This is on Daunted Life, a man's podcast.
0:51
I'm your host Kyle Thompson.
0:53
Let's get into it.
0:54
All right, guys, a couple of quick announcements before we get too far into today's content.
0:57
Number one, to anyone in the Denver, Colorado area here in the United States, okay?
1:01
I'm going to be keynoting a men's event there here soon.
1:04
It's called the sharpening and it's going to be held at Chapel in the hills in Golden,
1:07
Colorado.
1:08
And that's on June the 26th.
1:09
So it's less than a couple of weeks away, but I want to make sure that you knew that
1:12
that was going to be happening.
1:13
So if you're in that area, you're going to want to check it out.
1:15
It's for men and boys 12, ages 12 and above.
1:18
And then there's going to be kind of a whole day thing with lunch included.
1:21
I think it's like from nine in the morning until three in the afternoon.
1:23
So make sure you check that out.
1:24
There will be a link in the show notes for you to go and register.
1:26
And then also I have a Spotify Christian metal playlist.
1:30
Okay, guys, y'all have been asking for it for a long time.
1:33
I keep getting DMS.
1:34
Hey, I kind of want, you know, some more Christian metal music.
1:36
I kind of like the stuff that you're into, but I want to know more of that kind of stuff.
1:39
So consulted with a few guys that are kind of still in the scene and also the stuff that
1:43
I've listened to.
1:44
But I do want to kind of give this caveat to you.
1:45
Not every single album, not every single track, I guess, is going to be super gospel centered
1:52
or super gospel focused.
1:53
And then there are also some bands that are going to be on that playlist that not every
1:56
single person in the band would consider themselves to be a Christian.
1:59
Okay.
2:00
So that is the same in every genre, by the way.
2:02
So there's a lot of contemporary Christian groups that kind of come together and it's
2:05
like the basis and isn't a Christian.
2:06
The guy who plays the synth isn't a Christian, but it's the same thing kind of in this space.
2:10
But what I tried to do with this playlist is I tried to put songs that were on there that
2:13
are from the time that these bands at least claim to be Christian or when they were on
2:17
Christian labels or have a positive message, that type of a thing.
2:21
Probably what I can guarantee you is that these songs are not going to be satanic, right?
2:25
Because there's a lot of stuff from this genre that is very, very dark, very bloody, very
2:29
satanic.
2:30
So none of that's going to be on there.
2:31
And guys, I think as of right now, there's over five hours worth of stuff on there.
2:34
So you're probably not going to like every single track.
2:36
You're probably not going to like every single band, but there's something on there for everybody
2:39
as long as you're a metalhead.
2:41
So those announcements are good to go.
2:43
So we're going to get going with today's content.
2:44
We're just going to keep everything going here with pride month, right?
2:48
Because we need an entire month to celebrate something that shouldn't need to be celebrated
2:51
because this is just how these people were born, right?
2:54
We get one day from Memorial Day, just one, we get, you know, one day for the birth of
2:57
Jesus, one day for the death of Jesus and resurrection, all those things, we just get
3:01
one day, but we need an entire month of this.
3:04
But I just got to tell you, today we're going to be talking about a news story that literally
3:08
I'm, I'm, I would almost guarantee that none of you have heard of before because I'm pretty
3:13
plugged in, right?
3:14
I'm pretty plugged into the news.
3:15
I'm pretty plugged into how things are going on around the world.
3:18
And I had no idea that this had happened.
3:21
I had no clue.
3:22
I think somebody on a podcast I listened to last week just mentioned it randomly.
3:27
And it was one of those, you know, wait a minute, like, did I just hear that correctly, right?
3:31
That can't be true.
3:33
So I went and checked it out.
3:34
And apparently this is something that happened, okay?
3:36
So this should be absolutely shocking when I'm about to tell you, right?
3:41
Because it absolutely shocked me and it's from October of 2020 and we're getting this
3:46
information and this article that I'm going to read part of it to you here in a second
3:49
from Abigail Schreier.
3:51
So if that name sounds familiar, she has been on the Joe Rogan experience.
3:53
She's kind of been around in some other areas, but she wrote a book called irreversible damage,
3:58
the transgender craze, seducing our daughters.
4:00
So that kind of talked about how, you know, transgenderism has become popular with a lot
4:04
of young ladies, some girls in like junior high and that type of thing.
4:07
And so she's tried to be canceled for a book like that.
4:09
You know, you can't talk about those things, transgenderism is something that just can't
4:13
be challenged, but she wrote an article on her sub stack and it's called when the state
4:17
comes for your kids.
4:19
Now this is a fairly long article and I'm not going to read all of it.
4:22
I'm just going to read the first story because I think there are three stories that are on
4:25
this.
4:26
And I just got to tell you, like, as a father, as a new father, I couldn't believe the scenario
4:31
that she was painting here because one thing that happens for her because she is so bold
4:35
about speaking out in these areas is she will have parents from all over the country reach
4:38
out to her and kind of tell them their story.
4:41
Like this is what my school district is telling me I have to do.
4:43
This is what my kids call just telling them that he has to do and like, you know, they're
4:47
just, they're desperate for somebody that will hear them out, but also share what they're
4:51
going through.
4:52
And I thought that this was an absolutely stunning story.
4:54
So I'm going to go and read to you from the article.
4:56
I'm going to give the link for you here in a second or I'll give it to you in the show
4:59
notes so you can check it out for yourself and so that you can check out all the other
5:02
stories as well.
5:03
So here we go into the article.
5:05
That is a Pakistani immigrant, a faithful Muslim and until recently a financial consultant
5:09
to Seattle's high tech sector.
5:11
But when he reached me by phone in October, 2020, he was just one more frightened father.
5:16
Days earlier, he and his wife had checked their 16 year old son into Seattle's Children's
5:20
Hospital for credible threats of suicide.
5:23
Now Ahmed was worried that the white coats who had gently admitted his son to their care
5:27
would refuse to return him.
5:30
They sent us an email, you know, you should take your daughter to the gender clinic.
5:35
He told me at first, Ahmed assumed there had been a mistake.
5:38
He had dropped off a son, Syed, to the hospital in a terrible state of distress.
5:44
Now the email he received from the mental health experts used a new name for that son
5:48
and claimed he was Ahmed's daughter.
5:51
They were trying to create a customer for their gender clinic and they seemed to absolutely
5:55
want to push us in that direction.
5:57
He said, when I spoke with him again this May, recalling the horror of last October.
6:01
We had calls with counselors and therapists in the establishment telling us how important
6:04
it is for him to change his gender because that's the only way he's going to be better
6:08
out of this suicidal depressive state.
6:11
Syed had been a straight A student and according to his parents and family therapists, quite
6:15
brilliant.
6:16
He is also on the autism spectrum, a young man who neglects to make eye contact and must
6:20
be given rules for how long to shake hands, shower or brush his teeth.
6:24
High school was a slog for him as it often is for kids on the spectrum who find the social
6:28
demands of adolescents have risen beyond their capacity to meet them.
6:32
He tried to ask a few girls out, it didn't work out and he got frustrated and angry and
6:36
that kind of a thing.
6:37
And so those girl boy things get kind of tough for autistic kids, those developmental issues.
6:43
And that's where puberty can be very, very hard with the hormones rushing and all this
6:46
stuff.
6:47
When lockdowns hit, the boy who had already struggled socially and be fuddled by questions
6:52
neurotypical teens take for granted, how do I show a girl I like her, how do I make the
6:56
other kids include me, began to spend all day and night on the internet.
7:00
He's an autistic kid and so he kind of lost track of time and he was staying up a lot.
7:05
So he was staying up, just being on the internet, Twitter, Tumblr, whatever and he was in his
7:09
room just, you know, sleeping one or two hours a day and that can really be devastating.
7:13
He was very confused.
7:15
He was seeing things, visual hallucinations and we didn't know why.
7:19
It is not definitively known how many neuro diverse adolescents identify as transgender,
7:25
but more than one scientist has pointed out the high rates of coincidence.
7:29
As several autism experts have explained to me, those on the spectrum tend to fixate.
7:33
And when a contagious idea is introduced to them, such as the notion that they might
7:37
be a girl in a boy's body, they are particularly susceptible to it.
7:42
As child psychiatrists and experts in gender dysphoria Susan Bradley said to me, the messages
7:47
these kids pick up from trans influencers, when they're online is, we're the only people
7:52
who understand you, your people, your parents don't really understand you, and it may be
7:56
the first time in their lives that anybody has said to them, we understand you, we know
8:01
you.
8:02
You're okay.
8:03
You're just like us.
8:04
And it's powerful.
8:05
I asked Bradley if introducing gender ideology to kids who tend to fixate is like introducing
8:10
cocaine to those susceptible to addiction.
8:12
She agreed.
8:13
It has the same power to assuage all the alienation and grief and distress that these kids have
8:18
been struggling with.
8:20
Because of COVID-19 policy, Ahmed could not stay in the hospital with his son back in
8:24
October.
8:25
As I eat in a sleep deprived and confused state, furious at the parents who had admitted him
8:29
and in consultation with hospital staff and a social worker decided that his problem was
8:34
gender, the age at which minors in the state of Washington can receive mental health and
8:38
gender affirming care without parental permission is 13.
8:42
In other words, the emails Ahmed received from the hospital were effectively a courtesy.
8:47
The hospital did not require Ahmed's permission to begin his son on a path to medical transition.
8:54
But unlike some other parents I would later speak with, Ahmed's cool head prevailed.
8:58
Believing he might be walking into a track, Ahmed reached out to both a lawyer and a psychiatrist
9:03
friend he trusted.
9:04
The psychiatrist gave him the advice that he believed saved his son saying in Ahmed's
9:08
words, "You have to be very, very careful.
9:11
Because if you come across as just even a little bit anti-trans or anything, they're
9:15
going to call the child protective services on you and take custody of your kid."
9:19
The lawyer told Ahmed the same, "What you want to do is agree with them and take your
9:23
kid home when the gender counselors advise you to affirm, go along with it.
9:28
Just say, 'Aha, aha, okay, let's take him home and we'll go to the gender clinic.'"
9:33
Ahmed assured Seattle Children's Hospital that he would take his son to the gender clinic
9:37
and commence his son's transition.
9:39
Instead, he collected his son, quit his job, and moved his family of four out of Washington.
9:47
Was Ahmed's reaction extreme?
9:49
When I first heard it back in October 2020, I wondered whether he hadn't overreacted.
9:53
But as a growing number of parents began contacting me with similar stories and I delved into
9:57
the state laws of Washington, Oregon and California, I came to a different conclusion.
10:02
Taken individually, no single law in any state completely strips parents' rights over the
10:06
care and mental health treatment of their troubled minor teens.
10:10
The piece together, laws in California, Oregon and Washington, placed troubled minor teens
10:14
as young as 13 in the driver's seat when it comes to their own mental health care, including
10:18
gender affirming care, and renders parents powerless to stop them.
10:23
Here, for instance, are the powers granted to a 13-year-old child in the state of Washington.
10:28
Miners aged 13 and up are entitled to admit themselves for inpatient and outpatient mental
10:33
health treatment without parental consent.
10:35
Health insurers are forbidden from disclosing to the insured's parents sensitive medical
10:40
information of minor children, such as the regarding those guarding gender dysphoria and
10:45
gender affirming care.
10:47
Members aged 13-18 came with hold mental health records from parents for sensitive conditions,
10:52
which include both gender dysphoria and gender affirming care.
10:56
Insurers in Washington must cover a wide array of gender affirming treatments from tracheal
11:00
shaves to double mastectomies.
11:03
Put these together, and a seventh grader could be entitled to embark on gender affirming
11:07
care, which may include anything from a provider using the child's name and pronouns to the
11:12
kid preparing to receive a course of hormones without her parents' permission against her
11:17
parents' wishes, covered by her parents' insurance, and with the parents kept in the
11:21
dark by insurance companies and medical providers.
11:24
Unless you wonder where there is some madcap elixir polluting the groundwater of Washington
11:29
state alone, in 2015, Oregon passed a law permitting minors 15 and older to obtain puberty
11:35
blockers, cross-sex hormones, and surgeries at taxpayers' expense, all without parental
11:41
consent.
11:42
In 2018, California passed a similar bill for all children in foster care aged 12 and
11:47
up.
11:48
The California State Senate is now considering an amendment to the confidentiality of medical
11:51
information act that would bar health insurers from disclosing medical information to parents
11:56
about their dependence on pain of criminal liability.
12:00
So that's all that I'm going to read from this particular post by Abigail Schreier.
12:05
Again, it goes on.
12:06
There are other stories.
12:07
That's just one of them.
12:09
Go to recap, this autistic boy was suicidal.
12:14
So his parents, being dutiful parents, took him to the hospital, thinking that he would
12:18
receive care.
12:19
And then the era of COVID, the parents couldn't even be there with their son while he was
12:24
getting whatever treatment they were going to propose.
12:27
They instead just sent him an email saying that his son, Syed, is now a female going
12:32
by a different name.
12:33
He just got it in an email.
12:38
And then if he didn't play ball and didn't play along and lied to them and tell them that
12:43
he was going to be taking his son to the gender clinic, they would have kept him.
12:49
They would have kept Syed there or whatever he was going by at that moment.
12:53
They would have kept him there.
12:55
They would have worked with the state government in order to keep that son from going back to
13:01
his loving parents.
13:03
So guys, this is going to be a little bit of a shorter one today, but I do want to flow
13:06
on some big takeaways from the story, okay?
13:09
The first big takeaway is a question for you to ask yourself.
13:11
And a question that I had asked myself is why didn't I know about this story?
13:16
Why didn't you know about this story?
13:19
Now, again, this was in October of 2020, so I don't know if you remember what was going
13:23
on at that time, but we were in the final stretches of a presidential campaign, right?
13:28
We had a dead person going against an orange person and the entire country was wrapped around
13:32
the axle on that, right?
13:34
But I don't remember a single blog, a single podcast episode, a single news story talking
13:42
about this.
13:43
Why how do we get to a place where we don't even hear about one of the most extreme overreaches
13:51
by a state organization, by a state government here in the United States of America?
13:56
Why didn't we hear about it?
13:59
Was it just people being lazy, right?
14:02
Was it people trying to actively suppress this story?
14:05
Was this something that there was collusion by big tech to make sure that this didn't
14:09
get out there?
14:10
Because it's an insane story and it makes the state of Washington look terrible and inherently
14:14
Oregon and California who have similar laws.
14:17
So it surely made me think a lot about that.
14:21
Another big takeaway for me is that good for Ahmed for moving and saving his son's life.
14:28
Literally, he may have saved his son's life by getting him out of the entire state of
14:33
Washington.
14:34
Again, this is a guy that was working the financial sector for the tech sector, right?
14:39
So we can assume that this guy was making a good living, right?
14:41
Maybe it was a financial advisor to people that are making several hundred thousand dollars
14:44
a year working for, you know, any one of the companies that are out there, any one of those
14:47
tech companies, but he said, no, not worth it.
14:52
I'm taking my son and I'm leaving the state and I don't know where he ended up.
14:55
He doesn't say that in the story anywhere and it's probably better that we don't know
14:58
where he ended up because wherever he goes, I'm sure they're trying to cancel him there,
15:01
but I can guarantee you where he didn't go.
15:04
He didn't go to another blue state because if he moved to Oregon or to California, it's
15:10
going to be the same thing.
15:11
If he skipped over all those flyover states and moved somewhere on the East Coast, I bet
15:15
he didn't do that either.
15:18
And I've told you this before and I absolutely made it.
15:22
I don't think I'm going to have this problem with my son.
15:24
I really don't and I certainly pray that this doesn't happen for my son or any of the sons
15:28
that are in any of the guys that are around me.
15:31
But if something like this were to happen with my son, like whether he was being sarcastic
15:35
or maybe he actually genuinely had these feelings, some sort of brokenness inside him and he had
15:39
these feelings, you would never see me or my son again if the state came after my kid.
15:45
If the state declared that they knew what was best for my son, you would never see the
15:49
Thompson's ever again.
15:50
I wouldn't even sign off, you would just, the podcast would cease to exist and we would,
15:55
we would just live completely off the grid somewhere, right?
15:57
And it would be all worth it to save my son from potential, you know, harm like that.
16:04
And I guess the other big takeaway, there's, there's several more, but another takeaway
16:07
is that they quote, unquote, they were always going to come for the children.
16:14
They were always going to come for your children.
16:18
And the they is whatever you want to describe the mass, describe the mass, the federal government,
16:23
the government in general, the elites, the bourgeoisie, the whatever way that you want
16:29
to describe it, right?
16:31
They were always going to be going to be coming for your children.
16:34
These people know what's best for your kid.
16:36
You don't.
16:38
And if you could just be in their white coat for one second, if you can be in their elitist
16:43
brain, if you could, if you could have gone to the medical school they went to or if you
16:46
could have gone to the Ivy League school that they went to, you would just understand
16:49
like they understand because you see, you're just a small minded bigot.
16:55
You think you're 16 year old son is a male and we think he's a female and we're going
17:01
to affirm that and we're going to lead him in that direction.
17:04
But this was always the goal.
17:06
I'll point you back to the episode I did when I talked, I talked about the first three episodes
17:09
of the race in America series and we were talking about Black Lives Matter.
17:12
They, they tend to have all of their, all their structural things about Black Lives Matter
17:17
goes back, goes back to Marxism, right?
17:20
Even their founders admitted that their train marks us.
17:22
But one of the tenants, one of the core tenants of Marxism is getting rid of the family, destroying
17:27
the family unit.
17:29
Now why would you want to do that?
17:30
If you were creating a worldview, whole cloth like Karl Marx did, why would you create that
17:34
as one of the core tenants?
17:37
It's because if you want to create a group of people or a, a people of any kind to be
17:42
dependent on the government, then you surely can't allow them to be dependent on mom and
17:47
dad on their greater family, you know, aunt's uncle's cousins, grandparents, you, like you
17:54
couldn't have that.
17:56
You can't have them also depend on a community, maybe even a community of faith, right?
18:00
Ahmed is a devout Muslim.
18:02
I'm sure there was a Muslim community there that is the support system of some kind for
18:07
him and his family.
18:08
Same would go for the Christians in that area, although there probably aren't many, right?
18:12
For Jews in that area, for Sikhs in that area, for Hindus in that area, right?
18:17
If you want there to be total control of human beings in a country by the government, you
18:23
have to get rid of all those things.
18:24
Those things have to go away.
18:27
So in order for them to destroy the family, all they have to do is stop one generation
18:32
from maturing, one generation from being influenced by you.
18:36
And then from there on out, it's just the state.
18:39
The state is daddy.
18:41
Another big takeaway from this, and this is kind of a little bit of an aside, there obviously
18:45
needs to be more research.
18:47
There needs to be more research done on the link between children on the spectrum and
18:50
transgenderism, right?
18:52
Because there's certainly an idea of susceptibility to this.
18:56
And I think that that is absolutely stunning that there would be medical professionals,
19:01
people that took the Hippocratic oath that would take advantage of these kids that are
19:06
on the spectrum that aren't like the other kids where in that they are more susceptible
19:12
to these ideas, to fixating on these ideas and becoming overly obsessed with them, right?
19:17
I think there certainly needs to be more research done there.
19:20
And I'll just kind of leave that there.
19:23
But I do want to wrap up with this in terms of talking about this entire subject, because
19:27
this is a somber subject, like I'm literally sitting here, I'm just like sad, I'm sad
19:30
for this family.
19:31
I'm angry.
19:32
But guys, this is my last point today.
19:35
This is another big takeaway from this article.
19:37
This will not stop.
19:39
It won't.
19:42
Your state, your city, your school district is not immune to the transgender revolution.
19:51
It is all consuming.
19:53
They're coming for everyone.
19:57
Because again, what it used to be, and you've heard other commentators, commentators say
20:00
something like this.
20:01
But what it used to be with the LGBTQ+ people is, hey, just leave us alone.
20:06
Does let us do our own thing, let us live our own lives, just leave us alone.
20:10
Like you can do your thing.
20:11
Let us do our thing.
20:12
That's what it used to be.
20:14
Now it's you better cheer us on as we do this.
20:20
You better watch what we're doing and give us a thumbs up.
20:24
You better change your profile picture and add a rainbow to it in the word ally.
20:29
You better change the logo for your company for a month, no matter what, or we're going
20:34
to come after you.
20:35
It's no longer live and let live, nor that I think it should have ever been live and let
20:39
live.
20:40
But it's no longer that.
20:42
But guys, this will not stop.
20:44
Okay.
20:45
So I live in Oklahoma.
20:46
I live in Oklahoma.
20:47
And I think the last three or four presidential races, every single county of my state has
20:51
been read, right?
20:52
So it went for Trump twice and it went for Romney and McCain before that.
20:56
And so and I probably went for Bush before then.
20:58
So I live in a very, very deeply red state, but there are some fairly blue dots in my
21:03
state, not, not kind of like Texas, Texas, they have bright blue dots with Austin and
21:07
Dallas and Houston and San Antonio.
21:10
That's going to be an issue for that state, which makes it an issue for the entire country.
21:14
But there are small pockets of this being taught everywhere because transgenderism is
21:20
not this single thing that we have to worry about.
21:23
It's a part of a larger worldview that is trying to tell you that truth is relative
21:28
and or that we are in a postmodern era where truth doesn't actually actually exist.
21:34
Only your truth does.
21:36
Only your lived experience does.
21:39
And if you don't think that this is going to be an issue in your community, you better
21:42
think twice.
21:43
Because again, think about how few people it takes in your community to make a decision
21:47
in order for something like this to be acceptable, right?
21:51
So if you and most of the people in your community are falling asleep at the wheel, and again,
21:55
I've talked about this a lot, especially lately, you don't know who the mayor is.
21:58
You don't know who sit on city council.
21:59
You don't know who's on the school board.
22:00
You don't know who the sheriff is.
22:02
You don't know any of these things.
22:03
That's not even a dozen people that can completely dictate the type of community you and your
22:10
family are going to grow up in.
22:12
And hence the type of community you will raise your children up in.
22:16
It's going to have its tendrils in all those different areas.
22:19
And there's nothing that you can do to stop it if you're asleep at the wheel.
22:25
You need to know, you need to be able to look in the eyes of these people before you vote
22:28
for them and say, if this comes up, what will your reaction be?
22:33
I've already played the scenario out in my head before, you know, before James becomes
22:37
a kid that's going to school, whether it's preschool or pre-K or, you know, kindergarten
22:41
or whatever, whatever school we decide to take him to, whether it's public school, private
22:44
school, Christian school, whatever, whatever, we end up deciding that we're going to do.
22:47
The Thompson's are going to do, right?
22:49
I will be talking to the administrators of that school and I will be talking to the
22:52
school board and I'm going to ask them these difficult questions.
22:54
I'm going to ask them if a kid comes into your office, it's a little boy.
22:59
And they say, I think I'm a little girl.
23:01
What do you say?
23:02
What do you do?
23:03
What's the first thing that you do?
23:06
And if it's not what we're going to immediately call the parents, big issue, red flag.
23:11
I'm going to ask these people, what do you think of critical race theory and should it
23:15
be taught in the classrooms?
23:17
What if you hear that one of your teachers inside of your school goes off script and starts
23:23
talking about critical race theory?
23:24
What is your reaction going to be?
23:27
Because if they start legitimizing the theory, like it is a real theory, that's going to
23:31
be an issue.
23:32
There's another red flag for you, okay?
23:35
So guys, again, I try to bring these stories to you.
23:37
Okay.
23:38
I know we talk about a lot of big things on this podcast and we have, we have great fun
23:41
with our interviews and we do a lot of cool things like that.
23:44
But this is about as real as it gets.
23:47
I think I don't know if it was last episode or the episode before that when I was talking
23:49
about, you know, the track, track athletes in the state of Connecticut and that lawsuit
23:54
and all those different things, guys, there's nowhere to hide from this.
23:58
It's coming for your area of life and you're going to have to make a decision like Ahmed
24:02
did.
24:03
And I feel like he made the right decision by getting his family, the hell out of the
24:06
state of Washington, right?
24:09
And you might say, oh, well, you know, that that was wrong.
24:11
He needed to stay there and you needed to fight it.
24:13
Well, he had a 16 year old and he wasn't going to change the whole system by the time
24:16
that kid was probably out of his house and out of his care.
24:19
He had to make a drastic decision right at that moment.
24:22
But what we're going to be seeing, and this will be an interesting thing to watch as we,
24:26
you know, we're already marching towards 2024.
24:28
Nobody can shut up about whether or not Joe Biden's actually going to live until then
24:31
and when columnal Harris is going to be taking over and is it going to be Trump?
24:34
Is it going to be DeSantis?
24:35
Is it going to be somebody else?
24:36
You know, it's all anyone can talk about now and we're years away from that, right?
24:39
We haven't even gone to the midterm elections, but it's going to be interesting to watch
24:44
as people continue to move out of these communities.
24:47
People leave the West Coast and go further inland, right, to some of these places.
24:52
But then the other interesting thing is, and I've talked about this a lot and you've got
24:56
to wonder about this yourself, is what are they bringing with them?
25:01
So let's say I'm making this up.
25:02
I don't know.
25:03
Ahmed.
25:04
I don't know his voting record, but let's say he was very liberal.
25:05
Let's say he was very blue.
25:06
Let's say he voted for complete blue candidates the whole time that he was voting here in
25:10
the United States.
25:11
And let's say he moves to Montana or, you know, New Mexico or somewhere else, right?
25:16
One of these states that's not, you know, solidly blue, right?
25:19
You know, and anyway, you can debate about all those states, but maybe a state that's
25:23
not solidly blue.
25:24
Maybe it's, you know, purple or up in the air, maybe even more red, right?
25:27
Is he taking his voting record with him?
25:31
Is he going to continue to vote for the politicians that created such dangerous and horrific things
25:36
in his state of Washington?
25:37
We've talked about that a lot with the state of Texas, right?
25:40
All these people are leaving New York and they're leaving Michigan and they're leaving,
25:44
you know, Washington and California, they're going to Texas and they're going to one of
25:47
these larger cities.
25:48
They're not going to, you know, Paris, Texas, they're going to these huge Texas cities and
25:53
they're voting the same way that they did back home.
25:57
And how many years is it going to be before we see some of the same issues that we're
26:01
going on in those areas is something that we got to make sure we pay attention to guys.
26:05
All right, guys, before we let you go, we are going to do a quick resilience boost at
