This is Undaunted Life, a man's podcast.
0:21
I'm your host Kyle Thompson.
0:22
Let's get into it.
0:23
Our guys, whenever we ended the race in America series just a couple of weeks ago, I thought
0:27
that was going to be it for a while.
0:29
But here we are.
0:30
A special episode.
0:31
If you're wondering Kyle, why did you drop two episodes in a row?
0:34
Guys, episode 149 of this podcast, the worst night of my jujitsu life.
0:38
That was already recorded.
0:39
I recorded that a few days ago, but then things have kind of gotten crazy again in the United
0:43
States.
0:44
And so it's, you know, incumbent upon me to talk about it, but let's kind of get into
0:48
what's happening right now and what we're seeing.
0:51
And this is as of 924, the evening of what is today, August the 26th of 2020.
0:57
So on Sunday, August the 23rd, 29 year old Jacob Blake was shot by police in Kenosha,
1:03
Wisconsin, a town I'm sure none of you had heard of before this week.
1:06
He was shot by his vehicle with all with three of his children inside.
1:10
They watched this happen.
1:11
He is in stable condition, but he is temporarily paralyzed from the waist down.
1:15
Jacob Blake is a black man.
1:18
And the officer that shot him, a name that was just released this evening, Rustin Chesky
1:23
is a white man.
1:25
Okay.
1:26
What this did is this immediately sparked outrage and riots and destruction in Wisconsin
1:30
and other places.
1:32
So this was Sunday night and here we are on Wednesday evening and there has just been
1:36
destruction and fire since that time.
1:38
So businesses have been burned down.
1:40
Of course they've been looted.
1:42
We've had churches that have been burned down.
1:44
We've had elderly people that have been beaten up.
1:47
We've had citizens that have been beaten up.
1:48
I think there's been two or three confirmed murders as a part of all of these riots in
1:53
these demonstrations.
1:55
And guess what guys?
1:56
I'm not seeing a whole lot of peaceful protests that have come out of all of this, but it's
1:59
just been absolute chaos on the ground and there's a lot of people fanning the flames.
2:04
And the thing about it is is that there's a situation that certainly happened and everybody
2:08
was was more than willing and more than welcome to weigh in on this.
2:12
So almost immediately the governor of Wisconsin, a democratic governor, Tony Evers, he gave
2:16
this statement on what happened in this case.
2:19
Here's it.
2:20
Or here it is.
2:21
Tonight, Jacob Blake was shot in the back multiple times in broad daylight in Kenosha,
2:26
Wisconsin.
2:27
Kathy and I joined his family, friends and neighbors and hoping earnestly that he will
2:30
not succumb to his injuries while we do not have all the details yet.
2:34
What we know for certain is that he is not the first black man or person to have been
2:38
shot or injured by or mercilessly killed at the hands of individuals of law enforcement
2:44
in our state or our country.
2:46
And we stand against excessive use of force and immediate escalation when engaging with
2:50
black Wisconsinites.
2:51
I've said all along that although we must offer our empathy, equally important is our
2:56
action.
2:57
In the coming days, we will demand just that of elected officials in our state who have
3:01
failed to recognize the racism in our state and our country for far too long.
3:07
So and that's unquote there.
3:09
So if you were to read that statement or hear that statement, you might think, well, man,
3:13
this sounds pretty bad.
3:14
Like what happened to this black guy?
3:17
Like, like, what exactly happened?
3:18
But then Joe Biden also weighed in and he weighed and I believe the day after this would
3:22
have been Monday.
3:23
And this was his statement that he put up on his website here quote yesterday in Kenosha,
3:27
Wisconsin, Jacob Blake was shot seven times in the back as police attempted to restrain
3:31
him from getting into his car.
3:33
His children watch from inside the car and bystanders watched in disbelief.
3:37
And this morning, the nation wakes up yet again with grief and outrage that yet another
3:41
black American is a victim of excessive force.
3:44
This calls for an immediate, full and transparent investigation and the officers must be held
3:48
accountable.
3:49
These shots pierce the soul of our nation.
3:52
Jill and I pray for Jacob's recovery and for his children.
3:55
Equal justice has not been real for black Americans and so many others.
3:58
We are at an inflection point.
4:00
We must dismantle systemic racism.
4:02
It is the urgent task before us.
4:04
We must fight to honor the ideals laid in the original American promise, which are which
4:09
we are yet to attain that all men and women are created equal, but more importantly, that
4:14
they must be treated equally unquote.
4:17
So again, wow, I mean, that, that's a guy that is, that is wanting to be the next president
4:21
of the United States.
4:22
And I mean, that's very serious sounding, right?
4:24
And it wasn't just political figures that were weighing in.
4:26
Of course, there were a lot of people weighing in on Twitter and in the news, but we've had
4:29
a lot of athletes weigh in a lot of guys here, you know, you like sports.
4:32
You listen to this podcast.
4:33
You like listen to sports.
4:34
Well, Aaron Rodgers, the quarterback of the Green Bay Packers, he weighed in on this.
4:38
This was the day after the shooting, he said, quote, there's a systemic problem.
4:41
And until the problem is fixed, this is going to be an all too common siding in this country.
4:46
It's obviously hits home being not far from Green Bay.
4:50
I'm not going to comment directly on the video until more facts come out.
4:54
But obviously it's something where as a non police officer, I think for a lot of us, the
4:59
natural question is when is lethal force necessary?
5:02
Again, I think that that goes to a systematic problem that needs to be addressed at some
5:07
point.
5:08
There's antiquated laws that are prejudicial against people of color in the state.
5:12
I think the governor and the folks at the Capitol need to take a hard look at some of
5:15
those systems that are in place, unquote.
5:18
And LeBron James, he hopped in on it.
5:20
He's one of the most famous athletes in the entire planet.
5:23
He said this after the his Lakers beat the Portland Trailblazers on Tuesday, quote, I
5:27
can't even enjoy a playoff win right now, which is the sad part, unquote, or the quote
5:33
continues here.
5:34
We are scared as black people in America, black men, black women, black kids.
5:39
We are we are terrified, unquote.
5:42
So then on the afternoon of Wednesday, the 26th, so that's when I'm recording this guys,
5:47
I'm going to go ahead and just drop these two episodes in a row.
5:50
So on today, Wednesday, the 26th of August, things got even crazier.
5:54
Okay.
5:55
So in the mid afternoon, we start seeing tweets and updates that it was announced at the Milwaukee
5:59
Bucks in Milwaukee, Wisconsin, that they would boycott slash forfeit game five of their series
6:04
against the Orlando magic.
6:06
I mean, absolutely crazy news.
6:08
This is something on a different level that I can't really think of something in my lifetime
6:13
that even comes close to this, that you have, you know, a number one seed in a playoff of
6:18
a major sport saying that we're going to sit out this game and it seemed as if that they
6:22
were okay with a forfeit, although I don't really think that they were actually going
6:25
to forfeit the game and take the L, but then they just said, you know, we're not playing
6:29
the night.
6:30
So absolutely crazy news.
6:32
And then not 30 minutes later, the Oklahoma City Thunder and the Houston Rockets followed
6:36
suit and then not far after that, the Lakers and Blazers said the same thing.
6:41
And then not that long after that, the NBA suspended all of the games for today, right?
6:45
They didn't cancel them.
6:46
Mind you, they're just going to postpone them, but they just suspended the games.
6:50
And then I heard rumblings that the Milwaukee Brewers major league baseball team that they
6:54
would boycott their game and then they ended up doing so.
6:58
Ryan Braun actually said, you remember Ryan Braun, the guy who is a dope cheat and tried
7:03
to ruin a bunch of people's lives by calling them anti-Semitic whenever they basically
7:06
found that he was dope cheating that guy.
7:08
He said this quote, what's happened in Kenosha hits close to home.
7:11
We felt like baseball was insignificant relative to the issues, unquote, then the Seattle Mariners
7:16
followed suit.
7:17
They came right after that.
7:18
And then right after that, you had the Dodgers and the Giants and then two members of my
7:22
St. Louis Cardinals Dexter Fowler and Jack Flaherty, they said that they would boycott
7:27
that they were going to sit out tonight's game because the Cardinals were going to play
7:30
anyway, and they said that they, quote, decided to stand in solidarity with other players
7:34
throughout Major League Baseball, unquote.
7:37
So with all of these prominent, rich, hugely successful and famous people weighing in, you
7:45
would think that Jacob Blake was a black man that was innocently sitting on a park bench,
7:53
reading his Bible, eating a peanut butter and jelly sandwich when a group of racist white
7:59
cops spotted him and said, there's a Negro over there.
8:02
Do you see him?
8:03
Let's kill him.
8:04
Right?
8:05
Like that's what you would think after hearing the things that I've read, the quotes from
8:10
these people and the actions from these people.
8:12
That is what you think would have to have happened, right?
8:16
Because here's the thing, as I said before, Jacob Blake is a black man.
8:20
The officer that shot him, Rustin Chesky is a white man.
8:24
And that's all the media want you to know.
8:28
That's all that they want you to focus on because narrative, because the narrative is
8:37
so unbelievably key, and it's the only thing that they have in mind.
8:42
So guys, let's get into what we actually know as of 932 p.m.
8:47
On Wednesday, the whatever, the 26th of August, let's get into what we actually know.
8:52
Okay.
8:53
So the initial report that we heard was that Blake, the guy who was shot in this situation
8:56
that he showed up to break up a fight between two women.
8:59
That was the initial report and that he ended up getting shot by the cops in the process.
9:03
Okay.
9:04
And then we saw the initial video that came out, this came out on Sunday and the video
9:07
is a very short clip that shows this man Blake walking around his car.
9:12
It's an SUV and he opens the, the driver's side door, the front door and he reaches inside
9:19
his car and he shot seven times by a police officer.
9:23
And that's all we saw.
9:24
But then not long after that, we see a second video from another angle from the other side
9:29
of the vehicle.
9:30
And this video starts a little bit earlier.
9:32
So you can see that there's a scuffle that is ensuing with Blake and several officers
9:36
on the ground.
9:37
It looks like the officers are trying to taste him to subdue him to arrest him.
9:42
But then he, he's able to get away, which is the officer's fault.
9:44
They should be able to subdue him at that point.
9:46
And then it shows him again, walking around the vehicle, opening up his door and then being
9:50
shot.
9:51
And then after that, the 911 call was released and it became apparent that he wasn't breaking
9:58
up a fight.
9:59
He Blake was actually the reason for the call for the 911 call.
10:04
He was apparently not supposed to be at this residence, right?
10:08
That, that the person that called said he's not supposed to be here, but he stole a woman's
10:11
keys and he wouldn't give him back.
10:13
Okay.
10:14
That's the story.
10:15
That's why 911 was called.
10:16
That's why officers were sent to this location.
10:19
But before the police officers arrived, they were informed that Blake had not one, not
10:24
two.
10:25
Does it sound like LeBron yet?
10:26
But three warrants out for his arrest.
10:30
One was for trespassing.
10:31
One was for domestic abuse and one for sexual assault.
10:35
Okay.
10:37
And also these officers likely knew at some point, you know, looking at this dude sheet
10:41
that in September of 2015, Blake was arrested for pulling a gun at a bar.
10:46
Okay.
10:47
Blake, Blake, this is the guy that that's what we know about Blake.
10:51
So the first officer shows up just a few minutes after the 911 call went out about a minute
10:57
later, a second officer shows up and then a third officer arrives about a minute after
11:01
that and he called for more backup.
11:04
And then I think they sent three more cruisers to this situation.
11:06
So they were going to have a lot of cops because apparently there was some chaos going on in
11:09
this situation.
11:10
Okay.
11:11
The police get into a scuffle with Blake on the ground and they unsex unsuccessfully tried
11:15
to chase him and subdue him that way, but Blake gets away.
11:19
He gets up.
11:20
He walks around to the driver's side door of his vehicle.
11:22
He reaches into the driver's side floor board while officer Rustin Chesky is actually pulling
11:27
him back by his shirt and then officer Chesky fires seven shots into Blake.
11:32
The police immediately call for paramedics and immediately they started ministering life-saving
11:37
care to Blake.
11:38
I think at one point he was put into a the back of an ambulance, but then he was actually
11:42
airflighted somewhere so that he can be cared for.
11:46
And then there was breaking news this evening.
11:49
So this is after all the NBA players did what they did and after the Major League Baseball
11:53
players did what they did, state agents recovered a knife from the driver's side floor board
11:59
of the vehicle and Blake, in case you just thought, Oh, well, they just planted it there.
12:04
Blake admitted to the investigators that he had a knife in his possession during this
12:08
entire scuffle that was going on.
12:11
So guys, I searched high and low.
12:14
I looked at right wing sources, centrist sources, left wing sources.
12:17
I looked at YouTube.
12:18
I looked at live television and that's it.
12:22
What I just told you is everything that's important to know about this situation.
12:27
And that is all that we know at this point.
12:31
So here are two very important things that we don't know for sure yet, but we have some
12:36
pretty good guesses.
12:38
Number one was Jacob Blake, a victim of police brutality from what we can see right now.
12:44
That doesn't really look to be the case because he had a knife on him.
12:49
He was going for the knife.
12:50
This is a violent criminal individual.
12:53
He was in a scuffle with police officers and then he was shot.
12:58
So we don't know for sure that he's not a victim of police brutality, but it doesn't
13:02
look good for the counter argument.
13:04
And the second very important thing that we need to know for sure that we don't know for sure yet is
13:08
our Rustin Chesky and the other white officers that showed up at the scene murderous racists.
13:16
We don't know that for sure.
13:18
But as of this exact moment, we have no reason to believe that the man that fired the seven
13:22
shots officer Rustin Chesky was acting in the wrong and that he was doing so because Blake
13:28
was black and because he himself is a racist.
13:32
Doesn't all of this sound familiar?
13:36
Because when I talked about the George Floyd situation and the race yard brook situation,
13:40
there's nothing to indicate that the officers involved in those situations had racist racist
13:46
animus in their hearts towards these individuals that they shot none whatsoever.
13:52
And we've yet to even hear weeks after I've recorded those podcasts, we still haven't
13:56
seen any evidence to prove that.
13:58
But again, the narrative is that these aren't just cops, these aren't just white cops, these
14:03
are racist white cops, if not outwardly, implicitly biased and racist white cops.
14:10
And in that if we listen to people in the news and people like LeBron James, these men
14:16
are being hunted all day long by racist white cops like all the cops that I've described
14:21
in these situations.
14:24
But we don't know anything yet, really.
14:29
We've seen a couple of short videos and we've got a small investigation report that was
14:35
released this evening.
14:37
We don't know anything, but remember, I'll take you back to what Tony ever's the governor
14:41
of Wisconsin, the Democratic governor of Wisconsin saying this quote, while we do not have all
14:46
the details yet, what we know for certain is that he is not the first black man or person
14:51
to have been shot or injured or mercilessly killed at the hands of individuals in law
14:55
enforcement in our state or our country in quote.
14:59
So in the same breath, he says, while we don't have the details, I can tell you for sure
15:04
this is another murder of a black man.
15:08
We don't know that, but apparently Tony ever's the governor of Wisconsin knows that.
15:12
And then how about Joe Biden?
15:13
Let's go back to his statement, quote, black Americans, black American is a victim of
15:18
excessive force, this calls for an immediate full and transparent investigation and the
15:23
officers must be held accountable, unquote.
15:26
The first sentence says that this man was a victim of excessive force in the very next
15:31
sentence says that we need to have an investigation.
15:35
I did not realize that Joe Biden was a clairvoyant.
15:40
I didn't realize that he knew things that no one else knew.
15:43
I didn't realize he had the knowledge of God because apparently he does because he knows
15:50
that this was just another black victim of excessive force by the police while at the
15:55
same time advocating that we need a transparent and full investigation, but that the officers
16:01
must be held accountable.
16:03
Well, if they weren't in the wrong, what exactly are you holding them accountable to?
16:08
And let's go back to Aaron Rodgers, what he said, quote, there's a systemic problem.
16:11
And until the problem is fixed, this is going to be an all too common sighting in this country.
16:16
Unquote.
16:17
What systemic problem are you referring to, Aaron Rodgers?
16:20
The systemic problem of men that are having 911 called on them because of their actions
16:27
and then reaching for a weapon, presumably in this situation, allegedly reaching for a
16:32
weapon and then getting shot for their trouble.
16:35
Is that the systemic problem that you're referring to?
16:38
And then we got LeBron James tonight, again, this guy, I mean, this guy is a guy that we
16:42
should absolutely look up to and we should let our kids wear his jerseys and everything.
16:47
And I'm not going to read it out loud, but you can read it for yourself.
16:49
It has three quarters of a million, the likes on Twitter, but it was, quote, F this man,
16:55
we demand change sick of it.
16:59
And he just tweeted that today.
17:01
What exactly is the this that he's effing F this man?
17:08
What changes he demanding?
17:11
What exactly is he sick of?
17:14
Is he sick of black people being shot by police?
17:18
When presumably that's what should have happened.
17:22
When black people are attacking police or reaching for weapons, presumably allegedly to
17:28
use to engage in the fight with police officers, what exactly is he sick of?
17:33
Because right now it just seems like he's screaming at the sky, but here's the thing
17:38
guys is we don't know anything yet.
17:41
The investigation hasn't happened, but in the eyes of most of these woke people in the
17:48
eyes of these Democrats, in the eyes of these leftist politicians and athletes and all these
17:52
individuals, they already know.
17:56
And that's the narrative that you will be fed because it is all about the narrative.
18:00
Guys, we've talked about this over and over and over narrative is king.
18:05
And so in light of all that, I've just got some random thoughts and then we'll let you
18:08
guys get out of here.
18:10
These are random thoughts and some pro tips that I've thrown in.
18:12
Maybe the first pro tip is this before you express a strong opinion on a controversial
18:17
topic, maybe wait for more facts to come out.
18:21
You guys remember the first three episodes of the race in America series?
18:24
Remember me telling you in episode one that, Hey guys, I've spent the last two months thinking
18:28
about the situation going on, you know, all of the ripple effects from the George Floyd
18:33
killing and all those different things.
18:34
I took months, literally months to read and watch and think about what was going on and
18:42
solicit opinions and to go into this before I released my opinion and my thoughts on this
18:47
issue.
18:48
And I think I did a pretty dang good job of, of formulating my thoughts in a way that
18:53
was cogent and expressible in ways for you to be able to take away things from that and
18:57
digest it.
18:59
But this happens immediately.
19:02
People go with the initial report that this was just a good Samaritan that saw a couple
19:06
of women fighting was trying to break it up and they just ran with that.
19:09
And now that's the paradigm in their brain.
19:12
And here's, here's the thing guys, as you might be thinking, well, kind of, aren't you,
19:15
you know, going against your own pro tip?
19:16
Like here you are giving a strong opinion.
19:18
Guys, the shooting happened three days ago.
19:22
We've got information that has come out just this evening, just a few hours ago.
19:27
There was the report that was released that he had an knife in his car.
19:30
That's what he was presumably reaching for.
19:32
And he admitted that in his investigation in the investigation, the investigators, he admitted
19:37
it right to them saying, yeah, I had an knife in my possession, right?
19:41
So why do we feel the need?
19:44
It's just, it's his hot take generation.
19:46
We're in this hot take thing where everything has to be a hot take, right?
19:50
You can't wait for things to come out because if you wait, then you don't get to ride that
19:54
wave of, of woke likes and retweets, right?
19:59
Because you waited too long to give your opinion.
20:01
So there's no virtue in just waiting until more of the facts come out, right?
20:06
You can't do that.
20:07
That's just crazy.
20:08
Why would anyone do that, Kyle?
20:10
But guys, if you're going to be like this, especially Christian men, right?
20:15
Before you go putting your foot in your mouth and to prevent yourself from having to eat
20:18
crow later, just wait a second, just wait a few seconds to figure out the lay of the
20:24
land before you just, you know, go off and start half cocked, shooting around and just
20:29
going and saying crazy things.
20:31
It's ridiculous.
20:32
So here's the next random thought.
20:34
Screw the National Basketball Association.
20:37
Screw the NBA, guys.
20:39
I am fully reconsidering my position on boycotting things.
20:43
I'm done with the NBA.
20:45
I am completely done.
20:47
Guys, they lost me when they put the name of a Marxist organization on their court.
20:52
Black Lives Matter, right?
20:54
And here's the thing, guys, is again, this is kind of a semantic thing to where it's
20:57
like, oh, there, that's not Black Lives Matter, the organization.
21:00
That's a Black Lives Matter, the sentence.
21:01
Come on, Kyle, you got to understand the nuance here.
21:04
But but guys, that that is not just, as I said, I've said it so many times I've said
21:09
in all those other episodes, Black Lives Matter is not a sentence anymore.
21:13
It is the name of an organization.
21:15
It is the name of a movement, right?
21:18
So so guys, if I have, or I thought about this the other day, there's a band that I really
21:22
like that I listened to in high school and college, the name of the band, ISIS.
21:26
Well, just a few years after I stopped listening to that band, well, wouldn't you know it?
21:32
ISIS became the common name for one of the grossest and most evil terrorist organizations
21:38
in the Middle East, ISIS.
21:41
And so I can still be a fan of that band, but I would be hard pressed to tell you that
21:44
whenever I hear the word ISIS, that I think about this obscure metal band that went on
21:49
tour with tool once, right?
21:51
We think about the terrorist organization.
21:53
So if you say Black Lives Matter in August of 2020, no one's thinking about the sentence.
21:59
They're thinking about the organization.
22:00
They're thinking about the movement, because that's what we've been told to do, right?
22:05
And then they also, they had all the messages on the jerseys, right?
22:08
You know, equality and peace and you got to vote and Black Lives Matter and say their
22:13
names and all those different things.
22:15
And now you've got them boycotting games, which these dummies don't realize they're
22:18
boycotting their own business.
22:22
Like it's so unbelievable.
22:25
Don't they understand that they are in business with the owners and there is no business.
22:30
If there is no games, there's already a tremendous drop in revenue because they don't have thousands
22:36
of people at these playoff games, buying beer, buying pretzels, buying nachos, buying shirts,
22:42
buying jerseys.
22:43
They don't have that revenue.
22:45
They just have the TV revenue.
22:47
The ratings have tanked because people are, they're not down with all this Black Lives
22:51
Matter stuff either.
22:52
Like they're not down with the con and the Marxist messages and being bullied into being
22:55
told what to do.
22:56
Like they're not down with that.
22:59
And then the faux outrage of these players, especially LeBron James, just the outrage
23:05
and they can't really tell you the outrage that they're specifically referring to.
23:11
And here's the thing that's interesting is where was all of their outrage on, on other
23:15
topics and LeBron's outrage, he's saying that for all Twitter.
23:20
I never heard him talk about the sweatshops that Nike has overseas.
23:25
I've never heard him talk about that.
23:27
He doesn't seem to be outraged that there are children putting together his ugly basketball
23:31
shoes for 25 cents a day.
23:34
I haven't quite heard that from him yet.
23:37
And what about the outrage over how China is treating Hong Kong?
23:41
You know, they were outraged that the GM of the Houston, Houston Rockets would just possibly
23:47
come out and say that the way that they're treating things is not the right way of doing
23:52
it.
23:53
And he was maligned by all the players.
23:56
And do you all remember that one time when LeBron James tweeted about what the Chinese
23:59
government was doing to the Uyghur Muslims?
24:01
Oh, wait.
24:02
Yeah, you missed that.
24:03
Oh, it was because he'd never tweeted about it.
24:06
I haven't seen any NBA players talk about their outrage at the fact that the Chinese
24:11
government, the communist, atheistic, evil government of China is putting Muslims whom
24:15
I disagree with vehemently about their religion, putting them in concentration camps, shaving
24:20
their heads and putting them on trains and sending them to God knows where to modern day
24:25
gulags.
24:27
Where was the outrage about David Dorne?
24:31
That was a black man.
24:32
If you'll remember, I think it was a 70 year old black man, former police chief in St. Louis
24:35
that was killed outside of his friend shop because he was trying to guard it from Black
24:39
Lives Matter people, do you remember the outrage from those from these NBA players about David
24:43
Dorne?
24:45
How about this?
24:46
Have you seen outrage about any child killed by stray bullets in Chicago?
24:55
The two year olds, the five year olds, the seven year olds.
24:58
Do you know any of their names?
25:01
Do you?
25:03
I bet you don't.
25:04
I bet if LeBron James were in front of me right now and I asked him to give me one name,
25:09
one name of somebody this year that was killed in Chicago by gang violence.
25:13
That was a neutral party.
25:14
He wouldn't be able to give me a name because here's the thing, I'll just speak directly
25:19
to LeBron in this case here.
25:21
I dare you to leave the bubble.
25:24
I dare you to leave the NBA bubble and show everyone just how righteous you are and leave
25:31
that maybe last opportunity to win a championship in order to fight for justice.
25:36
Make it your full time job.
25:38
Go to every city where a unarmed black man is killed by police and fight for justice
25:43
right there.
25:44
I want you to also go if you have time, LeBron, let's go and make sure you go to Chicago,
25:48
let's go to Baltimore, let's go to Detroit, let's go to Los Angeles, let's go to these
25:53
places where blacks are being slaughtered by other blacks and I want you to talk about
25:59
your outrage for that too and how tired of it you are, how sick of it you are because
26:05
guys, this is what, what's actually happening.
26:07
By doing what they're doing, these NBA players are signaling that they're on the side of
26:11
the rioters and looters and they may not have to just come right out and say it, but they're
26:17
pretty much saying it with their actions.
26:20
So you guys need to think really seriously about your support for the NBA because I'm
26:25
done with them and I live in Oklahoma City, there's no more thunder for me, right?
26:30
There's gonna be plenty of thunder fans whenever we come back out of this COVID-19 stuff, not
26:34
for me.
26:35
I'm out.
26:36
The next thought I have here, so I took so long on that one, it was important.
26:39
The next thought here is that major sports leagues are trying to hold American viewers
26:44
hostage and we must make them pay by turning off our televisions, by unfollowing them on
26:52
Twitter and Instagram, by, by not commenting on their videos, by, by not sharing any stuff
26:59
on YouTube because this is what they're basically saying, what we're seeing mainly from the
27:03
NBA and then with, you know, pockets of major league baseball.
27:07
It's essentially this, you like what watching us play sports on TV.
27:11
So instead of watching us play sports on TV, you should just hear our cries for racial
27:16
justice or something, right? because that's what these people are doing and there's a
27:22
tremendous opportunity for sports leagues to instead of just hopping on the Woke bandwagon
27:29
and trying to impress all the blue check mark people on Twitter to just say, you know what,
27:34
this is a sport.
27:35
So maybe hockey can do it.
27:36
You know, maybe, maybe the UFC can be that sport, maybe, you know, Aussie rules football
27:41
can be that sports something and they can just say, you know what, there's a lot of problems
27:44
in the world and a lot of different areas.
27:47
And we play sports because we want people to come together and to be able to cheer for
27:52
or against a team and that for that to be the most, you know, dramatic thing that happens
27:58
is you're cheering for the team in red and you're cheering for the team in yellow, you
28:01
know, whatever the situation is, that's, that's what a league should come through and say.
28:07
Just to push back on the mob, right?
28:09
Do what Trader Joe's did when everyone freaked out because they had, you know, some salsa
28:13
called like Trader Jose's or something like that.
28:15
They're originally going to take it off the shelves and rename it.
28:17
And then they finally realized like, no, no, we're not going to do that.
28:20
That's dumb.
28:21
This isn't racist.
28:22
Like this is respectful of the Latino coach, the culture.
28:25
And that's why we sell this.
28:26
And that's why people love it.
28:27
Like, we're just not doing that.
28:28
I mean, do you realize how many more people would maybe not be NHL fans normally?
28:33
But now it's like, well, they don't have any basketball to watch.
28:35
They might as well watch the Stanley Cup playoffs, right?
28:39
Next thought here is remember when I said, hey, guys, I don't know.
28:43
I don't like to pat myself on the back.
28:44
But do you remember when I said that you can never be woke enough or bow low enough before
28:50
the mob?
28:53
I was right because here's the thing.
28:56
The NBA basically allowed everything that the players wanted, right?
29:01
They never said no.
29:02
Okay.
29:03
Yeah.
29:04
I want to put messages on your jerseys.
29:05
That doesn't really make sense that you would put the name of quality or black eyes matter
29:07
on the back.
29:08
Well, sure.
29:09
Yeah.
29:10
Yeah.
29:11
Let's put it on the jerseys.
29:12
It's kneeling for the national anthem.
29:14
So that was good.
29:15
They made sure that was prominently shown on television.
29:17
The NBA is like, Oh, yeah, sure.
29:18
Let's put black eyes matter on the court.
29:20
That makes a lot of sense.
29:21
But it wasn't enough.
29:24
They let the players self cancel games without any retribution.
29:29
It was encouraged because let's say Adam Silver would have done this, which he never
29:34
would have done this because he's a crazy far lefty.
29:36
But let's say he would have said, okay, Milwaukee Bucks, we, we appreciate the decision that
29:42
you've made, especially during this time.
29:45
But you had a scheduled game today this afternoon and you didn't play that game and per the
29:50
rules of any sport ever, anywhere on the planet, that means you forfeit a playoff game.
29:58
I mean, would there have been anything else?
30:01
I think that would have made the series of three, two at that point, you know, what if
30:07
the NBA would have done that?
30:08
Of course they would never do such a thing.
30:10
But guys, this is what I'm saying.
30:13
For those of you that are trying to appease the mob by bowing low enough and begging for
30:17
forgiveness and, you know, they, they yell at you in a restaurant.
30:20
You just hold up your fist and just hope that they don't see you holding up your fist, not
30:23
as high as the person on the other side of the restaurant.
30:26
You can't bow low enough.
30:28
You can't apologize loud enough.
30:31
You can't be woke enough.
30:33
The mob will eat you alive.
30:35
And what we're seeing right now is the NBA is eating itself because their ratings were
30:40
already in the toilet whenever they came back.
30:42
Maybe that's just because of, you know, COVID and people are just focused on other things
30:46
or they've got other things going on.
30:47
But you would think that there wasn't live sports for anyone to watch really except for
30:51
some random fights and some random races internationally.
30:54
And then the NBA comes back and no one wants to watch could have anything to do with the
30:59
fact that you have a Marxist slogan and, you know, revolt group that you have their name
31:03
right there on the court.
31:04
Could that have something to do with it?
31:06
Could it have something to do with the players putting the messages out there constantly about
31:11
how the United States is just full of racist and if you're white, you're just one of those
31:15
racist and there's nothing you can do about it in no way that you can change their mind?
31:19
Do you think that has anything to do with it?
31:22
It's ridiculous.
31:23
Next thought here is that there is no punishment for evil as long as you have the right narrative
31:28
working for you.
31:29
Again, it's all about the narrative.
31:30
So Sean King, and I got to be honest with you, I know the name Sean King, I know he does
31:34
things on Twitter.
31:35
I don't know what this guy does for a living.
31:37
I mean, does he run a website?
31:38
You know, does he?
31:39
I don't know.
31:40
Did he used to write a book?
31:41
I have no idea.
31:42
But I do know what he wrote on Twitter and it's unbelievably evil quote and I'm not going
31:46
to say all the quotes because I can't say it all on a family show.
31:48
But here we go.
31:49
Quote, to the Kenosha police department, if you do not name the officer who brutally
31:54
shot Jacob Blake on Sunday, we will simply begin naming officers from your department
31:59
who may or may not be him.
32:01
Effit, your protection of his identity is unethical.
32:05
What is his name?
32:07
Unquote Twitter came out and said that this didn't violate their terms of service.
32:15
A threat to docs, police officers that are not involved with the shooting or ones that
32:23
are involved with that shooting to just put all of their information out there.
32:27
Ah, it's okay, it's within the terms of service.
32:31
You know, Trump tweets something about, you know, hydroxy chloroquine.
32:35
And it's like, no, we got to shut down Twitter for a day, right?
32:39
But again, guys, Sean King is one of them.
32:43
He's a lefty blue check mark person on Twitter.
32:45
He thinks the right things.
32:47
So the things that he says must be right because he has the right ideology.
32:53
This dovetails nicely and in the next thought here, Marxist Democrats.
32:57
If this is getting political, sorry, if this isn't your bag, there's plenty of other podcasts
33:01
out there, Marxist Democrats are threatening everyday Americans and trying to bully them
33:05
into submission.
33:07
We're seeing it all over the country.
33:09
We're just now seeing it with Kenosha, Wisconsin.
33:11
We're seeing it with these people.
33:13
There's basically a threat.
33:15
Democrats are telling you that if you don't vote blue in November, you know, for Senate
33:21
and House and for the presidency, then that's it.
33:25
It's Molotov cocktails every day.
33:28
Perhaps it'll be your business that we burn to the ground today, right?
33:32
Because people have got this idea that, Oh, well, these people have insurance.
33:35
So they can just rebuild their businesses.
33:37
It's no big deal.
33:38
This is about justice.
33:40
What these morons don't understand is that most insurance has a deductible that you have
33:45
to come out of pocket for.
33:47
And that your future insurance rates are going to go up invariably, right?
33:53
So what you're doing is you're stealing from these people at the very least, the amount
33:57
that they've increased in their premiums or the amount that is going to be part of what
34:00
they have to pay in their deductible.
34:03
But that's the threat that is the non veiled threat from these people is we will continue
34:09
to do this because guys, here's the message, Joe Biden, who has been in May in the Senate,
34:15
he's been in the public sphere.
34:17
He's been a politician for almost half a century that he's now ready to end racism.
34:26
He is now ready to end equality.
34:28
And if you just elect him in November, all this goes away.
34:33
America is no longer a racist country.
34:35
I mean, even though we elected a black president for two terms and he won by landslides both
34:39
times, but that that didn't prove anything.
34:42
If we elect this old white guy, if we elect him who supported busing as his own VP pounded
34:50
him on, who said some pretty racist things in the past, if we can just elect him, then
34:56
we'll put our Molotov cocktails away.
34:58
There will be no need to ride anymore, no need for all this fighting and all of the fires
35:04
and all the riots in the looting and in the glass breaking and the gunshots firing in
35:10
the blocking traffic, we won't have a need for that anymore.
35:13
So we'll certainly talk more about the election as it gets closer.
35:16
That's just something to keep in mind.
35:18
And the last thing is here is I'm going to do something that you may have been, you may
35:21
be really surprised to know that I would actually even think to do and it's this.
35:25
I want to give black lives matter some advice.
35:29
I want black lives matter to make a few changes.
35:33
I think I can really help them.
35:35
If you know someone that works for black lives matter, just let me know.
35:38
I think I can help them with their marketing, I can help them with their language.
35:40
You know, I'm kind of an expert at that.
35:42
So just let me help them.
35:44
And the biggest advice that I would get black lives matter right now is could you just pick
35:49
some better martyrs?
35:52
Maybe just one.
35:55
Because Jacob Blake, this situation, again, I don't presume to know most of the things
35:58
about the situation, but it doesn't look good right now for his sake being a martyr.
36:04
This was a violent criminal with a rap sheet whose presence of the officers were caused
36:10
by his actions to start.
36:13
He seemed to be reaching for a weapon and the investigation will tell us whether or not
36:16
that was the case.
36:17
It's not looking good for his case as a martyr.
36:20
Okay.
36:21
And then they've got Michael Brown that they still hold up as a martyr, even Joe Biden mentioned
36:26
Michael Brown recently.
36:27
You remember the guy who they said had his hands up and he was on his knees begging for
36:30
his life whenever he was executed by the police, Officer Darren Wilson, I think was his name.
36:34
Oops, except there were two federal investigations and one of them by the Obama Justice Department.
36:40
That's it.
36:41
That's actually not what happened.
36:42
Michael Brown was actually on his way to attack the cop again whenever he was shot
36:46
for his trouble.
36:47
So he doesn't really fit the mold of a good martyr.
36:50
Then we got Richard Brooks, which I talked about his situation at length, but he fought
36:54
with two cops.
36:55
He tried to shoot one with his own taser, got shot for his trouble.
36:57
Maybe doesn't meet the standards.
37:00
And then we've got the name that's on everybody's lips right now and that's Brianna Taylor,
37:03
right?
37:04
We've heard a lot about that name.
37:05
You know, say her name and you know, we need to arrest those cops and you know, even the
37:08
Tampa Bay Rays, they tweeted out, Hey, it's opening day, which is a great, great reason
37:13
to rest these cops, you know, for for killing Brianna Taylor.
37:16
Well, there's a lot of conflicting information right now and I don't presume to know anything
37:19
because I don't have the more knowledge than you do.
37:22
But there seems to be more indications that Brianna Taylor was actually a part of a drug
37:28
dealing ring and a drug smuggling ring.
37:31
So everyone's like, oh, it was her boyfriend whose house that she was living in or apartment
37:35
that she was living in.
37:36
That was part of this, this drug deal thing and she had nothing to do with it.
37:41
That doesn't really seem to be the case that there's evidence that she actually mule drugs
37:46
for her boyfriend, right?
37:47
And for other people and that may end up not being true.
37:50
And guys, guess what?
37:51
If it's found out that everything that I just told you is inaccurate, you will 100% hear
37:56
me talk about it on a future episode and I will refer back to this one so that I can
38:00
correct the record.
38:01
I won't edit this episode, I'll just correct the record later.
38:05
But is Brianna Taylor the person that you want your your young black daughter to look
38:09
up to?
38:11
Is she your martyr?
38:13
And then we got George Floyd.
38:15
Because guess what?
38:16
There was some breaking news about George Floyd today.
38:18
And guys, before you think I'm going to say anything, I'm not going to say that I think
38:21
one of the biggest reasons that George Floyd is dead today is obviously because of what
38:24
Officer Derek Chauvin did.
38:27
But the breaking news today is that the amount of fentanyl that was in his system at the
38:33
time of his death was enough to kill him.
38:37
The report said that his lungs were twice the weight that they should have been, which
38:42
is a sign of fentanyl overdose.
38:46
Basically the person that did this report said that if he had died in his apartment by himself,
38:51
they would have put the cause of death as overdosing from fentanyl.
38:56
So this is a guy who had a rap sheet.
38:58
This is a guy who died with fentanyl and meth in his system.
39:01
This is a guy that resisted arrest.
39:02
This is a guy that I think pointed a gun in the face of a pregnant woman while he robbed
39:07
her.
39:09
This is another one of your martyrs.
39:12
So to Black Lives Matter, and I mean this sincerely, I want you to bring me stories like
39:19
Medgar Evers, right?
39:22
And guys, don't worry in the show notes, I'll, I'll give you some stuff.
39:25
So if you don't know the name Medgar Evers, you should get to know that name.
39:29
Bring me someone that looks like that.
39:31
You know, I was talking with someone, buddy of mine today that it will be listening to
39:34
this episode here shortly, I, I would, would imagine.
39:38
But if let's take that ridiculous scenario I said earlier, let's say it is just a black
39:43
man sitting on a bench, reading his Bible, eating a peanut butter jelly, mining his own
39:46
business, and racist white cops literally targeted him because he was black and shot
39:50
him for no reason.
39:52
If you can bring me one of those cases, let me know where to show up.
39:56
I will walk with you.
39:58
I will march with you.
40:00
I will hold a sign that I've made myself and I will peacefully protest that unbelievable
40:05
sin that was propagated and that came out of the racist ideology, right?
40:10
I will do that.
40:12
But that's not what you're bringing me.
40:15
What you're bringing me are Jacob Blake and Michael Brown and Richard Brooks and Breonna
40:18
Taylor and George Floyd.
40:20
And at the very least, all these situations are muddy, right?
40:25
Some of these situations are very clear and they're getting clearer as they do more investigations.
40:29
But you're bringing me these muddy situations where most of the time the cops were acting
40:34
within their rights and within their training.
40:37
What exactly do you expect me to do with that?
40:43
Because I want to be on your side.
40:45
I really do because if we do have systemic racism and you can point me to specific examples,
40:51
I'm willing to fight with you, but you're not bringing me anything that I can fight for.
40:57
You're bringing me useless platitudes.
41:01
You're bringing me nonsense.
41:03
You're bringing me things that don't help anybody except for people that are driving
41:08
a narrative.
41:10
So if all you want to do is win the narrative game, that's one thing.
41:13
But if you actually want to correct the sin, you got to give me something else.
41:16
All right, guys, before we let you go, we will do a quick resilience boost.
41:19
As you know, by now, we are a men's ministry and our mission is cultivating mainly resilience.
41:23
Specifically we do that by providing you content like this podcast that helps you forge spiritual,
41:27
mental and physical toughness.
41:28
So for today, I've got a slight deviation, but I've had a lot of people reach out to
41:32
me since last week's episode when I did those five stories that you probably weren't aware
41:35
of and asked me, Kyle, where do you get your news?
41:38
It's so hard for me to find news.
41:39
I feel like I have to get a piece from over here to piece from over here and try to bring
41:42
it together.
41:43
I just can't get the straight shot.
41:44
So I'm going to give you the list or I'm going to give you the website links for several
41:49
websites that are center right that I feel like do a great job of when they're reporting
41:55
the news.
41:56
Okay.
41:57
You can kind of tell when they're giving conservative commentary, but I feel like they're doing
42:01
the best job of just reporting the news, especially about the things like what we're seeing right
42:05
now with the situation in Kenosha.
42:07
Okay.
42:08
These four websites are these, right?
42:09
And you might think, oh, you're crazy.
42:11
These are center right.
42:12
I'm telling you from the very beginning, they have a conservative band.
42:15
The daily wire, the daily caller, the federalist and town hall.
42:20
So follow those websites, do an RSS feed, follow them on Twitter, follow some of their
42:24
writers on Twitter.
42:25
I feel like you'll start to get some of these stories that you may not get from your CNN's
42:29
or your embassy and be in MSNBC's or even Fox News.
42:33
And the last thing I've got for you is a link to the Wikipedia page for the life of Medgar
42:36
Evers.
42:37
So you should probably familiarize yourself with that man.
42:39
All right, guys.
42:40
