
and the student did the right thing they came back to us,
24:50
and we set ourselves up to be
24:52
the people that they came back to.
24:54
Such a horrible, awful situation.
24:56
So I have several main points on this.
24:58
The first is you can see from this video
25:00
that the staff at Andy Stanley's church are true believers, okay?
25:04
These satanic morons truly believe
25:09
that someone can be born in the wrong body, okay?
25:13
So follow me here, this is very important.
25:15
Andy Stanley's staff, especially this Brit kitchen guy,
25:18
think that somebody can be born in the wrong body.
25:21
And if they believe that,
25:24
then they truly believe that God makes mistakes.
25:28
That God is fallible.
25:32
Think about that.
25:35
One of the largest churches in America
25:37
thinks that God makes mistakes.
25:41
That when he made them male and female,
25:43
that didn't quite apply to this anecdotal example,
25:46
to this one individual child, right?
25:48
Little kid was born, I can't remember which ender
25:53
they switched from or was trying to switch from.
25:55
Born a boy, but actually they were a girl.
25:57
They knew it since they were five.
25:59
God, you swung and missed on this one.
26:01
That's Andy Stanley's church's stance, right?
26:05
Another point here is the title of today's episode, right?
26:07
You may have noticed and thought it was a typo.
26:09
Andy Stanley's church instructs children's workers to
26:12
scare, quote, affirm end of scare, quote,
26:15
scare, quote, trans kids end of scare, quote.
26:18
Okay, so why two separate sets of scare quotes?
26:21
Because affirm in their parlance
26:25
is the opposite of truth, okay?
26:27
So they are affirming something they know to be a lie, right?
26:31
You know, if their brain is functioning properly.
26:35
And also because, quote, unquote, trans kids is not a thing.
26:39
There is no such thing as a trans kid
26:43
because to be trans means you are transgender
26:46
means that you are outside of gender.
26:49
That's the ethmology of what we're talking about here.
26:51
You are outside of gender.
26:53
So what you're saying is that a kid is outside
26:56
of the normal biological chromosomal binary of male and female
27:01
which again, there's no bigger lie that Satan
27:05
can't get you to believe aside from the fact
27:07
that God doesn't exist and, you know, Jesus wasn't here
27:10
to die for your sins, then that there's no such thing
27:12
as sexual dimorphism or that sexual,
27:17
your sex, your sex can be changed in some way.
27:21
That, you know, whatever your chromosomes say,
27:24
that's not what matters, what you say
27:26
or what people say about you matters.
27:29
There's no such thing.
27:30
Kids are born either girls or boys.
27:33
There are people that have, you know, intersex
27:35
or have other issues.
27:36
I talked about this with the two male boxers
27:38
that beat up a bunch of women in the Olympics
27:39
to win gold medals and things like that.
27:41
But just because there might be ambiguous genitalia
27:44
or an internal penis or things like that,
27:45
it doesn't change that your sex is one thing or another.
27:49
Another point, and this is obvious, it should be obvious,
27:53
it is not loving to aid a gender confused child
27:58
towards their own destruction.
28:00
I use this example a lot.
28:03
If you're a small child, let's say you're a soft parenting
28:06
person, right, because you get, you know,
28:08
your theology from, you know, doofy moms on the internet.
28:11
And you, I'm never gonna yell at my kid.
28:14
I'm never gonna spank my kid.
28:15
I'm never gonna do any of those things, right?
28:18
And your kid starts taking off towards oncoming traffic,
28:21
right, you're at the park and he starts taking off
28:23
towards the highway, right?
28:25
And you decide it just wouldn't be loving
28:28
for me to yell at that child to stop them.
28:30
And I certainly am not gonna run over there
28:32
and grab them physically and stop them from doing
28:35
what they want to do, stop them from living their truth
28:38
and their truth is that they can run into traffic
28:40
and be fine.
28:41
You're a terrible person if you believe that.
28:44
You're an awful, evil, deeply confused or deeply ignorant,
28:49
fool, if you believe that.
28:52
That's not loving.
28:53
That's one of the clubs that people try to bash people with
28:56
on this LGBTQ issue is that we have to love these people
29:00
through their sin.
29:02
Now, we are to love our neighbor as ourself,
29:06
but if we are diluting ourselves,
29:08
how is it exactly that we can help our neighbor?
29:11
If we are buying into the delusion
29:13
that a little girl can become a little boy,
29:16
how exactly are we to love those people through that process?
29:19
'Cause what I can tell you is you can only love people
29:22
by telling them the truth.
29:24
If somebody is drinking themselves blind every single day
29:28
and you refuse to tell them that what they're doing
29:31
is destroying them, eventually going to kill them,
29:33
destroying all the relationships around them,
29:35
you're not loving that person.
29:36
What would be loving is to put some relational chips
29:39
in the center of the table and say,
29:41
brother, you're drinking way too much.
29:42
This is a problem and you gotta stop
29:44
and I'm here to help you.
29:45
That's what loving is.
29:47
My last point on this, Andy Stanley is a heretic.
29:51
Okay?
29:52
He is a false teacher and a deeply, deeply dangerous man.
29:57
He's a snake.
29:58
He is a wolf in sheep's clothing, okay?
30:01
I keep hearing this about pastors and about people
30:04
in public is, ah, you know, just eat the meat
30:06
and spit out the bones.
30:08
You can't do that with Andy Stanley at this point.
30:10
So I don't care if you like some of his other books
30:12
or if you've gotten some value from his teachings
30:14
in the past or something like that,
30:16
he has disqualified himself as a teacher.
30:20
Okay?
30:21
And he will give an account someday for what he's done.
30:25
And I think it is fair at this point, okay?
30:27
Because again, you can judge fruit and you can do all these things.
30:29
And it's, you know, it's really kind of like,
30:31
it's kind of touchy to get into judging salvation and all that.
30:35
I'm not convinced Andy Stanley's even a Christian, right?
30:37
Cause obviously if he's a heretic, a false teacher,
30:40
a deeply dangerous man, a snake, a wolf in sheep's clothing,
30:42
if I'm right about that, that means he's not a believer.
30:45
So there's some prayer that needs to be involved in this.
30:48
Pray that Andy Stanley comes to faith in Christ.
30:51
That's the first thing, right?
30:53
You should pray that for guys that are currently an Isis
30:55
in Boko Haram, you should pray that for, you know,
30:58
the purple haired, you know, weirdos that are going down
31:00
to the, you know, the city council meetings
31:02
and spewing all this left-wing nonsense,
31:04
you should pray for those people 'cause they're lost.
31:06
They're lost.
31:07
They need the savior.
31:08
Pray for his salvation, then pray for his repentance.
31:13
Pray that he can turn that Leviathan that he has created,
31:15
North Point Ministries and North Point Church,
31:17
that he can turn it back towards God,
31:19
back towards the Bible.
31:21
And then tertiary, you should pray that if he doesn't do
31:24
those first two things, that he should lose his ministry.
31:27
I'm not saying pray for his death or any of those things,
31:29
it's not what I'm saying, clear, to be clear.
31:31
That's not what I'm saying.
31:32
But you should pray that he loses his role at that church
31:35
and that all the people that he has romanced
31:37
and put in, you know, in a trance in his church,
31:40
that they would leave and go other places.
31:43
They can be fed by the Word of God
31:44
and fed by actual shepherds that don't just wanna sell
31:47
a whole bunch of books and don't just wanna create all these,
31:50
these big conferences and into, you know,
31:51
kind of create their own gravitational pool,
31:54
but they just wanna be led
31:55
on the process of sanctification, right?
31:57
That's what we should pray for.
31:59
So pray for Andy Stanley to become a Christian,
32:01
pray for him to repent and if not,
32:03
pray that he loses his church.
32:04
It's an incumbent, it's incumbent upon us
32:07
to do that at this point.
32:09
Like, we're gonna keep reporting on Andy Stanley
32:12
as we keep learning about things that's happening
32:13
in his church.
32:14
And if this makes you uncomfortable or squishy,
32:16
stop listening to the show.
32:18
Hey guys, real quick.
32:19
I know a lot of you guys struggle
32:20
with getting a consistent workout routine.
32:22
So wherever you get to, whether that's the global gym
32:24
or your home gym or even like a parking lot somewhere,
32:27
you get there and then you don't know what to do.
32:29
You get there and you're just like,
32:30
well, what in the world am I supposed to do today
32:31
and just kinda meander around?
32:33
And maybe you're trying to get ready
32:34
for like a mountain hunt in the fall
32:36
or you've got a mud race coming up
32:38
or you just wanna be generally a strong and fit dude
32:40
for normal everyday life,
32:42
but you don't have a program that's tailored for you.
32:45
I want you guys to stop wasting time at the gym
32:47
or wherever you're working out
32:48
and just settling for that same old routine
32:50
that you've always done.
32:51
It's time for you to get a guide
32:53
that will help you reach your fitness goals.
32:55
And that's why I wanna introduce you
32:56
to my friends over at MountainTough.
32:58

33:47
All good.
33:48
Minimal gear and body weight programs.
33:50

34:41
I know I just did the MountainTough ad there.
34:43
Voice has been in a little bit of a bad place.
34:45
I appreciate some of the prayers.
34:47
So I was supposed to read that ad live,
34:49
but honestly guys, like just as a little second commercial,
34:52
the MountainTough ad is literally the best fitness app
34:55
I've ever seen in my entire life.
34:57
And I've used so many different ones.
34:59
Like they've had a bunch of guys from my audience
35:01

35:04
It's right there in the show notes guys like dude,
35:06
it's just awesome.
35:07
Like just give it a shot for me.
35:09
Do it for me, okay?
35:09
Give it a shot.
35:10
All right, let's get into the quick hitters here.
35:12
The bipartisan and feminism fueled push
35:14
to allow proxy voting in Congress.
35:16
So I literally added this one right before recording.
35:19
Today I'm recording this about six days before it comes out.
35:21
So if anything explodes, sorry,
35:23
I'll talk about it next time I guess.
35:25
But when I first heard about this,
35:27
I was like, that's kind of dumb.
35:29
And then the more I kept thinking about this story,
35:31
the more it kind of [inaudible] me off.
35:32
So this is according to NPR.
35:33
How often do I cite them on the show?
35:35
But it's important.
35:36
Two moms brought business on the floor
35:38
of the House of Representatives to a grinding halt on Tuesday.
35:41
This would have been Tuesday of last week guys.
35:42
Over their push to allow remote voting for new parents.
35:46
We said don't F with moms representative Brittany Peterson
35:49
of Colorado said on the steps of the U.S.
35:52
Capitol alongside representative Anna Paulina Luna,
35:55
a Republican from Florida.
35:56
So just quick aside, Brittany Peterson,
35:57
she sounds like a lovely lady, doesn't she?
35:59
She's a Democrat from Colorado because of course,
36:01
and then Anna Paulina Luna is a Republican from Florida
36:04
back to the NPR reporting.
36:06
We worked as a team, Luna said.
36:08
And I think that today is a pretty historical day
36:11
for the entire conference and showing that the body
36:13
has decided that parents deserve a voice in Washington
36:15
and also to the importance of female members
36:17
having a vote in Washington DC.
36:20
Luna and Peterson have been working to pass legislation
36:22
to allow new parents to vote by proxy for 12 weeks
36:25
around the birth of a new child.
36:27
Luna tried several different tactics
36:28
to get the bipartisan bill passed.
36:30
House Speaker Mike Johnson, Republican Louisiana
36:32
originally refused to put the bill on the floor.
36:34
So Luna teamed up with Democrats to bypass
36:36
the speaker and to force a vote.
36:38
So I remember I got this little thing from Fox News
36:40
that said, procedural vote is causing issues
36:44
for the Trump legislation, blah, blah.
36:45
And I read it, it was super confusing.
36:47
I was like, what exactly did they do?
36:48
But basically, Republicans sided with a bunch of Democrats
36:51
to get this on the floor because essentially they want
36:55
proxy voting for members of Congress
36:57
that are around the time they're having a baby.
36:59
So right before they have a baby, right after they have a baby,
37:02
and they get initially, I was like,
37:03
this isn't that big a deal.
37:04
I don't know why they ground the business of the house
37:09
to a halt for something like this.
37:10
But then the more I thought about it,
37:12
I was like, this is actually pretty bad.
37:13
So I wanna go to my big takeaways here, I have several.
37:15
The first is this, if you allow proxy voting for women
37:19
that just had babies, you will 100% expand that
37:23
to other things in the future because duh,
37:25
that's exactly how these things go.
37:27
You kind of sneak in what you wanna do
37:29
with kind of a hard case or a case it's easy for people
37:33
to kind of wrap their hearts around and things like that.
37:35
But then later, it'll be like, ah, well,
37:36
I sprained my ankle back in my home states,
37:39
I can't vote in Congress, I'll do it via proxy.
37:41
And you know, we'll just go right into my next big takeaway here.
37:46
If you can't show up to work 146.7 times per year,
37:50
146.7 days per year, then don't take the job.
37:53
Why 146.7?
37:55
Because that's the average number of days
37:58
that a house of representatives member has to show up
38:00
because that's how many days they're in session, okay?
38:03
That's the average number since 2001, or 2001, okay?
38:06
So almost a quarter of a century, okay?
38:09
You go to work 146.7 days a year.
38:13
How does that sound guys?
38:15
Guys work in rotating shifts.
38:17
Guys work in 300 plus days of your house, that sound, right?
38:21
Someone [inaudible] and moaning that they have to show up
38:24
to work less than 150 days per year.
38:26
Next big takeaway, if between your family, your church,
38:31
your friend group, and your $174,000 a year starting salary,
38:36
you can't figure out how to show up to work,
38:38
then don't take the job.
38:39
If you're an entry-level congress person,
38:42
you make $174,000 a year and then it goes up from there, okay?
38:46
And then of course a lot of these people get super rich
38:48
and we don't know how, right?
38:50
How are you worth millions of dollars
38:51
but you only make a couple hundred grand a year?
38:53
But you have this web of people around you, right?
38:56
You know, when someone has a baby typically,
38:58
mom or mother-in-law shows up, you know,
39:00
typically your church kind of shows up
39:02
and helps out a little bit, your friends will kind of hop in.
39:05
And if you can't make it to work with all that being in mind
39:07
'cause $174,000 a year,
39:08
I think you can afford a babysitter, right?
39:10
For a few hours or something like that.
39:13
If you can't figure it out, don't take the job.
39:15
Next big takeaway, if you can't figure out
39:17
a way to be a mom and a congresswoman,
39:20
then just choose one and shut the hell up.
39:23
So a lot of people are like, well,
39:24
if you can't choose between, you know,
39:25
if you can't figure out how to be a mom
39:26
and a congresswoman, just be a mom, you get to choose that.
39:29
Now you'd be a terrible person if you chose congress
39:32
over your children, but you to get to choose that.
39:35
We are in a free country for now.
39:37
And so you can choose that.
39:38
Choose one and then shut your stupid mouth, okay?
39:42
Either be a mom or be a congresswoman
39:44
if you can't figure out how to be both, okay?
39:46
Now, if you thought I was ranting before,
39:48
here's my actual rant time.
39:50
These women, okay, and I'm using these women
39:52
pejoratively to talk about all women,
39:54
particularly in the West, across all industries,
39:56
not just Congress.
39:57
Y'all have demanded the man's job,
40:02
but then you are simultaneously demanding
40:04
to be treated like a lady.
40:05
How exactly does that work, okay?
40:10
So basically every industry that used to be dominated
40:13
by men, so Congress obviously used to be all men,
40:15
now women are in Congress, okay?
40:17
If you wanna be a woman and be in Congress, fine.
40:19
Like, I don't care, like if that's what you wanna be
40:21
as your job, there's some people are like,
40:22
women should only work in the home.
40:23
I'm not one of those guys.
40:24
If you wanna work outside the home,
40:25
if you wanna have a business,
40:26
if you wanna do all those things, that's fine.
40:27
But just remember, when Jesus was asked by the lawyer,
40:30
you know, what is the grace of all the laws?
40:32
What did He say?
40:33
Number one, love the Lord, your God,
40:34
with all your heart, soul, mind, and strength.
40:36
And then He said, the second is like it.
40:37
Love your neighbor as yourself.
40:39
Now we need to talk about what it means to be a neighbor.
40:41
Who is your primary neighbor?
40:42
Your spouse, that's your primary neighbor.
40:44
Who's your secondary neighbor?
40:45
Your children, who you have to raise up
40:47
in the nurture and admonition of the Lord.
40:49
Who's your tertiary neighbor?
40:50
Everybody else, including your job.
40:53
That's tertiary really important, okay?
40:55
So God, spouse, children, everything else,
40:59
and everyone else, okay?
41:01
That's what we're supposed to do.
41:02
But if you wanna put your job of a God, spouse,
41:05
and children, okay, you can do that.
41:08
But why do you want to get into all these male-dominated
41:12
spaces, you wanna be the corner office person,
41:14
you wanna be the CEO, you wanna be the one
41:16
elbowing your way into the conference
41:17
and all those types of things?
41:18
But then once you get in, you don't wanna be treated
41:20
like a man.
41:21
Because guess what?
41:24
When a woman has a baby, what does the man have to do?
41:29
Kid is about to work, right?
41:31
Some places give paternity leave,
41:33
and that's a positive thing.
41:34
But the man has to give an account someday
41:37
for how he has provided for his family.
41:39
Remember scripture, talking about,
41:41
he who does not provide for his family,
41:42
that does mean spiritually, but also means financially.
41:45
He who does not provide for his family
41:46
is worse than an unbeliever.
41:47
Where in scripture do we see that for women?
41:51
Where a woman who is a crappy mom and a crappy wife
41:53
and doesn't do well in the corner office job,
41:56
that she's gonna have to give an account someday for that,
41:58
and that if she does a crappy job and all that,
41:59
that she's worse than an unbeliever,
42:00
you won't find it 'cause it's not in there, right?
42:03
Man has to go to work.
42:04
So you wanna be in the manly space,
42:06
but then you don't wanna be treated like a man, okay?
42:08
And I just gotta be honest with you,
42:10
I am so fed up and tired with women talking about motherhood
42:13
as if they were storming the beaches of Normandy, okay?
42:16
So Bill Burr back in the day before he went
42:17
and woke in Hollywood, like he had this great joke
42:20
where these women, they're bending over at the waist
42:23
to put DVDs in the DVD player,
42:24
and they're talking as if they're a minor.
42:27
That's like under the earth,
42:29
shaking hands with the devil, getting black lung,
42:32
and that's somehow not nearly as hard as being a mother, right?
42:36
Look, being a mom is hard, right?
42:39
Most things that are worth it are hard
42:40
and early in a child's life.
42:42
It's the hardest because they need mom
42:44
more than they need anyone else, including dad, okay?
42:47
But the dad's gotta still work.
42:49
And so for you, if you want to punt on motherhood sum,
42:53
because you want to have a career,
42:56
you want to be a congressperson or all that,
42:58
okay, figure it out.
43:01
Stop complaining to me, stop telling the taxpayer
43:04
that we need to change everything that's happening
43:07
so that you don't have to show up to work and vote.
43:10
'Cause these women are like,
43:11
oh, well, you know, I want to represent my constituents,
43:13
they voted for me, they want me to vote.
43:14
Yeah, they voted for you
43:15
'cause they figured you were gonna show up to work.
43:17
You idiot?
43:18
Like what is, this isn't hard.
43:21
Like, you're not coming up with something new.
43:23
People are like, oh, we need to make Congress
43:25
a better place for women.
43:26
It's like, what else do you want us to do?
43:28
Do you want it to be incumbent upon us to provide,
43:32
you know, a nail salon so that you can get your nails
43:35
and then your hair did while you're voting
43:37
because that would be even more convenient for you
43:39
as a woman?
43:40
Like, where exactly do you want us to stop?
43:43
Okay, again, you want to be a man,
43:45
you want to do the man stuff, you want to lead like a man,
43:48
you want to dominate male dominated areas,
43:50
but you don't want to be treated like a man.
43:53
Explain it to me like I'm five.
43:54
It's ridiculous.
43:55
All right, next quick hitter here,
43:57
the results of the most expensive,
43:58
statewide judicial race in US history.
44:00
So this is according to the Daily Wire on April the 2nd.
44:03
The Wisconsin Supreme Court remains ideologically liberal
44:06
after Tuesday's election.
44:07
This was Tuesday of last week,
44:09
while Florida voters retained two seats
44:10
for Republicans in the house.
44:12
Liberal judge Susan Crawford,
44:14
best of her conservative opponent,
44:15
Brad Schmiel, Shammell, whatever,
44:18
for a seat on the Badger State highest court
44:21
described as the most expensive judicial race
44:23
in US history, Democrats and Republicans
44:25
poured millions of dollars
44:26
into the crucial swing state contest.
44:28
Similarly estimates say more than $100 million was donated.
44:32
Billionaires George Soros for Crawford
44:34
and Elon Musk for Schmiel were key contributors.
44:37
The Wisconsin Supreme Court learned
44:38
a lean conservative for years,
44:40
but a 2023 election flipped it
44:42
to a four three liberal majority.
44:44
The election was largely impacted by the left's push
44:46
to make abortion the central issue
44:48
after Roe B. Wade was overturned.
44:49
With Crawford's win, the court remains split
44:52
between four liberal justices and three conservative justices,
44:55
congressional redistricting and abortion
44:57
were both major issues in the campaign.
44:59
So here's my big takeaway on this one.
45:02
It would be foolish for conservatives and Republicans,
45:05
which are not necessarily the same thing,
45:07
to wrestle in their laurels right now,
45:09
because the left is piping mad and they are mega motivated.
45:13
So there was some concern that the Republicans
45:17
might lose those seats in Florida,
45:18
so it's good that they kept that.
45:19
But basically what we're seeing
45:21
is that the four three majority of the Supreme Court
45:23
in Wisconsin is going to allow for redistricting,
45:26
so they're going to expand certain districts
45:29
that are really, you know, chock full,
45:32
so like, you know, Wisconsin and our Wisconsin Milwaukee,
45:35
like these places that are super, super deep blue,
45:37
they wanna expand those areas out into redder areas
45:40
so that those red areas will become either purple,
45:42
which are gonna be easier for them to win, okay?
45:45
That's what's gonna happen.
45:47
We see people complaining about Elon Musk
45:49
putting a bunch of money in this,
45:50
but they don't really wanna talk about George Soros
45:53
putting money into this,
45:54
or the fact that George Soros has funded things like this
45:56
all over the country to make Supreme Courts and DA's offices
46:00
and all these things super, duper left wing.
46:02
And here's the other thing.
46:04
You kind of lose your country when the judiciary is partisan.
46:10
That's kind of what happens,
46:14
because the judiciary is supposed to be nonpartisan.
46:17
Now, obviously even on the Supreme Court,
46:19
it's like the people that were put on there
46:21
by Barack Obama all tend to vote a certain way.
46:24
The Republican appointees typically are the ones
46:26
that are all over the place, right?
46:27
But still ideologically, they tend to bend a certain way.
46:31
But this race, they took all of that facade away, okay?
46:35
This was a liberal versus a conservative,
46:37
and that's how it was billed.
46:38
That's how each of the candidates talked about it.
46:40
That's how all the majority of the campaigns
46:43
and the flyers and the commercials,
46:45
how they talked about it.
46:46
We need to keep our liberal majority.
46:49
So what these people aren't doing is they're not looking
46:51
at the constitution of the state of Wisconsin
46:54
and trying to see what the people meant when they framed that.
46:57
And then if they don't like it,
46:58
starting to judge on amendments or allow for things like that,
47:02
they're saying, here are my political priors
47:04
and I want to put that on top of what's happening
47:05
in this state where I now have power.
47:08
And look, this woman that just won Susan Crawford,
47:11
she used to be a lawyer for Planned Parenthood.
47:14
She sees a terrible person.
47:15
She's an awful terrible person, not a Christian.
47:18
We need to pray for this woman
47:19
that she converts and repents, wouldn't that be something?
47:21
She converts to Christ, repents and then all of a sudden
47:24
that majority swings back conservative.
47:27
Not, hopefully that happens, not super likely to happen.
47:30
But yeah, the amount of money that was poured into this race
47:32
tells you how important it was.
47:34
But for conservatives and Republicans,
47:36
I think a lot of them think that the Trump mandate
47:39
is bigger than it actually is.
47:41
'Cause what the Trump mandate gets you
47:42
is a couple of years without really being checked.
47:46
But here's the thing with these executive orders,
47:47
most of which I agree with what President Trump is doing.
47:51
If it's not backed up with legislation,
47:52
when you lose control of the House
47:54
or if you lose control of the House,
47:55
your next two years are gonna be bogged down
47:57
with impeachment hearings and different things like that.
48:00
It's gonna be a terrible idea.
48:02
And if you don't win the presidency again in 2028,
48:05
all those executive orders,
48:06
just like what Trump did on the first day in office
48:08
with Biden's executive orders,
48:10
they just fart in the wind, they just disappear.
48:13
And so you can win in the short term,
48:15
but in order to win in the long term,
48:17
you can't just sit back on your laurels.
48:18
So conservatives and Republicans need to make sure
48:20
that they stay aware of that.
48:22
All right, next week, we're here.
48:23
Former UFC heavyweight champion came to Alaska
48:25
as being sentenced to five years in prison.
48:27
So this is according to NBC News on March the 25th.
48:30
Former UFC champ came to Alaska as a sentence Monday
48:33
at an emotionally fraught hearing
48:34
to five years in prison for an attempted murder
48:37
of a man accused of molesting his son.
48:40
Alaska as 42 pleaded guilty to attempted murder,
48:43
felony assault and related gun charges
48:45
according to the Santa Clara District Attorney's Office.
48:48
The case stemmed from a 2022 high speed chase
48:50
in Northern California in which Velasquez
48:52
fired a handgun at a truck.
48:54
Prosecutors say Velasquez started shooting at an intersection
48:57
and then followed the truck for 11 miles through San Jose.
49:01
Three people were in the truck,
49:03
but Velasquez was targeting Harry Galarte, 46 years old,
49:06
who was accused of molesting Velasquez's son.
49:09
Galarte's stepfather was shot in the incident
49:12
in the District Attorney's Office said.
49:16
Galarte is awaiting trial on felony child molestation charges
49:19
and has denied the allegation.
49:21
The District Attorney's Office recommended
49:22
that Velasquez be sentenced to 30 years in prison
49:25
accusing him of trying to murder
49:26
all three people in the truck.
49:27
NBC Bay Area reported that Santa Clara County
49:30
Superior Court judge Arthur Boca Negra
49:32
described Velasquez's case as unique,
49:34
instead it could not be considered in a vacuum.
49:37
Velasquez's sentence includes credit for time already served,
49:40
so he is likely to spend about a year in prison
49:43
the station reported.
49:44
So he gets a five-year sentence, but time already served.
49:47
It's like 150 days or, sorry, no, it was like,
49:50
I think it was 450 days or something, he's got to serve.
49:51
So a little bit of year, a year, year and a half,
49:53
that type of thing.
49:55
So I remember when came Velasquez was first arrested.
49:58
So I actually talked about it on the show
50:02
when came Velasquez was first arrested.
50:04
And at the time, everyone in the MMA community
50:07
was coming to Kane's defense.
50:10
Because of the person he was trying to kill.
50:12
So I think his son was four or five at the time.
50:15
This was a daycare worker, a male that molested his son.
50:18
The guy gets arrested, he's released,
50:21
and as soon as Kane finds out he's released
50:23
and finds out about it, he goes to murder the guy.
50:28
He goes to an intersection, he tries to shoot him,
50:30
ends up shooting the guy's stepfather,
50:32
and then again, they go on an 11-mile high-speed chase
50:35
where Kane Velasquez could have killed tons of people, right?
50:39
Car accidents, pileups, things like that.
50:41
A bunch of people could have died because Kane Velasquez,
50:43
but they're like, "Hey, man, what would you do
50:45
if somebody had done that to your kid?"
50:47
And again, you don't know until you're in that position.
50:49
But there were people that because they agree
50:51
with who he was attacking, they thought
50:52
all of his actions were fine.
50:54
And then there was this, you know,
50:56
the continuation of the hashtag free Kane movement
50:58
after the sentencing, people couldn't believe
51:00
that he was possibly sentenced to prison for this.
51:02
But my big takeaway on this one is that
51:04
you might agree with what Kane did, okay?
51:08
You may have even done something similar
51:10
if it had been you and his shoes.
51:13
But Kane Velasquez got off easy here, and he shouldn't have.
51:17
Kane Velasquez, we know for sure was trying to kill one person,
51:20
but perhaps the prosecutor was right.
51:22
He was trying to kill up to three people that day,
51:24
murdering them in cold blood.
51:25
Now, regardless of what those people did,
51:29
that's not Kane's role to do that.
51:32
Now, had Kane found this happening in the act of it happening,
51:38
and he had beaten the guy up and the guy had happened to die,
51:41
I don't even think he gets charged with manslaughter.
51:44
Now, again, it would have been a little bit different.
51:45
He formed a heavyweight champion in the world
51:47
fighting a non-trained fighter.
51:49
You know, that can kind of get squirrely
51:51
depending on the prosecutor and he's in the state of California.
51:53
So who the heck knows how that would go?
51:55
But the thing is, is Kane Velasquez
51:57
was super in the wrong about this.
51:59
And you know who agrees with that?
52:02
Kane Velasquez does.
52:03
Kane Velasquez thinks he should be free,
52:06
but not for the same reason that the hashtag free Kane people
52:09
think he just wants to be free
52:11
because of course you would rather be free
52:12
than to be in prison in California, right?
52:15
Now, I think Kane's gonna do just fine in prison.
52:17
Just gonna go out on him here.
52:18
I don't think anyone's gonna be messing with Kane Velasquez.
52:22
But again, this was not his role to do that.
52:24
And he himself said publicly that what he did was wrong.
52:28
And so guys, if you're one of these free Kane people,
52:31
you're disagreeing with Kane Velasquez here.
52:33
Kane Velasquez now, but he's not angry now
52:36
that he's had years to think about it,
52:37
said what he did that day was wrong.
52:40
And here's another thing.
52:42
Let's say Kane's faking it.
52:44
Let's say Kane doesn't actually believe that.
52:46
Let's say Kane is just biting his time,
52:47
and when he gets out of prison,
52:48
he's gonna find that guy and he's gonna finish the job.
52:51
Are you free Kane people?
52:52
Gonna be super hashtag free Kane at that point?
52:56
Something to think about.
52:57
All right, next quick inter here,
52:58
domestic terrorist targeting Tesla drivers, vehicles,
53:00
and dealerships.
53:01
So this is according to the New York Post on March the 20th.
53:03
Three people accused of destroying Tesla cars
53:05
and charging stations are facing up to 20 years in prison
53:07
for domestic terrorism.
53:09
US Attorney General Pam Bondi announced Thursday.
53:11
The days of committing crimes without consequence of ended,
53:14
Bondi said in a statement, let this be a warning.
53:16
If you join this wave of domestic terrorism
53:18
against Tesla properties,
53:19
the Department of Justice will put you behind bars, she added.
53:22
So there's a bunch of analyzing and violence.
53:25
You've seen this.
53:25
You've seen everything from cyber trucks being keyed,
53:29
to people ramming into these things,
53:31
people firebombing Tesla dealerships.
53:33
But there's one video that I saw recently
53:36
where I'm like, this is gonna be bad
53:39
and it's going to get worse.
53:41
I saw a video of a Tesla
53:42
where this person was like in a green sedan
53:44
or something like that.
53:45
They were trying to run the Tesla off the road
53:46
and then eventually they pulled in front of the Tesla
53:48
kind of, you know, cock-eyed and then they parked.
53:50
They got out and they,
53:53
Tesla driver had their window down,
53:54
wasn't an idiot,
53:55
but they started punching the Tesla driver.
53:58
I think it was a 60 something year old woman, right?
54:00
Beat her up.
54:02
Well, we will eventually see, and I think Matt Walsh
54:04
was the first person to point this out
54:05
that I heard say it, but I think he's absolutely right.
54:07
We will 100% see a Tesla driver dragged out
54:10
of their vehicle and murdered.
54:12
It's gonna happen.
54:13
Because, you know, even though people are being arrested,
54:16
even though, you know, they're being charged
54:18
spinning upon the state they're in,
54:19
the federal charges, you know, maybe usurped,
54:21
there's some issues there.
54:23
And also we don't see any Democrats
54:24
and that's what all these people are,
54:25
every single one of these people are Democrats
54:27
that are doing these things.
54:28
A lot of these people are paid agitators
54:30
and we don't see the Democratic Party coming out and saying,
54:32
yeah, you shouldn't do that.
54:34
Stop analyzing cars, you derelict.
54:36
What is wrong with you, right?
54:38
They may not like Elon Musk.
54:40
They may like it whenever Tesla stock takes a tumble,
54:43
but to be pro-vandalism and violence, you know,
54:46
as I'm saying it, I'm like, well, let's go back to 2020.
54:49
George Floyd overdoses and dies in police custody.
54:51
And then the Democrats just sat back
54:53
and they actually Kamala Harris funded people
54:56
that were being arrested for destroying their own cities,
54:58
for hurting and killing people, you know,
55:00
funding them getting out of prison earlier, right?
55:03
Getting out of jail, bailin' 'em out, right?
55:05
So I guess we shouldn't be surprised
55:07
to see that Democrats are doing this.
55:08
And again, the violence is being orchestrated.
55:11
Right, so back in George Floyd's summer,
55:13
the summer of love with $2 billion worth of damage
55:15
and a few dozen people that were murdered,
55:17
there would be pallets of bricks that would just show up
55:19
and random street corners in major cities across the US,
55:23
which begs question, who paid for those bricks?
55:26
Who paid for the delivery?
55:28
Right?
55:29
All these people where they're just like,
55:30
oh, these are just protests that just spun up.
55:31
Nope, these are orchestrated and paid for, but guess what?
55:35
There are very low IQ copycat people
55:37
that don't understand that this violence,
55:39
that this vandalism is being orchestrated.
55:42
They're just gonna go along with it
55:44
'cause they see other idiots doing it.
55:45
And they're like, what, I'm an idiot.
55:47
Let me put on a ball of clava
55:48
and then I'll go do the exact same thing.
55:50
Now, obviously it's still rich
55:52
that we see these leftist extreme types,
55:55
these environmentalist people
55:57
attacking the creator of the most successful
55:59
electric car company in the history of mankind
56:01
and also the guy who's trying to save humanity
56:04
because of what we're doing to, quote unquote,
56:07
destroy the planet by taking humanity to Mars, right?
56:11
That's the guy they're attacking.
56:12
Why?
56:13
Because he wore a MAGA hat,
56:15
because he supported Donald Trump,
56:16
because he helped coordinate getting Donald Trump
56:18
on the Joe Rogan experience.
56:20
It's like, all right, well, we gotta tear this guy down.
56:21
So I'll go to my big takeaway on this one.
56:24
When the right boycott's a brand,
56:26
we just stopped giving them our money.
56:29
When the left boycotts a brand,
56:31
they try to physically destroy it
56:32
and the people using it.
56:34
So you wanna know about the differences
56:36
between right and left?
56:37
There's a stark difference right there.
56:39
Conservatives don't like Bud Light
56:41
because they made a custom can for Dylan Mulvaney
56:43
and they basically said, yeah, we're pro,
56:45
this old trans nonsense stuff.
56:46
You know what we did?
56:47
We stopped buying Bud Light
56:48
or if your kid rocked, you shot him.
56:50
You know, shot a bunch of cases of Bud Light, all right?
56:53
Now, my issue is with the right
56:54
when we boycott something
56:55
because we don't have the stamina for it.
56:57
So I've talked about this a lot of different times.
56:59
All you guys out there supporting Disney,
57:02
don't come to me and complain about the content
57:04
that Disney puts out there
57:05
because they have a not so secret gay agenda
57:07
and they are trying to infiltrate the mind of your child.
57:10
And here you are with your Disney Plus subscription
57:13
and you're spending thousands and thousands,
57:16
sometimes tens of thousands of dollars
57:18
to take them on a Disney cruise
57:20
or to one of their theme parks.
57:21
You're fueling the thing that you hate, you idiot.
57:25
What is wrong with you?
57:26
So that's my issue with the right
57:28
is we don't take our boycotts far enough.
57:30
I still do not support Netflix
57:31
because of the Cuties movie on there,
57:33
which is a pedophilic movie
57:35
that allows for grown men to be sexually aroused
57:38
by the dancing and goings on of minor girls, little girls, right?
57:43
But with the left, they can't be all done, right?
57:46
They take their boycott seriously.
57:48
They try to destroy the brand.
57:50
They're not just gonna start buying a different beer.
57:53
They're not just gonna get a subscription
57:55
to bent key.
57:56
They want to destroy the entire apparatus.
57:59
So again, not all worldviews are the same,
58:02
not all ways of comporting ourselves are the same.
58:04
And this is a great example
58:05
of how the left operates and what they actually believe.
58:08
All right, a couple more quick hitters left.
58:10
RFK juniors fight to keep Americans
58:11
from buying junk food with food stamps.
58:13
This is according to Fortune.
58:15
According to entrepreneur and White House advisor,
58:18
Kaylee Means, who was also present at the event,
58:20
the Trump administration is suggesting states submit waivers
58:23
to the USDA to take soda out of the supplemental
58:25
nutrition assistance program, that's food stamps,
58:28
as a first step before moving onto candy
58:30
and other confectionaries.
58:31
Kennedy is working to convince other state governors
58:33
to take similar action according to Means.
58:35
Bobby is talking to at least 15 governors
58:38
to convince them to take more similar action Means said.
58:41
HHS does not have the authority to approve these waivers,
58:45
but Kennedy is lending his political cachet
58:48
to build momentum.
58:50
So a lot's been made about this.
58:51
How dare they change this program and all that?
58:53
But did you guys know that the number one product
58:57
bought with food stamps by a wide margin is super sugary soda?
59:02
Did you know that?
59:03
My big takeaway on this one.
59:05
No, RFK junior is not trying to make it
59:08
to where you can't buy junk food with your money.
59:12
He's trying to make it to where you can't buy junk food
59:16
with my money.
59:17
See the difference?
59:20
Because people that are on food stamps,
59:23
those food stamps are provided by my tax paying dollars,
59:27
my dollars, okay?
59:29
And most of these people have income from other places.
59:33
So what RFK is saying is, okay, this money, these stamps,
59:36
this allowance essentially that you're given
59:39
from the US federal government paid for by me,
59:41
you can't buy crap with it.
59:44
Because guess what?
59:45
You buy crap like, you know, Dr. Pepper and talkies
59:49
and gas station donuts and gummy bears.
59:53
Guess what also that's gonna cause?
59:55
That's gonna cause you to have a bunch of health issues,
59:58
right?
59:58
Regardless of your genetic structure,
1:00:00
that's gonna cause major health issues for you.
1:00:03
And then guess what?
1:00:04
We're expected to pay for your healthcare, right?
1:00:08
This universal healthcare push,
1:00:10
Obamacare, all those types of things.
1:00:11
So the federal government is aiding and abetting you
1:00:15
and destroying your physical health.
1:00:16
And then the taxpayers are coming and provide you
1:00:19
with the insurance so that you can go get treatment
1:00:22
for something that you could have prevented yourself, okay?
1:00:25
So I am super pro at RFK is trying to do here.
1:00:29
Yeah, if we're providing you food stamps,
1:00:30
you have to eat real food.
1:00:32
Like, let's just make it that easy.
1:00:34
They're called food stamps, you have to buy food.
1:00:37
Doritos are not food.
1:00:38
Can you eat them and not die immediately?
1:00:40
Yes.
1:00:42
But it is poison.
1:00:44
If your diet is Doritos, you will not make it far.
1:00:47
But yeah, if you wanna buy chicken, beef, broccoli,
1:00:52
bottled water, something like that, sure.
1:00:55
I am totally fine helping fund that.
1:00:57
Now, I'm kind of anti food stamps to begin with
1:01:00
because I'm okay with temporary food stamps.
1:01:02
Hey, let's get you back on your feet.
1:01:04
But hey, we're gonna have you on food stamps
1:01:05
for decades at a time.
1:01:07
Government assistance for decades at a time.
1:01:09
It's part of the reason why we're technically
1:01:10
already bankrupt as a country.
1:01:11
But no, he's not trying to make it where you can't buy,
1:01:14
junk food with your own money.
1:01:15
He's trying to make it to where you can't buy it
1:01:16
with my money and that is totally super duper fair.
1:01:20
All right, last one here.
1:01:21
The sports moment of the year, okay?
1:01:25
Now, I wanted to talk about this on a previous episode,
1:01:28
but it kind of ran out of time.
1:01:30
And I was supposed to have Mark Wayne Mullen on here.
1:01:32
Dude's been pretty busy up there at the Senate.
1:01:33
You know, Trump hasn't run in all over the place
1:01:35
so I was gonna talk to him about it.
1:01:37
But I do wanna set up what I'm talking about here
1:01:39
a little bit.
1:01:40
So just in case some of you have been living under a rock
1:01:42
and haven't seen any of the clips or anything like that, okay?
1:01:44
So let's go back to the 2020 Summer Olympics in Tokyo,
1:01:47
which technically happened in the summer of 2021.
1:01:50
Gable Stevenson, not Stevenson, right?
1:01:52
How many people have messed that up?
1:01:54
Gable Stevenson won the 125 kilogram gold medal
1:01:58
and freestyle wrestling, okay?
1:01:59
This was after he won the NCAA National Championship
1:02:02
earlier that same year, okay?
1:02:04
But he didn't just win the Olympic gold medal.
1:02:07
He wanted in absolutely spectacular and dramatic fashion.
1:02:12
So in the clip I'm about to show you,
1:02:13
Gable is down three to George's Geno Petrias Vili.
1:02:18
I practiced it and then I messed it up.
1:02:21
Petrias Vili, okay?
1:02:23
Geno Petrias Vili with less than 20 seconds left on the clock.
1:02:26
Okay, down three, less than 20 seconds left on the clock.
1:02:29
Okay, Petrias Vili was the defending Olympic champ.
1:02:32
And here's the thing, in this particular sport,
1:02:34
a takedown at the time is only worth two points.
1:02:37
He's down three with 20 seconds left to go.
1:02:39
So he's about to lose.
1:02:41
Geno's about to repeat as the Olympic champion.
1:02:43
And then this happens.
1:02:44
Shh, just.
1:02:49
Nice, George, and just diving in on the leg,
1:02:54
locking the leg down.
1:02:56
Experience, patience there from a guy
1:03:00
who's been in the heat of the battle
1:03:01
at these big international moments
1:03:03
more than the young American,
1:03:05
but now two there for Steveson.
1:03:07
Cutting him loose to come back to the center.
1:03:11
Has to have it here. - For five seconds.
1:03:13
- Fake snap, fake snap, fake snap, fake snap, fake snap,
1:03:18
fake snap, go get it, go get it, go get it.
1:03:21
- Trying to come around.
1:03:22
- Get the two, it's put on the board.
1:03:24
Gable, Steveson at the final second,
1:03:28
grabs gold for Team USA!
1:03:31
- All right, so for those of you that are just listening,
1:03:34
like he gets a takedown,
1:03:35
which is kind of a meaningless takedown, right?
1:03:38
And then he cuts him, right?
1:03:39
So under 10 seconds left to go.
1:03:41
And then he shoots, he keeps going,
1:03:44
and he finishes the takedown
1:03:46
with like less than a second left to go.
1:03:48
I mean, it was absolutely insane.
1:03:50
I remember watching it and just absolutely losing my mind
1:03:52
on episode 220 of this podcast,
1:03:54
go all the way back to 220.
1:03:56
Now that was what I said was my highlight
1:03:58
of the Tokyo games, my absolute highlight.
1:04:00
It was absolutely incredible.
1:04:01
And Gable was riding high after that.
1:04:03
He signed with the WWE, didn't quite work out.
1:04:05
He doesn't really have the personality for it.
1:04:07
He tried out for the NFL,
1:04:08
like I think it was with the Buffalo Bills,
1:04:10
and spring training a little bit,
1:04:11
not spring training, that's baseball.
1:04:13
But in their off-season stuff,
1:04:14
and he didn't make the cut or whatever.
1:04:16
But then a couple of years later,
1:04:18
decided he wanted to go back to the University of Minnesota
1:04:20
to compete again, he had another year of eligibility.
1:04:22
So he wanted to go back
1:04:23
and potentially win his third national title.
1:04:26
So I guess, and again, with the NIL and all that,
1:04:28
he was gonna make a bunch of money doing all that.
1:04:31
And he just dominated all season, okay?
1:04:33
All season, completely undefeated.
1:04:35
But not even that, he never gave up a single takedown.
1:04:38
And even if you're dominant as a wrestler,
1:04:40
if you don't give up a single takedown
1:04:42
in an entire season, like that's unheard of.
1:04:45
He crushed the Big Ten tournament to become champion.
1:04:48
And here he is in the NCAA tournament.
1:04:50
He just crushes his way all the way to the final.
1:04:52
Actually going back to the Big Ten tournament,
1:04:53
I think he was wrestling the heavyweight from Ohio State.
1:04:55
At one point, he's close to the edge of the mat.
1:04:56
He just kind of picks up the guy
1:04:57
and like throws him off the mat.
1:05:00
Like I'm just like, ah, bored, bored with you.
1:05:02
Go over there, okay?
1:05:03
So now we get to the final, okay?
1:05:05
The final is between him and Oklahoma State's
1:05:07
Wyatt Hendrickson, okay?
1:05:09
So Hendrickson had previously wrestled
1:05:10
at the Air Force Academy for four years.
1:05:13
So he got an extra year of eligibility because of COVID
1:05:15
and he was selected for the world class athlete program
1:05:18
at the Air Force, which allowed him to delay
1:05:20
his military service 'cause I forget what rank he is
1:05:23
'cause he's already in the military technically.
1:05:25
So he transfers to Oklahoma State
1:05:26
for his last year of eligibility.
1:05:28
He also went undefeated during the season.
1:05:31
He gets undefeated through the postseason tournament
1:05:33
and now he's in the NCAA tournament
1:05:36
and he makes it all the way through that tournament
1:05:38
and now he's in the final,
1:05:39
the national final against Gable Stevenson,
1:05:41
still with zeros in the lost column, okay?
1:05:44
So it's undefeated versus undefeated,
1:05:46
but no one was given Wyatt Hendrickson any chance here.
1:05:50
This is Gable Stevenson.
1:05:51
I remember watching it on Saturday night by myself
1:05:54
on the back porch with a lovely cigar,
1:05:56
undaunted-dot-life/ cigars with daunted-dot-life/ cigars.
1:06:00
And I almost went to bed 'cause I was like,
1:06:02
"Ah, you know, I kind of watched the matches I wanted to watch,
1:06:04
but hey, this is the last time Gable Stevenson's ever
1:06:06
gonna wrestle, you know, it's great to watch greatness."
1:06:08
And so I was like, "I just stayed up and watch it."
1:06:10
So Gable walks out first
1:06:12
and they had a really cool walk out for the wrestlers.
1:06:14
And then we've got Wyatt Henderson, he walks out.
1:06:17
He's got like a more than conquerors, like, you know,
1:06:20
Jesus, you know, shirt thing, American flag draped
1:06:22
over his shoulders and all that.
1:06:23
And he starts to walk around the mat
1:06:24
and Gable Stevenson gets in his face.
1:06:27
So Wyatt just said recently on an aerial Hulani show,
1:06:30
like, "Hey, what did Gable say to you?"
1:06:32
And he's like, "Look, I was in the zone,
1:06:33
it was real loud, I couldn't really hear him."
1:06:35
But I think he said something along the lines of like,
1:06:38
"I've got the gold medal, like, you can't wear that American flag
1:06:41
unless you win the gold medal and Olympics like that type of thing."
1:06:44
And you're talking to a dude that's in the military,
1:06:45
that's an undefeated wrestler.
1:06:46
And you're basically saying, "You shouldn't be here,
1:06:48
this is my mat."
1:06:49
And also that's my flag.
1:06:51
Yikes, fighting words, okay?
1:06:53
Donald Trump is there in the front row,
1:06:55
he's there with Mark Wayne Mullen.
1:06:56
Donald Trump was supposed to leave like two or three matches
1:06:58
before, but he's like, "What are you talking about?
1:07:00
I'm gonna watch the entire thing."
1:07:01
You wanted to watch the last match
1:07:03
because there was a kid who's technically in the Air Force
1:07:06
at the last match, like you have Jordan Burrows
1:07:09
and Daniel Cormier on the call.
1:07:11
And by the way, they did a spectacular job.
1:07:13
Like those two, like the guy who was doing color
1:07:15
whoever was doing the color commentary,
1:07:17
he would basically start at the beginning of the match
1:07:19
and then he would just turn it over to Jordan Burrows,
1:07:21
very decorated gold medal wrestler
1:07:23
from a national champion from Nebraska
1:07:26
and then Daniel Cormier, an accomplished wrestler
1:07:28
and former UFC lightweight and heavyweight champ
1:07:29
in his own right, they did spectacular.
1:07:31
So let's go to the beginning of the match.
1:07:33
So Wyatt from the very beginning is incredibly aggressive
1:07:36
from the very beginning, he's shooting a lot,
1:07:38
he's kind of like fainting and like setting up shots
1:07:40
and all that.
1:07:41
That doesn't really happen with Gable Steves
1:07:43
and very much because most people get in there
1:07:44
and they're like, "Oh shoot, please don't get embarrassed
1:07:46
in front of my entire family and all these fans," right?
1:07:49
But Gable was still in control, we go to the third period,
1:07:53
Gable is up four to two, okay?
1:07:55
Now, this year in the NCAA and moving forward,
1:07:58
takedowns are not, we're two points, right?
1:08:00
There were three points for a takedown.
1:08:02
But Gable Steveson's up four to two
1:08:05
and he hasn't given up a takedown all year, okay?
1:08:07
So this match is essentially over.
1:08:09
But I wanna go to a clip here of the final 30 seconds
1:08:13
of this match between Gable Steveson and Wyatt Hendrickson.
1:08:16
30 seconds left.
1:08:18
Oh, he's still at the side, he's tied up.
1:08:21
Oh, look at him get big here.
1:08:23
Oh, my God.
1:08:24
It's going to double.
1:08:25
It's going to double, it's going to double, it's going to double.
1:08:28
Oh, my God.
1:08:29
Can you believe this?
1:08:32
Can you do it with the three?
1:08:33
Gable by Russell.
1:08:35
Here, let me see if it's going to move.
1:08:37
It's 30 seconds.
1:08:38
This could be it.
1:08:39
Oh, my goodness.
1:08:40
The biggest out of the second.
1:08:42
If the history of the NCAA, could this be it?
1:08:45
Yes, I'm hitting, pass, I got it.
1:08:51
Guys, like mind blowing, and if you're just listening to this
1:08:54
and you don't know what happened, so Wyatt Hendrickson
1:08:57
does an amazing faint at around 30 seconds left,
1:09:00
then he shoots a double leg.
1:09:03
But immediately Gable kind of stuffs it,
1:09:05
and you can see Wyatt Hendrickson's left hand kind of come off
1:09:09
of Gable Steveson's right leg.
1:09:11
And at that point, I'm like, okay, he's stuffed a takedown.
1:09:14
But Wyatt Hendrickson didn't stop trying to finish the takedown.
1:09:18
He just cut the corner, cut the corner, cut the corner,
1:09:21
cut the corner, finishes the takedown.
1:09:24
Like I literally just gave myself chills
1:09:25
like 'cause I can remember like being back on my porch
1:09:27
and seeing this.
1:09:28
When he, when he finished the takedown,
1:09:31
I'm literally sitting on my back porch.
1:09:32
I got like Crocs on or all that.
1:09:34
I stood up so fast, two things happen.
1:09:36
Both of my Crocs came off and I pulled a muscle on my stomach.
1:09:41
Okay, I was like, oh, oh my gosh.
1:09:44
Gable Steveson just got taken down.
1:09:46
Oh my gosh, holy crap, there's only 14 seconds left on the clock.
1:09:50
So you can see Gable, he's kind of shocked.
1:09:52
Like he's there, he's on all fours and he's like,
1:09:55
he's kind of shocked and you see him kind of look up
1:09:57
and he looks at the clock and there's like 13 seconds left,
1:10:00
12 seconds left and he's like, oh shoot, I gotta stand up.
1:10:02
So again, at this point, Wyatt Hendrickson is up one point.
1:10:05
So if Gable can just get to his feet and escape, it's tied.
1:10:09
Okay, it's tied five to five
1:10:10
and it's gonna go into overtime.
1:10:12
And I'm just gonna tell you,
1:10:14
you got a one in a million shot
1:10:16
to take Gable Steveson down one time.
1:10:18
I don't know what the odds would be
1:10:20
to take him down twice in a few minutes.
1:10:23
Like, when's the last time Gable Steveson was taken down
1:10:26
even in practice, right?
1:10:28
I know he's grappled a lot with Gordon Ryan and John Jones.
1:10:31
Have those guys been able to take him down?
1:10:32
Like, I don't know.
1:10:34
And then he kind of stands up, he tries to like turn
1:10:37
and face Hendrickson and Wyatt just squeezes
1:10:41
and kind of like gets higher than him and tilts him back over.
1:10:44
The match is over.
1:10:45
Wyatt Hendrickson beats the defending gold medalist,
1:10:48
or he beats the gold medalist from the Olympics,
1:10:51
a two-time champion denying Gable Steveson
1:10:55
his third national championship.
1:10:57
Absolutely insane.
1:10:58
My mind explodes.
1:10:59
My phone starts exploding.
1:11:01
Like, it was just absolute insanity, absolute insanity.
1:11:05
After the match was over,
1:11:07
Wyatt Hendrickson goes over to the edge of the mat,
1:11:09
makes eye contact with Trump, salutes him.
1:11:12
Like, and Trump salutes him back.
1:11:14
He gets off the mat and goes down to Trump.
1:11:17
And, you know, they hug and they have a moment,
1:11:20
super historic to beat Gable Steveson.
1:11:24
To get Gable's credit, well, sorta to his credit.
1:11:27
When they got to the podium and he got his second place trophy,
1:11:29
he got him, you know, slapped Wyatt on the back,
1:11:31
said good job, he was all smiles.
1:11:32
Like, a day later on social media, he's like,
1:11:34
"Hey, man, I'm super blessed, things are fine.
1:11:36
"Hey, at least you watched, right, that type of thing."
1:11:38
But it's like, "Hey, bro,
1:11:40
"maybe you shouldn't talk so much trash before the match.
1:11:43
"Maybe you shouldn't have told an American, right,
1:11:45
"a guy in the Air Force that he can't wear the American flag
1:11:48
"because you're the Olympic champ.
1:11:49
"Maybe you shouldn't have done that, right?"
1:11:51
He got served, not just humble pie.
1:11:53
He got like a humble buffet in that exact moment.
1:11:55
Wyatt Hendrickson was also named the Hodge Trophy winner.
1:11:57
Some people thought I was gonna go to that kid from Penn State
1:12:00
who won his fifth national title 'cause of COVID.
1:12:02
You know, all the records are completely jacked up now.
1:12:04
But I'll just go to my big takeaway here
1:12:05
as we wrap up the episode.
1:12:07
I am calling it right now.
1:12:09
Again, I'm sitting here recording this on April the fourth.
1:12:12
Okay, you guys are hearing this on April the whateverth, right?
1:12:15
I'm calling it right now.
1:12:17
That will be the sports moment of 2025.
1:12:20
We got a lot of things left to go, right?
1:12:23
As I'm sitting here, you know,
1:12:25
we don't know who's gonna win the final four, right?
1:12:28
You know, we don't know if Cooper Flag
1:12:29
is gonna be the super Duke freshman and gonna win.
1:12:31
We don't know that.
1:12:32
We don't know if the Los Angeles Dodgers are gonna,
1:12:35
you know, spend a billion dollars and then win 120 regular
1:12:37
season games and then sweep the playoffs
1:12:39
and win the World Series.
1:12:40
We don't know if the Thunder are actually any good,
1:12:42
even though I think the Thunder are kind of like
1:12:44
the 2001 Seattle Mariners
1:12:45
or where they're gonna win a whole bunch of games
1:12:47
in the regular season and then, you know,
1:12:49
end up getting bounced in the playoffs
1:12:50
'cause they don't have any killers on the team.
1:12:51
Who the heck knows?
1:12:52
Maybe the Thunder when their first championship.
1:12:54
Maybe there's something crazy that happens
1:12:55
in the world of soccer, even though nobody here cares.
1:12:57
Maybe something's gonna happen, you know,
1:13:00
with an NFL game, maybe there's gonna be a record
1:13:01
that's gonna be broken.
1:13:02
Maybe we're gonna see some sort of crazy Heisman moment.
1:13:05
Maybe there's gonna be this tremendous knockout,
1:13:07
one of the best knockouts we've ever seen,
1:13:08
one of this tremendous upsets in all these different things.
1:13:11
Maybe Tom Aspen all is gonna be John Jones
1:13:13
if they actually ever fight that, right?
1:13:16
Their Wyatt Hendrickson is the single best sports moment
1:13:21
of 2025 and if I'm wrong, I will update you,
1:13:26
but I don't think I'm gonna be wrong.
1:13:28
All right, guys, that'll do it for today.
1:13:29
Before we go, we are gonna do a quick resilience boost
1:13:31
out on down to the life of missions,
1:13:32
equipping men to push back darkness
1:13:33
specifically in their area.
1:13:35
Church 11, 22 men's conferences there,
1:13:37
the mountain tough website, mountaintough.com,
1:13:39
M-T-N, tough.com promo code, Kyle, use that.
1:13:42
And then I've got all the links for everything
1:13:43
I talked about on the Andy Stanley side
1:13:45
and everything on the quick hitters.
